Such an amazing stay at the CHARMING hotel. It felt other-worldly! The actual building is the cutest! The breakfast was delicious every day. The room had so much character and was very comfortable. I looked all aroud the Bariloche area for the perfect hotel and I am SO glad I chose this one!!!

Fantastic stay for weekend visit to Bariloche while in Argentina for a long business trip. The owner and the staff were all extremely hospitable and welcoming. I travel extensively for work and the service provided by the entire staff made me feel like I was staying with family and friends. Aldebaran’s service is unmatched by anywhere else I have stayed this year.

It would be hard to imagine a more comfortable place to stay than the Aldebaran Hotel. The staff was amazingly accommodating and helpful. The interior of the hotel is more like a high end residence than a hotel. We ate at the hotel three nights and the food and service were excellent every night, although pricey by Argentine standards. The view of the lake and mountains from our room was like a painting. This hotel is about 45 minutes from the chaos of downtown Bariloche and is in a very peaceful semi-rural area. It is very close to the Circuito Chico, which in our opinion had much better and more accessible scenery than the Circuito Grande. We would stay here again.

Très bel emplacement pour ce petit hôtel stylé avec une vue sur le lac et les montagnes. Il faut négocier environ 2km de piste pour y accéder mais il vaut mieux s'éloigner de la route qui longe le lac donc ce n'est pas forcément une mauvaise chose. Très bon accueil et vous allez adorer les chimangos. Seul hic était le restaurant ce qui était un peu décevant et cher. Sinon une bonne adresse.

Beautiful hotel for a very relaxing stay. Staff were very helpful and attentive, and the food was excellent.
The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and quite far from the centre of Bariloche.
Only negative was that the jacuzzi was very dirty, otherwise the hotel is very presentable, clean and comfortable.

Friendly staff and all the amenities you could wish for in a boutique hotel. Spacious room with a balcony overlooking the lake and a distinct old-world charm. Definitely one of the best hotels I've stayed in!!

I honestly don't have enough space here to fully explain how much we LOVED our experience here at Aldebaran. From the moment we first stepped in the door we felt as if we were staying in the luxurious home of a relative. Our hostess Carolina was sweet, kind and extremely helpful even going so far as to lend my friend and I her bus pass to get us into town when we first arrived rather than spend extra money to call a taxi. Every meal that we ate here was delicious and the chef Ana was fantastic. Another hostess who we met later on, Denise, was equally fabulous and extremely helpful. We spent a night lounging in the comfortable \"living room\" sipping on after dinner drinks and chatting with Denise about her suggestions for things to do and places to eat in Bariloche. Honestly I could go on and on and on....
The only downside (if you even want to call it that) is that it is outside of the city and very much \"off the beaten path\". Our cab driver from the airport upon arrival was literally freaking out that there was no way a hotel could be this \"remote\" but of course it was worth it and honestly it was nice to be away from the loud, busy city center. Carolina and Denise both were able to call a taxi or a Remis for us with no problem when we wanted to get into town and when we felt like walking we \"hiked\" the 2 miles But overall we did not want to leave and are counting down the days until we can return!!! Don't pass up this opportunity in Patagonia! A true hidden gem!!

Excellent hotel, customer service and attention to detail. Great if one is looking for a quiet place to relax. Car rental is required for those who stay at this property, otherwise might be tricky to travel in and around Bariloche.

A lovely special place. So much attention to detail. Incredible views. A huge room. An apartment really. I really enjoyed and would recommend it. Its very remote so be prepared for that. Suzi was so nice and helpful with plans and reservations. The restaurant is average. I persomally wouldn't recommend it compared to others. But the setting is beautiful.

I couldn’t have picked a more perfect place, was exactly what I wanted. A beautiful hotel right on the edge of the lake, far enough away from town & the main road to not have to hear any cars & to just feel immersed in the amazing landscape.
Bedroom was lovely, huge, comfortable, great bed, and the view of the mountains & lake from the terrace was breathtaking.
The staff were all lovely, so friendly, considerate & accommodating, can’t praise them more highly.
If you want a beautiful, quiet & luxurious retreat don’t think twice about booking here!

Lovely little hotel with great views over the lake

Excellent all round. Delicious breakfast and dinner and very friendly helpful staff, especially important if there’s a language barrier. Car essential as the hotel is located 2k off the main road down an unsurfaced lane. It’s isolatec location does make for some great star gazing. Tea & coffee making facilities in the rooms would be the only improvement.

The hotel is wonderful. The area is out of town which is what we wanted. Beautiful views of the lake. The room we stayed in was big, light and airy. The staff were super friendly and always willing to help. The lounge area in the hotel is great for pre-dinner drinks and the dinner is superb. Such a wonderful place.

Lovely, out of the way and Charming

If I could only use one word to describe our stay at the Aldebaran, it would be outstanding. Now, I am staying at the Llao Llao for a few days and it too is outstanding... just in a different way. The Aldebaran is beautiful, charming and has gorgeous rooms overlooking the magnificent lake. The rooms are immaculate and wonderfully appointed with a traditionally Argentine design sense. It is quiet, out of the way and the staff, lovely.

I'm not a frequent reviewer but a frequent traveler, but I have to give the Aldebaran and it's amazing staff especially Romina the highest review possible. I was very burned out and booked a week to go offline and enjoy some activities. Romina booked everything for me ahead of time via email, which allowed me to enjoy a wonderful week in Patagonia to get back to normal. The views are breathtaking and facility is prestine. Their dinner menu is wonderful, just go book now.

A gem in the Patagonia

I am myself vegan and they went above and beyond their means to offer vegan butter and bread for me. They even manage to find oat milk (not so great though) but what I truly appreciate is their efforts to make you feel welcome and special. The room itself was beautiful and spacious. The bathroom was very comfortable and roomy. The hotel main areas were so nicely decorated that it was very inviting to relax or just read a book.
It was by far the best customer service experience I had in Argentina during my 10 days stay. I for sure will go back to this hotel!!!!

Beautiful facility with access to the lake and national park. Beautiful rooms with outstanding view of the mountains and a great staff. Restaurant is very good. Rooms not air conditioned so if you have bad allergies, might need to avoid. The temperature in January is idyllic, 70's during the day, 40's at night, so we slept with the windows open which was delightful.

Aldebaran is hot!

Probably our best stay during our 3 week trip in Argentina-Chile. Beautiful location, great views, quiet sleep with wonderful bedding and spacious room. The bathroom was top notch. Other hotel facilities such as the pool/hot tub/sauna area were also very...very nice. Loved the indoor/outdoor pool with views of the sun set. Massage services were very good. We ate there for their Friday evening special. I highly recommend eating supper at least once there. Good menu selection and they have very good cooking facilities. I think the best part of the stay was Anna and the staff. Everybody was so very helpful. Guest synergy was wonderful and you just knew you were staying in a top notch facility. Double thumbs up!! It takes a little bit of time to drive to town but the better things to do were found near the hotel (Lao-Lao area including the loop drive and hiking in the municipal park). Also check out the Swiss Suiza area. I also highly recommend driving to Cerro Tronador (black glacier)if you have a day to give. Just take it slow and enjoy the wonders of the different lakes, waterfalls and views.

Beautiful, quiet, great staff.

An amazing little hotel outside of Bariloche. It's a little far from town (which isn't a bad thing as town isn't that pretty), but it's very nice, comfortable, amazing views. Opt for a larger room on the top floors for fantastic views, especially as the sun rises and shines on the snow capped mountains. Great staff that will help you with anything. Highly recommended.

A beautiful lodge-type retreat on a peninsula. Perfect for relaxing. Food was wonderful. Service exceptional. Because it is isolated, a car is helpful. But if you are dependent on taxis, as I was, the staff are extremely helpful in arranging transportation and the taxi drivers were all very reliable and nice.

Beautiful Bariloche boutique with Spectacular View

The Aldebaran Hotel is a beautiful hotel with a spectacular view. It is a bit out of town but it great for absolute peace and quiet and stargazing at night. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel grounds are pretty and the spa area is very nice. The breakfast was very good as was the room service fare. I would definitely recommend this lovely hotel to anyone.

Far Far From the Maddening Crowd

A great place to stay in the Patagonia Lake District if you want to get away from the crowds of tourists in Bariloche. A 10 room boutique hotel on an unpaved road 20-30 minutes from town. Everything about this place is a joy....great attention to detail and style in every way, engaging & passionate staff who effortless provide personal attention, excellent food in an intimate setting, and 1st class rooms with views of mountains and the lake that are 2nd to none.

Remote, quiet, lovely.

If you really want to experience Patagonia, this is the place to stay. It is in a remote, quiet location. The facility is beautiful and the staff is service oriented. It doesn't have all the commercial bells and whistles, which makes it so much more enjoyable. It's intimate and lovely. I recommend you rent a car as access to public transportation is a bit far to the main road.

A Wonderful Boutique Hotel

Not enough nice things to say about the quality of the staff or the elegance of the hotel and the grounds. They helped us with a rental car, gave good advice about sight seeing trips, and even made us a full breakfast the day we left very early - at 5:30 AM.

Hotel elegante, confortável e harmoniozo.

Ficamos 7 dias em familia, o atendimento de todos colaboradores foi excelente, atenciosos, educados, pacientes e solicitos.
O quarto tem uma vista expetacular para a montanha e lago, dignos de descanso e meditação.
Estavamos com nosso filho de 7 anos, foi muito agradável.
Café da manhã muito bom!

Para quem gosta de natureza e privacidade é o hotel ideal! A equipe toda é super atenciosa, simpática e está sempre disponível! O café da manhã é bom. Caminhei na redondeza, existem restaurantes ótimos próximos, não divulgado nas redes sociais. A vista do quarto que fiquei parece uma pintura, foi o número 2! Foi uma experiência perfeita!! Acho importante saberem que o hotel é afastado do centro, mas com um carro tudo fica próximo.

Hotel no geral, foi bom. Cama boa, qualidade dos edredons e travesseiros também, deixa a desejar pelo chão do quarto, ele é de madeira então faz muito barulho. Ele fica bem longe do centro, pega uns 2 km de estrada de chão. Pouca variedade no café da manhã. Ele é bem tranquilo, só ouvi barulho dos pássaros.

Hotel muito caro para o que proporciona. Tem apenas o local diferenciado, assim como outros, que possuem valor ainda mais acessível.
Precisam de uma renovação, pois está bem abaixo de ser apenas rústico. As paredes estão rachadas, deveriam deixar mais aconchegante e melhorar a pintura, que possui muitos mofos e paredes manchadas, como ambiente rústico.
O píer bem precário, precisa ser renovado, para a proposta de um hotel no lago, além de necessitar tb de um corrimão melhor e mais seguro!
Não tem smart tv, nem frigobar.

Umidade excessiva no banheiro, chuveiro não era bom.

Precisam de uma reforma.

Café da manhã muito simples, faltando itens.
O atendimento dos funcionários é bom, com excessão da gerente, que fica no período da tarde/noite.

Rústico e exclusivo

O hotel é maravilhoso e super exclusivo. Fiquem atentos que os quartos não tem frigobar, mas tudo que precisar é só pedir. A piscina no SPA estava super quentinha e gostosa. Os ambientes são super aconchegantes e o restaurante tem uma comida bem gostosa. Para ficar lá é melhor alugar carro , já que fica bem distante do centro.

Foi tudo excelente. Lugar lindo, aconchegante e nos sentimos em casa. Uma sensação de não querer ir embora. Café da manhã muito bom e os pratos do jantar, um melhor que o outro. Ficamos uma semana e todos funcionários foram muito gentis e amáveis.
