Breakfast had a good selection of items, room was a little tired and warm. Think the AC had been turned off due to being later in the year, we had it turned on but no cold which left us with a very warm room. Parking available on the street, €1.60 covers until 11am then €1.60 for two more. Better value than hotel (€16/day) or nearby public (€22/day). 20 minute walk to old centre but prepare for hills! 10 minutes to San Francisco at which has plenty of food options.

Lovely hotel and very friendly & helpful staff. I ate here both nights - first night a la carte, second the set menu. The a la carte food is fantastic but the set menu was just average. Room a decent size, though bathroom could do with an update. Bit noisy from corridor, but overall a good hotel in a fantastic and much overlooked city.

Best hotel of our trip.

It was without a doubt the best hotel of the entire two week trip! Excellent and friendly check in, the lad even took the time to explain some Spanish to us! The room was well decorated and comfortable and the bathroom plenty big enough. We dined in the cafe both in the evening and the morning and the food and staff were excellent. The young lady serving even did me a huge cappuccino in a pint glass! Perfect. Parking was under the hotel and half price for a motorbike. Walking into town and to the cathedral was easy, 5 minutes and 20 minutes respectively.

There was nothing not to like. Even the price was the cheapest we had all trip so the value for money is fantastic!

Always a good place to stay on our way to or from the ferry ports. Hotel is in walking distance of the town. Secure parking is available, though is not free, (however it is half price for a motorbike!) Assorted bites to eat are supplied with the beers, so all very good.

Good for a short stay

This is a nice hotel and I would stay again. However, the rooms were too hot for the weather. The excuse was that the heating went on at a certain date and the air conditioning had to be switched off. I cannot see why this bureaucracy could not be overruled.

Otherwise, the bar was very pleasant and friendly. The lady working there, named Barbara, was a delight to chat with and she gave me a book about Argentina, for which I am most grateful. For such kindness, I would strongly recommend the hotel and its staff.

Hotel was central to Cuenca & met all our requirements. This was our 2nd stay at this hotel. Reception was very helpful & friendly & made us feel a valued customer. Hotel offered reservered underground carparking at a cost which we took advantage of.
Breakfast offer was extensive with both hot & cold food.
Hotel central to Cuenca & was easy to locate with many nearby restaurants & tapas bars.

The hotel is old and you can feel it. it is located close to the park and not too far from the old city, so location is good and quite. it has a restaurant and a cafeteria. I am not sure why it got 4 stars but the price was good and stay was ok.

Fair Value for Cost

The town of Cuenca is larger than expected. We chose this hotel because of its location advertisement. While it provides fair value for the cost, we expected this hotel to be closer to the \"sights\". Though in a good location across the street from a park along the river, it was quite a hike up steep streets to get into the older part of town. We enjoy walking, but would have enjoyed being closer into the heart of the old town. Otherwise, the hotel was great except for the noise of a party on the first night. As the hotel has no air conditioning, we had to leave the windows open and the noise from loud and boisterous smokers outside came right into our 3rd floor room. After we complained, the hotel was willing to move us to another room. At 11pm, we were ready to get in bed and did not want to pack up and move to another room. The staff did get the noisy group to quiet down a bit. The included breakfast was also a bit disappointing and did not compare well with the breakfasts provided by the hotels we stayed at in Madrid and Seville.

We chose this hotel to visit the old town and the location is good for this plus easy to walk into the centre of the new town too. We walked up to the old town one day and the next we used the local bus so getting around isn't a problem, The hotel looks quite old and out dated but we were very comfortable and everything was clean and worked well. We ate all our meals out so didn't try the hotel restaurant.

Central to where I needed to be.

The hotel was acceptable. The elevators were odd though plus my hotel door keys kept on losing the code (I had to have them reprogram 4 times in 6 days).

Room temperature control was odd as well - no way to adjust the temperature / it was either too hot or too cold (no Goldilocks zone). The only settings useful were either fan/heat/cool but no controls on much heat/cold.

The staff were helpful, even if I spoke very little Spanish. Amused and pleased with my attempts to both speak Spanish and use the Google translate app.

A reasonable choice in a lovely town

Cuenca is a good place to stop, whether going north or south from the port. The hotel is a reasonable choice, a short walk from the astonishing old town and easy to reach by car. The hotel is comfortable and effective, the room was spacious, the service good and there was absolutely nothing to complain about. But the hotel, and its immediate setting, are without charm.

This hotel is conviently located near the Calle Carreteria (cafe's & shopping) and Old Town, the city's primary attraction. Front desk service was good, the rooms small but well maintained. Parking at the hotel (13 euro/night) is almost mandatory given the city's parking options. There is also a very nice park across from the hotel. We rated this a 3 star hotel

3 días en familia en el hotel Torremangana

La chica del check in fue seca. Se hubiera apreciado una sonrisa o un poco más de amabilidad nada más llegar de un viaje largo. Vinimos en coche y no lo pudimos dejar en el garaje. Se nos dijo que teníamos que haber reservado la plaza. Tuvimos que ir al Leroy Merlín para cargar el coche con los niños y aparcarlo en la calle - por suerte había bastante hueco.

Nada más llegar la bañera estaba sucia, tenía arena, marcas de lejía mal limpiada y la alcachofa llena de cal, con lo que el agua salía como un aspersor muy fuerte y lo tuve limpiar yo después de que viniera la chica a limpiarlo express. La caja fuerte estaba cerrada con lo que tuvimos que llamar para que lo abrieran porque si no se ponía a pitar.

Cosas extra: se apreciaría tener un reloj y una caja de kleenex en lugar de la cajita con el pack de pañuelos metidos (50 pasos para sacar un pañuelo) para mayor comodidad, y un cepillo de dientes.

Las camas son muy cómodas, las sabanas eran suaves y el aire funcionaba divinamente.

El buffet del desayuno normalito, y el restaurante fenomenal. Nos atendieron siempre súper bien y la comida estaba mejor de lo que esperábamos.

El cargador que hay en el garaje para coche eléctrico solo funcionaba cada x tiempo. Se apagaba solo después de unos minutos así que fue bastante incómodo depender de él.

Muy mala actitud del personal, me dijeron que el estacionamiento estaba lleno cuando yo lo reservé porque tenía parking. El desayuno muy pobre y feo. Apagan el aire acondicionado en todo el hotel que porque ya cambio el clima y se sentía súper caliente el cuarto.

Het personeel in professioneel en behulpzaam, het is een prachtig hotel dat de voorzieningen allemaal goed voor elkaar heeft.
Wat alleen vervelend is dat ik digitaal iets moest tekenen waar een aantal pagina’s tekst aan gekoppeld was!
Lezen kost veel tijd en is daardoor een verstorende factor.
Het lijkt op grote elektronica organisaties als Apple en Gougle.
Beste vervelend, maar verder een aanrader.

We zijn verrast in de mooie stad Cuenca! Het hotel ligt in een woonwijk van de nieuwe stad op loopafstand van het oude, toeristische gedeelte.

Es un hotel que esta bastante bien, pero hay un par de cosas que no nos ha gustado.
Una es la ruidera que hacia la cisterna del inodoro, cuando le das al agua de nuestra habitación de de las otras porque te despertaba a
mitad de la noche cuando lo hacían.
Otra es la desorganización de la entrada con el coche hasta la recepcion, pues dejaban coches aparcados bloqueando el paso.
