Overall experience was great. Staff was wonderful. Common areas were clean. The pet fee was a little high. Pool closed down twice out of 3.5 days and was murky. They did shuttle us to the neighboring hotel to use their pool. Breakfast had a lot of options. The room was larges and clean.

We were happy with everything. The beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. The room was decently clean. More creamer in room and cups would have made it better. I like the soap products in the bathroom.
Staff was excellent and the breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts at a moderate hotel I’ve been to. We would recommend it and would stay again. Not sure about the bugs people are talking about in other reviews, but we brought our cats in a pet friendly room and none of us had any issues.

The amenities and staff were good, breakfast was well above average. However the noise forces me to take this particular location off the list for a return stay. I was on the 3rd floor. The road noise is far too loud for not even being located directly off a main road. There is virtually zero sound proofing between floors. I could hear everytime my upstairs neighbor did anything, which they did at 5:30 every morning and spent 2 hours getting ready for the day. The elevator ding is absurdly loud, clearly audible from within the room. Lastly the doors slam shut with so much force - making for a very loud and very palpable notification anytime someone on your floor was leaving their room. Unfortunately most of these things are structural, non-fixable issues so I will not be returning here on my next trip.

We didn’t die staying here, but this hotel was extremely disappointing. From arrival late at night to what looked like a closed hotel (turns out staff had turned off the lobby lights because they like to be “in the dark”) which made me almost drive away (instead I went in - creepy but we were desperate in middle of a blizzard), the disgusting smell throughout, including bags of trash outside rooms, filthy floors throughout, and all of the I’ll maintained everything, we almost considered asking for a refund to stay elsewhere. But again, blizzard.
Walls in the hallways were peeling and hunks of things missing from trim to proper outlet covers in the room. Cabinetry that was so filthy and the mdf exposed and units falling apart. Oh, and the hotel staff member that was on break, sitting in the foyer guest area, picking her nose.
Would never stay here again. Yuck.

Beds and kitchen table chairs were ridiculously low to the ground, as if the room was setup for little people. Staff was nice. They charge their customers daily parking fees. I asked about those later-billed credit card charges when they showed up on my credit card a couple days after returning home. They also make you place a little, yellow slip on your dashboard that identifies you as being a paying a customer, like the campgrounds do. A genuine pain and something I've never seen before in my many travels. Their only explanation and justification for these daily charges was that \"a number of other hotels do it.\" Not an acceptable and reasonable response, in my opinon. The property, after all, is remote and not in an area where other business are located and people, other than their customers, might use and take up parking spaces needed by their customers. A couple days later, after refusing to return my parking fees, without notification, they credited me back the full parking fees. So, somebody made the decision change to handle my complaint quietly. I dont know if they actually changed the greedy policy for everyone, however. I would check, before returning there, and I would ask for a room with normal height chairs and a bed. It looked like they just placed the box spring on the floor. So, getting out of bed was rough on my old knees. Other than these things, I would go back because everything else was rather nice. In fact, I would make this hotel my first choice.

The information on the Hotels.Com website is VERY different than the information that we err given at the hotel. It was very “switch and bait”. The website very clearly stated parking was $5 nightly, and the hotel said it was $12- that’s a vast difference when you have 2 vehicles for multiple nights. The website also said 24 hour shuttle service. The hotel said NOPE. Our shuttle service begins at 3am…..

My reason for not giving 5 stars is that the water temperature was not hot. Both the bath the night before and shower in the morning were warm, not hot. I did report this to the front desk and hopefully they can do something to adjust it before our next stay.

The first thing wrong was being told there was a parking fee of $5.00 a day. We were there for 11 days. It just seemed cheesy. We stayed at the same hotel 6 months ago and had no problems. The kitchen had 4 plates and 4 mugs. 1 fork and 1 plastic fork. 1 butter knife, 2 teaspoons serving spoon. Couple of larger steak-type knives. A few small glasses maybe4 and 1 large glass. All most makes a dishwasher unnecessary . The breakfast was so-so and stopped serving at 9am. Also we arrived on December 20 and checked out December 30. We had housecleaning only once. Expected twice, and had to hunt them down repeatedly for toilet paper.. I think next time we will try Marriott. We also were disappointed to find we couldn’t get an itemized bill for our stay. The staff was lovely.

the walkways were very icy. the pool was very green and we didn't use it because someone got sick in it. they closed it and cleaned it.
Surprise bill at end of stay, was charged 20 dollars for parking it's not like this was a big city or major vacation location. it was an open parking lot, not a garage.

Everything was wonderful. We got to the hotel at 3:30 (check in was supposed to be at 3) The staff was so amazing trying to comfort us while waiting. We had 4 adults and 4 kids in our entire party. Our rooms weren't ready until almost 5pm but your staff bought us pizza and we just relaxed in your breakfast area watching tv. The rooms were very clean. This message is most certainly not meant in a negative way. Your staff (I wish I could remember his name) was just so amazing. Chatted with us every time we saw him and asking our or stay is. Great employee's 10 *stars* if you had that :-)

We stayed at many different locations of Homewood suite, this location has a nice clean property. Nice spacious room. Nice warm pool, fluffy bedding. The only issue we had was our daughter cut her foot on a metal bed frame sticking out from her bed, we had to call down for some stuff missing that we needed, arrived within 10mins. We had a great time overall and enjoyed our time.

The only thing that was inconvenient was we checked in late (10:30 pm) and the parking lot was full so we had to cross the road and park at the hotel across the road - it was below zero and there wasn't a path snowblown in the snow so we had to walk through the snowbank with our luggage in those temps in the dark/late as two women...not a great situation.

I’m not one to leave a negative review. However I’m baffled at how much a hotel can change in a year. Last years stay was excellent.Unfortunately the same cannot be said for this recent stay. First off the smell of the hotel is horrendous now. The second floor elevator area reeks of dirty diapers? And cigar smoke and some type of food cooking. The pool was disgusting. The bottom was brown like it had not been cleaned or vacuumed for awhile. We had same room as last year. No trash bags, only half roll of toilet paper,tv kept turning off every 20 minutes and the phone didn’t work. When maintenance came to fix tv the man said it was because our room was too warm. It’s DECEMBER in New England so 70 degree room is not “ Too hot”. He proceeded to set the Ac without telling us and our room was freezing during the night. Communication with maintenance and housekeeping was difficult due to communication barriers. Each time we asked front desk person about issues we had we were told everything was fine on their end. When we went to use pillows from closet there were blood stains and hair on the pillow cases. NASTY!We chose pay at property during booking, since three of us would be sharing cost. They would not let us change payment type and debited my bank account a day before we checked out. Expedia called them to tell them that it was up to hotel to change payment and were told NOPE. SADLY We will not be going back next year for annual girls trip.

The thermostat was broken. Struggled to maintain a comfortable temp the first night and the second day we left for the day and had set at 65 degrees came back to the room with the thermostat reading 99 and it felt hotter. Asked for help, got sent a man who just said it was broken and he brought us a portable AC unit to help cool the room off… had to shut the heat off. So we couldn’t control the temp in the room the second evening/night. Kinda feel they could have done something like offer us another room or refund us a night for inconvenience. Was told if it becomes “unbearable” to call the front desk back… unfortunately I will not be back. Plenty of the hotels in the area to choose from. The room was nice.

We are Hilton people and usually are very satisfied with our stays. This experience was awful. When we arrived there was a backup of cars trying to unload due to lack of luggage carts. We had to make multiple trips from the car to our room.

In the lobby area was a very disruptive party going on. Loud. Someone on roller skates. We were trying to talk to the front desk attendant.

And worst of all was the smell of pot in all the elevators, hallway to room and even seeping into our bedroom. We had to open the windows in our suite to lessen the smell. I walked through the halls with my coat over my mouth.

The only front desk attendant was sweet but could not handle all that was going on. We did talk to her and she had to be interrupted by the barking dog and roller skating guest.

It’s a shame because the room itself was nice. But, we would never stay here again.

This was our second stay here. The first time was in March of 2020 the week the pandemic was declared so I assumed the shortcomings of the hotel were due to matters out of their own control. We remembered the beds being very comfortable and needed a suite due to our family of 4 (2 toddlers) so we decided to book again due to the fair rates and needing to stay for 4 nights. The staff was incredibly rude. Any time we went to the front to ask for anything, the front desk staff would tell us to wait until someone with a cart came around (there was no one that we saw on the floor at the time which is why we asked) and they were not nice about the way they said it either. One of the days we were there, staff came around to refresh our room and somehow we were left with zero toliet paper. The cleaniless of the room was awful. Their was a gross smell, like stale food/garbage and sewage, in our room and it was especially bad in the bathroom. We bought multiple air fresheners which honestly barely covered the smell. The shower/tub was not clean; you could see mold growing under and around the bath mat so I was not able to give my toddlers a bath while we were there (we still rinsed them off in the shower but this is not ideal for a 1 and 3 year old). The kitchen drawers were disgusting. I ended up taking everything out of the drawers due to my kids being able to open them and everything in the drawer was dirty/sticky. There was a black/mold like substance at the bottom of the drawer.

I booked this hotel Beacuse we needed longer stay for 5 of us.on pictures room has 2 Queen beds in separate room and sofa bed in separate room with tv and kitchen area.kitchem alao looked big on pictures.when we get in room it was nothing like on pictures .it was just regular one room with 2 beds and chair ,no sofa bed and kitchen was so small like in hallway entrance. Room smell so I just turn back to the front and ask them for room that I booked. They said that is what I booked. I told them that is not and asked for my $ back because this was very expensive and I could booked regular room in different hotel for half price but I chooses this one because on pictures was what I wanted. Before our arrival date we notified the property that we would have a dog with us. Nobody informed us that there would be an extra $75 fee for this until check in time. The tv in the bedroom didnt work. The phone didnt work. The toilet paper was low. There was no paper towels. During the night there was a fire in another room and the building was evacuated. After the emergency the firefighters allowed us back in the building. Nobody from the hotel staff checked on us to assure us that all was ok. Someone should have contacted us, as guests, and made sure we were ok after such a traumatic ordeal but nobody did. So, in short, we paid full price plus $75 for a suite that wasnt stocked properly and had faulty equipment. We were evacuated to the parking lot at 3AM and never checked on to make sure we were ok. We could not get ANY restaurants to deliver to our location. This is not how i would treat a guest at my home.

I liked that there were enough beds for our family of 5. That was the only good point.

Either the hotel needs to replace their vacuums or they're not properly vacuuming the premises. The parking lot is full of trash just casually thrown around. Parts of the ceiling are water damaged. The pool looks disgusting. Believe the reviews on Google. The pictures are deceiving, and I feel the water movement / filtration isn't enough to keep up with the pool upkeep.

Our room had counters and surfaces with a layer of dust, Our bathroom fan had a thick coating of black / brown dust coming from the vent. The floor looked like it had been just carelessly vacuumed in the areas you could notice. Behind furniture were remnants of other guests: confetti from a party, stains on the fridge, dresser, oven, stove, etc.

We raised our concerns with the front desk clerk. She said the pool was that color from the chemicals. She also sent housekeeping up to clean again, but when he arrived, there was a language barrier and he only wiped down one surface after advising us not to use the bathroom fan. We will not stay here again. Paid almost $400 and felt like we were staying in a cheap motel. Apparently it's a high crime area. Someone was assaulted and stabbed in the parking lot. Another guest had his room broken into and was assaulted. This property is an embarrassment to the Hilton name.

Breakfast needs some improvement. The meat choices were not great. Potatoes very soggy and bland.

Our kids loved the basketball court. The staff was kind and it was perfect for our family of 5! :)
