Sliding glass doors were very hard to open and close leading out to the porch. The room was in need of an update and the ceiling plaster ground was coming down. Refrigerator was too small even for the spot it was in. The television was also too small for the size of the room.

The hotel room was great, clean and bed was very comfortable.
Skip the breakfast though. Instant oatmeal yet a fixings bar for real oatmeal. Prepackaged muffins that were frozen and defrosted. moisture inside the wrapper, and mookie, ew.
the hard boiled eggs were floating in water and vinegar? either way not fresh. Very disappointed in that part, even though it was free. Hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Kim, Liz, and Beans(my apologies I don't recall the guy from the Sat...Josh?) were all absolutely fabulous! Made my birthday weekend amazing!!! The food at the tiki bar was so good we didn't go anywhere else!! The staff were always helpful and very friendly!!! We will be back!!

Everything was great. Improvement could be made by mopping the beautiful hardwood floors in the room. My feet bottoms were very dirty. Common problem we have experienced in these floors elsewhere. Every thing else was super! Great., helpful staff.

Shower kept shutting off on us, the tiki bar closed at 9 which in my opinion being a “resort” is too early. The air conditioner hardly blew cold air and the lights being left on outside all night even with the blinds closed made it hard to sleep

The staff was AMAZING!
Danny helped with ALL the many questions we had about swimming with the Manatees. We ended up booking a private dive with Ross and Mark they were the ABSOLUTE best! They both are very knowledgeable and went out of their ways to make our experience incredible! And THANK YOU to Valerie for her hospitality and sweetness ♥️
The rooms could use some updating but who cares when you have an experience like we did! Hope to be back soon!

I love this hotel the beds are comfortable free breakfast and parking you can’t beat it. The food by the water is excellent definitely try the chicken strips and fries people there are super nice and just great all around. I have stayed there twice and will definitely be coming back.

The property is wonderful and the staff was exceptional. The only negative was the bathroom. It was too tight (small), the toilet was too low to the ground and there was no fan to take the steam out of the bathroom when showering. It was oppressive if you didn’t open the door. Otherwise everything was great.

After a bit of hassle checking in, we enjoyed our stay. The rooms are basic, but clean and spacious and the pool/tiki bar area relaxing. It’s an easy walk anywhere in town, so the location is perfect. We had a great breakfast selection that we weren’t expecting. And, the breakfast staff were really friendly - thank you for smiling at 6am!

To be honest the resort was lovely, but the check in process was horrible,

I booked 2 rooms they had rooms on the second floor but my husband has a bad knee.

We said we would wait for a downstairs rooms.
they said ok check back , well finally after 5 on a friday the rooms were ready , turns out the one room got done before , so we waited together as a family , over an hour for the next room, turns out the room we ended up with one had been available the whole time !!!

So we ended up waiting an extra hour until 5 that is really unacceptable.

The resort is nice and in a wonderful location.
Breakfast was very nice, plenty of options , different both days that's a plus.

I understand good help is hard to find these days .
But the hotel could have offered a drink at the tiki bar that would have been professional.

This facility was booked in order to participate in boating adventures. They do have a boat ramp though somewhat narrow. The issue arises when using the dock for tying up while launching, recovering or use for lunch at the grill. The dock space is signed for the hotel however the water adventure shop has dominated most of the dock. Numerous times I witnessed the dock staff yelling across the dock for someone not to dock their boat to use the facilities stating they had paddlers returning or other boats had priority. They did indicate a somewhat hidden spot one could use. My complaint, is that this becomes a hostile experience and was remarked on by others as well. I feel this could be easily remedied with clear signage stating which spots were open on a first come first serve basis. Otherwise, many would not return and I am one included. Even when I returned for lunch, since there was not a dock staff person to advise which slip I could use, I instead just docked next door at another welcoming restaurant to avoid the stress.

Lodge had nice amenities: breakfast, pool, hot tub, marina. But the bed was terrible. Mattress was uncomfortable and sat on a steel frame with a board on top. Frame was so noisy even if you just turned to change your position on the bed. Never experienced anything like that before. We only had a 2 night stay or would have requested a room charge, although after reviewing the pics online that seems to be how all the beds are set up.

Friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. We were assigned room 1201. After check-in, we went to the tiki bar. Food was very good. I had the smash burger and my boyfriend had the fried boneless chicken thighs - Nashville Hot.

The room was clean but there had been prior water damage. Unfortunately, the King bed was a mattress on a metal frame. The mattress was well worn and our backs let us know the morning of checkout. The metal frame made lots of noise whenever you turn over or get in or out of bed. The A/C worked well but was very noisy. After the first night, we left the fan on the continuous setting which helped with the noise. The rooms have beautiful plantation shutter s but no darkening curtains. We brought 2 beach towels from home and we used those to block out the light after waking up way to early the first morning. Our room was at the end of the building closest to the highway and the road noise from semi trucks was noisy. The property is well maintained but we didnt get the rest and relaxation we were looking for. The hot tub had teenagers in it and the temperature was probably in the upper 90's so we didn't get to enjoy it.

Didn’t like the fact that it cost money to access the water. I’m a plumber and they installed the cheapest toilet ( Glacier Bay ) in our unit and it would never flush correctly.
Breakfast is typical low budget stuff.

The breakfast was minimal. They were out of eggs an hour in to breakfast time, with an hour left. They did eventually make more eggs, but they told us they were out when we asked. Coffee was weak. I’d recommend skipping their breakfast and finding someplace else to eat.

The people there are excellent, from the front desk staff to the kind people at the tiki hut bar, the pool, and everywhere. The room was very clean and a really good size. It's right on the water with a nice pool and hot tub, with boat and kayak rentals. You can walk to multiple restaurants and bars. We've stayed there several times in the last couple of years and keep going back.

Good waterfront location with dining and bar on site. Pool and hot tub well maintained and while we couldn't locate pool towels, a friendly lady eventually came around with some small locker sized towels. Double beds almost kept us from choosing this location, but the rooms were adequate and the a/c worked. Expect not to have a room available until after 4pm check in time and be ready to wait again in line. Breakfast was included and there was good enough variety though not enough seating as breakfast was displaced for a meeting. Kayaks and boats available for rental as well as group tours and have good reviews. Plenty of food options close by with nice views and outdoor dining. It appears that they were recently acquired by Wyndham and small renovations were in process during our stay. Will likely stay again.

The room was roach infested. We were about to get ready for bed and found roaches around midnight. We had to wait until morning to speak with management to get this resolved. It did not get resolved. They stated we have to speak to expedia to have them do something. I reached out a few hours after and they stated the hotel took care of us expedia could do nothing. The services were not provided.

Regular double room was super clean and spacious. Great amenities for the price. Breakfast was average contential but was great. Wish they had more than half and half for coffee creamer, and if that's my only complaint, then I can't really complain. It was just a quick in and out one night stay for us, it made me wish we had restructured our road trip to spend a longer day there to enjoy the hot tub and pool on the water.

The lodge was near to the place where we booked our manatee experience. Breakfast was good and the restaurant served delicious sandwiches.
A/C didn’t work. Our room was at the second floor and the building didn’t have elevator, so be aware if you have mobility issues or difficulties carrying luggage trough the stairs

We got a suite that slept 6. It was perfect for our group of 5 women. We booked a manatee swim through the resort and it was awesome. The hotel is in walking distance to coffee, shopping and restaurants. Nice size hot tub and on the bay. I would definitely recommend.

The hotel is older, but has some updates. The breakfast room, lobby and pool area were all updated and looked great. We rented a suite and it had updated furniture and was very spacious. But, the bathroom fixtures were not all updated and the toilet/tub area was small. Overall though, it was nice and I would definitely stay there again!
