It is more and more difficult to find a Weiner Schnitzel from year to year, being replaced by halal kebab.

This hotel... I could have stayed in forever. The location was great (walkable to so many restaurants and cafes), easy parking options, very easy/quick drive into Zell am See. Great amenities, outdoor pool, etc. The staff was super friendly. The only downside was our room faced the train tracks so it got a tiny but noisy.

Very clean and well maintained. Ideal for ski to the Ariet lifts.
Wouid have like breakfast included and disappointed at the size of the single beds in the family suite for older children.

Incredibly beautiful hotel with high quality services, food and drink, and interior design. Sauna and spa are spacious and inviting. Walls in the rooms are a bit thin, so it’s a little too easy to hear the many ski vacationers’ conversations and music on the balcony next door, but other than that I highly recommend this place. Not even that expensive for everything you get.

Minimalist but beautiful interior design. Staff were friendly.
Breakfast was more like an a la carte and of very high quality. This meant the waste that often seen in buffet model was to absolute minimum. Juan was really attentive in the morning as was the manager during their delicious dinner. Beautiful and modern bar with lovely bartenders.
Things I did not like (although not changing my 5 stars rating):
- hand cream or body lotion was a rarity there!
- no jacuzzi or hot tub
- no upgrade option given despite being entitled to it.
All in all, a great experience and we will be coming back.

It’s a great hotel, especially for couples. Lots of options for self-treatment, two pools, nice bar. Three things I didn’t like: 1. Anytime after 6 pm you’ll have to compete for parking spaces as there are never enough. 2. People would smoke on balconies (they are allowed to as there is an ashtray on balconies) and all the smoke would go into your room. 3. Walls are paper thin, you can hear everything going on next door.

Loved the hotel and the included spa. We stayed for 3 nights midweek. The view from the balcony was amazing. The hotel and environment itself was great. Local travel passes were included and it made getting around even easier since we didn’t have to take the car. We cannot speak for the breakfast as we did not partake. Lots of local shopping for clothes and restaurants.

Was not a fan on the housekeeping staff rearranging belongings in our absence or the family on the 4th floor that allowed their child to stomp around and scream at all hours of the day and night. There was also a couple that walked up and down the 3rd floor hallways talking loudly every half hour or so. Wish there was more soundproofing.

Fantastic!!

Beautiful hotel, very clean, everything you need. Just a short 20 minute walk to Zell am See, gorgeous lake, stunning views of the mountain. There are some lovely hiking trails in Zell am see. My partner and I followed a trail up Schuttdorf mountain which had the most incredible views along the way. Highly recommend staying here.. staff are extremely friendly and they let us check in a little early too!

Nice hotel with great spa facilities to use after a day on the mountain. The rooms are modern and clean.

The staff were all relaxed and professional and the food was good too.

One thing to note is that the rooms are a little light on in-room toiletries with only body wash and soap provided.

I loved the Location, natural views around size of rooms. Breakfast was excellent. Nice pool and gym.
However there was no porter to help with baggage specially they have high steps to reach the reception area from outside. No slopes.

Great hotel - superb spa facilities

Great hotel and would stay again - feeling of calm throughout hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Spa facilities superb. There are no drink making facilities in room so need to take your own if that is a concern. Advise packing flip-flops if planning to use outside pool, as slippers provided not suitable for outside if wet/snow. However, outside pool is heated and was great to use surrounded by snow.

Fantastic, just a couple of points to improve on..

The hotel, the staff, the room and the overall experience were fantastic, I would most definitely return. There were just a couple of little things that I think would make this hotel outstanding.

Firstly a hot drink area in the room (kettle at the very least). Whilst you could get a coffee at breakfast it would be nice to relax in your room with access to hot drinks.

A fridge. I understand during the winter you can leave things on the balcony but it was just a little point I picked up on as I bought some food back to the room nd had to leave it outside.

Lastly an iron at the front desk or travel iron in the room. I didn't end up wearing any of my shirts as they were creased in the bag.

As I said at the top these are only little things but hopefully if you read this you can pack what you need.

The Hotel/Spa and everything about Mavida was great, amenities and ski lift all within a couple of mins walk.

Excellent Location for IRONMAN 70.3 Zell am See

Stayed here twice in August 2017, once for a practice session/recce of the race location and then again for the event itself. The staff were excellent and helped with whatever we needed. Location is also ideal for transition being only a 5-10 minute walk away and it was easy enough getting in to Zell am See using the buses/tram. They don't mind bikes in the rooms. Breakfast was good and certainly adequate for athletes. They even started serving at 6am on race day to accommodate those who wanted to eat a bit early. Lunch/dinner at the bar was also good and reasonably priced. There is a Spar, pizza restaurant, and McDonalds nearby, so no issues getting water, pre- and post-race meals! I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough!!

Unfortunately, the bar lounge was closed during our stay in mid-November as it seemed renovations were underway ahead of the busy ski season. There were also no tea / coffee making facilities in the room and the hotel is isn't too close (walking distance) to the town. Both the bedroom and bathroom were large and bright though, with the first having a lovely view and balcony. There was a good choice for breakfast and it was very handy having on-site parking as we had a hire car.

We stayed here one night on our way from Vienna to the Glossglockner Highway.
Front desk staff spoke very good English.
Room was lovely with very comfortable King sized bed and a very \"mod\" bathroom.
Breakfast was great with scrambled eggs, homemade bread, cereals, yogurt, breakfast meats and all kinds of espressos, coffee and tea choices.
Hotel was nice & quiet. Away from the busiest parts of Zell Am See.

Fantastic hotel and we will certainly stay there again if possible. The staff were all extremely helpful. The shuttle bus to the slopes was great. The staff who care for the children were excellent too. Pretty much everything was taken care of for us. My main critique was the amazing restaurant in the Mavida - the menu and quality of offerings for adults was as good as anything I've experienced before. However the menu for children was limited to three dishes (the same three for the whole week). We did ask for different meals for the children and they were happy to help provide something else. I think it would be better of the menu for the children was more varied and please do not just add chicken nuggets, pizza, chips, etc.

Outstanding SPA and wellness center (the best I've ever been in). Probably the best restaurant I've ever eaten. Highly recommended. Exceptional breakfast, lunch time snacks, afternoon crunches and finally the best - the dinner. Outstanding chef and service. The negatives are the room size (little small), closeness to train and local church (may be noisy at the morning).

Superbe chambre au calme avec vue sur les montagnes, très bien équipée, et lit très confortable. Parking extérieur réservé aux clients de l'hotêl.
Seul bémol non négligeable pendant les fortes chaleur et incompréhensible pour un hôtel de ce standing : l'absence de climatisation ! Car difficile d'ouvrir les fenêtres pour rafraîchir la chambre en raison des moustiques... (pour rappel l'hotêl est équipé d'une piscine extérieure et est à 15 min à pied du lac)

Das Hotel und der Wellnessbereich waren sehr sauber und modern. Im Wellnessbereich gab es immer frische Handtücher und Getränkespender. Am ersten Tag war der Frühstücksservice leider sehr schlecht. Ein Teil des Frühstücks wurde serviert und das dauerte zum Teil länger als 30 min. Andere Gäste erhielten Ihre Bestellung trotz mehrfacher Nachfrage gar nicht oder fehlerhaft oder erst nach einer Stunde. Das Frühstücksbuffet war um 10 uhr bereits komplett leer geräumt und wurde nicht mehr aufgefüllt, obwohl die Frühstückszeiten bis 11 Uhr gingen, das Personal war komplett überfordert und unorganisiert. Es haben sich mehrere Gäste beschwert. Am nächsten Tag war der Service das komplette Gegenteil. Die Bestellungen gingen zügig und es wurde auch oft nachgefragt, ob alles passt, noch etwas gewünscht wird usw.

We were lucky to have great heat in weather while visiting, which means we missed AC and a fridge a lot in the room to keep us comfortable. Room was good all in all, but pillows horribly flat as typical for hotels and the layout in the room was a bit odd. We Loved the pool area and the bathrope in the room, the signs of pool area and staff english skills could be better. Complimentary parking big plus!

Vi kom fram ganska sent på kvällen och trodde att hotellet hade restaurang som kunde servera middag, det hade de inte. I närområdet fanns endast tre restauranger som hade öppet efter kl 21:00. Frukost ingår inte och kostar 30
euro/vuxen och 20 euro/barn och tom receptionspersonalen rekommenderade oss från att avstå pga det höga priset. Rummet upplevdes dammigt och ostädat när vi kom. Rummen är lyhörda. Flera pooler på området saknar vatten.
Det är inte gångavstånd till Zell am See. Avsaknaden av personal är stor både i SPA-anläggningen och vid utcheckningen.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich und herzlich empfangen.
Die Richtlinien und auch das Gelände wurde uns erklärt bzw. sogar persönlich gezeigt.
Das neue Gebäude war richtig schick und modern.
Wir sind in dem etwas älteren Gebäude untergebracht worden, was nicht weiter schlimm war. Allerdings sind die Badamaturen etwas in die Jahre gekommen und waren ziemlich schwergängig.
Die Räume waren sehr großzügig geschnitten und toll aufgeteilt.
Den Pool konnten wir leider aus Zeitgründen nicht nutzen, der sah aber äußerst einladend aus.
Schön wären Zimmerpreise bei denen das Frühstück mit inkludiert ist, da der Preis für zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder bei 100€ pro Tag lag und uns somit deutlich zu intensiv war.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit einem Hervorragenden Frühstück und A la carte Abend Restaurant!

Poolbereich etwas sehr laut da viele Kinder ohne das die Erziehungsberechtigte eingreifen, dieses liegt nicht am Hotel sondern den Eltern!
Keine Körbe für verbrauchte Handtücher im Poolbereich, daher liegen besonders gegen Abend überall rumliegende Handtücher! Verbesserungsvorschlag auch hier wie im Saunabereich im Sichtbereich/Ausgang Pool Korb für verbrauchte Handtücher stellen!

Im Spa und Sauna Bereich ist alles vorhanden was bei einen Spa Aufenthalt benötigt wird.
Hochwertiger Ronnefeld Tee, Hauseigner Honig, Getrocknete Früchte, Nüsse, Obst und Getränke nach Wahl zum selbst Zapfen!
