Pull out sofa had food in it from previous guests. The front desk does not answer the phone after 745pm. Netflix did not work on TV even though its there on the streaming list. People upstairs from us practicing dance moves all night long. Room we rented was not what we paid for so we had to move . We left a day early because the place is not for us

I am writing to express significant concern regarding the lack of safety, security, and care demonstrated during our recent stay at the Manchester/Boston Courtyard by Marriott.
On the evening of Sunday, February 15th, a visibly intoxicated individual was attempting to enter multiple guest rooms. Although the police were called, no action was taken, and the individual was allowed to return to his room. He proceeded to yell throughout the night, clearly impaired by more than just alcohol, and was behaving in a manner that was unsafe and disruptive. This individual should have been removed from the property for the safety and comfort of all guests.
Additionally, on the morning of our departure, an extremely disturbing incident occurred. My wife was in the shower, and my son was still asleep when a member of the housekeeping staff attempted to forcefully open our door. The aggressive nature of the attempt—violent banging and pressure on the lock—left my wife shaken for hours, especially given her past trauma. This occurred well before checkout time and while we were actively preparing to leave.
These incidents are entirely unacceptable and do not meet the standards we have come to expect from Marriott. We have stayed at numerous Marriott properties over the years with our hockey and baseball organizations, and this was by far the worst experience we have ever encountered. I anticipate that other families in our group will also report similar concerns about individuals.

3rd shift employee was wonderful at check-in. Lovely. Welcoming. Knowledgeable.
Totally different story with the 1st shift employee during check-out. She was rude and humiliating. I checked in late so I wasn't able to sleep much. I had to wait for a ride. I dozed off in the lobby area in a chair. The employee woke me up by yelling at me like I was a child. She said, \"This is a hotel, not a place for you to sleep.\" I found her remark rather humorous. She then told me I had to leave the property immediately. It was snowing heavily. I had to leave on foot while carrying my luggage. It was uncalled for, and it was dangerous. It was a terrible experience. I'll never stay at that property again.

Toilet didn't work properly as handle was broken and toilet failed to shut off till I personally adjusted it. Otherwise all in the room was good. Check in was terrible with only one person handling this. We had to wait in line for more than 20 minutes to check in. No one made an effort to jump in and help.

I don’t usually write reviews but for a Marriott I expected a bit better conditions. The service at check in and out was unfriendly. The parking lot and grounds had garbage on the ground with overflowing garbage bins. The window in our room was so old and fogged you could barely see through it. The beds were both sinking/lumpy and the noise from people walking on the floor above was like being in a very old, wood floored home. There was a party going on next to us one night, with visitors knocking on our door looking for it at 1:45am. While I realize the hotel can’t prevent some of this, the property owner could clean it up and the manager could make sure staff is actually cleaning. Just disappointed as we typical assume a Marriott is going to be in descent condition.

Very large clean room close to the airport. Check in staff was very helpful and friendly. Would stay here again...except I would book an earlier shuttle to the airport than they recommend. The driver was 20 minutes late to pick us up at 5am and in zero hurry. Very frustrating and we barely made the flight.

It was storming when we arrived, so I pulled into the carport. The shuttle driver rudely told me to move instead of pulling up so we could both fit. Check-in was worse—I waited nearly 25 minutes in line because only one receptionist was working, struggling to check people in while on speakerphone with support. With the hotel nearly full due to a soccer tournament, having just one person at the desk was absurd. Paying for parking here is outrageous—we’re in Manchester, not Boston—and with already high rates, not even including continental breakfast feels like a ripoff.

The room looked fine at first, but the bathroom was disgusting: hair on the shower wall, curtain, and floor, with rust and mold everywhere. I requested a low-traffic area for my dog but was placed by a busy exit. Thin walls meant hearing kids running the halls, stairways, and all outside traffic. On night two, we requested towels the receptionist promised to bring—never delivered. Housekeeping showed up day three while we were still in the room, so we only got towels and never knew what the schedule was.

Finally, despite being dog-friendly, there was no designated dog area and no outdoor trash cans for waste—only cigarette receptacles scattered around.

Highly disappointed with our stay and wouldn’t return due to the service provided & room conditions.

Stressful Visit

This has been our go-to hotel to stay in when we are visiting family and we were excited to return this week. The location is great (near many amenities and close to interstate), it has a pool, and an indoor playground across the street. We have always felt very comfortable and safe here. During our most recent stay, we were disappointed to learn upon check-in that the fire alarms were offline \"indefinitely\". This is worrisome given how quickly fire can spread and how challenging it would be for hotel staff to alert everyone in the event of a fire. Needless to say, I was on high alert. While on high alert, I heard someone at our door at 2AM. My fear was fire, only to find that it was a hotel guest who was having difficulty locating his room. When told that he had the wrong room, he apologized and moved onto other rooms in the hallway only to then return to our room again. Thankfully, our locks were secure and kept him at bay. Front desk staff (Tiana) was very supportive and came to assist the guest. Ultimately, the situation escalated and required the guest to be escorted out of the hotel by local police. We were very grateful for the hotel staff looking out for our safety and well-being during this situation. I don't want to let one visit color my views on this hotel, but this was a very stressful stay.

Shower curtain was way too small and rod was broken - water goes everywhere when shower is on. Pool was out of order and presence of a pool was the reason we chose this hotel. Front door was under construction and you had to use a side door that was just propped open (should remain locked) and was unmanned - anyone could come in any time of night. Very loud - people screaming and running in the halls at 10:30pm. Outside trash cans overflowing all over the ground.

This hotel was very clean and comfortable and the location was great. Between the pool and Cowabunga's indoor playground, we were able to find fun activities for our 4 year old. Many food options, too! We will definitely stay here again should we find ourselves in this area in the future.

Loads of young children (I mean dozens of them) running up and down hallways knocking on doors and slapping walls until way past midnight. Calls to the front desk to complain were met with comments such as “we are sold out”. I can’t for the life of me understand why any responsible adult would allow their children (some as young as 10 or 12) to run around that late at night raising such a ruckus. Totally unacceptable parenting and a terrible response from management. Last stay at a Marriott Courtyard!

Most comfortable bed I've slept in at any hotel. Tons of extra space. No free breakfast, but there is a breakfast bar that I didn't get a chance to try out. Staff was extremely friendly. The attendant that checked me in even fist bumped me at the end of our conversation. I don't know if it was appropriate, but it made me feel comfortable.

You can tell the hotel was renovated but it doesn’t appear that it’s being kept up with. Our room had a huge stain on the floor halfway under the couch. The water from the sink came out cloudy white. The ice machine didn’t work. Just poor quality for such an expensive price.

Staff or owners need to learn to use a vacuum.Every carpet was loaded with filth. Elevators were filthy.Limited hot water in the shower. Paint peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom. My favorite was the pair of mens underwear that stayed in the same spot outside for the duration of our stay. Since they dont clean inside why should they clean outside. Ice machine on the second floor was completely dead. Bed was comfy though.
