Great location, with lots of places to eat on the street. Walking distance to many great attractions.
Traditional, rustic feel to the building, which is clean tidy and well maintained.
Helpful, friendly staff available for advice and assistance.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

The staff are lovely and speak multiple languages. The hotel is clean and feels safe but very basic. I’m 5’5” and had to sit sideways on the toilet in the room with 2 twin beds because the door wouldn’t close otherwise. It was clean and the beds are comfortable but it’s a very small, basic room. It was fine for us as we just used it to sleep and shower.

The rooms were always cleaned daily. Always fresh towels.
I was very satisfied with this hotel and would highly recommend them as a good place to stay, Located in a very nice area and very centrally located. Anything you want to go to is always within 20 minutes walking distance. To the other side of the river was maybe five minutes longer but in 15 minutes you are at all the good areas of Porto. Uber is always a great way to get around and they are very prompt and safe.
I will say that for the price a much better breakfast can be had just 50m further up the road or when open directly next door. So pass on breakfast and enjoy the local Portuguese fare instead.

This property is fantastically located for visiting Porto. Everything in the city is within walkable distance.
The property is dated inside but we found the staff really friendly and helpful and the garden they have at the back is a beautiful bit of greenery to wake up to before you explore the city.
The room we shared was small but the shower worked really well and we didn’t spend much time in the room anyway. The bed was comfy with two pillows each so we slept well.
The breakfast had limited options but they were all fresh and very enjoyable. Enough to fuel you for the day ahead.
Would recommend to those looking for a safe, clean and reasonably cheap option to stay whilst visit the beautiful city of Porto.

Continental breakfast was fine. The real USP is the long garden at the back of the hotel which was unexpected but really nice.

The receptionist is very helpful and full of information about the area. The room is cleaned every day. The garden in the back is beautiful. There are restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops just outside the door. The people are very friendly. It is rated as one star but we have stayed in four star hotels that weren’t as good as this place

The entrance to this property is a bit old and underwhelming, but the hotel inside is very pleasant, the staff super caring and friendly, beautiful gardens. Very quiet to the back of the hotel. Breakfast very nice. Very good value. Much better than the big chain hotels at least has some personality. Would recommend

A nice little hotel, well positioned and reasonably priced.

The room was a little shabby and the bathroom had a slightly stale smell but the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was simple but effective.

There isn't much noise insulation, I was at the front of the building and there is a video arcade opposite that is open late and plays music but it was only slightly iriritating

For budget traveler , this place is a steal. Old world charm. Dated elements but strong renovations has been made to the rooms. Maybe the room that was given to me was the fault because I was given a room next to the stairs and can hear the conversation and foot steps of other guests.

Our trip to Porto was made more enjoyable by our stay at Hotel Estoril. The staff were very friendly, the room was comfortable, and the accomodations were excellent. Whether we were enjoying breakfast at the hotel, relaxing with a game of cards in the lounge, or walking the garden, we were pleased with every aspect of our stay.

Wonderful front desk staff in this charming little hotel - set in the middle of a cobblestone street with small unique shops, bakeries, and little cafés. Within walking distance to downtown and the Luiz 1 bridge. The hotel is not fancy, or high end, but is inexpensive and perfect for anyone on a budget.

Although not a boutique hotel, Hotel Estoril has the amenities you need.with a homie feel. The room was cozy equipped with very comfortable bed, clean bathroom and small balcony. I loved the location as i was able to walk everywhere. I walk to all the popular site l, into gaia. I was surprised to find out it's situated to popular night life. (Felt it was very quoet neighborhood) but as i got more comfortable and explored i discovered a whole other side of the neighborhood i did realize. Definitely would stay here again. Felt safe, comfortable and intergretated with locals. Had i stayed somewhere closer to the city certer i would have maunly just seen the other tourists.

The location is excellent, steps away from the main attractions of Porto. Food, supermarket (Pingo Doce) and restaurants are just there, plus the Metro station (10 min. walking with the luggage) to connect to the airport, train or buss stations).

The hotel looks creepy from the outside, and you have to get buzzed in, so I was thinking this wasn't a great neighborhood. It turned out to be fine overall. You can hear every sound from outside your door, but surprisingly little from the street. Bathroom is small and needs to be redone (shower head loose, soap dish cracked, things like that). Breakfast was given to you, same every morning, no choices given. You eat it or you don't. A bit of a walk to the touristy areas with lots of hills. Next time, if stay closer to that area.

I really enjoyed my stay here.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were extremely obliging and couldn't do enough to help me when I needed it. The room was nice. A bit dark but it had everything that I needed. I wish I could have stayed longer. Thanks for a great stay.

Residencial Estoril - great value

We had a room with a private bathroom/shower in this place. Daily maid service cleaned the room. There's a computer with 30 minutes of free internet per day. It's dirt cheap and in a convenient location. This is not a business hotel, or upscale resort. This is a good, cheap, place to sleep while exploring Oporto. I don't speak any portuguese, and had no trouble communicating with the staff during check in/check out.

This is a cheap small hotel about 10 minutes walk from both the central square and the Trinidad transport interchange, and about 25 minutes on foot to the riverside area. It's on a largely pedestrianised shopping street which is quiet at night. Our room was a fair size with small en suite bathroom, basic but clean. Rolls and coffee breakfast is €2. Internet free for 30 minutes each day. Friendly cat and dog.

The Cheap Tickets Website said that there was a free continental breakfast. The hotel had up signs for the breakfast hours, both in the lobby and in each room, but when we went down for breakfast the door to the breakfast room was locked. When I rang the bell and asked I was told that there was no breakfast in an unfriendly manner.

Centrally located in 'old town', close to a tubestation, within easy walking distance of riverbank, clean hotel with basic amenties and friendly and helpful staff. In all, if youre looking for a decent 'budget' hotel, this one suits all needs.

Cama boa, banheiro bom e limpo, secador de cabelo, tomadas em vários locais do quarto. Só sentimos falta de uma geladeira no quarto e um ferro de passar. Mesmo a gente ter ficado no quarto família do hotel, sentimos falta dessas coisas. As meninas foram MUITO boas atendentes. Um pouco mais de tempo, e viraríamos amigos. Ana e Liliana, muito simpáticas e conversaram com a gente sobre tudo.

Zimmer war okey. Zimmer sind aber sehr kalt und frisch man muss heizen. Frühstück jeden Tag das gleiche täglich anderes Angebot wäre schön. Nebendran hat es überall cafe's für 10€ ist man wie ein König dort. Wer abends duschen will sollte das Wasser 5 min. Laufen lassen bis es warm wird.

Die Dame an der Rezeption war aber trotzdem sehr nett.

La localisation est génial, mais il faut que vos critères soient au plus bas pour ce qui est de l'hébergement. Les matelas sont dû pour être changés. Il n'y a aucune insonorisation. Pas d'ascenseur donc avec une grosse valise, c'est l'enfer. Il n'y a pas de frigo non plus, donc pas pratique du tout. Nous avons été très déçus de l'hébergement, mais le personnel et la localisation sont numéro 1.

I was very positively surprised by my stay at Hotel Estoril in Porto. The location is perfect—just about a 15-minute walk to the center, where you’ll find plenty of bars, cafés, and restaurants.

The room was extremely clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Although the building itself is a bit old, the overall quality and cleanliness were excellent, especially considering the price.

For a 1-star hotel, my expectations were more than exceeded. The value, location, and level of comfort make Hotel Estoril a great choice for anyone visiting Porto.

Obwohl das Hotel in einer Einkaufsstraße liegt, sind die Zimmer zum Garten total ruhig. Die Zimmer werden jeden Tag gereinigt und das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Garten im Hinterhaus ist eine tolle Oase zum Entspannen. Das Frühstück ist zwar nicht besonders üppig, aber für die Hotelklasse völlig okay. Wir würden sogar 2 Sterne vergeben!

Emplacement et accueil parfaits

L'accueil très chaleureux avec une dame parlant français nous a rassurés.
L'hôtel est idéalement placé à Porto, 10 mn à pied du centre historique et de la vie nocturne. Il est extrêmement calme avec vue sur le jardin. Fenêtres ouvertes, on entend les avions en atterrissage mais absolument plus du tout lorsque les double fenêtre à double vitrage est fermée.
Le seul inconvénient fût pendant nos 3 jours une épouvantable odeur de remontées d'odeur d'égouts dans la salle d'eau, problème signalé à l'accueil qui nous a expliqué que cela était dû à des travaux dans la rue...soit !
Adresse à conserver pour une prochaine fois.

ダブルルームのお部屋は広く、デスクやエアコンもついていました。良かったです。エレベーターはありません。
最寄り地下鉄の駅からは少し坂がありますが歩けます。また主な観光地へも徒歩で行けます。
ホテルのまわりはレストランやカフェ、スーパーがたくさんあります。そのため夜は少し音が気になりました。

Les + : localisation a 5 min de la librairie Lello et des rues animées, l accueil très sympathique, la grande chambre, le petit dej très acceptable, le très beau jardin et le tarif (moins de 90 euros avec petit déjeuner pour nous)
Les - : l extérieur côté rue, l équipement des chambres (savon liquide ou mini savonnette, pas de bouilloire, pas de frigo), le linge étendu sur la terrasse...
Bref c est pas \"grand standing\" mais sympa et bien localisé
