From the minute we arrived, Alejandro, Jose and Pablo were incredibly helpful and informative. Alejandro spent a lot of time with us telling us about local hiking spots and messaged us during to stay to see how we were doing. Room service was fast and delicious. Our view of the lake and mountains was breathtaking.

Beautiful views and excellent service. Have stayed in many 5 star hotels and Lirolay suites has been the best in terms of personalized service. The staff helped us coordínate the excursions, recommended restaurants, brought us coffee with hot milk every morning (very punctual) and coordinated massages for us. Cannot wait to return!

Amazing views in Bariloche

Wonderful apart-hotel in Bariloche. We very much enjoyed the view from the room and the hot tub. They have a great room service option for dinner, too. The location is ideal if you’re looking to spend time near Llou Llou and the city center of Bariloche, as it is in between. Our only complaint was that communication could be improved, but everyone we enountered at the hotel was very nice and helpful.

Beautiful hotel n excellent customer service

Excellent customer service from my questions prior to arriving to every request b4 n during our stay. Our suite Bosque#6 was spacious, very clean n had an amazing view. Entire hotel is lakefront with a $5 can ride into town. All tours picked us up from the hotel. Plenty of hot water n a large jacuzzi in the bathroom. Living room was large enough to host our friends staying in smaller rooms (same hotel) for wine after dinner. Kitchenette had a microwave, dish soap n sponge n plates/glasses etc. bathroom had soap, shampoo/conditioner. Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. Bfast we got room service..had a ton of food n was delivered promptly. Room darkening blinds n a comfortable bed with extra blankets n pillows made for a great night’s sleep. We stayed for 3 nts n wish we could hv stayed much longer.

The suite we rented was lovely, with a spectacular view of the lake. The suite is wonderfully maintained and it has a feel at home ambiance. This is our first time in Argentina and the peolple at Lirolay made us feel so welcome and at home. The night we came in we were tired and hungry. They brought us room service and it was delicious. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Lovely location, wonderful service.

We were really disappointed when we arrived at this hotel. We had booked it for Christmas week, and, even taking into account that it was Christmas week, we had paid a lot of money for it, but it was not anywhere near worth what we had paid for it. The pictures on the website made it look luxurious, but in fact it was very run-down. The first (standard) room we were given was chipped, worn and delapidated - and the smell of blocked drains was over-powering. We complained, and they changed it to their only other available room, which was not a lot better but at least less worn and at least it didn't smell!!
You can't tell in the photos on the web, but the décor is very dated - I guess, years & years ago we would have called it 'shabby chic'...but 'shabby chic' quickly becomes just plain 'shabby' and that is the word which came to mind at the beginning. We both felt very cheated.
Breakfast was very simple with no a lot of choice - but they did put out a good spread on Christmas Day - which we appreciated! All of the staff there were extremely kind and helpful - especially the guys on reception. They tried hard to please us - it was not their fault that the management (who were totally absent) had grossly over-sold this place and over-charged us.

It's a cosy place with beautiful views of the lake. Breakfast was decent and everyone at reception was helpful. Quiet despite being near the road. Blinds good at blocking out light.
Didn't end up trying the pool so can't comment on that. One slight issue is that there wasn't enough hot water to fill the whole hot tub so we had to use it with lukewarm water.

This is a first rate luxury boutique hotel (only 12 rooms), all of which have incredible views of the lake and mountains. The staff is very attentive to guest needs, such as providing restaurant suggestions and making reservations. They also arranged an airport transfer and my wife had an in-suite massage at a very reasonable price. Lastly, their breakfast was delicious offering a variety of options including freshly made omelettes, fruit, cereals, sweet cakes, warm milk (to be mixed with real chocolate or cocoa, coffee and juices. A first rate hotel in a spectacular setting. We truly felt at home and look forward to returning.

This property was exactly what we thought it would be. The apartment had a large bathroom with two sinks and a roll top bath with a shower. There was a very small kitchen facility with two hobs, a fridge and a sink. The utensils were limited but anything extra you needed you just had to ask at reception. The spa bath was in the perfect position with views looking out over the lake towards the mountain. Overall extremely happy with my stay and the staff we’re fantastic organising a rose petal bath for my girlfriends birthday.

Great experience. Better than the most famous Liao Liao. This is right on the Lake. All balconies and bed room windows had phenomenal lake views. Our room had a jacuzzi, cook stove, refrigerator etc microwave and decent wifi. Lucia and Luciano were fantastic at helping and ensuring a great experience.

Over priced and definitely not 4 1/2 star!

The hotel is over priced for what it's offering, the staff is friendly but not professionally trained. The used towels on the floor and bath robe after morning use were not changed into clean dry ones when I returned to the room at night, and wet slippers remained in the tub. The disposable slippers in the room felt like it's been cleaned, dried and reused. Front desk is hard to reach sometimes because they only have one line and was always busy. The water tap over the sink is awfully designed and water spills out all over the table whenever you use it which is quite annoying and messy to experience. The bathtub is not properly cleaned because there is other people's hair. The lock in the door is not very convenient to use although it's a nice idea to keep it retro.

this is a mixed review because the guys who manage the 'hotel' are really sweet and kind and helpful. the grounds are nice, beautiful spot on the lake. this is a cute vacation apartment rental, not a hotel, not a resort - be very clear so you know what you are getting. it's good for a family because the sofa in the living room opens up to a bed (we didn't use it but i thought i'd note it for other potential guests). also, by booking thru this website, they give you the worst room in the house. we stayed in room 1 - ground floor, corner unit with no privacy. there was constant construction going on with workers all around (had to keep the blinds closed which negates the point of being there and the views) and noise. the guys at the front desk offered to change our room for the 2nd night but couldn't for the 1st night. again they were very nice. but also the room was not the room in the pics on hotels.com. there was no jacuzzi by a window with a view, the 'jacuzzi' was our bathtub in the dark corner of the bathroom. terrible internet connection, no coffee machine in the room. but still the views and the guys at the front desk made it a nice stay. good breakfast. good size room because you have a separate living room so it's really a 1 bedroom apartment.

the location is nice but near town and busy. it's a good spot if you want to stay on the main lake. it's on the waterfront with a little private beach area of it's own so that's nice.

We went fly fishing for three days and spent a day in Bariloche and surrounding areas. Rode the tram and chair to the top of Catedral, Visited the Llao-llao and strolled , dined, and shopped in downtown Bariloche. This is a great city, people are really nice and I would like to go back soon.

Bariloche Lirolay Suites Provides a Great Stay

My husband and I enjoyed everything about our stay at the Lirolay located just a short ride out of the city center of Bariloche. The room was very nice and clean with a fantastic water view. The included breakfast was great as well as the room service. There is a fine steak place right across the street as well. The concierges were extremely friendly, knowledgeable about the area and helpful. I would definitely recommend the Lirolay.

Oh my god this has been one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Everything was fantastic, fabulous, magnificent. Service was great. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of homemade and made to order deliciousness. Made to order eggs. Get the room to with the fabulous Jacuzzi right in the middle.The views are breathtaking. Lots of outside space for relaxing and enjoying the view. Definitely will stay here again.

A gem in Bariloche!

Bariloche is an incredible gem on the southern edge of the known universe. It was a surprise to find this wonderful hotel here. The views from our room were world class across a vast, pristine and beautiful lake. The room was clean, comfortable, with a small kitchen (that needs sharper knives and a few more utensils). The key to this hotel was one of its staff who works the front desk. His name is Nicolai and he is an Italian lovingly lost in Bariloche. He was the key to our stay! Fluent in English and knows how to get anything you need...tours, guides, best food etc! I gave him some very difficult challenges and he solved them all! Thanks Nicolai!

The property is beautiful, picturesque and serene. The cleanliness outstanding! All the comforts of home plus. Frederico, the staff member I interacted with, was very knowledgeable about the area, restaurants, shops and available tours. He was also multilingual which made things much easier for me. What a view!

Hotel staff was wonderful, truly a 5 star experience. We were in the senior suite. It was ground level with a patio. The view from every room far out ways any privacy concern you could possibly have due to being on the ground level. Upon arrival, we thought we had a balcony room, seeing we were on the ground floor, and, being the rude, grumpy American (it's a long flight) that I do so well, I complained! They offered to move us up to a balcony room. We looked at the new room, but decided we liked the view from the ground floor better. Keep your PJ's on and sleep with the curtains open, just an amazing way to wake up, what a view! Sitting on the private patio is the best open view their is. Do not miss Will stay again.

A really great place to stay

This is a great place to stay. The staff are incredibly helpful, the rooms delightful and the views over the lake sublime. It is a 10 minutes drive to the centre of Bariloche, which wasn't a problem for us as we had a hire car. But there is a frequent bus service and taxis are not expensive.

Was our best hotel stay in any location. We have traveled Asia, Europe and the US and always stay at 4 and 5 star hotels but this was our best experience ever. This was our first trip to South America. Lirolay was perfect. Location was excellent, all the suites have a lake view which was absolutely breathtaking, and the staff were extremely helpful. Everyday we spoke to the folks at the front desk who helped us with our agenda for the day and bookings for meals. They also provided a lot of helpful tips on whether or not to book tours. We saved hundreds of US dollars based on their recommendations. Matias and Nicholas were amazing. The most helpful and attentive concierges we have ever worked with.

family friendly. one of the best boutique hotels!

WOW! I was nervous since it is not a name brand hotel. We travelled in middle of march. We are a family of four, with 2 kids (18 and 7). That always makes finding a hotel a little complicated. The suites ( which are the price of a regular hotel room) were super spacious. All the activities are close enough. However, I decided to rent a car on the second day, and got one arranged immediately by the staff (automatic shift!!). The setting of the hotel is breathtaking, at the same time very cute. The breakfast is excellent with great yogurts and egg dishes. The staff is one of the best. And, for kids they had DVD player with English movies. The WiFI is included as well.

Lovely place, lovely staff.

We had 2 thoroughly enjoyable nights here. View of the lake from the room and bedroom. Track down to the beach and the fresh air and clear skies of Bariloche was just what we wanted. In room masseuse was great. Delicious breakfast on the terrace. Reception staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Best if you have a car although we made do with premises and local bus.

Lirolay is a gem

Lirolay Suites was truly a gem in every way. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and has an unsurpassed view. It was right on the lake. The sheets and towels were the best. The breakfast was generous and great. The receptionists were very polite, welcoming and helpful and they all spoke English. The waitresses too were very nice and professional. All in all, I give Rilloray suites very high marks.

Was not in the center of Bariloche but was not too far by Taxi. Beautiful , beautiful location. Difficult stairs to get to rooms. Shower over the Jacuzzi which made taking a shower a bit difficult because of the jets beneath your feet. Beautiful Junior suite with great views.

look out for the bathroom linen scam

Nice location with great views. But look out for the bathroom towels and washcloths scam. At checkout, the staff will knock you over racing to your room to count your bathroom towels and hand towels and washcloths. When you come up short, because the maid service the prior day did not furnish the washcloths, the front desk will hold you hostage until you pay the 53 pesos before they let you leave. Never happened to me ever, in 38 years of traveling in 24 countries. And I grew up in Argentina, and have traveled extensively in Argentina. Very Fellini like approach to customer service.

An amazing hotel and location

The hotel is amazing. It is on the lake but a bit far from town. The building itself is a wooden lodge type structure. Our room was huge and we had a great view from the room. The staff was extrememly helpful and assisted with our excursions and dining. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again. Of the six hotels we stayed at on this vacation, this was either the top or second hotel. This was the best as far as the room and the hotel overall.

It's an inexpensive ride to downtown Bariloche. And the service was terrific. I arrived slightly stressed and I was immediately relaxed with fresh orange juice and homemade cookies. Private lakeside beach, jacuzzi in room overlooking lake, and fireplace for winter getaways. Had breakfast served outside on private little patio!

The views over the lake are great from the comfort of your room, good location (10 minutes from Bariloche), nice own beach, highly qualified staff (very good english, they can book almost any activity around Bariloche).

Lovely hotel, lovely staff

Lirolay Suites is definitely one of the best places to stay in tyhe Bariloche area. Situated right on the side of the lake, the views are outstanding - particularly from our room (Room 10, Lirolay Suite) where the large picture window at the end of the bed looked directly out over the lake - what a view to wake up to! The jacuzzi outside on the balconly (unoverlooked) was great, although my one small crticism would be that it took a very long time to fill up. The room was large, with fireplace, and the bed was huge and very comfortable. The staff work brilliantly as a small team, and were extremely helpful, both before arriving at the hotel (via email) and during our stay. Good location, far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Bariloche town, but close to some good restaurants, within walking distance. Thoroughly recommend.

Mathias and Francisco were very helpful with all,our needs from a rental car, to dinner reservations to trip suggestions. The best breakfast we had in any of our hotels including the must more expensive ones.

Lirolay Rocks! All the way from Texas to Argentina

I am not one to take the time and write a review but I can tell you that not only was Bariloche incredible but Lirolay suites made the trip just about perfect. The hotel is located on the coast of the lake which is something I had hoped for. You can wake up in the morning and go down to the water. The hotel room is large, clean, and very comfortable however the number of rooms is small which makes it feel very personal and you get to know other guests and the staff well. Speaking of the hotel staff (all of them), they were extremely helpful in guiding us to the places we should visit and the tours we should take. We found restaurants we would never have visited that were awesome. The tours we took were all great with english speaking guides. There was literally nothing to complain about... I loved every minute of it and would return to Lirolay without thinking twice. Tell them Randy from Texas sent you and they will know what type of adventure you want to go on.

PERFECT, PERFECTO, PERFECTOMUNDO!!!!

Now this was a hotel!!! Better than a hotel actually. The rooms were spectacular, room view incredible and the staff went above and beyond for any and every request. If there could be a perfect hotel experience, this is it!!! We were blown away by the outside of the hotel and even more so when we got to our room. Room service and available staff 22 hours out of the day. And they make every effort to make your stay perfect, AND THEY SUCCEED! I could go on forever, but will wrap it up in one word. PERFECT! The next best thing is where they get their bedside chocolates from, Rapa Nui. Make sure you go into town and have dessert and coffee there and grab some chocolate to go. I recommend their mixed berry tart. Like Lirolay \"PERFECT\". I want to live at Lirolay. And the price is incredibly reasonable. I'd pay 3 times what I did.

Simply EXCELLENT!!!

Simply Excellent!!! We just spend some part of our honey moon there and we are very satisfied of the hotel
The location is not too close but not too far from the downtown. Its very easy and cheap to move into the little town.
The hotel room was georgeus, we stayed on a \"Lago Suite\" and the view was amazing, the room its too confort. You can have and excellent view of the lake from your bed and the rest of the suite.
For sure that I recommend this hotel for couples!

The hotel was located 7 km outside of town and right on the lake. This made it a beautiful, convenient and quiet location. The room was actually a suite, complete with kitchen- dining- living room, separate bedroom, both with picture windows of the amazing lake, and modern bath. We even had our own balcony. The hotel staff was fabulous and helpful. They arranged our car rental, delivered right to the hotel (cheaper than at the airport or big chains), gave us recommended routes , restaurants, etc. The hotel is only 5 years old, clean, beautifully maintained. Highly, highly recommend!!

Absolutely Spectacular

Absolutely Spectacular. Rooms, we had three, were all different, all unique and all very clean and well laid out. The difference in this Hotel though is the staff. Hard working hustlers doing everything they could to make our stay special, and they did. Breakfast was exceptional, Happy Hour fun, and the location and hotel off the map spectacular. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

Fomos muito bem recebidos, o recepcionista foi muito solícito em toda a nossa estadia, nos deu dicas, estava realmente preocupado em nos oferecer a melhor experiência.
A localização é ótima, super tranquilo de pegar Uber e ponto estratégico para quando a excursão passava nos pegar para o passeio.

Excelente hospedagem em Bariloche

O hotel é excelente para famílias com crianças pequenas e também para casais. Os funcionários são muito atenciosos e estão sempre dispostos a ajudar no que for necessário. Reservaram nosso transfer de ida e volta do aeroporto e o motorista (remis) foi extremamente pontual. O café da manhã (pago à parte) é excelente: pedimos o express e estava sempre delicioso, com pães e croissants quentinhos. As instalações são bem limpas, e você pode contratar o serviço de limpeza e de troca de roupas de cama e de banho à parte, conforme a sua necessidade. Achamos isso muito bom, porque é uma limpeza bem completa e você pode escolher o dia e o horário mais conveniente. Se não for necessário em certo dia, é só não pedir. Consideramos uma excelente opção de hospedagem em Bariloche
