Este hotel es conveniente por que queda a menos de 15 minutos del aeropuerto, puntos de encuentro de actividades turísticos y shopping mall. Es muy limpio y tiene lo básico para una estadía segura. Desventajas: Aunque cuenta con desayuno bufé a buen precio, no tiene cocina para ordenar meriendas durante el resto del día. Los ruidos del pasillo y del exterior se escuchan bastante dentro de la habitación. El primer día casi no pude dormir por los ruidos de afuera y las conversaciones del cuarto de al lado. Por demás todo estuvo bien.

Black molds in the shower. You cannot unseen it esp with white tiles.

Please take this to improve cleaning your shower ot get an industrial cleaner to remove the molds.

The location is 4-5 blocks away from most restaurants and groceries.

They provide soap, but bring your conditioner.

Staff are ok.

There is no fridge here. If you like buying juice or drinking cold beer in your room, There is no fridge, so if you are staying for more than three nights, get a hotel that provides one.

Stayed here for one night and its ok. If I need a one-night hotel this is ok.

The front desk staff were extremely helpful and kind. Great breakfast which was worth the extra charge just so we don’t have to worry and rush in the morning. The bonus is that lunch is served until 12pm.

The toilets have gunk.the soap dispensers and even the lavatory hole are filthy. Guests are super noisy after midnight which is insane.

Our room had no fridge as it is advertised in pictures, safe in room had no key; mentioned something about going to the front desk to get the key for the safe. Didnt bother with it as it should be all ready to use in room.
The room was simple a bed and walls.

They offer free breakfast from 7 to 12, the rooms look like it may have been a dorm room but it serves it's purpose. The price was good but the hotel is far away from anything so you make up the difference on cabs.

The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ample, breakfast is served until midday, continental style. With just scrambled eggs if you want a hot breakfast. Evening meal was available, but you order it and it is then shipped from another hotel as they do not have catering facilities for meals other than breakfast. Room very clean and tidy, everything you need. Kettle with tea and coffee in the room, towels and hair dryer provided. Two lifts, very efficient. Quiet room. Air conditioning. 20 minute walk to the nearest Metro then just a few stops until you are in the middle of Porto. 15 minutes in a taxi from the Airport. Great place to stay.

Reasonably priced hotel close to city

We self drove and had little difficulty in finding the hotel, particularly with its bright colours.
Appears to be a very popular hotel and is close to two bus stops which takes about 20 minutes to get to the city, depending on traffic. Our room (twin) was very good and our breakfast was more than adequate. We appreciated the on-site secured parking. Would stay again

Good value for the price. 10 min drive from downtown. Checking in was easy although the Reception weren’t nice.

At first this seems like a hotel tucked in the corner of some housing blocks, however it's very close to resources, buses to the beach and the river are within walking distance. The cafe here is available 24 hours. For drivers it's close to the highway.
For some reason, my favorite part of the room was the shower. I liked the overhead shower head.
The staff is very helpful and enthusiastic. And the area is relatively quiet. It's a deceptive little \"star\" in the 'hood.

The room was clean and average. Stayed in room 803, beware walls are thin, in the bathroom you could hear the working staff above speaking as if they were in the same room as you.

Definitely not in city center. You could take a local bus and pay onboard to reach city center in 15mins.

The hotel was okay but I wanted to sleep until a bit later than the usual as i was on holiday but the cleaners were talking very loud and making noises I called the reception they said they were going to tell them but nothing changed, so I had a shower before leave the hotel when I was trying to dry my hair the dryer stopped called the reception again someone came and said I had to wait because it was over heated and I just started drying my hair it was a nightmare checked out one day before and went to another hotel.

Bargain Hotel in Quiet Location

This hotel is a little off the beaten path but a quick taxi ride to the major attractions. It was pleasant, clean, and the free breakfast was good. It appears to be a destination for business travelers. The decor is outdated and a little worn. Still, for the price- it’s a good choice.

This hotel is modern looking. Although A/C and television are working, room is clean, it is in need of renovation. The breakfast buffet is full of assorted goodies. They accommodated a dietary request. It is a no frills hotel. A clean bed, a couple of towels, near the airport, no views, room dark and dingy. There are several local restaurants and a pharmacy in walking distance. If you are staying within a budget, overall good value.

Hotel staff of Star Inn Porto Low Cost Hotel were excellent. Thanks to them, I had a very good trip in Porto, even though I was not speak Portuguese at all. Hotel staff at the front desk spoke clear English and gave me useful information for public transportation. One staff assisted me in taking a taxi when I departed to the airport. Facilities of the hotel were old, but there was not a problem. The interior of hotel room had bright color and pretty. Towels and bed sheets were sufficiently clean. There was no bathtub, but the shower head in the shower booth was not fixed on the wall, so I was able to wash and clean my whole body. This is very important to me when staying at a hotel. The price was reasonable and the stay was comfortable.

We were very happy with our stay at Hotel Star Inn. It was a break from hostels for us, so even though the room was a bit small it felt like relative luxury. The beds were very comfortable. There is a TV in the room with 60 channels which became our guilty pleasure while in Porto after months of traveling. Small fridge and electric kettle in room also. Room was cleaned daily. Staff were helpful, letting us know which buses to catch and printing our boarding passes for us.
The breakfast was plentiful - fresh croissants, various cereals, fruit, yoghurt, bread rolls, muffins spreads, ham, cheese, hot and cold drinks. As we were traveling on a budget we definitely made the most of this! The cafeteria is otherwise uninspiring and expensive by Portugal's standards, so we didn't eat there apart from breakfast.
Location is not great and we were quite surprised at first that the hotel seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. However there is a supermarket and laundromat in walking distance, and buses close by to take you to the city or the beach for 1.85 each way. (Ask the staff about the buses as you may not find anything online). Taxi to the city centre is about 7 - 8 euro. Taxi to airport around 20 euro.

The hotel is incredible good value for money, the staff goes the extra length, the hotel is clean, the design is nice, not single problem!
It is obviously quite far away from the citry centre, but you do know that when you're booking here, right? Bus service is good and fast to get you into the city, and there's bus night service as well, so once you learn your ways, it's no longer a problem.
And it's even an advantage, as the local restaurants are very cheap as they're out of the tourist catchment area.

The rooms were awesome as was the breakfast. The wifi shouldnt be advertised especially when there is a 100 person max. We were only able to get on it once, and as our flights were cancelled this made it very hard for us to be able to re-book anything or even get notification that it was cancelled.
