Very clean room with great view of City Hall. Very functional too with lots of power outlets. Great huge bed with nice pillows and tremendous bathroom especially the shower and love the full length mirror on reverse of sliding bathroom door. Cleaning staff were super friendly in providing more bottles of water etc.
However, check-in was very very slow - 20 minutes is pretty upsetting especially after a long journey. Surely you can try to expedite this process especially when a big tour group is checking in. A bit disappointing too that there's no lunch restaurant in the hotel.

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is beautiful, the location is convenient, and the bar downstairs is excellent with a great atmosphere.

The only issue was that we booked a room for three guests, but the room was not prepared for three people upon arrival. There were not enough towels, and the third bed had not been set up. Unfortunately, we had to wait approximately seven hours for the extra bed because the request was overlooked by the staff.

Aside from that inconvenience, everything else was great. The staff was friendly, the facilities were enjoyable, and we especially loved the bar downstairs. With a little more attention to room preparation, our stay would have been excellent.

Property looked lovely. My room did not meet my expectations for cleanliness, on entering i found a few hairs on the floor that were left behind likely rushed cleaning. During the night of my stay on day 1, I found 3 small roaches, the last was the biggest, I was able to switch to another room as I could not stay amongst whatever infestation was happening in that room. My friend also had to have her sheets changed as on pulling back her bed spread she found wet still large droplets, some looked crusty on her bed sheets.
They were very helpful to rectify our issues thankfully, but the experience was already met unfortunately and was not up to what we expected for cleanliness. Otherwise we had a pleasant stay.

Breafast buffet was plentiful with wide choices of items.
Porto is beautiful city, however it is hilly. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Good location, walking distance to all landmarks. was assigned to level 2 room which is noisy as it’s close to the road. Hotel reassigned me to a corner room at level 5. Room is quite small for its value. You can hardly put 2 luggages

Breakfast is ok. Nice spa that one can enjoy, free for 1 hr every day.

Generally the service is quite slow and inefficient. Takes >20 mins when we request for water or stuff.

Room housekeeping wasn’t done when we requested for it at 1230. Then when we came back at 4 pm it still wasn’t done. It’s a bit annoying after 2 reminders.

Gym water dispenser js empty. Called for service and it took ages.

It’s a nice hotel , clean and new but service level needs to be greatly improved.

Overall I like it cos if it’s location and it’s not as busy as other hotels.

Very clean room - no dust whatsoever as I’m allergic and can tell. Beds are comfortable. Nice sheets. Espresso maker and bathrobes and good hairdryer.
Very polite at the front desk.
Booked the spa and had it to myself. Fantastic. Sauna, steam room little pool with chairs and jets in the water. Bathrobes and slipper and they give you a hair net type of cap.
Perfectly located. Highly enjoyable stay. Quiet too and I had a balcony.

Nice location, hotel is good too. Breakfast is fine, nothing too different! I gave a four rather than a five star as i didn’t find the hotel staff too welcoming and courteous. On day 2 i had to ask for room cleaning a couple of times and it was done past 6pm inspite of me putting the tag outside. I came back in the afternoon and room was not cleaned. Apart from that hotel is good, location is great

Our hotel in Porto was in a fantastic location, right next to City Hall, which made it perfect for exploring the city. We were especially lucky to have a balcony overlooking the square—it turned out to be an incredible surprise! On May 16, we got to watch the FC Porto Championship celebrations right from our room, which made our stay feel even more special and memorable.

The room was immaculate with a spacious bedroom and wet room
The location is central and within walking distance to all main tourist spots
It is sound proofed and very quiet
The breakfast is amazing with an array of beautifully prepared food options including Nespresso coffee
This was the best hotel we have booked on Expedia and we will definitely return

Great hotel in an excellent location.

Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Good shower and bathroom.

Breakfast was lovely, with a wide range of hot and cold, sweet and savoury. We were stuffed every morning.

There are plenty of restaurants around the hotel, and the metro station is literally by the front door.

My only complaint us that the lifts are incredibly slow.

Lovely place to stay! Super central location for walking and the metro. Mattresses were hard, but that has been true for all the hotels in Portugal. The highlight was the pool sequence (included 1x per day) with the sensory shower, Turkish bath, sauna, and pool. My 13 yo son was crazy for it, but we all enjoyed.

The service was truly exceptional. Every staff member we encountered was professional, welcoming, and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.
You can’t beat this location. It’s right in the heart of Porto on Avenida dos Aliados, making it incredibly easy to walk to the major landmarks, São Bento station, and local restaurants. Everything was top-tier. The hotel itself is stunning and modern. We especially enjoyed the well-equipped gym and the spa facilities. The room was spotless, quiet, and the bed provided a perfect night’s sleep. Highly recommended!

All persons we had contact were wonderful, helpful, and friendly. The hotel is very modern and well laid out. Breakfast was okay and a bit pricy. The hotel was situated in a great area in Porto with many sites within walking distance. The entrance to the metro is 25 meters from the door. Parking is an issue, though the hotel helped me secure a spot one day later.

It was a very bad experience in my 30 years traveling . It was especially bad in the housekeeper department. The cleaning staff who did our room has no training at all. 1. When we came back to our room in the end of the 1st day, all dirty cups were not cleaned or replaced. No new coffee capsules were filled. No new water bottle was replaced. The towels were changed, but missing one. The sink still had toothpaste stain on. 2. Our friend’s room had no new bath tissue added . The leftover from last day was not enough so had to run to downstairs to ask because there was no housekeeper phone number to dial. 3. We asked for two separated twin beds. One comforter was folded king size. The other is twin comforter. One of us was did not sleep well because was too hot. We asked to change when we realized that was a wrong comforter. I only can say the staff was too lazy to get another right comforter for the twin bed set up. I don’t want judge whether this hotel qualify 5 state. They even lack of very basic services. After I complained to the front desk (I actually wanted to speak with the manager on duty. I was told not available and they will covey it to manager). I neither heard from the manager nor any sincere apology since then.

The complimentary spa service was relaxing and much appreciated, and the restaurant offered excellent food and service. Special thanks to Sergio for going above and beyond.

The hotel feels more like a 4-star than a 5-star, with small room and bathroom sink, bed uncomfortably hard, and it's a bit far from downtown center. The room is clean and front desk staff are friendly, but the price of $320 per night is outrageous. The buffet lunch was one of the worst I had in 25 years touring around the world. Very limited selection of hot breakfast items for 20 euros.
