The staff were amazing. The restaurants had excellent food but service needs improvement. The grounds are beautiful. There are WAY TOO MANY KIDS. They are up all hours except early morning. They take over the pool leaving little for adults to enjoy.

First time coming to this resort and really enjoyed our time even it was a short stay. It’s a lot bigger than we thought but well laid out and lots of sun beds - it does get busy quickly though. Access to the beach is ideal and we enjoyed a walk in the evening. Lots of activities for adults and children throughout the day. Would certainly return :)

Beware! After reserving what was thought to be a three bedroom apartment, we were told after a long and late flight we would only be receiving a one bedroom. With two little children sleeping on sofas in lobby and having to watch customer after customer complaining about hotels dire/dirty conditions, poor customer service and no one answering the reception phone (probably due to having to deal with so many unhappy guests) they told us there was nothing they could do…even after offering to use our Bonvoy points and/or pay extra. Given Christmas was vastly upon us and Santa was on his way…(reason a one bedroom would not work with two little ones!) ;) After two hours of waiting and being sent back and forth from Expedia to Marriott (via email because again Marriott wouldn’t answer phone) they said we could pay for an upgrade at our Bonvoy rate. We decided to decline because in the meantime another hotel in Marbella (happy to share if allowed!?) offered us an amazing suit at an amazing rate..ultimately saving our Christmas! We kindly declined Marriotts 2 1/2 hour resolution and said we would like a refund which was agreed to. We told both Expedia and Marriott that night that we would be transferring to the other hotel at our own expense not having set one foot in the room at the Marriott. Long story short, we were charged in full and and the reservation was marked completed. Yet another very unethical move from two companies we have been very loyal to throughout the years.

The rooms are spacious and equipped with everything we needed for our week stay. The various lawn games throughout the property were a hit for our family. We also enjoyed the indoor pools and outdoor hot tubs (Jan stay), and were pleased with the cleanliness of the entire resort. A great place to relax and unwind.

Very large size apartments and a very well equipped kitchen. We visited with our 2 kids in December and the heated indoor pool and outside Jacuzzi were very enjoyable. The property has easy beach access and towels/robes are provided by Marriott.

Lovely resort, so clean, very secure with on site security. One very large family pool and small adults only pool, front line beach steps away. Very nice restaurant and chill out bar restaurant. On site supermarket which is super convenient with lots of choice. Very nice gym with heated indoor pool. Changing rooms with steam room and sauna in each of the ladies and men’s. Only moan is you can only check in from 16.00pm but want you checked out by 10.00am, also the wooden furniture needs updating in the rooms.

Amazing- complex well looked after and always been mended/ tended and cleaned. Two bedroom apartment - very spacious. Pools- 1 large with slides for kids, 1 indoor for all, 1 adult pool, 1 adult indoor and x2 hotpools. Breakfast was amazing and the staff could not do more from welcome to goodbye. What would have made it better would be an all inclusive option but the kitchen is so well stocked with dishwasher/cooker/ microwave, dishes /cutlery etc.... Also have washer/dryer / hoover. Also, vegan food in short supply - a bit better on this would have made it perfect but overall a 'Home from home'

If you are staying for a minimum a week this place is perfect! Restaurants are not open late. Nothing is closed by so you must rent a car. It is 18 minutes minimum to the Center of Marbella. We arrived at 11pm beyond starving. We only had breakfast and had 0 assistance in finding a delivery place. As much as I dislike McDonalds. It save us on our late dinning.

So many issues and probably not enough space for me to detail each one. The major issue was:
1. The rooms were not cleaned properly (the floor was dirty and underneath the bed was a clutter of dust). The bedsheets didn’t feel like they had been changed. House keeping do NOT change bedsheets unless you are staying more than 7 days. Anything other than turning over the bed, cleaning the bathroom and kitchen is an extra charge (including hoovering the floor).
2. The staff at Chill Out bar are very rude and seem to have an issue when asking for something so basic like a lid for my latte so I can sit by the pool and not spill it on to anyone between the bar and the chair.
3. The pool has a policy that towels will be removed before 10:30 if they are unattended. This was not the case for the 3 days I decided to queue (yes you have to queue) to get lounge chairs at 08:30 for the pool to be opened at 09:00. I could see many chairs unattended while everyone went for breakfast. It is pointless having this policy.
There is still many more, but as mentioned, there is not enough space for me to detail everything. I will be writing to the resort direct with my feedback.

It’s a great resort. The main thing to remember is that it is a timeshare place. So, if you want a boutique hotel, this isn’t it, however, can’t say enough about the service and resort. Marbella Beach resort is an amazing place. Pools are fantastic, the apartment was lovely and clean, more than adequate for 2 couples and each with our own private bathroom. It's situated right on the beach with walking distance to a selection of beach restaurants which were lovely. The on site dining facilities however let the experience down. We took the advice off the info leaflet and booked El Med for the evening, we didn't need to bother. It was almost empty and the average food explained why. Such a shame, if they invested in a top chef/restaurant this place would be top of the list.

e loved the giant pool and it always had lifeguards on duty for the kids safety. The chill bar and other restaurants were very good.
My only issue is the late check in. A lot of flights from the UK arrive very early into Malaga, so 4PM is too late (and our room was not ready until then). You are also required to leave by 10AM and they were knocking on the door. Do they really need so long to clean? The Hotel we went onto was 2PM check in and 12 check out.

The check in made some errors in billing, and that’s a first. We resolved it. Whats becoming annoying is the time share selling that’s so prominent. They offered free wine gift vouchers, but when we asked to trade for nine alcohol, wel that meant a good running around to other dept ant get the replacements gift. So we just dropped the idea and voucher. These little hick-ups in service are something that you should not have paying 400 euros a night.
I have to say, resorts are updating and modernising but it’s not the case here. The furniture looks in good state, but is getting dated.
The breakfast was great, super. Just the best. The pools are great. The on-site dinning is a bit limited and we eat of site, but you can self cater very wel as all rooms have great amenities.
So after a few years going to this resort, I still rate it highly, but if your expectations are are high, they may not always be fulfilled, but for sure, it’s a great place to send a few days...
