Hotel is not new but decent materials and equipments. However window is not possible to open and room has very bad humidity smell that makes hard to breathe and smells everything.

Nice location place a bit worn down but was only there a few hours for sleep I would actually go back if it wasn’t so expensive more like a 2 star hotel definitely not good for wheelchair users would be great if they decorated the rooms more but a pleasant stay

I was happy with the very friendly & helpful staff. They made up for any other unpleasantries. This is not a 4 star hotel. The reviews about the carpet & other outdated furnishings are correct. The hotel management should update this facility ASAP. I was kindly upgraded to a suite, which was nice, after I was still charged for a night I missed due to a late flight. The smell & the unsightly stains on the ceiling were not nice. The room was comfortable and clean. Ask for an extra key if you don't want the room to be hot if you leave. The safe was easy to use. I had to ask for the outside waiting area to be cleaned. Other than that, I have all good to say about the hotel. It is less than a minute walk to the above ground metro rail system- 30 minutes from downtown Porto for around 3.00 euro. There is a café nearby, a Pizza Hut, a cleaners, and a grocery store, all within a 2-3 minute walking distance. The only meal I had at the hotel was breakfast and it was well worth the cost of 5.50 euros. The breakfast attendant Samuel was over the top efficient & kind. Diana at the front desk was especially kind as well! My early morning trip to the airport was only 15.00 euro including the tip/ no traffic. This is a good location if travelling north to Braga or Guimaraes. Wi-Fi strength is good. They also have a Downtown Porto location in the middle of everything & seems to be in a far better condition. I popped in to check out the roof top bar & smoking section.

Upgraded to a suite, which was nice as we had lots of room for all our stuff. But housekeeping patchy and not done at all on second day. This is a one night stay hotel which is right next to Metro for Porto (which is why we stayed there) and very convenient for road connection to airport.

Unexpectedly Super Hotel

This hotel was tremendous. The proximity to public transit enabled venturing out with relative ease; my particular room was huge (technically a foyer, a bedroom, a secondary room, and a bathroom) and had a jetted tub; and the breakfast was fine, though the dinner might have been a little more thoroughly cooked/less aggressively salted. Nevertheless: I would 100% stay there again if I had business in the Maia regional area.

Very pleased with our 2 bedroom room , So our son had his own room. Only stayed one night as we were catching our plane early the next day. Certainly would recommend it very good value for money. Anna on reception could not have been more helpful, so friendly and polite.

Hotel 10 Minutes from Airport

Next to metro station for easy access to downtown Porto. There is no dedicated airport shuttle; hotel has contracts with variety of taxi services. We had an unmarked Mercedes car and a courteous driver. Hotel said the cost would be 18€; our driver charged 15€.

Airport convenient - don't depend on a wakeup call

An airport hotel that doesn't do a wake up call when you request it is worth nothing!! Fortunately I had still enough battery in my iPad to get the alarm but it could not have happened and I would have missed a flight with international connections. I made the claim at the front desk and the guy was totally unresponsive!!

Perfect hotel for airport stay

Stayed one night for business after a late flight, reception very accomodation at such a late time which was pleasing. Room spacious and clean, bed comfortable. Close to airport, taxi from airport €15.00 at 1am.
Breakfast good, plenty of choice from the buffet.

A little dated, but convenient.

The hotel was fine and well located in a nice neighborhood not far from the airport. The room was clean and comfortable, however, it was a bit humid and had a strong smell like it has been closed for long time. After leaving the window open for 4 hours, it got a little better.

taxi organised by hotel to go to airport was more costly E20 than taxi taken from airport E15 because hotel booked a shuttle car.

An early flight choice only.

Chose hotel due to proximity to airport. Chooses to eat in the hotel restaurant in the evening which was a mistake. Rump steak had to be returned and replacement was still like a minute steak. Only one choice of red wine on the menus. Breakfast equally uninspiring.

The rooms are clean but needs renovations.
The staff is very freindly and helpful.
It is only 1 minute away from metro station by foot. (20 minuts ride to airport by metro, only 1.7 euro)
Breakfast is ok.
Very good for 1 night layover.

Séjour très agréable ! Le personnel parlait très très peu français, mais plutôt bien anglais la majeure partie du temps. Le personnel était très accueillant.
Je précise que nous sommes tombés sur une cheffe cuisinière dont les plats étaient excellentissimes !

O hotel Premium Maia é uma boa opção de hospedagem na região. O quarto é bom, espaçoso e limpo. Os funcionários são muito atenciosos também. Sempre fui muito bem atendido por eles. Um ponto que poderia ser melhor é o café da manhã, pois acredito que poderia ter mais variedades, mas mesmo assim não deixou a desejar na minha opinião.
