Great hotel! The beachfront pool was beautiful and they provided ocean front chairs on the beach. Overall a fantastic stay. A little far from the night life.

This hotel was not as nice as the pictures suggested- it could certainly use some updating. The AC in the room was temperamental and same with the lock on the patio door (both functional enough to not complain during the stay- but noted at time of check out). The bed was older and had some springs that seemed out of place making it lumpy.
As for location- there are a few restaurants in the area, however majority are a 15ish minute walk.
A saving feature is that this place is at the end of the beach so is quiet and the area is not overpopulated on the sand

Very friendly staff. The pool was nice and cool, not lukewarm. The balcony and ocean view were great. We lost sleep one night because of noise from the toilet room. They fixed it the next afternoon. Overall very good. We’d stay again.

We stayed in a bungalow 30 second walk to the beach! The pool is 20 seconds from our bungalow which over looks the beach!

Our room was amazing! Comfortable & spacious! This property is a few minutes away from the action and they have a great restaurant

Good property for what we needed (1 night stay). Beautiful beachfront. It's away from the nightlife and quiet. Our pool access room was nice. The couch in the room had many stains and the bathroom had some repairs needed (drain in sink was not attached, bathtub needs some TLC). The room had a bit of a mildew smell. Breakfast was included and was nice! Swim up bar at the pool was not open while we were there.

Good if you dont need a hot shower

Nice room and bed with a pool on the beach. The only issue was there was almost zero hot water. Staff were asked to fix it and advised probably the other room that uses hot water from the same system had used up all the water. This probably was not true because at 6 different times over 3 days there was no hot water.

Decent ocean side room

The hotel is really two hotels. The regular rooms and then the villas. We were in a villa. Breakfast was not worth the money. 250 bhat a person at the hotel. Room was nice. Private area on the beach. Best water pressure of anywhere I have been in Thailand. Also the hottest water. Big 4 poster bed was a hit with the girlfriend.

I really enjoyed the beach bungalow. It had an ocean view and was close to the pool and beach (most of the bungalows are a bit further back and have no ocean view).
As someone who sunburns easily, I loved that the resort was at the end of the beach with some nice shady areas, but also plenty of sandy beach area too.
The staff were also helpful and friendly.

Pleasant Surprise

This hotel is at the quieter end of Chaweng beach, which we liked. Van was fabulous. She helped with answers to so many questions. The staff were superb. We asked for extra pillows and got them right away. We were in a cabin and the are are nestled in amongst the trees and have a wonderful outdoor balcony area. Only 30 steps to the pool and beach. Pool is small but nice. The Chaweng beach is good, but not great. The tide takes much of it away. Water is sooo nice and warm in Bay of Thailand. Unfortunately there was a lot of surf the days we were there. The breakfast was basic but nice. They will cook eggs to order. It’s also a nice place to eat dinner, especially if you like to people watch. The hotel is nestled just off the main road and it’s like a little village with taxi, tour, laundry, and mini mart all within a few feet. Really was surprised by the place and would stay again.

Perfectly situated in a quiet location

Excellent location near the beach and a very pleasant walk into the town centre. Staff were very helpful and the hotel was quiet so we had a lovely time. Room was a little dark, and a little tired but we didn't go to Ko Samui to spend our time in the room. Access to the beach was a short stroll away through the bungalows, and the pool was lovely.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel once we had upgraded to the beach bungalows. We spent one night in a room in the hotel and found it very dark..the rooms are painted orange and the ceiling is black which makes it very claustrophobic! The lights in the rooms are also very poor making it hard to read a book.
Once we had upgraded to the beachfront bungalow, then our stay was perfect...except the hotel could upgrade both the bathroom and pool towels...some had holes and most of them had frayed edges! Providing thin net curtains on the windows of the bungalows would give the guests some privacy in their rooms. The location of the beachfront bungalows is magical!

Wish we had stayed longer. Be sure to walk through the neighbouring First Beach Bungalows and check out the long beautiful beach, otherwise hidden by a small Rocky headline.

The photos were deceptive as it gave the impression that it was all on one resort, when in fact it was all split up. The restaurant was on the otherside of the hotel. The swimming pool and beach were 'down the road'.

Koh Samui isn't my favorite island in Thailand, but this place made it great! Thanks for the upgrade =) Beautiful, spacious room. Nice pool right on the beach. A little far from things, but if you want to chill and relax, this is a good choice.

What made the Bhundhari special for my wife and I were the staff and managers. They made us feel like family. From the front desk...house keeping...kitchen and restaurant staff & chef...especially the assistant executive manager Taweeporn (Nui).

Our Austrian friends and us truly enjoyed the warm hospitality that was extended to us.

Very helpful and friendly staff particularly as our luggage didn't arrive with us! The hotel staff were very very helpful and made several phone calls to koh Samui airport to chase our luggage for us. There is a receptionist called nui and she is lovely, she is kind and has a pleasant nature, Jason at the beach/swimming pool bar is very nice also

Delux rooms are far from standard. We ended up upgrading to a beach villa which is very comfortable. Staff were helpful and beach is just infront and quiter then rest of chewang. Will recommend the villa but not the other rooms if u looking for comfy stay. Breakfast is average. Good location abt 5min walk to the main chewang area.

Hotel pool bit cold due to sheltered from sun, however hotel has the most amazing second pool on beach front complete without beach and pool beds and pool bar with Jason the friendly bar man, this pool is only about 75-100m from main hotel. Would definitely stay again

Bundarhi was fabuolous!!! out the way of the hustle and bustle but close enough to join in if we wanted to it only a short walk away to join in to all the fun. The staff there are amazing and so helpful. The breakfast was great lots of choice, the pool is good with a bar at the end a little more pricey than the bars but you can sit inside the pool bar stools and sip them bliss. Would highly recommend and I will defiantly be going back

Comfortable hotel located on the beach but at the quiet end of Chaweng. Just a short walk or tuk tuk ride to the hustle of Chaweng. The staff were amazing. The staff attended to all our needs and welcomed us with happy smiles each day. Had a really fun and relaxing time here.

Small hotel at end of Chaweng beach with 2 pools. Had room leading on to pool. Lovely having pool right at balcony but chairs were really uncomfortable to sit on. Bed was very very comfortable and great size. Photos on site are misleading as corner baths with waterfall showered are part of spa - not in your room. Rooms have normal bath/shower. The girls in Spa are brilliant and are brilliant for massages. Mini bar is disappointing as they will even charge you for water. This seems mean when water is so cheap. Also they don't tell you about any charges until you check out - when you're skint. Friends got charged for a broken ashtray and a stain that wouldn't come out of sheet - 700 bhat!! It would be fairer if they told you on the day this things happen. Overall the hotel was fine and being so close to beach is always going to be a bonus. Staff were pleasant.

Nice hotel with direct access to Chaweng Beach. I stayed in one of the Seaside Bungalows and I would recommend that as the bungalows are more private and close to the beach. The hotel is located at one end of Chaweng Beach which is fantastic if you want a less crowded and less noisy environment. Still very walkable to main strip with all the restaurants and shops. Overall the staff were fantastic except for one reception girl that seemed like she was wasting her time there. Everyone else was lovely. The buffet breakfast is great. Lots of selection.

Beautiful hotel on the beach at Chaweng

First impressions do not count here. Checked in at reception which was like an open air shop and then led down a street up a little alleyway and lo and behold - beautiful cottages right next to the pool and the beach. Pool bar, hammock, bean bags just finished this off - magical.

Almost there but not quite

On the surface of it the hotel seemed to be one of the best they we had stayed in in Thailand. However, by the 3rd day we realised that we had an infestation of ants in our bed due to left over food (sweets), that were not cleaned up from under the mattress and behind the bed. I had to clean the room myself (1.5 hours) as the maids just laughed and stared to swish the ants around with a broom.
The room was otherwise comfortable, but certainly not the standard of cleanliness that I would expect.
Additionally, whilst most of the hotel staff were friendly, there are a couple that seem to find it hard to smile, especially those at the beach bar. It just doesn't make your stay any more pleasant!

My girlfriend and I stumbled upon Bhundhari resort on our trip in May/15. We were greeted exceptionally, the staff got us checked in right away and showed us right to our room right next to the pool overlooking Chaweng beach. The resort was close to local restaurants, 711, and only a short 5-10 minute walk into Chaweng central.The resort was beautiful and the beach was amazing. The pool was perfect and the bartender was very helpful. We met several travellers at the pool front bar and overall the atmosphere and the people were all excellent.

I actually got engaged in Koh Samui and we headed back to the resort where the Bhundhari staff had organized an entire dinner with two private musicians on the beach. The dinner served was excellent and the setup was amazing. The best part about it was that the staff was very secretive any time they wanted to communicate with me regarding the special night, they found clever ways to get the message across. Which made the surprise to my now fiancé that much better.

With all this packed into an amazing price we had a blast. One of the best trips we have ever taken and we would highly recommend Bhundhari to any travellers!

A great Location and a Great Hotel

We spend our last days of our honey moon there, i was great, the staff is so nice and forward to help, is quite close to the comercial areas, if you are interesting in shoping malls like terminal 21, Emporium etc. The hotel have beautiful views from all over around, special from the swiming in the 30 floor. The unique we can say bad, is about the matress, was so uncomfortable, and the cleaning is not as perfect as somebody exigent can expect, the first day our sheets were so dirthy..like they forgot to change it, is a pity because the rest is great! Ono obstantly, i recomend this hotel for sure, if we come back, we will take it again, because the location, the staff, the services and the views!!We didnt take the breaksfast, cause it look us expensive, and you have a kitchen and a mini supermarket \"7 eleven\" just in the entrance,so we bought 2 croissants for 25 bath( 30 cents )!!and honestly were really delicious = )

Split hotel -two pools one great one not so

On arrival, having paid for the pool access swim up room i was very disappointed to find the hotel is split into two areas 50 meters apart with two pools. My room had no hanging space and was a little tired, I then stubbed my toe on the 1 inch blind step from the ensuite to the bedroom. Not happy so I immediately upgraded at 500 Bart per day (10 quid) to a Bungalow which was fantastic and on the better side of the hotel 50 meters away next to the quality smallish immaculate Infiniti pool, overlooking the ocean with access to a quality beach. After two days I fell in love with Thailand and this hotel, the staff were great and as long as you take a bungalow you cannot go wrong here!

Great location, great staff, great stay

Loved that our room had direct access from our patio into the pool, and it was very well equipped. The bed was so comfy, and air conditioning worked perfectly.
This hotel has access to 2 seperate beaches, not only a 2 minute walk away.
Staff were very friendly and attentative.
Would definitely stay here again.

Quiet end of Chaweng Beach but plenty of options to get up to shopping, restaurants, nightlife etc.
On arrival we advised that it was a 'special' birthday trip and they immediately made sure we had the best bungalow available and gave us an extra early check in which was really appreciated.
Nothing was too much trouble for all the Staff.
Breakfast was excellent each morning.
If we ever visit Koh Samui again we would rebook here for sure!!

first part of holiday. Gerry the manager was very kind and helpful with enquiries. Resort looks so much better on internet in reality sitting on an intersection if in pool near reception no relaxation overlooked by street and rooms . Breakfast across the street overlooking grotty area ,breakfast fine nice omelette. If one can stretch for it go for beach bungalow, really beautiful again across street.Lovely beach second pool beach side very nice . No bar to speak of . Go elsewhere for entertainment and food every type and taste available. Learn to bargain and walk away especially with taxi, prebooked taxis more expensive unless group 400thb verses 150thb from airport. Bring very little clothes three outfits and beach wear. The resort does not provide any courtesy transport and refers you to agent across street for trips. Marine park very worth while. After all that yes I would stay again in beach bungalow.

This hotel is located at the very end of chaweng, about a 20 minute walk into the heart of it. The hotel itself is nice, comfy rooms and is in a quiet area. There are two pools, one is on the beach and both are kept really clean and the pool one serves very nice cocktails! Great value for the price

Stuff up with the online booking ... I'm confident I booked a Kingbed however upon arrival was informed only the twin rooms were available ... That was very inconvenient.. , the bathroom was a little dirty with mould around the silicon. Apart from that it was great, good service, location and overall I was happy

Stayed in a sea front bungalow for 6 nights in January. In general these rooms are quite nice but only 3.5 star at best. Beds are very firm and may be uncomfortable for some people. Staff were friendly and helpful and beachfront pool was nice. Internet is slow and not reliable. Breakfast selection and quality is ok but location is not on the hotel site and not a very nice location to sit and eat. Sea front location of bungalows is good but walk at least 100m north up the beach if you want to swim as there is a river enterance to the sea just 40m south of the hotel. After rain this canal dumps effluent into the sea washed down from the dirty streets and drains that feed it. Myself and several others from the hotel got very sick with vomiting and diarrhea from swimming in the sea directly outside the hotel.

Lovely hotel but a little far from the action

Very clean and lovely service but its right down the end of the beach. Quite a long walk to get to restaurants and the main shopping area. Unfortuantly we were there in November which is their monsoon season, it rained everyday.. The beach and beach front pool were closed due to the tonnes of rubbish that was being washed up.
