This property gives a great bang for your buck. The price is wonderful for a three bedroom two bath apartment with a pool, gym and other games like ping-pong and pool. Staff are helpful, friendly and responsive.

The apartments are comfortable and the AC is fantastic! You won't be hot in these apartments. The rooms were clean and included a washer and area for drying clothes. Cleaning service is available when requested. No cable television but they are connected to internet so you can watch whatever service you use such as Netflix, Prime Video or Youtube. The kitchen has basic items in it and a microwave. Water is available on another floor or for a small fee you can buy a water bottle for a provided dispenser.

Breakfast is available but not plentiful and not that great. But, free snacks are available any time.

The condition of equipment in the gym, pool table and ping pong table are poor and available bicycles. They are not maintained and some things are falling apart.

The building is old and the walls are not painted and kept nice. There seems to be no budget for maintenance. Windows in the apartments are old and don't seal well, letting in the heat from the outside.

Overall, however, this is a comfortable and friendly place to stay. It is a great value for the money.

The worst apartment so called suite i ever stayed with my family. Its so dirty, the smell of old apartment. The plate is dirty.. The bathtub we need to clean ourself because its too dirty. Most of the things inside the apartment need to change. Oven kettle toaster the condition is too bad too dirty! Eventho we are not using it. Not worth for money.

I get free upgrade to 2bedded room suite. Actually everything is good. Soft pillow and bed, got washing machine, refrigerator, sofa, tv, cutleries, kettle. BUT its too dusty! I can see the pile of dust everywhere. Dead cockroach too. I have to clean the rooms myself. Been requesting for room service but no action taken. And the toilet seat is broken 😅 I wish the rooms have been cleaner, it would be perfect!

The unit was old, bathrooms were not in the best conditions. Yes, we got a whole unit to ourselves : a double room, living room, kitchen and bathrooms. But they were not in their glossy conditions (and dusty in many places). Hence, with the same amount of money, I'd suggest to get elsewhere that offers just a room; a clean and nice one (if you dont need the living room and kitchen).

The first unit that we were offered has a musty, old building kind of smell. We asked for a change but they said all units are the same. (Fortunately) the light in the bedroom was not working and they were not able to fix it, hence we were offered a change.

The second unit was slightly better as it did not have the musty smell. But in terms of conditions and furniture-age, i think they are equally old.

This hotel definitely is NOT a 4-star resort as posted by hotels.com!!
We stayed at 2-bedroom suite 604 and 1-bedroom suite 607. Both suites are terribly dirty and run down! Hair found in the master bathroom bath tub. No shower curtain or door in all bathrooms. Shower heads are half functioning with water spread over the tub and wet bathroom floor. Molds are all around the bathtub and the vanity sinks! Stove and fridge are extremely old and run down. Molds also found along the baseboard along the wall in the living room as well. It was a terrible experience for us. We will never return to this place again!!

Never stay here. Spend a little extra for a proper hotel if you can. We will not make the mistake of staying here ever again.

The state of the property is decrepit. Furniture and facilities in rooms were broken, every textile was dirty and stained, so were the walls. Reception is never there, phones are never answered and when they are, they don't speak English or Malay.

We were given a room which was terrible and upon returning the second night, found our front grille and door unlocked and no electricity in the unit. Our belongings could have been stolen and we felt extremely unsafe.

After complaining, we were given a different room which was only slightly better. The breakfast was as pathetic. Honestly, just avoid this place. What was supposed to be a quick getaway to the island turned out to be a painful one.

A good stay for family trip

Everything was good. The initial step into the rooms made us mesmerised by the interior. It was so nice as it potrayes classic and vintage style! IRooms were hygiene and tidy. Only bathrooms were a bit old but all equipment function well. Overall, it was a great reasonable and recommended night stay for a family.

Parking bay is inside a 24 guarded area. Swimming pool is big & have jacuzzi at the side of the pool. They also provide gym, a snooker table and cafe. Convenient store just in-front of the main gate.

But the floor of the apartment is very dusty, bathroom is dirty. No washing machine but the pipe is there. The balcony sliding door cannot be closed properly. The furniture is old fashion. The Wifi is not fuction at all. Overall, my stay at the apartment for 3 days & 2 nigths was ok.

I have booked this for a short family trip for 3 person of my relatives. It was a bad experience for both them and me. please look at the pros and cons below:

Pros:
- service apartment which multiple choice of room amount
- located in a housing area with a mini market infront of the condominium
- one parking lot per unit

CONS:
- very bad cleaniness. very dusty and when cleaners are called in, the work done wasnt satisfactory

The floor was very dirty upon entering the apartment. Yes, we had to wear shoes after that!! There were many mosquitos too!!

Bed sheet was not clean and water leaking in bathrooms!!

A staff showed impatient attitude when service was requested!!

Breakfast area was dirty with full of bug on the bread!! Breakfast was not ready on time!! Value for money of their breakfast is terrible!!

Ordered full breakfast which was supposed to come with chicken sausage. Asked where is the sausage? The answer is he started to work at 7am and sausages are not ready yet. What type of service is this???

Tucked away in a quiet residential area, the apart-hotel is green with plenty of shady trees at the property with a beautiful water cascading fish pond welcoming guests who are checking in. The check in was kept brief and the receptionist was very accomodative to the guests needs.

The room furnishing was eclectic, classic furnitures blended well with some contemporary pieces and every single fittings and furniture were well kept. The balcony/lanai overlooked the sea and the 1st Penang bridge. The bed is comfortable with the air-cond blowing directly on it and it felt cozy.

The kitchen is above average, much more equipped than any other apart-hotels in Penang. The dry area was very windy and had a usable washing machine where clothes dry very quickly.

The in-house restaurant is chic and has a good menu and prices were all reasonable.
Overall a nice stay and absolute value for money.

However what really bothers me the most is their service, i stayed 2 nights and i remember calling them at least once a day to fix the wifi ap in my room, and none action has been taken. For me it was okay for sleep purpose. The bed was a bit hard and can feel the spring. Aircon was down on 1 of the rooms and we call reception to fix it. Affordable, Cozy Stay for Family

Pros:
The price was affordable for a family of 5 adults and 1 child, ie 3-bedroom.
The swimming pool was quite big with hammocks and cabanas.
The breakfast was good for RM12 per head.
Location was central for what we had in mind.
Parking was secure with remote to access the main gate.
Kitchen has all the utensils you need to cook (but why would you when Penang has great food!).
View of the first bridge and the sea as well as the pool from the balcony.
Cons:
The aircond in the master bedroom was not working. They couldn't get it fixed.
There were trash on the balcony from the previous guests that were not cleaned.

I book 3day 2night 2unit with 3bed room/unit. But i only entitle to have 2 person to have a breakfast in the 1st day then the 2nd day the staff (indian uncle(very rude)) say we no have breakfast.

How come like this?2unit apartment only entitle 2 people breakfast.how come 1st day have breakfast 2nd day no have breakfast.

But the facilities at there is good, the guy in the receiption counter is very nice and helpful, no like the INDIAN UNCLE(very rude)

The apartment is located in a quiet neighbourhood. It is not near to any amenities. Though there are road side eataries along the road. The nearest mall is QueensBay Mall, about 10 min car ride away. However, no taxi will be driving by. You have to call for a taxi or Uber for one.

The communication of reception of night shift duty personal was not good. He did not accept me as Hotel.com guest and charged me cash once again despite of my booking. however in the moring they refunded the amount. AC in the master bed room was not working for two days. they were unable to rectify the problem, nor can change the room. it was not a pleasant experience. the only positive thing was the pool where my kids enjoyed in the day time. The accomodation was very satisfactory. We loved it very much. The only comment I hv is that, in spite of the room capacity being 4 bcos I booked a 2 room apartment, the breakfast coupon was only for 2 people. The other 2 would hv to buy their coupons for rm10 each if they wanted to hv breakfast there. Given that we were on Penang island where its a food haven, we might as well all go out and have a fantastic breakfast instead. Or is that the objective ?

A good place near the town

I stayed at this apartment for one night only. The rooms were spacious and the beds were properly made up. The kitchen was also clean and all the utensils were well-kept. Wifi was also available and the coverage was good. The place is near the city,so going to places was not much of a hassle. I definitely recommend this place to those who plan to do a family day. This would be the perfect place!

Nice hotel but not friendly to single black male

As stated above in my overall rating, I was a little disappointed in some of the staff because of their bizarre behavior toward me. That is, my room was searched by two hotel staff for unknown reason. I made a complaint with the manager however there was never a rational explanation given for the incident. Another staff person, on two occasions, followed me on the hotel grounds. I report these experiences with mixed emotions because other staff members were very friendly and presenting with a high degree of professionalism. I am a retired Police Officer so I feel quite secure in my observations.

First Trip to Penang

The was our first trip to Penang. We had looked at the things to do and the beaches and places to eat and shop. All in all the experience is similar to any other island in SE Asia except there is not a lot of excitment. Beaches in Ferrenghi were deserted which was kindly of nice, no crowds. Upper Penang Road was disappointing, was expecting a bit more of a lively atmosphere. I look forward to seeing the west coast when that area starts to grow and hopefully a more exciting atmosphere will be created for those of us who like to be a little crazy at times. Overall, Penang is a very nice place for family and to relax and do very little.

Excellent stay for big family

Took a 3 bedroom apartment which is value for money and got all the niceties ie staff service n great rooms. If they could improve their breakfast choices then it's perfect.

Great hotel for families!

It was a great experience for our family trip. It felt very cosy and we could see Penang bridge from the living room. All the rooms were clean. However there were problems with the air con which were rectified after the maintenance workers came. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast standard is quite poor though. Location is quite near the airport, though it's about 20 mins drive to Georgetown. It is alright with us as we had rented a car.
