They had an event during our stay, which led to waiting in the parking lot for an hour to find parking. Pool was closed. Shower head broken.
Place is very peaceful and serene. Very clean and staff helpful. Close to being an excellent hotel, just need to tie up some loose ends.

Cancelled my booking the evening before we were due to check in. Expedia sent an email. After a really long hard day of travel, to find out when we arrived at the hotel it was closed. Thats when I read the email. Really hard to read emails when riding a motorcycle across France & Spain. But hey, there are other hotels and websites

Great except for the music in the foyer that could be hear gently weeping through the bedroom walls during siesta. Perfect other than that. Personally we loved the fact that it was a family friendly hotel with lots of kids running around - also dog friendly too 😊😘

Don’t waste your time or money.
What a mistake to stay here. The rooms are awful: stench of moist, a wall A/C unit to heat the room was noisy and had to be turned off at night due to its noise level. The room was depressing, and the bathroom was straight out of the 1960’s. It was disgusting. The front desk person was rude and at checkout they even tried charging us for breakfast, which we didn’t have.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The hotel was renovated beautifully and sympathetically. The room was a mezzanine and suited our family well. We enjoyed the pool also. We were travelling with our dog and she was made welcome.

A lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings

The hotel was lovely. A mix of traditional Spanish with very modern. Some rooms opening out onto the gallery above the central quadrangle complete with fountain where dinner is set and there is a bar for al fresco drinks. The pool is really big - open 11am till 8pm. We are more 10am to 7pm swimmers but life in Spain is generally later than home. The staff were amazing. So helpful to us two OAPs trying to get by with my schoolgirl Spanish! All the Reception staff, though, spoke perfect English. The setting of the hotel is beautiful - well into the rocky gorges of the surrounding national park, 7km outside Cuenca. We had a hire car but a taxi to the new town or high old town is 10 euros and taxis seemed to be plentiful. Really good breakfast however the lunch and dinner menu was rather limited. It didn't change during the week as far as we could tell - the daily set lunch or dinner seemed to be choices from the regular menu and didn't seem to be something new each day. However, the menu didn't have an English translation and my phone was out of action for Google translate! I may be doing the chef a disservice! The old town of Cuenca and the Cuidad Encantada- a fascinating geological site (about 30 miles away) which costs 4 euros to enter for the 3km walk round extraordinary rock formations and boulders that are millions of years old, are well worth visiting. We would like to return to Cuenca and to the hotel one day.

2 night stopover from Portugal to Valencia

hotel has recently been renovated ,though not quite finished yet.we stayed 2 nights Friday and Saturday ,we had a very nice room with views over the garden area .The amenities are good but the staff need to be a bit more friendly ,they did seem to be a bit harrast at times .the restaurant was good value for money .Breakfast could be improved by having a proper coffee machine instead of thermal jugs of milk and coffee .We didn't see any tea making facilities either.Nice hotel beautifull position for walking in the country.

Perched high above Cuenca with a rural feel

Place has been recently refurbished with brand new everything

Yes, you need a car to access this hotel, or catch a taxi. But you are so far from everything better if you have a car

Previous reviews for this hotel whined about the noise of farm animals nearby (get over yourselves).
Now with the thick glass and shutters you can barely hear a peep at night

Reception staff were friendly enough, but the bar/restaurant guy was a legend

I'm sure this hotel will become more high end and slightly less affordable in coming years

We had a good size room for 4, clean but everything was really old... They are trying to improve by doing renovation... we were woke up by hammering at 8 am... !! Not well appreciated when your are on holidays in Spain. The breakfast buffet was ok but products could really be better. The sports area - mini golf and pool - needs improvements too... not well maintained.

Good value for money, ideal stop for a road trip

Placed in the middle of beautiful nature with the views of the mountains, still close from Cuenca (10 minutes).

We stopped here during our road trip from Barcelona to Motril in the south of Spain. It was perfectly located, close to Cuenca for a day trip.

Our day ended in this very comfortable hotel after a day in Teruel and Albarracin and the most spectacular ride through the Serranía de Cuenca.

The check-in was fast and the staff very friendly. Utmost recomendable!!

Como mosquiteras ya que entran moscas y abejas si abres la ventana y la verdad es que apetece abrirla para que entre el frescor de la noche.
No hay minibar para guardar tus cosas y lo quieres vale 3€ por día.
Los empleados muy amables y el servicio un poco lento pero no nos olvidemos que estamos para relajarnos así que vamos no me voy a quejar por ello. Si que recomienda la pizza para los niños está especialmente WAW….

El hotel es acogedor en medio de la naturaleza. La decepcion fue que la piscina no funcionaba, solo esta abueeta en Julio y Agosto y eso mo lo dicen a priori.
El cargador electrico para el coche solo hay uno y carga muy lento(5kw/h) lo que hace que jo ae puedan alternar varios coches el mismo dia

Estuvimos 2 noches muy a gusto, la familia, en 1habitacion Premium, con 2 camas de matrimonio. Las instalaciones estan muy bonitas y reformadas. Hay 1 salon para disfrutar con mesa de billar, mesa de.ping pong y 1 futbolin. El desayuno bufet es bastante completo y la amabilidad de las recepcionistas, hicieron la estancia muy agradable.

En general bien, pero tengo dos quejas:
1) No se puede comer ni desayunar en el jardín del Hotel ya que hay innumerables avispas y son muy molestas (tampoco el Hotel pone medidas para controlarlas como poner trampas como hacen otros establecimientos con el mismo problema).
2) Fuimos con un perrito, y en el primer desayuno nos hicieron desayunar en el jardín (con las avispas) y en el segundo desayuno había perros (más de dos) desayunando dentro de las instalaciones ¿por que un día no dejan y otros si?

Points positifs: la taille de la chambre familiale avec une mezzanine, le lieu, la piscine.
Points à revoir : les cafards qui sortent de l'evacuation de la douche, le petit dejeuner peu qualitatif, la chambre faite en fin d'après-midi.

Pour conclure cela reste un bon séjour malgré tout.

Me gustó el entorno y la tranquilidad y lo que no me gustó fué que había mucho ruido en las habitaciones desde las zonas comunes y entre dormitorios, los baños con polvo generalizado y las paredes manchadas en la pintura, la wifi la deben mejorar, nosotros allí nos quedábamos sin cobertura incomunicados.

Sehr schönes und ruhig gelegenes Hotel

Das Hotel liegt ca. 7 km von Cuenca entfernt. Das Auto kann kostenlos vor dem Hotel geparkt werden. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Ein wenig Spanischkenntnisse sind allerdings hilfreich. Das große Zimmer und Bad waren sehr sauber, die Betten bequem. Aufgrund der Lage ist es absolut ruhig. Das Frühstücksbuffet war gut. Wir haben abends zwei Mal das Menu del Dia gegessen und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Bedienung im Restaurant ist außerordentlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der große Pool war im Mai leider noch geschlossen. Von dem Hotel aus kann man sehr schön nach Cuenca entlang einer Bewässerungsleitung laufen. Der Weg beginnt ca. 200m rechts vom Hotel in Richtung Cuenca. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder

El hotel es un antiguo monasterio reformado, todo el complejo es muy agradable y tiene un montón de servicios a disposición de los clientes.

Muy buen sitio para ir en familia porque los y las niñas difrutan un montón de sus instalaciones, piscina, mini golf, campo de fútbol, de balon mano, tenis...

La habitación cuádruple tiene dos alturas y es muy espaciosa. No tiene aire axondiciionado, pero no nos hizo falta, ademas riene un gran ventilador para los momentos de màs calor.

Una escapada perfecta

Fuimos una sola noche para una escapada con los niños y la elección de este hotel fue un acierto absoluto. Habitación en dos pisos que los niños disfrutaron a tope, por un precio fantástico. Cenamos y desayunamos en el hotel, también por un precio más que razonable y estaba todo buenísimo. El personal del hotel muy amable y atento en todo momento. A 10 minutos en coche de la ciudad, con la garantía de aparcar en el hotel sin problemas y sin coste. Para repetir sin duda.

hemos ido el puente de octubre y pese a que estaba lleno lo tenian perfectamente organizado,el desayuno no lo pueden hacer bufet pero tienen la carta con todo y te lo sirven mejor que si tu te lo sirvieras,muy bueno.La cena un menu estupendo a muy buen precio.muy buena carta de vinos.las instalaciones deportivas muy bien.Todo nos ha gustado.Volveremos.
