Our room 806 had a strong sewage smell. Coming from the bathroom. We advised the staff and all they did was to put a refreshener and that did not last.The smell persisted. The bed linen did not fit the mattress, so the sheets would not stay on the mattress. Breakfast average, coffee was good.

Good location, friendly staff, probably smallest room I’ve had so far in Japan. It was fairly clean, however I’m not sure if my room had some sort of hole somewhere, but I kept finding these little flies in the bathroom and around my room. I must’ve caught about 10-15+ during my 3 night stay.

OK, very good location

The room was OK, small size but enough for what it's used. We didn't have any problems and the staff were helpful. The bed was too firm, as it tends to be the case in most places in Japan. For breakfast there wasn't any western option, it was all rice, noodles, meat, etc. I understand that this is how they eat breakfast in Japan and I don't mind eating some of it but given that hotels are for tourists, it would be good to have 1 or 2 cereal, a fruit salad and some pastries at least. It was at walking distance to Himeji Castle and a shopping centre. We appreciated the free goodies, including a coffee/tea machine by reception.

It was a great midway point between Himeji station and Himeji castle. There is an outdoor mall you can walk through to get to it with a tone of great options for food and shopping. Very nice room.

The hotel is an easy walk from Himeji station. Even though I arrived shortly after midnight, the staff were helpful and courteous. I found the room to be clean and comfortable with all required amenities. I speak a little Japanese, so I am unsure about other languages spoken by the staff. In truth, I can't think of anything negative about my stay.

Nice, spacious room. Comfortable enough bed. Window opens, which helps to cool off the overheated rooms when winter hearing never ends—but the noise from a squeaky HVAC unit outside was super annoying. The roof deck was a nice touch. Super convenient location.

It located just in between Himeji castle and Himeji station. Shopping centers, supermarket were within short distance.

The hotel was clean and the staff was very polite.

The bathroom was spacious. The two double beds occupied the room and space for luggage was a bit tight. The closet was a bit narrow for winter coats.

Other than that, it's an excellent place for tourists.

Arrived late for check in with permission and our room was very hot, no air was on Rolland the fridge was turned down that it was not cold. After an hour things got better. Also an amazing view of the castle from our floor

Good hotel to stay 1 night to visit the castle, super close to the castle and 10 -12 min walk from station. Tiny rooms as everywhere in Japan, and Asian breakfast mediocre quality - I should have just gone to Starbucks or coffee shop nearby. Overall ok to stay 1 night!

Stayed at this hotel for one night and it was pretty average. Do not reccomend buying the 'buffet breakfast' not worth the money as the food is bland, cold and not very appetising. Walk to Himeji Station, Himeji castle, tourist spots is very convenient. Overall, hotel was ok for one night.

The Hotel is located close to the railway station, which makes it convenient if you stay for just 1 night.

Staff was very friendly, hotel room was clean and bathroom spacious, which is not always the case in Japan.

Excellent location close to Himeji Castle

The hotel has a superb location, just 1/4 mile from the entrance of Himeji Castle and adjacent to the main shopping districts of Himeji. It is approximately 1 mile from the train station - a long walk with luggage, but still doable. The room was extremely clean and functional, but very small - smaller than many comparable rooms in Tokyo, so that it was tough to have one's suitcase open and open the door at the same time! I was by myself, and it would be extremely cramped for two people - the bed only accesses from one side. Overall, though, the price and location made it just right.

Great hotel with prime location

The hotel was an easy walk from the Himeji train station through a nice shopping district. Very close to the Himeji Castle as well (~10 min walk). When we arrived, the staff was super friendly and very respectful (almost too respectful). They helped us find a great ramen shop for dinner as well. There were 3 of us, and they didn't have any rooms available for all of us, so we split into a single and a double. The single was larger than the double, which was odd. But both rooms were very nice and had nice private bathrooms. Laundry facilities were decent, but the dryer barely did anything to dry the clothes.

This place was a pleasant surprise. My room was small (as I had expected) but comfortable, well appointed and clean. It is a 10 minute walk to the train station and a 5 minute walk to Himeji castle. The only negative was our bathroom had a very slight odor of sewage. Barely noticeable, but still there. We closed the door and had a great time in Himeji.

Das gebuchte Zimmer war sehr klein, die Quadratmeterangabe scheint das Bad mit einzubeziehen, so blieben als Bewegungsfläche ca. 5-6 qm übrig bleiben. so eignet sich das Zimmer nur zur Übernachtung, aber nicht zu längeren Aufenthalt. Ansonsten ist die Sauberkeit gut und das Bad ebenfalls ok. Personal freundlich und das Frühstück mit hauptsächlich japanischer Auswahl, aber guter Qualität. Unsere Bezeichnung für die Unterkunft:“Bonsai-Palast“.
Die Lage zwischen Bahnhof und Burg ist sehr gut. Unbedingt die unterirdische Passage „Festa“ vor dem Bahnhof mit unzähligen kleinen Restaurants und Läden besuchen!

姫路観光に便利な場所にある。
周辺にレストラン、居酒屋さん、ラーメン屋さん等があって飲食に困ることも無いしお買い物にも便利。
駅からちょっと離れているけれど姫路城には近いし駅からホテルまでの移動もお店見ながら移動できるので楽しい。
ホテルの部屋も必要なものは一通り揃っている。
朝食ビュッフェの品数はやや少なめだが姫路名物も食べられるので良い。

姫路駅から少し歩きますが、その分姫路城が近いです。
朝食付きにしましたがこれが良く、豊かな一日の始まりとなりました。
ベッドやバスルームも快適で、動画対応のテレビも良かったですが、初日にエアコンを起動させたら水が噴き出してびっくりしました。（初回だけですが）

駅から歩けない距離ではなかったけど遠かった。
駐車場が付いてると思い込んでいた。駐車場代1日700円で停められると思った、何回も出し入れできると思い込んでいた。もっと駐車場のこと詳しく書いてほしかった。

駅からはやや遠いですが姫路城からはいちばん近いホテルではないでしょうか。部屋のトイレが流れないというトラブルはありましたがすぐに、他の広めの部屋に変えてもらえました。部屋着や歯ブラシを含めアメニティはすべてフロントから持っていくシステムで、エコを考えれば好感を持てます。部屋着は肌触りが良く気持ち良く休めました。朝食は品数は多くはないですがどれも美味しくいただけました。総じてシンプルながら値段を考えれば十分満足できました。
