What a Gem!

My husband and I had a fabulous 4 night stay in one of the studio apartments. Check-in went very smoothly when the super friendly desk staff escorted us to the parking garage and then to our clean and beautifully decorated room. The breakfast staff, especially the handsome well-mannered servers, were attentive and friendly. The buffet breakfast was lovely and filling. What more could you ask for?

The staff were wonderful! The check in process was efficient and they were great about storing luggage before and after our stay. They arranged for a taxi for an early morning ride to the airport plus packed us a boxed lunch!

We stayed in two rooms. The room across the street was really delightful and spacious. The room attached to the main building, the \"garden\" room was fine except that the bathroom tiles were a bit moldy.

Overall, a very pleasant stay.

This is the first time we have stopped in a hostel it was superb the staff were first rate,cleanliness and comfort excellent value for money .The hostel was in a central location.close to small bars and restaurants aged time was had by all

This is a great hostel. We stayed in a private room, which made the stay particularly nice. The hostel is in a great old building in a central location. The building has a nice 24 hr. bar and a good breakfast. Glam hosteling at its best!

Very pleasant stay, would recommend to others

This was my second stay at Gallery Hostel within a one-week period. The first time I stayed in a double room and the stay was lovely. The second time I stayed in a triple and everything was great except the room smelled of mildew. The staff was extremely friendly and the location was great. Breakfast was good/fine. I would stay here again

Lovely!

We stayed at the Gallery Hostel guesthouse across the street, which was beautiful! The best accommodations I had on a two week vacation. The location is walkable to everything in Porto, but not in the center of town. The staff members were really helpful, even making phone calls for us as we planned the rest of our trip.

A hidden gem.

Galley Hostel was an amazing place to stay. A fantastic historical building beautifully adapted for its current purpose with the most helpful staff. We only had one night here before leaving early (before breakfast, unfortunately) in order to catch our flight but had we been there longer would have taken part in the free walking tour of the city which happens every morning at 10:30. The whole place had a homely, quirky feel with great decor. It was easy to find using the map provided on the website and though the street itself looked very uninspiring, the front door opens into a real gem of a place. Would definitely go back again!

From the airport we took the tube to Sau Bento tube station then a Uber cab €4.5 to hotel. The hotel is walking distance from tourist attractions. We had the up graded room across the street from reception it was nice. Would warn people when getting out of shower the floor is painted and very slippery my wife had a very nasty fall was very lucky not to break here arm.
Liked the idea of comunity breakfast but quality of food could have been better. I liked the hotel would recommend it if you like something different.

Great little hotel in the heart of Porto

This hotel is actually a hostel, but there are private rooms too. the staff are really nice and the hotel itself is casual but very well appointed (although no lifts/elevators). the breakfast is nice and locally there are a number of nice restaurants and coffee shops for lunch or dinner. The location is in the art gallery area, lovely old buildings most of which are either already renovated or being renovated now. Easy walk to the river and tourist centres and easy metro ride to the beach

Great little boutique hostel

Great boutique hostel. Comfortable and friendly. Wi-Fi didn't really extend to the room. Room wasn't completely soundproof but was fairly quiet.

Hostel may be hard to find when you first arrive but I loved this place! Stayed here for 3 nights in Triple Room (Double/Twin rooms sold out). Our room was simple with no TV. This was ok because we spent most of our time outside our rooms. Location is within walkable distance to Churches, tourists areas, eateries, Santa Catarina streets (shopping), bars and restaurants. Late at night, I felt safe in the neighborhood.

Staff: welcoming, friendly & pleasant. Upon arrival, they orient you with a map. Free (simple) walking tours offered in the morning. If you need an outbound ride to train station, they can liaise with a driver at a competitive fee (Taxi is comparable - both very affordable). Thanks- Caterina & Fred.

Breakfast was more than just milk and cereal. They offer cheese, ham, toast, simple pasteries and SCRAMBLED eggs (which is my favourite). Milk & coffee too.

Great introduction to Portugal

The hostel is more a hotel, beds made, rooms cleaned every day. We had privacy and quiet. The shared dinner for 10euro was superb, one of our best. The staff was very kind, went out of their way to make sure we had clear directions for walking, good recommendations for meals and sightseeing, and that we were comfortable. A wonderful discovery, I highly recommend it. Easy to walk to center city and transportation centers.

Wunderschönes Hotel. Auch als Hostel buchbar. Wir hatten ein perfektes Appartmebt. Die Leute waren alle super nett und zuvorkommend ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Essen und Getränkeauswahl sehr gut. Mir wurde das Hotel empfohlen, das kann ich nur wärmstens weitergeben. Auch die Lage ist erstklassig. Alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar und trotzdem ruhige Straße.

Stadthotel in super Lage mitten im Künstlerviertel aber abseits vom Trubel, sehr nette und engagierte Mitarbeiter. In der Nähe sind Restaurants und Bars vorhanden und Altstadt und Fluss sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Das nächste Mal in Porto bestimmt wieder!

中世の街にタイムスリップ出来るタイムマシン

PORT旧市街を楽しむには、最高のロケーションにあります。
ポルトは中世のたたずまいを残していて、まるでタイムスリップしたような錯覚を覚えました。
客室も広く、清潔かつ街中なのに静寂が保たれています。スタッフの対応は親切で、宿のアプリをインストールすると、市内観光には充分な情報にアクセス出来ます。

Sauberes Hostel in zentraler Lage

Wir wurden beim Check-In kompetent vom Empfangspersonal über die Restaurant, Museen und Shoppingvielfalt in Porto informiert. Am zweiten Tag führte das Hostel ein kostenloses Porto-Sightseeing zu Fuss durch. Dieses Sightseeing mit viele Stadttipps war sehr hilfreich für die nächsten Tage. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber und man hat sich sofort wohlgefühlt. Wir werden das Zimmer bei einem weiteren Aufenthalt mit Bestimmtheit wieder buchen.

Nous avions l'impression d'etre chez des amis: Affonso nous a fait decouvrir par une visite guidee le centre de Porto pendant plus d'une heure en compagnie d'autres clients avec des explications en français.

O hostel eh ótimo!!! A decoração eh uma gracinha, limpo, o quarto eh espaçoso, os atendentes são super atenciosos e a localização eh boa. Além disso, no jantar oferecem um menu muito gostoso com entradas, sopa, salada, prato principal, sobremesa, vinho por apenas 10 euros!! As coisas \"não tão boas\" eh que a internet não pegava no quarto e o banheiro estava com um cheiro um pouco ruim...ahh não tem elevador, mas as escadas são poucas!!!sobre o café da manhã, o que tinha era muito gostoso!!!mas faltou o iogurte, que só era disponibilizado para o pessoal que pegava os quartos mais caros.

Séjour formidable

Trés bon séjour, auberge qui mérite bien plus qu'un 2 étoiles que se soit pour le confort (lit de 180), l'accueil est juste formidable avec un personnel à nos petits soins ou méme les repas qui ne sont pas chére (10€ par personne tout compris avec les vins) où la qualité est au rendez-vous ! Des prestations parfaites !!!!! Merci encore pour ce beau séjour !

Die beste Alternative zum Hotel !

Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass ich jemals Urlaub in einem Hostel machen würde, aber der Aufenthalt im Gallery Hostel war einfach wunderbar und ich kann es daher nur empfehelen es auszuprobieren ! Es war ungezwungen locker und die Einrichtung war sehr einladend und gemütlich ! Die Doppelzimmer waren sehr hell & freundlich eingerichtet !
Ich danke dem ganzen Team vom Gallery Hostel für die schöne Zeit und die tolle Stadtführung ( kostenlos !!) mit Laura ! Wir haben die Zeit in dieser traumhaften Stadt in dieser tollen Unterkunft mehr als genossen !

Une auberge parfaite !

Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans cette auberge, une merveille ! Tout était parfait, un accueil top, une grande chambre double propre (ménage fait tous les jours) et agréable, un petit dej parfait bref une belle et bonne adresse en plus on est très vite dans le centre historique de Porto ;) Cette auberge peut rivaliser avec des hôtels en plus elle propose des prix très attractifs ! Je valide et je recommande chaudement !

ホテルは、古い家を改装された奥にひろーくなっています。家族の人の利用が多かったように思います。部屋が広々していてくつろげます。
ホテルで紹介しているグリルのお店がとても安くておいしかったです。
ただホテルの場所が駅からすこしありわかりにくいかったです。

Superbe auberge Porto

J ai ete plus qu agreablement surprise ! L auberge est magnifiquement decoree, au detail pres! L ambiance est super, on se sent comme chez nous ! Le personnel est present et responds avec Coeur aux attentes. De plus l hotel est situe a deux pas du centre ville dans le quartier des galleries d art!! Superbe!!
