The good points. Location is very good for the Metro which is a short walk away. There is also a really good food court nearby and other restaurants. Casa de Musica is just over the road and there is a lidl supermarket nearby. This accomadation seems to be a mix of appartments and rooms. I booked a room which was quite cosy but was at ground level and next to the road. This meant it was quite noisy with road traffic.
The room had everything required, kettle, coffee machine.

The badpoints - room cleaning was only once in a 5 night trip. I contacted the hotel via hotels app with no response. This was due to a blocked shower tray meaning showers were not really possible. I managed to catch the cleaning staff who were cleaning one of the other rooms who managed to fix this and actually cleaned the room. Be prepared to bring your own coffee/toilet roll as these were not replenished. You may also need spare towels.

Also of note is the porto tourist tax which has to be left in the appartment as cash and is not part of the price on hotels.com

Check in was easy. Location was decent. The apartment was clean but not well maintained. There was mold in the shower ceiling, stains on the sofa and missing cabinet handles. Our room was not cleaned the second day. When i emailed them they were extremely rude and unprofessional in their multiple replies. Would not recommend.

The location is convenient — very close to Casa da Música and a nearby market, which was helpful. However, the stay itself was quite disappointing.

The room had no soundproofing whatsoever. I could hear everything from pedestrians on the street to the entrance door swinging, which made it difficult to relax or sleep comfortably.

The biggest issue was with the host. He was unprofessional, rude, and very slow to respond to messages. On the first day, the room had not been cleaned. When I brought this to his attention, instead of addressing the issue, he accused me of lying and told me to “be more honest.” Even after realizing I was telling the truth, he never apologized or acknowledged his behavior. It was very disrespectful.

Overall, I would not recommend staying here and will definitely not be returning.

I will not book there again

If you're a late sleeper, this is not the place to stay. They only clean rooms between 9 AM and 12 PM, but since we weren’t out by 9, our room wasn’t cleaned. Then the weekend came, and no one cleaned our room at all. We had to go out and buy trash bags and toilet paper because they only provide one roll. In my opinion, it's not a great place to stay. The location is convenient, but beyond that, there's not much to recommend.

Would NOT recommend; we found a roach on our second day. There was also terrible drainage in the shower so it kept backing up with water and overflowing. Tried to reach out to the hotel but they are IMPOSSIBLE to reach. Do not answer phones or messages. Terrible customer service.

There are many positives and two negatives. The studio was very clean and spacious: five stars. The most serious negative is that thete was NO number posted to call if you had problems! Suppose you couldn't get in, or if you were in and a pipe burst or a toilet overflowed?! The only other negative is that there were concerts at Casa da Musica two nights until midnight, which kept us awake. We could deal with that, but the anxiety created by no one to contact means we would not stay there again. Too bad, for such a nice place otherwise.

Property was convenient and modern with all you need for a few days. Lots of hairs in the bathroom. Communication was non existent. Staff did mot answer any emails or phone calls. Price does not include tourist tax and there was no way to pay with card or get a receipt, so who knows who got this in the end? Check in details are sent by email 24 hours before check in starts, they then send access codes after 3pm on the day you check in so you have to check your emails so you can get in the property…they do not make this clear.

I booked this apartment for my birthday holiday which turned out to be not as enjoyable as i hoped. On the first day the water stopped running till the next morning which was as you can imagine very inconvenient and extremely stressfull. Spending nearly half the night contacting the property owners with no luck and being on hold with Expedia with no luck the issue did not get sorted till the next morning. So the whole day could not use the taps or the toilet therefore could not wash myself and missed my prayers. The area outside was super noisy and you can hear all the traffic as though you were outside. Unfortunately would not come back. Overall experience was not pleasant.

The property itself was very nice. The pull out bed mattress was quite dirty. As well the outside door did not work, leaving us locked out/in the place for almost a full day before it was fixed. After not getting a response from the property, I contacted Expedia who was able to get ahold of them. It was very unfortunate having the self check in because nobody was there to fix this for quite a while and we lost valuable time to explore the city. It was fixed later that day but the lack of in person contact in the beginning made it very challenging. It was a very nice room, just the unfortunate broken door caused our stay to be a little less enjoyable then what we had hoped.

Apartment itself good, but be aware of location

The apartment itself was clean and fairly comfortable. Be aware of the self service check in, which caused us a few issues as we arrived early and therefore had nowhere to leave our luggage (and when we left Porto as well).

The apartment is well located to access Casa De Musica, Parque de Ciudade, Matosinhos and Palacia. However, its quite a way to Gaia and Ribeira and only really doable by Metro or Tram (unless you want to walk a lot!).

This property was an excellent location, in a lovely area near transportation. It was very clean.
I did have an issue which was not resolved and I was not happy about. I book apartments when I travel so I can eat some meals at home. When I booked at FMO Apartments I was under the impression I had booked an apartment with a bedroom for two people. As in double bedroom. Much to my horror, I had no apartment just the bedroom. The apartment building has 2 rooms with ensuite on the ground floor at the main entrance. There was a coffee maker, no fridge, no where to sit except your bed, enough storage for 10 ppl and the noisiest door slamming all hours as people come and go to their apartments upstairs. In fairness, other reviews have mentioned this but it is hard to understand the concept till you experience it. The room was a sweat box. The heat was set, no air conditioning, we said it was too hot they told us to turn off the heat (obviously) but no air flow. The windows did open but we were street level, the road was busy with people at night and we did not feel comfortable with open windows. Again in fairness, my booking did state I booked a double room however as I was booking in an apartment building called FMO Apartments it did not remotely occur to me I would be getting just the room. I would have booked a hotel room and at least had some amenities. Moving forward, would I stay there again, YES for the location and only in one of the apartments.

I really liked the apartment, but it was quite cold at night, perhaps the thermostat was not working right. The comforter was nice and warm, the mattress was the best i have ever slept on while traveling, and the apartment is close to metro and shopping. Climbing to the 2nd floor was difficult for me due to a health condition, but the apartment was so nice that i would recommend this place to others.

Las fotos no son actuales del alojamiento. Necesita un poco de mantenimiento parte del baño y las sábanas no estaban totalmente limpias. El no tener contacto con una persona en el lugar es dificultoso. Una de las ventanas no tenía cortinilla no existía lo cual por la mitad del apartamento entraba la luz del sol. En la dicha habían hongos lo cual me parece desagradable y pelos de mujer en todo el suelo. Si bien el sitio en general como edificio estaba en un estado óptimo y también cerca de supermercado, centro comercial y un mercado.

Nossa casa fora de casa.

Pontos positivos, localização, transporte público, comércio, Wi-Fi, quartos, sala, banheiro roupas de cama e banho, andar térreo.
Pontos negativos: cozinha faltam muitos itens para preparar uma refeição, não tem máquina de lavar roupas e louças. O piso vários soltos causando barulhos ao caminhar, incomoda à noite mas o local é silencioso.

Teníamos una reserva de 2 noches, se le envío todos los datos de los 4 que pernoctamos esos días y no nos contestaron y enviaros las claves de acceso, SON UNA FARSA, se le informo del resto del pago se haría en metálico o con otra tarjeta(la original tuvo un fraude) y no contactaron. Reserva perdida ye hicimos una reserva esa noche , al llegar el vuelo a Oporto el otro apartamento, 200€ y gracias que lo encontramos..

O proprietário não responde as demandas nem sequer para informar não posso! Limita-se ao trivial da hospedagem. Pedir documentação e informar senha de acesso. Apto eh muito bom e localização tambem boa! Problemas com a refrigeração - ar não funcionou para refrigerar o espaço.

Beliggenhed god. Gode faciliteter i lejlighed, tilgængelig baggård med havemøbler og god service/rengøring. Men ene soveværelse kunne ikke beboes pga kraftig lugt af fugt og skimmel. Andre rum havde mindre grad af fugt og skimmel, men kunne anvendes.

L: appartamento è rispondente alla descrizione. A poca distanza di trova un po' di tutto e la zona si presenta moderna e signorile. Le scale sono agevoli. L'impatto è gradevole. L:appartamento è arredato e corredato del necessario.
Purtroppo abbiamo avuto qualche difficoltà di accedere in quanto i codici sono stati forniti in ritardo e dopo varie richieste, nonostante i dati personali per il check-in siano stati inviati il giorno precedente
Aria condizionata non funzionante
Il 50% delle tende e degli oscuranti non funzionanti. Nessun arredo di appoggio nel bagno.

The appartment was recently renovated, with a nice furniture and very clean.
We liked the location, also, close to the metro station of Casa da Musica in the lovely quarter of Boavista full of very good pastelarias and restaurants.

The on line check in information arrived later than advertised. And the sofa bed was not very cosy. These are the only negative aspects we found

Nada más entrar al apartamento nos encontramos pelos largos negros de mujer tanto en la habitación como en el cuarto de baño, casi no había papel higiénico, por lo que de la primera impresión fue nefasta.
Por el resto no estuvo mal pero ya estábamos con sensación de que no se había limpiado bien la habitación….
Así que en definitiva la experiencia no fue demasiado buena.

Für einen Städtetrip völlig in Ordnung. Wir waren insgesamt 3 Nächte hier.
Leider hatten wir eine Baustelle auf der Straße und die Fenster sind nicht wirklich schalldämmend.
Ein bisschen sauberer hätte es sein können, wir waren allerdings nur zum schlafen in der Unterkunft und deshalb war es trotz allem in Ordnung.

Nice experience on our stay. Be prepared that they will contact you (or you contact them) the same week you will begin your check-in, response will be fast. There is no need to contact them at a very long period beforehand, they’ll answer when your stay is near. They cleaned properly when we wanted the apartment to be cleaned, and they are nice as well. Its pretty decent for a group of 5. they have what you need to cook simple food, since you need to eat outside (reccomend). We definitely reccommend this place to stay. Thank you! VAMOS Portugal!!

Na hora do check in tivemos um problema, onde nosso quarto estava informado errado, e com isso a senha de acesso constava errada, e acabamos ficando sentados na escada por mais de 01:00H.
Em contato com o hotéis.com, não tivemos suporte, onde alegaram NÃO TER CONTATO com o responsável pelo apto. Chegaram e afirmar que EU estava errado, em fazer o check in aquele horário, estavam perdidos, disseram que o check in era horário do Brasil, depois de Porto. Resumindo hotéis.com sem preparado.
Até que conseguimos buscando no Google o contato do responsável, que assim que notificado, nos auxiliou com a senha, e entendendo que enviaram o número do quarto errado.
Só tenho 2 coisas a pontuar pra melhorias. A 1ª que o botão da descarga está emperrando, e permanecendo apertado, a 2ª que o chuveiro precisa ser fixado melhor, pois quando abre a água ele acaba desencaixando.
Mais fora isso, o apto é muito bom!
Localizando de frente a Casa da Música, onde tem o metro e a 100 metros da parada do autocarro turístico.
Shopping perto, mercado, padaria, lanchonetes, restaurante tudo isso bem perto.

Una zona muy tranquila, el metro a.2min que tw deja en todo el centro y con lamtarjeta turistas de 72h todo genial. Lo unico que echo en falta en el alojamiento son mas enchufes
Porque uno solo para la cafetera y la lampara y para cargar moviles es escaso.
