Great location. Helpful staff. Our room need some general renovation. Not horrible, but the bathroom was especially dated and the fixtures were not in great repair. We got good value for our money, but the property needs to spend some money if they want to keep charging what they charge.

The owner/manager and his staff were lovely and very helpful. They make a lot of their own foods for the breakfast which are really delicious (home made jams, spinach pies etc).
The hotel is old but very clean and comfortable and everything worked perfectly.
The position is perfect for strolling around the town or the climb up to the fortress.

The staff were super friendly and provided great customer service. The breakfast was so wonderful!! Homemade food, fresh squeezed orange juice and Greek and other specialty coffees!! What a great deal included with this place. Try r place was clean and I felt safe being a woman travelling alone.

The staff at the Dias was amazing!!! They made us feel like honored guests in their home. The room was spacious, shower was large, location was wonderful (easy walks to all of the old town and at the base of the steps to the fortress is you want to walk to the fortress).
The breakfast was fantastic. I told my wife that we paid for the breakfast and the room was the add on.
If we ever go back to Nafplio we will stay at the Dias again.

This hotel met my needs for convenience at a great rate. The personal touch of the staff exceeded my expectations! Always friendly and informative with Greek history. The homemade breakfast was delicious! The owner prepared many of the classic Greek dishes. They should open a cafe business. The food was just that good. I look forward to my return visit.

With the boundaries of the \"old town\", a family run business, the owner and family members all made us welcome. The breakfast was amazing, with lots of family cooked offerings. Hotel was decorated beautifully and our balcony over looked the street and castle.

What a breakfast!

Charming hotel with large room in old city (near land gate). Breakfast was included and incredible - jams and spreads made by the mother-in-law from her own fruit trees, pastries hand made by the wife, etc. Parking is scarce, but the port lot is only about 4 blocks away. I left my big luggage there and took a small bag to better negotiate the twisty staircase.

A perfectly quaint and homely boutique hotel suited for a quaint town such as Nafplio. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The rooms were airy, clean and very comfortable and breakfast was excellent. I would stay if I visited again. Note that the location is perfect as it is in the old town and a very short walk away from the bus station.

The Dias Hotel was just perfect! First of all, the breakfast is amazing! The pasties and eggs and bacon were delicious. The owner made us fresh squeezed orange juice that tasted heavenly. The staff was warm and friendly. They were extremely helpful with recommendations. I loved this hotel!

The Dias is very conveniently located adjacent to paths to the castle and old town. We especially enjoyed visiting with our very personable and aaccomodating hosts, who gave everything their personal touch. Breakfast was incredible! Special thanks to Thano for securing an electrician for a car jump start.

Great location! Hotel is situated in the downtown old town so you can walk everywhere . Parking is free but you must park down the street. Owners and reception staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They gave us local tips and a map. Recommendations on restaurants. We left a ring in the room and they emailed us immediately to arrange delivery. AMAZING BREAKFAST! room a bit dated and need of renovations however spacious and clean. Great for the night. Thanks

Excellent location in the city centre near bus station but not far from the sea and beach . The hotel is in a quiet side street. Nafpio has a large selection of various cafes. There are 2 supermarkets in the city: one 5 minutes walk from the hotel, and Lidl about 10-15 walk. Many touristic place. Many tourist places in the city and nearby: Mycenae, Epidaurus. You can get not only by car, but also by bus.

The hotel is comfortable, room is clean, staff are friendly

Wish they had replaced the old bed!

Really old bed with leather peeling off the frame. Wish they'd replace the bed because it made appear unappealing and dirty.

Room was really small, hardly any space to put our luggage. As the hotel wasn't full, we kinda wished they had given us a room upgrade.

TV was not working though we followed instructions with the 2 remote controls. Bathroom was surprisingly modern & absolutely spacious & clean. There was a mini fridge with 2 bottles of drinking water, no kettle.

Good hotel in a good location with an excellent breakfast. Homemade jams and homemade suites were especially delicious. Nice furniture, nice decor, walking distance to everything. No on-site parking, but public parking available nearby, which is probably true for all hotels in central Nafplio.

This is a small 11 room hotel. The furnishings are a little tired however the room was very large and comfortable and it was very clean. The breakfast was vast and delicious. This is a great area for walking around, with beautiful marble streets and interesting shops. We were there in early December and everything is very quiet with barely anyone around. As per most of our trip we were the only people in the restaurants. The hotel is a little hard to find and even though the GPS says it is a pedestrian only street, you can drive up to the door and unload your luggage and then go and park near the marina.

The breakfast was really good with fresh squeezed oj. Everyone who worked at the hotels were extremely helpful and courteous. The rooms were decorated in the Victorian style. The mattresses, however, need to be replaced.

Great room, great breakfast, close to everything

The hotel is located in a narrow street so it was a little difficult to find parking at first, but once we got there it was great. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and even at the end of our stay they offered to let us keep our luggage there for the day if we needed. It is only 10 minutes to the nearest beach (lovely beach!) and the hotel is in a great location for restuarants, cafes, shopping and site seeing. It was quiet, comfortable and we felt it was a safe neighbourhood. If you're looking for somewhere great to eat, try Trendy near the port. The buffet breakfast here was excellent! You could squeeze your own orange juice, and there was even hot food in the buffet (which we don't see very often!). Everything was delicious. It's a shame we only spent one night here. We would definitely come back :)

We have spent 2 days there and really enjoyed. One more would have been nice. Hermes car rental 50 meters down the street offers great service and ability to rent a car for sighseeing trips which I recomend.

The front desk man, Michael, was incredibly helpful with all the bus information and how toget to others areas. He also helped out calling the ATELIER bus services to help me plan my trips to nearby cities with the correct bus times. The hotel was so close to the bus station too!

The room was super clean and comfortable. I was happy that I still had room in the bathroom and the door wasn't so close to my knees like other hotels in Greece.

Just be careful of that last step in the first floor. It's a lot higher than the rest! No elevators but a workout never hurts anyone.

Def coming back!!!

Great value in Nafplio

I booked the Dias at the last minute at an excellent rate. As with any hotel in Nafplio, it was a quick walk to the shops, restaurants, and waterfront. The room itself was very small, but the price was right (and who spends much time in their hotel room when in a beautiful city like Nafplio)? If you're taking the KTEL bus to get into town, the stop is about a block away from the hotel, which is ideal.

Decent hotel, decent price

This hotel is in a great location, especially if you're arriving in Nafplio by bus. It stands in a quiet neighborhood on the edge of the old city, and there are plenty of restaurants within a five-minute walk. The interior/decor of the hotel looks a bit outdated, but the room was clean and comfortable. The shower was typically small (no big deal for me, although the description did say the room had a jacuzzi tub), and the bathroom was three steps up from the level of the rest of the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast more than adequate (including fresh squeezed orange juice).

Staff was very friendly and gave us lots of ideas to make our visit more enjoyable. The owner was very knowledgeable about the history of Greece. For visitors that haven't studied the region He gives a good idea of what you will be seeing. It was nice to be in the walking area so you didn't have to deal with traffic.

Great Place in a Beautiful Town

We had three nights in Nafplio and were delighted with Dias! One of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. The staff were great especially the lady in charge of breakfast. She is up early to bake fresh cakes (try the apple and cinnamon), as well as cooking eggs and bacon, and could not do enough for us including running out to get a box of English tea for me! Simply perfect!

Nice little place

Dias is ideally located in the old city of Nafplio, the rooms are great however the service we received was not good. They forgot to clean our room and we could hardly ever find anyone at reception. However when they were present the staff was very accomodating.
