Fabulous apartment, stylish, clean and comfy. Sonia greeted us and is as lovely as everyone says, enthusiastic, helpful, super friendly, goes above and beyond! We had a room at the front overlooking the road with a little balcony for most of the holiday, lively road but quiet, restaurants and bars close by. Perfect location for all the top spots and transport links. For our last 2 nights we got a cheeky upgrade to an apartment at the back with a bigger balcony and spectacular views so if it’s available I’d recommend getting a room at the back which will state city view. Lovely treat of some port waiting for us too!

One thing to note, no bureaus to put away clothes, but we totally made due. Let's not forget Sonia, who was the point person at the accommodation. We loved this gorgeous little apart-hotel for so many reasons. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of Porto but still on a quiet street and so close to lots of lovely bars, cafes, restaurants and attractions. We’re so happy we chose Casa Caldeireiros for our stay in Porto! We arrived over an hour early and informed Diogo and Sonia, who were able to accommodate an early check-in at no extra charge. Sonia was amazing! She was extremely friendly and welcoming, and provided a lot of useful information about the property and surrounding area. The room and property were very clean and smelled lovely and fresh.
The property is well located and easily accessible by car or walking. There were plenty of nearby options for food, drinks and entertainment. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Porto! Thank you so much Sonia & Diogo for a wonderful stay ♥️

Such a great place to stay to explore Porto with ease and what a beautiful morning and evening view. The Casa is super conveniently located -- in downtown Porto, close to Ponte de Luis, the plaza, waterfront, a bus ride away from Matosinhos, and just by Sao Bento and other metros. While you might not hear right away from property management, it is worth following up and calling. Once there, Sonia is absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful! We hope our next stay in Porto will be back here!

Great communications prior to trip. Luggage store prior to and after checkout. Sonia is amazing - so very friendly and helpful with great recommendations. Room was just what we needed - beds very comfortable (better than my own at home), everything spotlessly clean. Sufficient kitchen equipment for what we needed. Sonia even gave us a lesson on the induction hob as we have never used one before. Would not hesitate to return. Lovely trip.

Nice location within walking distance of many things. As with much of Lisbon there is a lot of refurbishment work so there is some inconvenience when using pull along luggage.

What a unique, beautiful place with exposed stones and bricks and a fantastic view! It's in a great location in the city. Just walk out the door and you're in the midst of everything, but when you're inside it's quiet. Sonia was fantastic. Very nice and clean with modern amenities but old world charm. Great communication with the property manager who let us on site, got our suitcases out of our car and carried all our stuff up. Amazing! We even had a bottle or port wine in our room for us! The location is very central to access the entire city and tourist areas. Parking is the only problem as is in all historic large cities. It cost us 58 euros for two days In the parkade across the street which was safe and super close! I would Highly recommend staying at this property!

The view out the window was incredible and so peaceful on the terrace. Great location! Sonia was so helpful with recommendations. A note to anyone who has heavy suitcases or bad knees. The stairs are incredibly steep in this building and very narrow. Please keep that in mind when deciding which level to stay on.

We could not have booked a better place to stay. The position of the apartment was perfect and central to everything we wanted to see and do. The communication between us and the owner was second to none, and we were greeted at 22:15 Friday night with a huge smile and welcome by Sonia. Sonia was a fountain of knowledge and provided us with lots of ideas and recommendations. She also helped us with arranging our ticket for the metro on our return journey. The view from the balcony looking over the Cathedral at night was amazing and the complimentary carafe of local port was a great touch. The room had coffee and tea and the kitchenette all though we didn't use was a nice touch. It was also our first visit to Porto and it didn't disappoint in any way, would recommend walking over the bridge and getting the cable car down to the wine cellars, where you can get a Port taster session for as little as €5 for 5 different styles of wine. Thank you for everything, you certainly have an asset in Sonia and a beautiful block of apartments.

Just got back home from a lovely stay in Porto. The accommodation is lovely. I stayed in a room on the second floor facing the street. I loved the bare stone walls. There were tea and coffee provided and a lovely carafe of port. Sonia is so welcoming and gave me details of which restaurants to go to and a lovely bakery around the corner. She is such a lovely person and I promised her I will go back. I recommend Porto to anyone who hasn’t been.

Beautiful property with charming character and fantastic location within Central Porto. Really clean, well equipped with self-catering facilities and toiletries. Sonia our host lady was beyond welcoming, kind and informative! She made us feel really at home (with a lovely welcoming bottle of Port) and gave us some great recommendations for things to do.
