Lovely rustic Thai hideaway

Perfect little hideaway on the north of Koh Samui. Stayed here for 5 nights with our teen daughters, had a 2 bedroom set-up with a very generous pool! Immaculately clean, and comfy beds. Onsite restaurant is great. We did take a taxi to Fisherman’s Village most nights for our dinner / meals, but it’s only a 10 mins drive and about 300 baht.
Seven-11 just a few mins walk away.
There’s about 12 cottages, and a huge shared pool which was almost always empty.
Big Buddha and CabyBara Cafe are a mere 10 mins walk away.

- Comfortable room with a huge bathtub.
- Restaurant offers a great sunset view and lovely live music during the evening.
- Helpful night staff.
- Nice private and common pools.

Cons:
- Day staff can be cheeky.
- Restaurant food quality is inconsistent; room service is average (e.g., cold bad tea).
- Lack of a bell outside the villa leads to unexpected deliveries by the staff by knocking at the bedroom window.
- Encountered two large spiders in the room, which live beside the bathtub in the rocks making the bathtub unusable.
- The beach accessible from the property is almost unusable.

The property was quite quirky and quiet which was nice. We stayed for a while so we ended up noticing how much work it needed. We had room service most of the time. The breakfast is nice the first day and gets really average every other day. We had a meal in the restaurant which was microwaved and really below average. While the air con leaked huge puddles all over the floor - from the ceiling - right next to us. Mosquitoes galore. They also sprayed all the rooms while we stayed there and we had to pretty much run next door because the poison was overwhelming. We were warned about it - but then there was a rainbow oil film on the pools so it made swimming feel gross. Overall the service was great but this place needs some freshening up and the food needs to be better. Views are gorgeous and it is relaxing - just not very glamorous

I stayed here for three nights in August with my boyfriend. Upon arrival we were greeted and checked in pretty quickly. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was wonderful and always went out of their way to accommodate anything we asked for. The property is quiet and relaxing, but super close to everything. The breakfast was very delicious and the drinks by the pool were great. This was my favorite stay out of the four hotels we stayed at while visiting Thailand!

What an amazing villa! the room was absolutely gorgeous and the views by the sea just mesmerising. From the moment i arrived i was well looked after - from the shuttle pick up at the airport to the check in at reception. The staff were super friendly and always helpful. The breakfast choices were really good too. I felt like i was in paradise. The only thing i will say is that the spa was overpriced, i had a two hour treatment and i wasn't impressed especially considering the amount i paid. The therapist was lovely as a person but not great at massages unfortunately. Otherwise everything about this place was AMAZING!

Stayed at Tango Luxe for 5 nights. Staff were amazing, the service couldn’t be any better, the rooms were super clean and the breakfast option was just amazing. The one negative I would give is the bed was too soft for my liking (prefer a slightly firmer style). For those who want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the main beach and tourist hub it is perfect. Best sunset from the pool area as well. Highly recommend Tango Luxe for couples who just want to relax.

The Villas are in great condition, well maintained and tastefully appointed. We had a 2 bedroom villa and the pool was nice and clean. We were generally positively surprised by the condition of the rooms

The only thing I would say is that the rooms were not cleaned as often as we'd like... sometimes we had to request them to clean while we were going to be out

The restaurant actually makes decent food - expectations were not too high bt teh food was actually good... and they do room service too, which was good as well. Breakfast also gets a thumbs up

Entrance to the hotel is a bit underwhelming and the hotel overlooks the sea... b(but not really on a beach...) so if youre expecting this to be on the beach where u can walk and kids can play, thats not this property.

This is good if you want to relax in the villas and enjoy the pools and do a bit of sightseeing + beaches elsewhere

Amazing place

The private Villa is beautiful we had planned for 3 nights in this place but after the first day of amazing customer service and amazing view from the pool, we booked an extra 2 nights in a different room. For a total of 5 nights. The rooms were very clean. The staff was amazing. The food from the restaurant was also very good (we ate there at least once everyday). You get complementary breakfast everyday you are there. It is all fresh made. I definitely recommend this place if you want peace and relaxation in Koh Samui.

Stayed for 7 nights in Sala suite with plunge pool and had a fantastic time from check in to check out. Room is good size with comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Plunge pool was ideal. Good choice for breakfast which was delivered to your room at time of your choosing. Main pool area was very nice with plenty of beds and excellent service from staff at pool restaurant. Views were lovely. Food and drinks in both restaurants was varied and reasonably priced. Hotel is in a quiet area but has restaurants (\"stop at Sopa\" is very close and has great food at good price) and supermarket nearby. All staff were wonderful. Excellent location for relaxing break. Night market at Fisherman's village is worth a visit. The hotel also provides cycles and kayaks for use by guests. Area in front of pool area is more of a sand bar rather than beach but is still a pleasant area. When at pool area, you are aware of occasional flights but they are not a disturbance. I would recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic time in this beautifull villa everything and more was in the villa for you to use the villa was immaculately clean on arrival and also when you wanted the room serviced the staff from the receptionists to the cleaners to the barmen , gardeners , waiters etc are all exceptional , breakfast was served to you every morning in the villa what a fantastic touch the addition of the plunge pool was excellent in the hot weather , I would strongly recommend this hotel and will DEFINATELY be back , a little bit of paradise in kho Samui , I can't thank TANGO LUXE VILLA staff highly enough for their hard work and making our holiday special thanks guys Eddie + David ( villa Lal mirchi June 2018 )

Beautiful quiet space not too far from anything, and walking distance to Big Buddha. Only about 400 baht for taxi to Chaweng or airport, but if you walk down the street a little there were generally tuk tuks that would do for cheaper. They also offered a free shuttle once a day to and from Chaweng.

We enjoyed the private pool but also made use of the main pool next to the bar. Everything was in good condition and the staff were helpful. They helped us book all of our activities and transport, and if we needed anything extra they were happy to accommodate. On site spa was definitely more expensive than some other places in Koh Samui but very good quality and still much cheaper than treatments at home.

The restaurant food was pretty decent and not over priced. We had one issue with bugs but that was resolved promptly. The complimentary breakfast was nice to wake up to, you could choose what you wanted each day and when you wanted it delivered to the room.

Note the private beach is muddy and not for swimming, but it's still lovely to look at while you cool off in the main pool with a cocktail in hand.

Would definitely recommend for couples looking to relax and stay outside of the smell and noise of the city.

The receptionists were very helpful in recommending sightseeing spots for us, not only those mainstream activities but also those that are more local. They have good breakfast choices and I had a different dish every day while I stayed there. The swimming pool was clean and most of the time you could enjoy the whole pool yourself as there weren't many guests in the hotel. They also had free kayaking service for your choice and you can have a journey to the big Buddha and beyond. The restaurant was a bit overpriced compared to the ones we had in town or fisherman's village though. Overall it's a pleasant experience and we love the relaxing environment there!

Peace in paradise

This hotel is lovely.The rooms are big,clean,well equipped.The hotel grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The hotel is only a short walk from restaurants( only a short walk in heat ).The food is excellent as are the staff which is the hotels real strength.They can't do enough for you but are not invasive and appear like magic if you need anything. For the first time ever I didn't want to go home. Recommend this hotel totally

Beautiful resort with fantastic members of staff who are friendly professional and nothing is too much! The only criticism is there were bed bugs in our villa. I couldn't sleep in the bed as I felt like there was something in the bed my partner told me I was being silly but on our last day he was smothered in bed bug bites. They take 3-4 days to come out and are incredibly itchy.

There are two things I would like to point out.
The. breakfast especially the Chinese dim sum us too salty and not up to standard.
Lunch and dinner are good.

Beautiful private villas. Our villa was enormous, we loved how much space and privacy we had. The staff were wonderful and very helpful (though sometimes no one was at the pool bar but would come if you called). Quiet, gorgeous grounds, we loved our private pool but also sitting out at the \"public\" infinity pool- we were usually the only ones out there anyways. Cocktails were great at the pool bar. TV has hundreds of free HD movies. Try to get out to the pool area during sunset its stunning. Was a great was to relax at the end of our honeymoon. Highly recommend.

Beautiful environment and extremely friendly and helpful staff. In villa pools are lovely. A little off the beaten track but there is a nice cheap restaurant just a few metres further up the road. Beach not suitable for swimming but hotel also has a beautiful big shared pool which is hardly used due to all the private pools and nice hammocks etc. Some of the room furnishings are a little dated / quirky but rooms are very comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay at tango lux. The staff were very welcoming on arrival and helpful through out our stay. Even helping us arrange a Thai cooking class at the last minute. The location was perfect for us, a quiet area out of the main hustle and bustle. Walking distance to the big Buddha and Temple with a complementary van to town and back if needed. The resturant for dinner was fab, highly recommend the sticky teriyaki chicken wings.

Great for the family or couples seeking a romantic getaway.

Tranquil Beach Getaway

My boyfriend travels 70% for work and as a result is a little picky about hotels… That being said, we both absolutely LOVED our stay at Tango Luxe. It's slightly off the beaten path, but still conveniently located. Our room was spacious and clean. Every morning the staff brought breakfast to our private deck within our private cabana. There are only about 12 units in the entire resort which makes it incredibly quiet and private. I think it would also be a wonderful choice if you were traveling with kids as it seemed that each unit had it's own private pool and some of the larger units had more than one bedroom. There is also a large common pool area that is right on the water. We took the kayak out and made it to an uninhabited nearby island. We sincerely didn't want to leave. Highly Recommended!

Peace and tranquility

The hotel is perfect if you want relaxation, peace and tranquility. Each villa has a plunge pool and there is also a hotel swimming pool, although this was rarely used by other guests during our stay (which was another bonus). The staff are a credit to the hotel and although breakfast is not perfect (although more than edible) it was a welcome treat to be served breakfast each morning on your own private decking.

Chaweng beach and Fisherman's village are within about 10-15 minutes by car/motorbike although it was a welcome treat returning to the calm of the hotel.

Service was amazing. Upgraded villa and breakfast set up in your bungalow every morning to the menu you had requested. Bungalows were large are ours was very private. Great shower and roll top bath. Dinner in bungalow was great and reasonable compared to other restaurants in koh samui. Only downside was the pool was needing repair (some tiles missing) and the beach is more a mud flat - which meant driving to one if you wanted to swim and have white sand.

Small, attentive getaway...

The hospitality here is really what stood out. We stayed at a half dozen hotels on our trip to SE Asia and this was the best service we received. It included a thorough walk-through of our suite and its amenities, a complimentary tasting of new restaurant menu items, shuttles back and forth to the larger beaches and assistance with our travel bookings. The villas, with their private patios and pools make for an excellent getaway from the crowds when you need to unwind. The only drawbacks I could see were that if you came in the off-season like we did, the beaches north of the island are essentially in hibernation and there are not a lot of food options in the immediate area. There are only fourteen villas here, which is a big part of getting the extra TLC and it's an excellent change of pace from many of the other resorts.

Highly not recommend - don't even think about it

One of the most rude staff which I have come across.
The locality of hotel is bad - no hang out places near by.
The privacy of the villa is pathetic - the room are covered with plantation around and the plantation is so poor that I can actually see through what one is doing in the room.
Zero facilities in the hotel and rooms.
We called for a private taxi for a drop to the airport early in the morning , we were running on time had thought to have complimentary breakfast which the hotel provided. However the owner of the hotel highly did not recommend us to have it stating the we shall run late for the airport . On arriving the airport the owner had also accompy us to the airport, we realised that the owner also had to board a flight and he was getting late to pushed us out if the hotel without breakfast

It was great, the rooms are amazing, extremely spacious, it's great having your own private pool (although people can see you through the hedge, so I wouldn't recommend nude sunbathing...) we loved having breakfast served by the pool each morning. The pool/bar area on the beach is gorgeous, we watched the sunset there on our last day. We personally LOVED the location, it is actually quite central because 4 different beaches are less than a ten minute scooter ride away and is still in a quiet area, but with 7 eleven a two minute walk away.

Excellent Villa, service & food, especially the \" BBQ Seafood for Two\". Sitting by the pool/sea, watching Beautiful sunset. Hotel provide complimentary bicycle, where you can cycle to \"Big Buddha\" to watch \"Beautiful\" sunset too. Also, can cycle to another \"Buddha with mulit-hands\". Both takes 5mins by cycling. Shops and restaurant around \"Big Buddha\". Breakfast is served in the Villas. Try the Orient B'fast. It comes with Dim-Sum & porridge - yummy. There are 7Eleven and Family Mart and other family run restaurant outside the hotel. Overall - Excellent!

Beautiful villa, well maintained, lovely pool, great service! Location of the hotel was a little bit out of the main area (only approx 15 mins on the shuttle bus), but wasn't a whole lot to do in the area. Had to always travel to activities/places. If you are looking for somewhere to veg and relax and spend your days at the villa by yourselves and by the pool, this is your place. Other then that, was a beautiful resort. Nice, quiet and relaxing.

A time to remember

I stayed in this hotel for my Honeymoon, I am a very picky hotel chooser and only choose this hotel after an intensive review of all the hotels in Samui.
Each room villa has a private Plunge Pool and a huge bath tube. I stayed in a junior villa, but would recommend upgrading to a Sala.
The service was excellent and everyone does there best to satisfy your needs, Aong is these to speak to, as other have poor English understanding.
The area around the hotel doesn't provide much as this hotel is people looking to sit back and relax within there own private space so don't expect any surroundings.
Spent a nice week at Tango Luxe.

We are coming back!

We were pleasantly surprised to get an upgrade to the Grand Sala Villa, Dalchini.

The room was comfortably spacious and had a beautiful pool u could swim around in. Best room we've stayed in for a while. Great sized rooms and beautiful bathrooms. We are modelling our new apartment to a similar concept used by this villa.

Breakfast is served in room everyday very punctually by v friendly guys.

Staff were very professional and helpful. Always smiling. They even brought us to feed the catfishes at the Guan Im temple.

Small beachside restaurant serves v good carbonara and sunset there is unblocked. U can see the big Buddha looking from across the sea.

It was a surprise birthday trip for my boyfriend who absolutely refused to leave. It also turned out to be a surprise proposal for me too, cos he found that the premise of the resort was the prefect setting.

Good holiday? I should say so!

Honeymoon at Tango Luxe beach Villa

After going through a string of villas/ resorts & hotels we finally decided to go for Tango Luxe Beach Villa. We arrived at Ko Samui on the 11th Apr 2013 at night and had a limousine pickup.
Upon arrival at the property we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The villa looked great!!!. We were put up at LE PARSIL, villa no.14 (So there are 14 villas in all). We had a pool all to ourselves inside our villa. The air-conditioning was fab too, cos the humidity levels were hiigh. The bathroom was spacious with a shower area, a bathtub, hot water running all the time. The villa staff delicately attended to our special vegetarian diet requirements. The complimentary breakfast included a lot of choices from american/english/spanish......... healthy options as well. The breakfast was served at the choice of time and delivered on time. During our stay we rented honda scooty (Bath 300) per day. The rentals were arranged by the staff with ease.
Cycling and Canoeing options were offered to the guests free of cost. The common pool was great too and a well stocked bar (though no life guards on duty- so gotta be careful with lil children).
The housekeeping were always at hand and cater to all your needs.
In the end i would say it was a memorable stay at Koh Samui of course made possible by the staff at Tango Luxe Beach Villa. Due to Spring sale I got this property real cheap through Hotels.com, it will cost more in peak/christmas season

Very friendly and helpful staff - organised us a hire car, bicycles and kayaks at no charge. Shuttle bus down to Chaweng at 1pm. Nice quiet location with 14 villas only away from the masses. 10-15 minute walk to the Big Buddha. Great pool and restaurant. Breakfast order served at your villa. Great view of the sea and the Big Buddha.

Romantic Escape

Towards the end of our stay in Koh Samui, Tango took us by surprise, a perfect getaway for our honeymoon.....Nestled close to Chong Muang beach, tango had everything what a couple could wish for - A spacious room with excellent amenities, a huge tub in the bath room and a lovely private pool and to top it all a breakfast served in the room. The quiet place has the Big Buddha and the andaman sea as the backdrop which makes it a perfect place to lounge around in the evening with the sunset and changing shades. A short drive from Chaweng Beach, tango is quite a contrast to the bustling night life of Samui. The staff went out of their way to make us feel special and the Thai dinner was out of the world. Some craqzy cocktails and great services makes Tango Luxe a perfect concoction for honeymooners....a MUST go!!!

Tango Luxe - A great experience

From our arrival to the moment we left, our experience of Tango Luxe was exceptional. The villa was first class. The spa pool was wonderful. The main pool and bar area were well thought out and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed for a week and were surprised when our final bill was so low given the amount of charges we had put on our room while we were there (trips, massages, food, drinks). I would certainly recommend Tango Luxe to anyone who asked and we would love to go back!

Tango Luxe pure luxury.

Beautiful hotel in quieter area of Koh Samui. We were upgraded to Arpar Villa which was very stunning and luxurious. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful on all levels. Each Villa has its own pool and all mod cons. Breakfast was delivered to your room each morning and even a tablecloth placed on table by staff. All very luxurious and we felt very spoilt. A quiet resort suitable for couples and honeymooners.

Tango Luxe is a little oasis in the hustle of Thailand. Driving down the lane to the entrance I thought OMG what have I booked - and then paradise. Quiet, comfortable and the most wonderful staff - nothing was too much trouble for them - and always smiling.

The food and drinks were very good. The resort is very quiet, clean and very well maintained. Although the beach is not for swimming it is a very pleasant outlook. I have nothing to complain about and would definitely go back.

Most comfortable and beautiful place to stay! the longer we were there the more we felt in love with the the resort and especially the people. The services was the best! Very friendly and helpful. Best room services by far and the foods was cheap and super yummy!!! Every call i made to the front desk, the girl knew my name!!! it is a little far from the main city area, however you can hire a scooter for 300 baht and enjoy the ride around the island and to the city, very easy to get too. Would love to come and stay again. Worth the stay and money spent!!! If only i could up load a picture perfect photo for you all to see.

Had a wonderful stay

We found the staff at this hotel brilliant. They were very polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Every time we sat down we had fans pointed at us or music turned on for us. Didn't have any problems with the language barrier. We thought the food was good and the sunset from the pool was amazing. The pool was a really good size and was nice and quiet. Could do with some more umberellas though.
We had the junior pool villa but it was a good size and like every review says, the bathroom was lovely. Loved the fact that they served breakfast by our own private pool every morning.
My one negative with this hotel would be the location. It is not on a beach you could sit on as the tide comes right in and it is pretty rocky. Some nice beaches are within a 25 minute walk and the hotel offers a free return transfer to Chaweng twice a day which was very useful. There aren't really many bars or restaurants withink walking distance so we did spend a lot of money on taxi's. If you want to go to bars and clubs every nigt then definitely stay in Chaweng. If you want somewhere quiet and don't mind getting taxi's or are happy spending time at the hotel then this is a great choice!
Only a short taxi ride to Fisherman's village which had lovely restaurants and bars with tables on the sand. Make sure to visit on a friday night when they have a great market with bands and stalls selling cocktails for 50 bahts (£1).

Tango Luxe was great overall. It seemed to be a newer resort, and was in a quiet area where there wasnt much to do. Which is good if you want peace and quiet. The resort is actually very small and we only met perhaps 3 or 4 other couples whilst we were there.

Only problem we had was with the language barrier. The staff weren't too confident with English which surprised me and made simple things you take for granted in hotels difficult, such as phoning reception for some in room dining, this was nearly impossible.

Food was excellent, cocktails weren't. Badly mixed and was a let down

Would reccommend Tango Luxe beach Villa Samui to anyone who wants a relaxing/comfortable place to stay.

The accommodation and food were great, but what was the stand out was the service provided by staff particularly at the restaurant and bar.

Loved the location too, as it was quiet and not in the hustle and bustle of Chaweng.

Will be back.

Only two minor things were the occasional smell from the drainage system within the villa and maybe the hotel could offer free transfers too and from the airport.

All pictures show hotel is at see front and it is beautiful sandy beach but the reality is the see in front of the hotel is terrible it is brown and dirty. This is the worst beach at the Koh Samui Island.

Overall it was good to experience another hotel on the island. It was small but cosy, the staff were on a whole great although the language barrier was a problem at times. The room and the service was first rate. The lack of a courtesy bus to take us to town or the airport was a drawback.
We had also stayed at the Mau Samui on the western side of the island, although more remote, that was a better place to stay.

So very quiet.

We got an amazing deal and had a great experience in Koh Samui. The service of the staff was like we were the only people in the place, we we're terated that well. The only thing we would change is learning more of the native tongue, as the staff aren't great with their English.

The Grand Sala suite is very generous with space, and the pool almost the size of our own at home. The location is close enough to basic requirements required for holiday survival, and far enough away from Chaweng Beach to not be bothered by the messy set. Views of the Big Budda from the main pool are spectacular, most notably at sunset, and whilst the restaurant lacks some atmosphere, the food is great.

We thoroughly recommend Tango Luxe and have already convinced some friends to book a break there and look forward to their thoughts.

Tango Luxe Beach Villas Koh Samui - a little gem

A lovely quiet resort consisting only of villas. The infinity pool overlooks the Bay of Thailand and Big Bhudda is clearly visible from there (and is only a 20 min walk from the resort)
The staff at this resort cannot do enough for you. From the moment we were picked up from the airport to the moment we departed we were looked after impecably. Our only criticism was the service for food at the pool bar in the evening was VERY slow. This was not the staff's fault as the kitchen is in the main building and by the time the food reached you it was luke warm.
The local village, which is a 3 min walk, has several eateries for good cheap local food, a bar, 2 mini markets a pharmacy and several other local shops.
For exploring the island the hotel will book excursions for you at no extra cost to you booking it yourself.
Tremendous value for money and a lovely experience. We would certainly return.

Unsere Villa im Tango Luxe war so wunderschön - wir haben 10 Tage dort verbracht und es sehr genossen. Fussläufig sind ein paar süße Cafés, 7 Eleven und kleine Restaurants. Der Rollerverleih draußen ist auch super, besonders wenn man den Rest der Insel erkunden will.
Das Sea La Vie Restaurant besticht mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht, aber ist einfach sehr teuer im vergleich zu Restaurants außerhalb und geschmacklich nur in Ordnung. Dieses Hotel ist meines Erachtens besonders gut für Besucher, die die Insel auch außerhalb des Hotels genießen wollen und dann einen Platz zum entspannen suchen! Denn das kann man hier auf jeden Fall mehr als gut!

Rummet va fantastiskt med egen pool och de större barnen hade egen ingång med eget badrum va perfekt, dock va sängens madrass av dåligt standard och endast hård. Stranden och maten höll inte måttet, hotellet bredvid hade dubbelt så god mat och för ett mer prisvärt, skulle vi komma tillbaka så skulle vi ta in där istället och lägga de andra pengarna på något bättre för det kostade en femtedel

Premier voyage en Thaïlande pour nous et nous sommes ravis davoir pris cet hôtel. Les villas sont co fortables tres bien décorée et la piscine privée : un excelle t petit plus. Quant au personnel, tres agreable d'une extrême gentillesse et toujours prêt à rendre service. Notre avion etait tard le soir, nous avons meme eu la possibilité de prendre une douche avant de partir. 無料で借りられる自転車があるので、近くのコンビにや大仏にはそれで行きましたが、食事や観光施設からは遠いので、タクシー代がかかりました。空港に近いのは便利ですが、音が気になる・・・という人はいるかもわかりません。（深夜に飛んだりはしないので、眠りを妨げられることはありませんでしたが）

Booket 2 netter i forbindelse med 30-årsfeiring under vår Thailandreise. Hele opplevelsen var helt fantastisk, alt fra beliggenhet med tanke på utsikt, standarden på villaen med eget basseng og stort badekar, samt veldig hyggelige og serviceinntilstilte ansatte. Nydelig frokost etter eget ønske ble servert på rommet. Rolig og behagelig atmosfære. Vi booket ytterligere 1 natt til da vi trivdes så godt.
