The man that was on staff ( I’m sorry I don’t remember his name) was always available and took great care of our room as well as creating a delicious breakfast buffet. One of the nicest places we've ever stayed at... Lovely room at back (quiet) with high ceilings and a small side room (by the window) with a sink, fridge & small table. Breakfasts were excellent, owners very nice and helpful, and we even got a free lift to the airport (with another couple who were also at the hotel)!

We loved the Porto Music Guest House. And our host went above and beyond \"the call of duty.\" No one could have been more help than he was. (At the end of this paragraph I've described what happened, and what he did for us.) Our room was large, comfortable, and very quiet. Bathroom facilities spacious and excellent. The owners/hosts were as nice and as helpful as could be. The entire staff was also. Breakfast was delicious and different each day. Our host went way beyond the call of duty. I needed to see a dentist on our first day in Portugal. I called our host, explained what had happened, and he said that he would see about everything. He did. He scheduled an appointment with a dentist, took us there, waited while I had excellent treatment, and took us back to the hotel.

After a four night stay, I can say that I have never experienced such a personal level of service in another hotel. Owners Antonio and Suzanne have a genuine interest in maximizing the experience of each guest in this seven-room, boutique hotel.
The hotel design retains the warmth of a classic building combined with modern fixtures and room appointments.
The daily breakfast was something my party of four looked forward to each morning.

Sejour agreable, porto est une ville que l on peut visiter a pied a condition d etre un peu bon marcheur. Le centre est fantastique et les quais du douro tres sympa..se restaurer a porto n est pas un probleme et visiter les monuments non plus..tout etait parfait et nous avons prefere porto a lisbonne qui est une ville plus impersonnelle...une excellente ambiance ou que l on soit et les portuguais sont d une infinie gentillesse...

Wunderbare Unterkunft zentral in Porto
Wunderschönes kleines familiengeführtes Hotel. António und Susana kümmern sich um alles um den Aufenthalt so schön wie nur möglich zu gestalten. Die Zimmer sind sehr schick, das Frühstück ordentlich, sodass man an den nahegelegenen Bushaltestellen oder der Metro-Station zu einem täglichen Städtetrip starten kann.

Feeling at home with Susanna and Antonio
We had a good and very relaxing stay with Susanna and Antonio who are both very hospital and going over the normal limits to make sure their guests a feeling good...On our arrival day we didn't have energy to go into Porto Old Town, and told Antonio we just wanted to find a place near his place to eat.. He literally took us under the arm and walked us to a nearby cozy market places with several eating places, that became our favorite place to dine for the next couple of days... Rooms are big and very clean with free beverages and Antonio even offers a local glass of Port wine on arrival.. WIFI is good and they have also very tasty breakfast..Every morning there where new and tasty Portuguese cakes...The only small minus as a business traveller where the time of breakfast that was a bit too late for us, but Antonio offered to make an earlier breakfast just for us... Porto Music house is about 20 min. walk from the city center, but a taxi costs only 5 Euros and there have a taxi place just around the corner... Behind Porto Music House you can also find easy parking space, that at night time even is completely free...
