We had a great experience at the hotel. Great location close to the main attactions and to transportation. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and made sure we were having a great stay. We also were lucky to be upgraded to bigger room which was a nice plus (especially because we were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary!). If O go back to Porto, I will definitely stay here again.

Such a beautiful hotel. From the moment you sit down to check in, you are treated like you are valued. They staff are warm and welcoming and the rooms are spotless.
The rooms have everything you need in them a the window adds an odd, but quirky extra. The beds are comfy and I loved that there were two sorts of pillows so you could mould it to your choice. We didn’t eat there so can’t comment on food but if the pastries we were given on check in were anything to go by, I am sure it would be amazing.
I was unfortunately rather ill on our last day there (not alcohol induced either!) and whilst I had to call the staff for some help, they couldn’t have been more amazing and caring. They genuinely wanted to do all they could to help and I couldn’t fault them at all.
The shower is lovely and powerful, the bed is comfy and the location of the hotel is perfect.
Do I have any negatives, yes - we only got two espresso pods for the whole stay (we were there for 5 days) and it would have been nice for them to be replenished but there are loads of nice places to get coffee near by so it wasn’t a huge issue. The hairdryer isn’t powerful so with long thick hair like myself, it took far too long (just take your own) and if you can get the aircon to work in the room or the gym then you are a better person than I am. In fairness to that last comment though, I didn’t ask for help from the staff and I have no doubt they would have done if I had swallowed my pride a bit!

The hotel was ok, but staff at main desk was not helpful and in fact negatively effects my whole experience here. I asked for a room on upper floor and away from elevator and got the opposite. (2nd floor in front of elevator) and staff refused to resolve the issue. Gave me a card to the management and said I had to email them with the issue, but said it wouldn’t matter! Not a way to handle a valued customer. In addition, I was to receive a bottle of wine for my stay and didn’t receive it! Not standard for a 5 star Hotel.

The hotel was wonderful! We booked two rooms for 5 nights and our experience was great. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are perfectly decorated, just like a guest room at any home. The sheets and towels where in perfect condition. We stayed during the New Year celebrations and although the hotel is right in front of the festivities, our rooms where quite, we could sleep peacefully. The bathroom was clean and modern. I absolutely loved this boutique hotel and recommend it to anyone going to Porto.

It’s a beautiful hotel in a nice area of Porto. Receptionists are always there to great us and they were very helpful.
Room was very cozy and well stocked with amenities. It’s on the small side, but adequate for two of us.

The room itself was very nice. A fairly small washroom. Breakfast was unfortunately running low. Every time I went so I was not able to fully indulge.
I was not allowed to check in until after 3 PM. It seems like a very strict policy, even if the room is ready.
I watched couples before, and after me receive water and a pastry upon arrival which was not offered to me unfortunately.
Because I arrived one hour early, I left my luggage at the hotel and they nicely brought it up to the room, waiting for me when I arrived.
It is a great location.
It seems like more of a four-star hotel versus a five in my opinion.

This is a great location in Porto. You can walk everywhere. The hotel is safe, clean, & friendly staff. The only issue we had was no hot water the morning of our departure, so cold shower before we left. I told the people about it and it was corrected when we left. But I would still stay there again .

The hotel is an amazing oasis of tranquility in the heart of Porto. A small quiet 5star boutique style hotel.
A fantastic stay except breakfast was underwhelming and staff not at all attentive which was a bit disappointing considering everything else was superb. Trays weren't cleaned off yet staff standing around. No explanation hot freshly cooked options were available. My sister who is celiac was treated like a leper... I did push for a cooked breakfast and was met with a very accomplished eggs Benedict. My sister had an incredible omelette and mom had poached eggs.
No refill of coffee offered and while food was lovely staff walked around like zombies. Sorry guys, you work in hospitality and there are plenty of staff!

Hotel is perfectly situated to benefit from local attractions with a metro station close by. Hotel was very quiet and all air conditioned so nice and cool of a day and evening. This boutique hotel was quite the find. Smartly appointed and well maintained; the location was right on the main plaza downtown. A couple of things stood out. The front desk staff were fantastic; professional, courteous, very helpful. The restaurant was an unexpected joy as the chef (Leoni?) put together a superb meal for us and stopped by to chat and talk about the food. Our server (I've forgotten her name but she's a young lady with an eipc fro) was fantastic as well. Also, I'd be remiss in not mentioning the breakfast manager who ran the morning's meals; she was the bomb. She was like a conductor of a symphonic orchestra directing staff to cater to the needs of their customers all the while she pitched in with a wink and a smile making sure everyone was prepared to hit the streets for their day's activities. Highly recommend.

This was my second time staying in this hotel and had a really great stay again. The service at check in was great - I had an early flight and they dealt with the formalities of check in when I arrived and held on to my luggage until my room was ready. When I came back to collect my room key, they said they had taken my case up which was a nice touch.

The room itself was really comfortable, spacious and clean. They left some little snacks out on arrival as well as a bottle of port which was nice. The rainfall shower was really lovely and a nice spacious shower.

Location wise this is great - doesn’t take long to get to the river but also close to Sao Bento and Trinidad’s stations.

There is 24/7 reception staff which helped me to feel safe especially as a solo female traveller.

Will definitely come back and stay again!

The Editory Boulevard Aliados in Porto is a gem, perfectly situated in a central location—a non-negotiable for me when I travel. The hotel is comfortable and stylish and the lobby is very attractive. The staff were incredibly helpful and very pleasant. The food in the restaurant is very good including the vegetarian options. We ate there twice even though we had the whole city to choose from. The only downside was that there was a strange porthole window from the bedroom to the bathroom so you could see people using the toilet. They should put frosted or distorting glass in this window. It is not normal.

Extraordinary hotel!!

The Editory Aliados is a beautiful hotel. We loved the staff that functioned as both reception and concierge. The breakfast was very nice, although some variety from day to day would have nice. The bar was small and intimate. The location was perfect with lots of dining and things to do within a few minutes walk. A metro stop was just a few feet from the front door. Rooms were quiet and very comfortable. Outstanding bathrooms!

The continental breakfast was a perfect selection of food options and a great way to start the journey/day.

The rooms (we stayed in the Superior View Room) was very spacious, clean and elegant but not much of a view, however that does not matter.

Highly recommend this place for the price, amenities and location and not to forget the amazing staff.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are super helpful. However, I don't believe this hotel should advertise that it has a pool. The \"pool\" is very small, more of a pond and it is a long walk through the hotel, through a dining area, upstairs and through a bar area - it's not really suitable to walk through in swimwear. Unlike other hotels with a pool, it would not be possible to order drinks at the pool or lie on a sun lounger. The hotel itself is lovely though, there was a snack on arrival and a lovely greeting. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. The TV is a good size and the facilities are nice. The hotel is right next to a metro stop and bus stop and in easy walking distance of good restaurants, bars and most attractions. I would stay again, but I wouldn't bother to pack my swimsuit.

Myself and my partner had an amazing weekend away in Porto and this hotel was perfect for us.

The hotel is in a great location in the centre of Porto and is so easy to get to from the airport via the metro.

The staff were incredibly helpful throughout and the hotel itself is really clean, very well done and the room was perfect.

We cannot recommend this hotel enough and would certainly be happy to go again.

Sometimes the toilet flush was not working perfectly, water runs continuesly. The sink was clogged. There is no chair in the room, we have to ask for it and they provided right away. .The breakfast was just an ordinary one, everyday always the same food. As a 5 star hotel, we expected more than that and for us, it’s only a 4 star

Our stay was ok. There were a couple of very helpful staff members but one of the receptionist almost put my fiance into strangers car because she was too lazy to check the license plate. That was even after my fiance told her it wasn't her uber. We also didn't get our room cleaned for some reason. It's a great location but there aren't many amenities and considering the price and area, it leaves a lot to be desired. 6/10.

Great location in Porto!

What a great hotel in the center of Porto! The location couldn't be beat - right next to a Metro station and a few bus lines and a short walk to a train station. There was another Editory hotel nearby, but this one isn't in the crazy busy tourist area, just a few minutes away. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and gave great recommendations on things to do. It was nice to have a pool area to relax in after a busy day. Beds were very comfortable, the bathroom as fully stocked, and we loved the fluffy bathrobes!
