Older property with large spacious rooms. Good restaurant and bar. Considered an airport hotel but halfway to downtown. Not great location but we only used to stay one night then back to airport to head home. 15 USD cab ride or 7 USD tuk tuk. All staff try very hard to serve you well.

Very Good Hotel Near Airport

This is a clean and very comfortable 3 1/2 star hotel. It has well appointed room that are very large and spacious and all amenities you need. Located about 5 minutes from the airport. I have stayed here over the years as most of my connections are in this general area. Its located in Ratan Plaza that has some cafe and restaurants nearby. If I was on holidays I would not stay here but be more central in PP. This is a good hotel for a business trip.

Decent hotel close to airport

The hotel was a bit dark both in the lobby and room. Free breakfast was pretty good. The hotel’s room and towels had a strange incense type of smell to them. Rooms were clean and decent.

Great hotel near the airport-good food, gym, price

I was very impressed with the Dara Airport Hotel. It was recommended by my local manufacturing partner as this was my first trip to Cambodia. That is usually a safe way to go for me in a new place and it did not disappoint. It was quick taxi ride from the hotel and was impressed with the rooms. The beds were nice and clean. I used the gym which was nice with plenty of equipment. The breakfast was what I expected with a good mix of food offering that tasted great. I'm especially partial to the danishes! We had an early checkout one morning and they were very accommodating and arrange for their airport car to take us there.

Very convenience to the airport. A super market next door to the hotel is icing on the cake.
Booked the airport transfer to the hotel but not found the driver until I call the hotel. The car arrived in 10 mins.

Very nice hotel but rated lower due to location. Korean and Chinese food nearby but not all that special. Chinese karaoke everywhere you look but not much to do if you are not into that.

Solid place close to airport

We had an early departure from Phnom Penh Airport and decided to stay at this property.

The rooms are very big (far too big for a short overnight) and everything worked just fine. The breakfast buffet is quite extensive but we were not too keen on the food presented there.

Free shuttle to the airport made this a very convenient place to stay. DO NOT stay there if you need to go downtown; the commute is too long to justify this property.

Mix up at check-in

Hotel personnel very courteous. However, a mix up at the front desk and their reservation system placed me in a room at a building 400 meters from main building. I did not receive hotel transportation nor breakfast nor room that I expected from this reservation.
They also presented me a bill at checkout. Obviously, my account had been prepaid through Expedia, so, I am thinking they had be confused with another patron.
Uncertain exactly what happened, but after presenting my Expedia receipt, IDs, etc., at checkout, they agreed there had been some mistake, but unsure of what. Again, I think they had me confused with someone else, even with my passport. I suspect a bit of a language barrier. Thank you. CM

Beautiful Hotel with Ant infested rooms!!!!

My name is Steve Davis, Cdn. businessman. Stayed at hotel. Bed appeared clean but when I was sleeping I was attacked by at least 100 small ants. Management simply moved me to another room. They saw the ants but acted as though it was an everyday occurance. Just didn't care. Makes we concerned about kitchen facilities as well, Never again at the DARA Airport Hotel!!!!! Very clean hotel. Surprisingly close to airport which is very convenient as most flights into pp arrive late at night. Like having shopping right in complex, gave me something to do between meetings. Is removed from nightlife of Riverside and central part of city.

The hotel first of all charged me twice after they wouldnt change the booking I made on the wrong date, within 5 minutes of the booking and calling them, nothing was possible. Once on the ground, their check in process was long and complicated and the staff kept making comments about the booking being Expedia and how I had called to change it. Then upon check out, the downstairs concierge, made us go up back to the lobby not believing we had checked out, upon returning to the front desk, they made us go there for one question asking if we had taken anything from the minibar, once going back down, the guard didn't believe we had gone to front desk and had them both coordinate so we could leave. They then asked if we needed a taxi, which we did, they called this company which never showed up, then they told us the taxi was far and that we should be taking the hotel shuttle... Given that we were late, we had to agree to take the shuttle. overall disconnected service and doubtful...

The hotel was very nice, clean and close to shopping for my wife. There was even a golf course near by that I played for $0 plus $10 for the caddie. Course was not great but okay. Good fitness area and nice pool. Easy to get transport to the Airport 5 miles away. Good Wifi.

This attractive new hotel is located in a business park, a ten minute taxi ride north of Changi airport, so it was a very convenient location for us with our 7AM flight the next morning. The rooms are well appointed and thoughtfully designed. They are equipped with fully supplied mini-kitchens, but there are so many interesting restaurants in the adjoining shopping mall that you probably won't feel like cooking unless you stay for several days. Staff was extremely accommodating in all ways. We didn't get to try their free breakfast because of our early departure time, but the restaurant looked inviting. If we'd had more time, we would also have taken advantage of the bicycles they provide for their guests.

Good hotel, poor location

First the bad, it's not really an airport hotel! It's some distance and with Phnom Penh traffic it can take a while to get to the hotel which isn't ideal for the weary traveller. The hotel itself is very clean and the facilities are good, the rooms are spacious and the staff service was faultless. Overall I would recommend, just be aware of the distances!

I booked through Hotels.com and asked for extra pillows and an airport pickup. I gave them my arrival information but nobody showed up so I was forced to get screwed into paying $10usd for a 5 minute tuk tuk ride. Front desk told me it happens when you book through a third party website, they actually had my request on my reservation, they just didn't bother. Room service was ok but overpriced. The room and hotel was very clean.

Excellent hotel between Airport and City Center

Picked this for first couple of nights stay in Phnom Penh as is relatively close to airport and had a late arriving flight.
Modern, clean, well equipped air-conditioned rooms are amongst the nicest I've stayed in anywhere. Lovely firm beds. Friendly, helpful staff. Added convenience of some shops including fast food outlets and a supermarket on ground floors. Would certainly recommend this hotel unless you want to stay right in the centre of the city (but having said that it is only 15 minutes ride out from centre in a tuk-tuk).

Incredible service

The service is beyond excellent, from the porter, concierge and cafe staff, everyone was friendly and helpful. Special kudos to the staff at the lounge. We were waiting for our airport transport at the lounge, ordered 3 drinks and hung around for about 3 hours. During which the staff filled our snacks and water diligently, and always with a smile. It really left a great last impression of the place. The room was spacious and clean, gym is ok but the pool needs some cleaning. The hotel is situated in the same building with a mall, with a supermarket and a couple of fast food restuarant. The location of the hotel is a bit far from most attractions, but otherwise there isn't much to complain about.
