The apartment was very clean. Loved the old rock inside and wooden shutters over the patio doors. Lots of dining options close by. Only downside was that we were in apt 8 (top floor) and had multiple stairs to climb. If you are elderly, not in shape or have some sort of mobility issue I would just ask for a lower floor.

Amazing aparthotel, excellent location!

This aparthotel was in a perfect location walking distance to everything notable, surrounded by bars, restaurants, shopping, transit. Lots of hills so be prepared to get in lots of steps, and bring comfy shoes! The hotel staff went out of their way to be helpful. Carla was at the hotel sometimes and another woman whose name I forget. Tatiana was always available via WhatsApp and helped us with transfers from the airport, and then to the train station as well as general questions about the neighbourhood. Only one thing: I booked this hotel thinking I would have a washing machine but turns out only two of the apartments have them.
I would stay here again. Great value for money!

We enjoyed the location and the large apartment we had. A downside was how noisy the apartments are…no real soundproofing at all. This is explained on a piece of paper in the room, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time so we could decide whether or not to stay here. Bedroom, living/dining area was nice, but the washroom was a bit underwhelming and dingy.

Liliana and Joana were both so nice and accommodating during our stay. They made sure that we were comfortable in our rooms, had suggestions for restaurants and places to see, and made sure we had fresh towels and linens. Our apartment was extremely clean and quiet, and access was easy and convenient. This space was central to a lot of sites in Porto and was very walkable, as there are 3 restaurants outside right when you walk out the door.

I booked this place last minute and overall it was just ok. Great location and the room had character but overall it was not as clean as I would expect, particularly in the bathroom. There were smudges on the mirror and the shower had mold in the grout. Also the shower didn’t drain well, so I had to take super fast showers and even still I was standing in a pool of water. Wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it due to the issues in the bathroom

Before you go: there isn't a lift. There isn't a dedicated check-in area. You'll receive a text with door code and key retrieval instruction at 16:00; you won't be able to access room earlier. You may be able to have bags stored if you ask.

Communication before our stay was good and we were able to be received at the property before 16:00, receiving a detailed check-in and stored our bags. We asked for a third night and were given a very favorable rate.

The room was very nice, very clean. Comfortable bed & furniture. Well equipped kitchen. Huge windows with direct & indirect views, a residential street with multiple restaurants directly out the door. Quiet. Minutes walk from Centro.

We did ask via app & text for soap in the shower and whether coffee could be replenished. There was no response. We went shopping for soap, shampoo & toilet paper (room ran out). There is a good coffee & pastry shop on the nearby square to get the morning started.

We enjoyed our stay and pushed through the minor inconveniences.

The apartment was comfortable but it was too noisy. You heard people walking up and down the stairs and through the walls and ceilings. Our studio was on the 3rd floor. Without an elevator, it was quite arduous carrying the luggage up to the apartment

I loved everything about it. They arranged my transport from the airport and the concierge met me at the entrance so I could store my bags for a couple of hours. She gave me keys early so that I was all set for getting in the apartment at 3. The apartment was clean beautiful had a great balcony. Everything is well thought out and arranged. The bed is comfortable. The App gave great restaurant recommendations.

We loved our stay. Tatiana was very communicative and gracious during check in. The room is like your own little apartment/loft for a couple. It was in a great location to walk all over Porto. Very spacious, clean and modern.
There are restaurants literally underneath the hotel which was great for a late dinner. There could be people playing music in the street so if you want an early night of sleep it could be difficult.
It didn’t bother us, we loved it, as it was romantic and we were up until 11pm everyday anyways. The music typically stops around that time or earlier.
We would recommend and stay here again on our next trip to Porto.

Really liked this Apartment. Great location, walkable to everything. They upgraded us to a deluxe apartment at no charge because the standard one we booked had a problem. It was spacious and very comfortable. The only issue we didn’t know about was there was no elevator. We had to walk up 4 flights of stairs with our luggage.

The location and room were fine with basic amenities. It would've been nice to have enough coffee for the entire stay for two people. We stayed three nights and were offered 4 coffee pods (terrible for the environment) and no other option to make coffee. When we asked for more pods we were told that we could get it from the person who would be there in the morning. However, there was no one there in the morning, so we did not get our coffee. The overall communication and helpfulness of the staff was missing...they seemed to not care about the people staying there and acted as if it was a burden to answer questions or help the guests. Some basic customer service skills would go a long way.

We were thrilled with this hotel! The check in was smooth, Tatiana was very helpful and spoke great English. The building is a bit older so there was some noise from the room
above us but nothing unmanageable (we had apartment 4). The location was perfect and a short walk down the hills to the river. Conveniently located next to some top sights, tons of restaurants and delicious bakeries! This hotel even has their own app to download for free with tips on restaurants, sights to see and maps of the city. The room was so cute and had a great loft style layout. The bed was comfy and the room had everything we needed (fridge, stove, coffee, tea kettle and more). We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this apartment/hotel! They will also arrange airport transportation, total bonus!

This is a very convenient spot, short walking distance (5-7 minutes) from the popular tourist spots and transportion such as Livraria Lello, Clerigos tower and the Sao Bento metro station. The Campagna train station is about 10-12 minutes by taxi.

Couple of nice restaurants, both high end and authentic Portuguese as well as coffee shops in the area, all within 5 minutes walking distance. With the University of Porto buildings nearby, chance to see some fun activity by students and faculty.

If you are looking to do some shopping, the Rua Catarina shopping area is about 12-15 minutes walking distance.

All in all, a very convenient and spacious apartment for a couple. The concierge of the property, Tatiana Teixeira was a pleasure to work with. Quick to respond to your questions and needs.

Great location for exploring Porto! This apartment was clean, modern, spacious, well-appointed, and centrally located. The big doors and windows opening onto the balcony offered amazing views of the city.

The only challenge for us was the stairs - we were on the top floor and going up and down the many flights was a bit rough on the knees.

If you don't mind getting some extra stairs in after walking all day around the hilly city, then Oporto Street Sá de Noronha is a great option!

Tatiana is the main reason the Hotel is so excellent. She was there to assist with every request, in a fun and friendly way. Tatiana arranged an excellent Taxi Driver for me, both coming to the hotel and leaving. She gave advice on local restaurants and shopping--and she even helped me find a local laundromat!

The location of this hotel is awesome. It is a 20 minute walk max to most of the hot spots. It is great having a little apartment style place as there is quite a bit of room. If you do not have a Portuguese phone number, it is difficult to communicate with the hotel ahead of time and when you arrive it will be slightly more confusing. When you arrive they tell you what day you will get cleaning on (3 days in for the most part). By the fourth day we still didn’t have cleaning so I reached out and found out our cleaning was going to be the next day. When cleaning did come, I was not feeling well and so she was not able to clean and she said she couldn’t come back. At least I got new towels when she came but because of this we didn’t have cleaning at all for our seven night stay.

I've stayed in a few hotels in Porto, and this apartment might be my favorite accomodation now. It's spacious, super clean, bright and well-located. Room matches the photos perfectly. The street has a few restaurants but isn't too loud. The staff were very friendly and communicated with ease.

The room we had was very spacious, like having a very large studio apartment. Bed was very comfortable. Loved the location and it was very easy to get to many places just by simply walking. There is no elevator, so if you have a lot of suitcases/bags like we did, this is not the place for you. Going up four flights wasn’t easy.

\"Soundproof\" should really come off this listing

The noise levels here are typical of any apartment or hotel; you can definitely hear people walking over your head and in the stairway, which is quite loud. There's a sign inside the unit that says soundproofing is limited due to the use of wood in its remodeled construction & there are signs asking folks to try to be quiet, but it can be too noisy at times. Sometimes the person's footsteps upstairs shook the walls and floor. My first day there was drilling next door as there's construction going on in the adjacent building so all in all it was hard to relax.
I will say though the space itself is otherwise as advertised and cozy with all the amenities for a short or long stay. They still offer daily cleaning while many hotels have stopped doing this and you can order a nice breakfast to be delivered to your room in the morning in a cute basket. Tatiana is an amazing hostess, extremely warm and I would give her an 11/10 for her hospitality - she even took my bags upstairs and placed them in my room for me as my room was not quite ready when I arrived (a big deal bc there's no elevator). It's also in a great location in the city, easy to get around. The intl cell phone is a big plus for those not from Europe. My phone works here, but calls aren't free & the data speeds are a bit slower, so having this phone as an alternative was super convenient. It came with suggested restaurants & sites built into it. Generally a lovely experience, just wish it was quieter.

Everything was perfect ! These are beautiful lofts apartments in one of the best areas in central Porto. My 4th floor suite was spacious, well designed and spotlessly clean. The highest compliments go to the wonderful staff who do everything they can to make your stay in Porto so enjoyable. Do not hesitate to book any of these suites if they are available

Great except for street noise!

If not for the street noise in the middle of the night, this would have been a top ranked stay.

I’ll start with the noise- had not seen much in prior reviews about noise problems at this property. We stayed on the top floor- the one with the balcony and vaulted ceilings. We suspect the noise level would be better on lower floors. We arrived the night the city lifted time restrictions on clubs so they were able to stay open until 6AM and I guess the partiers had a lot of pent up energy so the noise went until 6AM. I even used a white noise app on my phone and it wasn’t enough to drown out the screaming. Some guy also had a speaker and was ranting over the speaker nearby- just screaming into it starting at 5AM (2 nights of this). The noise wasn’t the property’s fault, but the rooms are advertised as sound proofed so that’s a stretch. Tatiana- who is the most kind host- was very apologetic but what could she do?

Otherwise the property was great- we stayed at the top so lots of stairs (I think I counted 72!) but it was not bad except when carrying the suitcases up. The room was just as pictured, clean and modern with the old stone walls. The view from the balcony was pleasant, but there are some restaurants nearby that cook so you occasionally get their exhaust (when outside). Mattress and pillows were OK- not terrible but not the most comfortable.

The location was good- lots of great places nearby and very reasonable walk to the river and other destination

The apartment exceeded our expectations. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed. The location was also excellent for us with cafes and restaurants literally on the doorstep. It wasnt an issue for us but the apartment is up a hill and our room was on the fourth floor without a lift so would not have suited those with limited mobility. It meant we had great views though and with the glass doors folded back it was much more comfortable than the small balconies we have had when staying in hotels. The aircon wss also a great bonus at night as it would otherwise have been very hot on the top floor. The aircon was simple to operate and very effective as was the shower and everything else we used in the apartment. This was the first time we had tried staying in an apartment ratger than a hotel and we will certainly do so again. The concierge was helpful and friendly. She organised taxi transfers for us from and to the airport before we arrived which took away all the hassle and worked brilliantly. All in all, absolutely first rate.

This was an excellent place to stay in Porto. While I was only there for 1 night, I wish I could have stayed a full week. The apartment-style room was fully equipped with a kitchen, large couch, washer/dryer and porch overlooking the city. Everything was very clean and spacious. The service was excellent with the staff taking time on check-in to explain everything in our room in addition to a quick explanation of the highlights of the city and showing us all the locations on the map. One of the most unique features of the hotel was the availability of a cellphone for our use during the stay which was a huge help as I did not have an international data plan. Overall this was an excellent experience that I would recomment to anyone.

Wonderful!! So good! Book it!

This place was such a treat for us. We were greeted by a very kind gentleman at the door once we rang the doorbell who showed us to our apartment. He then was able to give us fantastic recommendations for things to do in Porto including where to go and what to eat. The apartment was beautiful and extremely clean. I would say one of the best things about the apartment is they give you a Samsung phone with built in apps for tripadvisor and cabs so that while we were out walking the city we didn't have to worry about always finding wifi. This phone came in so handy because a couple times we had to use the phone to find the meet up for a tour (comes with 30 minutes a day of local calls). The phone also came with a program to help with recommendations for things to do, eat and where to go for nightlife. The location was incredible, walked right around the corner to Livraria Lello. We looooved Porto and wished we were staying longer!!!

Great location and service

'Spot on’ was my husband’s view - ideally located near to the Livraria Lello and Clerigos Tower and with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, these apartments are ideal for a short stay.
The riverside is a 20 min walk but plenty to see on the way - although the walk back uphill may take longer!
Service is outstanding with great advice from Marta on the best places to visit and eat and the apartment is clean, spacious and contemporary with free WiFi. We also had airport transfers arranged.

A perfect stay

A perfect apartment! We stayed on the top floor and enjoyed the lovely city view from our balcony very much. The room was well facilitated, nice furnished and extremely comfortable. A mobile tourist guide was provided to us which was very useful.The staff were very nice and helpful.Great location, the apartment was surrounded by cafe,bars and supermarkets. Will definitely recommend to all our friends.

Room was a decent size with a city view from the well furnished balcony.
Bed was large and comfortable,
Kitchen was well laid out and of good quality.(every thing you would want in an apartment)
It all felt spacious immaculately clean and functional.

Lovely central hotel

Great stay only negative was lots of stairs and no lift so not good for less mobile and at the top of a hill. Amazing view and room and staff really helpful. Will definitely recommend

Ideal location and lovely suites

Pretty close to perfect. Just bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper who can't cope with street noise (sirens and exuberant pedestrians in the wee hours). Also, if using their airport transfer be prepared that the driver might be displaying the wrong name. Lol, it's Portugal, after all!

Home away from home

This is a new apartment, designed to make you comfortable even for long stays. We were here for only 2 nights, and had everything we needed. The mattress was comfortable, and the room spacious. If I have to nitpick, perhaps bedroom slippers could be provided as the floor can get pretty cold.

Fabulous location and very friendly staff

Excellent and informative staff. We arrived very late but we were greeted by our friendly hosts and given a review of the city sites. The room and amenities were excellent. The location is perfect. We also had use of their free mobile guide which was invaluable. Definitely recommended.

Finally, the hotel arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport. All worked very smoothly

My husband and I stayed at the for our honeymoon in Portugal, and we loved it. You cannot beat the location, everything was walkable and the place is surrounded by bars and cafes. We arrived in Porto with very little planned and Marta, the host, helped us with recommendations on what to do, see and eat and they were all fantastic. We used the map she provided us, and also the cell phone which was a very nice feature (the phone was free to use with 30min of free calls, and free data which was nice for GPS use). We stayed on the top floor and the room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the apartment had everything we needed.

Great Location and Accommodation

We are two travellers from Canada and booked this small apartment for 3 nights. Check-in was easy and welcoming. We were on the 3rd floor (stairs only) so we had a nice view of the nearby square from the balcony and sun in the afternoon/evening. The pictures on the website are exactly what you get - a lovely renovated suite. Quiet and safe.
Just outside the door are restaurants, cafes, shopping, sightseeing... all easy walking distance.
If you are coming to Porto for days or even weeks, I highly recommend this place.

Lovely stay in Porto.

Lovely apartment, and so well kept. The area is good for sight seeing and also local bars and eating out. Jose welcomed us and recommend lots of places to visit and tips on the area. We had a top floor apartment which whilst, lovely, was quite a pull up the stairs, just something to keep in mind. Our flight was early morning, so Jose organised a taxi for us which was very much appreciated. Overall we had a great stay and would return but maybe stay on a lower floor.

Beautiful apartment in Porto

Everything about our trip was excellent. So much to do and see that we will need to come back. There is something for everyone in Porto and the city centre is reasonably compact. The efficient buses, trams and metro make sure you can reach everywhere.
We found the locals very friendly and willing to help and the variety of restaurants to suit all budgets was very good.

Great Place with Tremendous Amenities

Great place for a great price. The unit was very spacious and it was great to have access a kitchen and washing machine. Totally worth a little extra to get a room on the backside with a balcony. Additionally the local cell phone they let you use was great for making calls for reservations and having data for navigation. Would definitely stay here again.

A Perfect stay in Porto

Loved everything about our stay. Overall a superb accommodation in an ideal location. Larger modern studio, well furnished, and extremely comfortable. Marta was extremely helpful with suggestions to orient us to the area.
