Breakfast was good and kids enjoyed their bed on the rock (until they whacked their heads on it at night)! Pros were the view and the breakfast. Cons were the location which was totally inaccessible for anyone with mobility issues and challenging with luggage. The parking was in a very run down area so i was nervous leaving the car there and walking through that to get to the hotel.

The back entrance to the hotel which we were to use to get to the main shops and resraurants was down a very steep staircase behind some dillapidated buildings. Again not the best at night with 2 small kids.

The beds were very hard and the shower head didn't stay up so we had to hold it above our head when showering. It's not somewhere I would recommend unfortunately.

Staff was great, very helpful and gave us lot of tips. Breakfast was nice and service outstanding.
Room was good, beds good, but average quality on the bed and the bed linens. Not an outstanding room, but worked ok for a short stay.
Lots of steps to get down from parking to the hotel and from the hotel to town. There are many hotels in Nafplio where you can avoid the steps.

We had a wonderful time for our 5 day stay, staff , especially Dorina and housekeeping lady were very sweet and accommodating helping with whatever needs we had. The property itself is located on top of the hill allowing for breathtaking views of the whole city and water, it is also located near a beach which was fantastic, as well as near a historic landmark of Palamidi Venetian Fortification which is a must to visit!!

Impossible to find!!!!! At the top of multi-layered uneven slippery & winding stone staircases almost straight up or down & up uneven stone walkways from on an elavated ramp. NO CAR OR PARKING ACCESS. We left our luggage in the rented car and loaded our backpacks with enough for our stay. Nice facility but not worth the difficulty in finding it or the trek it took to get there!!!!

Stayed three nights during our fist visit to Greece. Finding this hotel on foot was a bit of a challenge, but its lofty location gives it a beautiful view of the city & harbor. The staff was extremely helpful with advice and arrangements, and breakfast was outstanding every day. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely and quiet setting on the hillside. Wonderful staff, thank-you Sakis. Parking is above the property, and a rough cobblestone path to the hotel, they will send a video showing the route in, its not hard to follow. Enjoy this lovely little town.

Gorgeous property with wonderful views

This is a gorgeous property with lovely views. Everything looks new and clean. Reception were very friendly and helpful. You park at the top of the hill and walk down a bit through the windy pathways and a couple steps. It was not real easy to find, but we finally did.

Really excellent. No issues at all.

- The room is excellent, modern, clean. The balcony was super nice.
- The placement of the hotel is very convenient if you come by car. You can park at the designated area (they even send you a video of where it is) and then it's a short 4 minute walk down to the hotel. Just a few stairs to deal with. They even offer to help if you have a lot of luggage. (We were fine!)
- The shower is amazing!
- The hotel's common areas are very cool!
- The host was super-helpful without being overbearing. Gave us all the information we needed.
- I saw some critical reviews about the breakfast but I thought it was fine. It had some freshly made eggs and all the usual spreads, it was all pretty good and well laid out. And big plus, they don't force you to come at 7 - 8 am for it but rather ask you what time you prefer.

A beautiful outdoor terrace to enjoy breakfast, cool indoor places for hanging out, and your own little deck overlooking Nafplio. The staff was super helpful and kind. The parking is a little tricky, but they clearly spell that out. There are quite a few stairs down to the heart of the town, but you're not in a hurry, right? We loved our stay.

We were in the middle of a 3 week trip to Greece, with heavy bags, and it was a challenge to navigate down the hill and status safely (we’re in our mid 60s/early 70s). There were even more steeper steps down to the old city). Property is well kept, just beware

This property was close to the square. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was great. Although the reviews say there is confusion about parking, we found it easy enough. Also, please note that at least there is parking. Many of the hotels do not have designated parking and we saw many people having to park a long ways from their hotel and gaving to carry their luggage theough the town. We did. It have to do this. Some of the reviews complain about the steps. Nafplio, like most places in Greece, has lots of steps. Walking up and down steps to get to and from the hotel is not uncommon. I would definitely go back to this hotel and recommend it.

The hotel is lovely, high enough up the hill to have a lovely view of the rooftops. Breakfast was very good.
My only complaint is that Expedia is a terrible way to book and I won’t ever use this site again. Another hotel- not this one- I booked on Expedia apparently doesn’t work with them, but they went ahead and sent me a confirmation anyway. This led to a very difficult aura where we needed to find a new hotel at the last minute. Expedia would not let me write a review to warn other travelers and the Expedia site is still taking reservations for that hotel!

Overall, book Hotel Amfitriti Palazzo, but not through Expedia!

I have a mobility impairment and it was not adequately explained to me in advance how hard it is to reach this property on foot while carrying several pieces of luggage. Not only is there no direct car access to the property, but one needs to go up and down several flights of slippery steps to get downtown from the property, which is located on the very top of the hill overlooking the city. Although the views are excellent, I would have gladly settled for no view at all and avoided the hassle and aggravation associated with accessing the property.

We got a spent covid test in our room. The reception staff is friendly but doesn’t help much. I have seen the term boutique hotel used in various ways - here it is an eclectic colorful furniture assembly in a building that construction had maximized for number of rooms to sell.

The building is great with nice accommodations and fantastic views of Nafplio. The parking is a challenge and Google maps gets you stuck in a very small alley. Once you park in the public parking on the hill it is a challenging walk down the hill with luggage.

This is an adorable little hotel. The room was tiny but had a great balcony that we enjoyed late into the evening overlooking the city. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff was friendly. The only issue we had was finding the place! Google maps will get you close, but it is tricky to figure out that you have to park in a public area above the hotel and come down a narrow path through the old city wall to the hotel.

Great View!

This hotel was wonderful and we had a great balcony overlooking the town and water. The breakfast was great with lots of options. The room was very spacious and even had a little table for us to sit at. The parking is unusual, but worked fine for us. You have to park on the road above the hotel and then walk down with your bags. If you do not drive, you will be walking up about 75 steps from the town with your bags! We did get lots of exercise during the two days we were there with all the up and down the steps!

difficult to find and to park. if you're only staying for 2 nights don't bother you'll spend half the time looking for it. napflion is not that charming. it's like so many ancient walled cities and not even as nice as most of them. i have no idea why the greeks rave about it. perhaps it's their only one? not worth it folks; you'll be in cafes with unfriendly french tourists and looking at people looking back at you.

We spent three lovely days at this hotel and for the view from its balcony alone it was just perfect! We were communicated with more than once by the hotel to give us very detailed instructions on how to find the hotel (easier from above than below), which were very useful given it is in the old town of many streets. Our room was cool, clean and chic. The breakfast each morning was delicious. The receptionist helped us orientate ourselves and gave us great restaurant recommendations. It was a very hassle-free and enjoyable stay!

This hotel would not work with me on changing my date. They had availability on the day I wanted to change to, but they simply were not flexible and do not care if they provide good customer service. I would not stay here, as their reservation woman was very rude and unwillingly to assist. Repeat customers are simply not a priority for them. I have seen this hotel, and it is dated and in a remote hilltop, not the best location in Nafplio. Book somewhere else.

Beautiful views overlooking the city and the sea, but very difficult to find. They definitely need to send instructions with your booking. GPS was not correct, and sent us walking down a very narrow street that is actually way below the property. But back to our stay! Beautiful property, views, warm and helpful staff. Our room was very comfortable, and Breakfast was lovely! We would stay here again.

Great views of the city from all rooms... even the first floor ones. Very well maintained interior with stylish decor. Breakfast was very good and terrace was beautiful! Internet access was very reliable and fast. Only downside was access to the hotel. It requires a number of steep steps and isn’t a good option for anyone with mobility issues.

We stayed here for 3 nights during a cold patch in January. The hotel was lovely and warm, the staff welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. The steps to the hotel were a good way to work of all the lovely food in Napflio. Its a good location, it would be hard to find but Sakis sent us a video and we managed to find it easily. There are some old dodgy looking derelict flats covered in graffiti next to the car park we were a bit worried but the car was fine and we never encountered any problems. I would recommend the hotel definitely. The location is great for the square and old town.

Nice hotel - a little tough to find

Very sweet hotel, amazing views and extremely helpful staff. Make sure that you get the directions to the hotel before hand if you are driving. I know that the staff tried to email me the directions but it didn't come through. Interestingly after several emails with my last hotel on Hydra, I didn't get a return email. They had my cell bc I had given it to them and called to confirm the day before. I think Expedia is having issues right now with emails to guests from hotels.

GPS will drop you off in an area that makes Walking Dead scenes look good. We laughed so hard - and then spent 45 minutes trying to find our real hotel. It's actually right below this area - you take a path and some stairs and you're there.

They were decorating for Christmas when we left -

We enjoyed our stay...comfortable beds, clean, great view, and great breakfast. It's location, beside the fortress wall, takes some work to get up to, or down to, if you take a taxi or drive to it. We walked to it from the bus station. Close, but a large staircase up.

A great base to explore the northern Peloponnese.

The Amfitriti Palazzo is a small boutique hotel in the old town of Nafplio. It is modern and clean and run by friendly and efficient staff. The hotel is right at the top of the town, so it involves quite a climb (c.70 steps) each time you return from a bar/restaurant. But as a result the views are fantastic. Nafplio has several excellent restaurants (avoid the touristy ones on the seafront).

This hotel is nice and good value for your money.

The view from the balcony was incredible. The room itself was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice. The fresh pressed orange juice and homemade baked goods were nice touches. We had no complaints about our time there.
