Nice place to access the town with limited driving

It was a convenient stop for our trip. Laundry service close by. Town of Ourense was walkable with a few attractions. Was disappointed that bridge is only lit up on the weekends.

Very friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was very good. Centrally located. Garage right next door was a plus. Very clean room. The only negative was the very slippery bathtub. No tub mat but definitely one was needed. Very fair price.

Stayed here for a week, and had an excellent time. The room was just as advertised, clean, spacious and comfortable. All staff members were fantastic; very polite and kind. Lots of wardrobe space. The area was great; very convenient and walkable to all the parts we wanted to go and close to the University. Wouldn't hesitate to book here again. Thank you!

The hotel is in a great location, the room very comfortable and clean, breakfast is minimal but ok. the biggest problem is the parking, I did not have a big car but go down to the lower level is a real struggle - I would reserve the three spots on the first floor for bigger car.

Exactly what was expected from the hotel pictures. The weekend breakfast hours of 8-11 isn't great is you want a head start. Parked on the street right outside hotel with no problems. Was great value for the price and would stay again if the opportunity comes up.

My room smelled overwhelmingly of cigarettes. Others on my tour and the nice woman at the front desk concurred. I opened the lovely windows and thought it would be ok. But it was embedded in the pillows and blanket. Everytime you turned in bed stale cigarette cloud. I politely requested another room but they were full. I politely requested a $20 reduction in my costs, they said the manager would get back to me. They offered it for my \"next visir\" which is not suitable since this was a once in a lifetime visit to Spain. Very frustrating.

A good hotel for short stay

This hotel certainly met our needs for a clean and friendly hotel that is centrally located for the center of Ourense, Spain. The rooms are very basic, even minimalist is their decor and furnishing, so they are not appealing for staying in the room except to sleep.

The parking is a somewhat difficult matter. We were told that we could park in the same building for 12 euro per night, but that some of the levels were not available to us and that our car might have difficulty making the turns to get in and out of the building. The receptionist recommended that we use on-street parking, which we did. We highly recommend that option. There were open parking spaces on the same street and there is no charge from 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. or from 2-4 p.m. So, it was just the other daylight times that required paying 1.20 euro for 2 hours. Instead of spending 24 euro to park in hotel's cramped building for 2 days we spent about 8 euros on the street, near the hotel.

Clean, modern, convenient, good value.

We stayed in Ourense for 5 days, visiting our daughter. The Cardinal Queveda was clean, modern, comfortable, very quiet. The room was reasonably sized and the bathroom huge and well equipped. The hotel is conveniently placed for the centre, but also conveniently near to main routes in and out of the city. We felt that this hotel is mainly for business visitors. No real dining opportunities, just snacks Monday to Thursday evenings. Breakfast expensive and poor. However, Ourense has many good restaurants and cafes. Hotel parking is expensive, but not many other options around nearby.The corridors and rooms are decorated rather darkly for our taste.
Overall, very good value.

Nice hotel in Ourence

Stayed here on our visit to Ourence. Hotel was clean, modern and well appointed. We had a car and were able to park adjacent to the hotel. Hotel was close to restaurants and a short drive away from the hot springs which were wonderful.

Seria bueno comentar a las recamaristas que hagan menos ruido, hablando, moviendo bolsas con botellas, podrían ser mas cuidadosas con ese tema. Fue en tercer piso. Lo demás muy bien

Il faut payer le parking souvent, mais vous pouvez payer 12 Euros et parquer dans l'hôtel. Moi j'ai preféré de payer régulièrement 2x1.5€ le matin et 2x 1.5€ le soir. Si je restais plus longtemps j'installerait l' app. c'est plus pratique

Muy recomendable

Prácticamente a cinco minutos a pie de la zona del centro. No realizamos fotografías, pero las que anuncian en la web son fieles a la realidad. Hotel e instalaciones modernas, bien cuidadas. La habitación muy amplia, cama muy cómoda, la almohada muy fina para nuestro gusto.
Como punto negativo, nos incomodó el exceso de calefacción ya que hacía demasiado calor.
En proporción con la habitación, la televisión es pequeña. A nosotros en particular es algo a lo que no prestamos atención ya que pasamos la mayor parte del tiempo fuera del hotel, pero puede ser importante para otras personas.

Not impressed. The staff did their job but nothing beyond that. We had water leaking from the bathroom light fixture, and the only response was, ‘maintenance isn’t here yet’. They gave us extra towels to mop the floor. When we brought it up again at check-out and mentioned we expected to be moved to another room, we received nothing but a shrug and not even an apology. The parking bays are extremely narrow. The view from the balcony was extremely ugly. Overall, it’s an okay hotel, but not worth the money, especially with such poor service.
