Because our originally booked room was under renovation, the hotel moved us to two rooms on the same floor. There were five of us, so this actually gave us much more space and was very comfortable for our stay.
The rooms were very clean and new, and the hotel staff were extremely friendly. Each room was also gifted a small bottle of Porto wine, which was a lovely touch. After we checked out, the hotel kindly stored our luggage for us as well.
Overall, we highly recommend this hotel!

The room was very clean and the room looked the same as the photos. The location was good and the small bottle of wine was nice. The lady that helped us check in came to our room, put on the tv and showed us the heat controls. But after check in we never saw her again and nobody was at the front desk.

The staff was very helpful and gave good recommendations.for places to eat. One of their recommendations to go to praca da poveiros which has several restaurants was useful more than once and our favorite was Ribeiros. The property was very clean and modern.

We had a very nice stay at Almada Wine house. It is in a very good location close.to restaurants and to the train stations. Our flight arrived early and they accommodated us as soon as it was possible. Leandra helped us get settled comfortably and made recommendations where to go andwhat to do. Beautiful and conveniently located hotel. Nice staff at check in. Very nice room. Weird quirks to the room though. The toilet randomly started loudly running water for 10 minutes in the middle of the night (like continuous flushing), but finally it stopped. The fan on the bathroom automatically comes on with the bathroom lights and had a very loud and high pitched squeaking issue as it ran. It would be far preferred to have the fan on a separate switch, as going to the bathroom in the middle of the night woke others up easily. There also wasn't anyone at checkout, which is fine if you just leave your keys in the bin as instructed et check in, but we had hoped to leave our luggage with someone for a bit. Overall really nice hotel.

On our recent stayed at Almada Wine House, we were very happy. Our unit is on ground floor, this building is not busy. Front staff was very welcoming. The unit came with a small bottle of welcoming port wine, coffee machine in the room along with bottles water which was very helpful with the hot weather. Nice and modernized fully equipped kitchen plus big dining area. Sleeping areas are perfect too. I took away one star because the washroom need to work on it. Water were leaking with the shower door so after your shower water was soaking outside the stall. Secondly, the washroom door was hard to close, you need two people to close the door.
We loved the nearby eatery like some good breakfast place nearby.
One more thing need to improve is the front desk because when you need extra toilet paper there is no one out there. But overall we definitely stay here again.

The almata hotel it was definitely clean, spacious. It had a studio filled to it. Fully workable, kitchen, closely located to everything. The price was awesome. I believe mainly because there's nobody really at the front desk. They're there when you first check-in, they're extremely helpful. After that, you really don't need them. You come and go-as-you-please. It's like having a mini apartment. Definitely located to everything closely to all restaurants, markets, shopping. Anything you want to do any excursions? It's located, I'm close to those as well. My friends and I and my husband had a really great time and enjoyed our stay.There would definitely do it again

We stayed here for 3 nights with our 2 year old son. I specifically looked for a property with a kitchen, a crib, and a hotel that was walkable to many places. This had everything we needed, the room was very spacious, and there were grocery stores close by to keep our son’s food on hand. I absolutely recommend this place for families. The only negative I will mention is that the beds were very firm and a little too hard for our liking. So, just keep that in mind.

...after we had specifically answered the question \"When will you check in?\" and we were right on time. No one at front desk; no note; no call; no text; no email; no nothing. After 10 minutes on the sidewalk we were lucky to be let in by exiting guest who helpfully told us \"I haven't seen anyone all day.\" Reached some one by phone and told \"She had to go to another property. She'll be there any minute. 15 minutes later, 30 minutes after we arrived, someone shows up and checks us in. We were surprised that she was not apologetic.

Great location, plenty of bars/restaurants nearby, easy access to the Old Town etc. and the excellent nearby market. Had a great meal at one of the restaurants on the first floor of the market. Front of house was superb, explaining in great detail where to go/not to go, all set out on the map. Extremely friendly at all times.

We liked the property, it was nice and clean, we have even little bottle of delicious wine was complimentary in the apartment. It was conveniently located in the center of the city. Apartment was nicely equipped with all kitchen utensils, linen was excellent.
Cones: mattress wasn't comfortable like in these level hotels, shower cocking needs to replace, it was detached from the wall and all molded.
Overall is great stay, friendly personal, Paulo was waiting for us for late arriving, even their schedule was until 19:00.

Almada Wine House is in a great location, close to the train station, restaurants, and the historic city center. Checking in and checking out was easy, and the staff was able to accommodate our needs, and answer questions. Our room was very spacious by European standards, and the small kitchen area was nice to have.

The deadlock on the door for the apartment was very difficult to open - needed Houdini skills to get it to work (could be a problem if there was an emergency evacuation). Otherwise the location was great and easy walking distance to train station and dining options.

The propery is in excellent location, walkable to most attractions, few steps away from the most famous bookstore Livraria Lello. The propery is very new, recently renovated. There are a lots of dining options nearby as well. The staff here is super helpful and attentive, especially Miguel. He was so much helpful, friendly and gave us lots of tips travelling around Porto. We stayed in a studio which was spacious for 3 people and had everything we need from a kitchenette and even a free small bottle of Porto wine. Highly recommend this property.

I would give the hotel an 8/10- convenient location, quiet, but there were no cooking pots or pans, arrived late and another guest arrived so we were not shown how to do air conditioner and a couple other things

Our apartment was perfect for our few days in Porto before beginning a planned tour. The building is within walking distance of many points of interests and restaurants. The breakfast delivered to our door was delicious. I would note that you have a key to the building but there is not an employee present at all times. But it is safe and secure and a contact number is available. It was much like living in your own apartment in Porto. I would love to stay at Almada Wine House again.

Note - I stayed just over Christmas Eve night, so that was probably part of the reason why it was so quiet. Wonderful place that we would definitely stay at any time we are in Porto! Very large modern apartment with basic kitchen and extremely clean and comfortable throughout. Front desk staff very helpful, one of which spoke excellent English, the other only very basic English but both very friendly. Good neighborhood in which we felt safe anytime day or night. Nearby restaurants and ice cream stores. The small complimentary bottle of Port wine was a nice touch. Hamper basket of breakfast delivered to our door each morning was a delicious delight.

Excellent place to stay in a great location. Immaculate well appointed rooms with quality linen and towels. Helpful staff. One thing to note, our room was at the rear and it was peaceful and quiet, however our friends had a room at the front and had street noise on Saturday night until after 4am (I would add though that Porto were playing Sporting Lisbon that evening!). I would not hesitate to stay here next time I visit Porto.

The accommodations are new, clean and very comfortable. It is great value and a great location. That front desk staff was incredibly kind and helpful, and hey even did laundry for us with no charge! Love this apartment. My friend and I stayed at the ground floor one bedroom with another double bed in the living room. Excellent location which is close to the train / metro stations (within 10min walk). The apartment seems brand new too. Breakfast is available at another hotel across the street or at a nearby cafe (8min walk) if you wish to have breakfast after 10am. Most attractions are quite walkable so I didn’t take any public transit.
The receptionists were very friendly and gave good recommendations on restaurants.
Would definitely recommend this and come back again.
The only criticism is that the WiFi signal for our flat was quite weak, we had to stay in a certain area to go online and there’s no plug in the washroom for hairdryer.
