The hotel is clean and nicely decorated and the staff are friendly and very helpful.
There is a large food court that can be accessed from the hotel with a large variety of different food choices.
The food court was busy and quite noisy, but we were there on a Saturday night.
We had a nice dinner at the hotel restaurant.

Staff was very helpful and courteous. Hotel is very clean. But the amenities are limited. Our room was small, had no bathtub, no coffee pot, and minimal storage space for our belongings. The style is ultra modern, so the \"bathroom\" is part of the room. There's a separate glass door to the toilet and another to the shower, but the (very shallow) sink and vanity are separated from the bedroom only by a curtain. This is a matter of taste and style, but we prefer a more traditional style. For the price, the hotel is a very decent value.

Overall a great experience (with some minor issues

I truly enjoyed my stay at Hotel da Música; it's charming, well located, and staff is great. The few issues I noticed: 1) NO ONE to assist carrying bags upstairs from the street entrance to the lobby on the 1st floor. 2) Asked for room service at 8:30am, only got it after 3pm. But got a nice surprise, a staff member brought me grapes in the afternoon to the room. Sweet!

A nice modern hotel. Was originally allocated a single room despite having booked and paid for a double. I was moved to the correct room type when I went back to the reception to discuss it.

There were 3 ways that I was supposed to be able to watch my Netflix/Prime Video on the TV. The CAST and TAP options did not work. I probably had the best chance of success too as I was using a Samsung phone with the Samsung TV. While I could have tried the MIRROR option, I would then not have been able to use my phone. Casting content is becoming common in lots of hotels. It would be great if there was a solution that worked properly.

Excellent hotel for what we needed. Very surprised that the website and other advertising hardly mentions the food hall linked to the hotel. Very varied and excellent food, bonus having a supermarket there too.

Check-In was quick and easy, and was only about a 5-10 minute walk from the Casa da Música Station that serves the airport.

Room was nicely presented and clean, and bed was comfortable. Shower's pressure was quite good. Only negative was our room never had a direct outside view, the window overlooked some of the Mercado Bom Successo, although could see outside from it.

Breakfast had a good selection of items, nothing was particularly outstanding, but we had no issues or complaints.

Not the most convenient location for exploring the centre of Porto, but I wouldn't mark the hotel down for that as we knew where we were booking. We usually walked (around 20-35 mins, mostly downhill), which suited us fine, and used Ubers to get back.

The Mercado Bom Successo is accessible via the hotel, and seemed to have a decent selection of places to eat and drink, and we didn't feel like there was any negative impact of staying right next to it (Never experienced any early morning or late night noise disruptions).

We would certainly consider this hotel again for any future visits to Porto.

The hotel is clean, very quiet and has a modern theme. It has a friendly staff. Adjacent to the hotel, there is an awesome food market and a small grocery store. Also, a small mall is nearby. However, the hotel is a bit further from the city center. There is a bus hub near the hotel. Uber is not that expensive either. Only thing I did not like was the pillows. They are not comfortable.

This hotel is “music” to my ears!

All the employees were so patient, kind, informed and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located next to a food court and shopping mall. Ubers anywhere, we’re reasonably priced. Any questions and/or needs were met by the staff with concern and professionalism. My one somewhat negative, was that it is about a 2mike walk to the historic district. Mass transit is an option too. Very efficient. The hotel is quiet if you’re eager to get a good night’s sleep. Perfect location for performers or guests of the concert hall.

Great check in and check out. The building is quite contemporary as are the rooms. Room was bright and airy with air con. Comfy bed and good facilities. For a change the restaurant , room service and bar prices were really good value.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Da Musica, great location, lovely room and great shower, bizarre light switches!
We tried on numerous occasions to get a kettle for our room, but were given numerous conflicting excuses as to why this was not possible. There was a large group staying at the hotel, we told they always requested kettles!
Our room number was also an excuse, which clearly didn’t fit the criteria to receive a kettle.
Kettlegate aside, great hotel, super breakfast and good location

We were staying with 2 other couples who booked a standard room, we booked a Superior. Our room was the smallest of the three, faced inwards to the market hall and on the 2nd floor right above the music stage where they played loud music until midnight.

We complained after the first night, nothing done, then after the second night, still no response from the management. We were there for 7 nights, when we checked out we refused to pay. Of course they had our CC details, but we have written to the general manager and 5 days after no reply.

Their customer service is the poorest of any hotel I have stayed at

This was a recently renovated hotel and very convenient to the metro stop. The amenities were nice enough, though the bed wasn’t super comfortable. Our window opened to a cafeteria of sorts, not the outdoors.

One of the worst hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in, in my life. The room hadn’t been cleaned properly prior to us arriving. Also the size of the room was similar to a studio apartment. There was hardly any separation between the bathroom and where the bed was. The “design” of their bathroom sink led to us not being able to properly wash our hands because the faucet was only 2-3 inches away from the bottom of the sink. The nightly price of this room should have been much less considering what you get for it. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone to ever stay here.

I enjoyed the unique design and music theme. I notice maintenance is lacking though. The walls in the room were all scuffed with black marks from suitcases etc. Bed lamps were fragile as they were lose and shaky. Air condition couldn't be reduced beyond a point. Also one challenge is the noise from the mercado on the weekends till midnight.

The hotel is very good located. The staff is friendly. The room is clean and comfortable. The only suggestion is to have a lift or elevator to carry the bags when you arrive at hotel. There is a huge stair and the bell guy needs to carry all the bags by himself or the guest need to do it.

Clean looking hotel with musical motifs. Quite basic. Has long stair to climb at the entrance with no porter. Next to a mall and a foodcourt. Not the easiest to find or the nicest neighborhood to be in. But easy to find free street parking overnight.

No lifts or ramps to get into the holtel so we has to carry our babys pram in and out of the hotel every time.
The hotel itself was good, but the staff were execellent and extremely helpful.

Very nicely decorated hotel. Rooms very small. Seems to be European tradition to put glass door at toilet. Glass door=no door=no privacy. Very bad! Kosher food available. need to order 24 hours in advance. Very friendly, very helpful staff

Great Hotel. Food court on bottom floor all the local food and wine you needed. The hotel even gave us a breakfast box for our early morning departure. Breakfast was very nice. All in all the service was excellent and we had a very enjoyable stay.
