Nice Location but get access codes before arriving
We had not been given the code to access the front door so we were stuck outside until we could contact the owner. We also never got access to the internet despite calling and being told they would reset the router. The unit is in a nice location though. I wish they were a bit more attentive to details such as the access codes Before we got there. Another point was that someone had left an unwashed dish and knife in the sink. Otherwise, all else was very clean.

The location and installation is great! Very spacious for a family of four. The only reason I gave this a lower review than usual is because the check in process was not smooth for us. They were supposed to send me a code before arrival and they never did. I called the number on the building and couldn’t get a hold of them till after 20 mins. There is no one in the building that can guide or help if needed.

We stayed the nights of 6&7 May 2025.The owner should have advised us in advance of the student parade and the construction because we could not find the parking garage that was close to the apartment. When we called the manager from our car after making the first circle around the apartment, the owner sent us a link, but it had no directions. The link did not name the garage so that we could put it into our GPS. Consequently, we found a parking garage that was quite a distance and ended up costing us over €100 for having spent two nights at the apartment. What’s more, we had to drag our luggage uphill over cobblestones for a quarter of a mile in order to reach the apartment. There were no instruction manuals in the apartment for how to use the washing machine or the stove top. We had to call the owner. It was rather stressful since we were trying to cook dinner. The kitchen cabinet doors were coming off the hinges, and there was not even a bowl to make a salad in. The second morning we woke up to no hot water for a shower. No response from owner when we texted. For the very high price we paid for two nights, we would have really appreciated a partial refund for this less than satisfactory experience. Again, no response from owner.

Clean, spacious, and well-appointed. Convenient location to restaurants and attractions. The only downside was that we were not sent a physical address in advance, and the building exterior doesn’t have a sign, so we were wandering around the general vicinity but had no idea which building was ours. Luckily, we had a phone number and received a prompt reply with the needed information.

There is construction happening nearby but not at night. The city is adding to their metro train line. It’s a busy area, but perfectly situated for everything. Half a block from Sao Bento station.

This apartment is exactly as it looks. I was never sent the codes to get into the building and the apartment and they're phone wasn't working. It was a hassle. Make sure you get them before you arrive because no one is there. Loved the location and overall clean and well stocked. There was kind of a gas smell coming from the bathroom but I am nose sensitive! Give it a 4.5 overall!

No front desk. When we finally got someone to talk to they didn’t speak any English, apartment walls were dirty our main bathroom had a written note on door that said broken. Expedia web site said 15.00 for parking paid 42.00 dollars. Bathroom had mold on doorframe. Not a very pleasant stay. Plus said a free bottle of water.we never received a bottle of water

1 night stay in Porto historic district
I love the location, the overall condition, and the layout of this property. I only had 1 night and 1/2-a-day in Porto and spent most of my time walking and sightseeing during the day rather than kicking back and enjoying the property. The only suggestion I have for the property management is to communicate by email or messages via hotel.com’s app in advance on how to get into the building upon arrival. I asked the staff in the store next door on how to get someone to open the door and was told to use WhatsApp to call the phone number of the door. I am fortunate to have roaming data on my cell phone that allowed me to call the management via WhatsApp. Some people may not have that option and may not know that is what they need to do since there is no doorbell to ring. It didn’t take long for the management to send a staff to come open the door for me and let me drop off my luggage in my unit so I could head out to enjoy the city while they finish cleaning my unit. I texted the management to get suggestions on where to eat and he was very quick in responding. I enjoyed that recommendation and had a fabulous time during my short stay in Porto. I love the sleeping area being upstairs in my duplex unit but for people who may not be able to climb about 17 steps from the sitting area to the sleeping area within the unit, this may not be for you.

They had used a scam on the air conditioning so that even though they were both on powerful cold setting the room got no cooler - it was so uncomfortable at 2am that I opened the unit and found that tape had been put over the sensors inside - I took it off and the unit worked perfectly. We were in such a rush to leave the next morning because we had no sleep and I forgot a bag of clothes and medication as well as a bowl for one of my dogs and up until this moment they have not replied to any of our emails about this.
I would recommend that you do not stay here, this was not a cheap room and It ended up costing us SO MUCH MORE, including the loss of a nights sleep.

Property is lovely, modern, clean, stylish, well situated, oversized bath towels and well stocked on amenities. Only two issues, lack of communication. I received an email requiring online check-in, did so, received another email stating check-in/checkout times & that someone was available at the front desk from 11am-8pm, but there is no front desk. Access to the building & room are by code, which I had to get the store next door to call property management for. Still on the lack of communication, there is a minor leak under the sink in the ensuite washroom, I contacted the property via the appropriate e-mail link to advise, but no response.

The property just near to Porto Sao Bento (3mins walk). At first, I can't find the property as I used to look at big signboard (just small sticker on glass door). Finally I managed to fint it based on the address (haha). I super like this place as I booked 1 bedroom apartment. Thank for friendly & helpful staffs. Highly recommended this place.

A few hurdles at check-in, but great overall
This is a beautiful apartment in the center of old Porto. Very spacious and very clean. It has a full-equipped kitchen with not only a dishwasher, but a washing machine as well. Sadly, they gave us only 3 coffee pods for the machine, so we had to find a shop to purchase more. Each of the 2 bedrooms has their own bathroom and there is also one off the living room. Our only problem was checking in. There is no “front desk” as described on Hotels.com. We were supposed to have received a code to enter the building and another one for the apartment. We did not get this information. Fortunately, my son has a Portuguese cell and speaks the language a little. If it had been only my husband and I, we would have been absolutely lost. Parking garages are few and far between, so plan on a walk. Overall, save the check in debacle, we are very, very happy here.

An enjoyable stay in Porto pity about the weather.
The property is centrally located 2 minutes from the Sao Bento train / metro station. The apartment I was allocated 4A was beautiful (on 2 levels). Very well decorated, maintained and equipped. The apartment was accessed via a lift. The issue I would raise was access to the building itself is via an entry code. I contacted the property via email the day before I arrived with an approximate time of arrival. I did not receive any email response therefore I was expecting a reception desk. If it had been for the young girl in the shop next door who phoned the landlord for me I would have been unable to access the property. I think the landlord needs to ensure that he/she contacts tenants the day before with building and apartment access codes.

We enjoyed our 2 bedroom apartment. It was large and spacious. The apartment was centrally located and we could easily walk to the subway station and to the river district. It was quiet and clean but the kitchen needed a few more utensils to make cooking easier.. It was handy having a washing machine and dryer in the suite.
The Porto weather was hot but the air conditioners worked really well in keeping the suite cool.

RS Porto apartment was beautiful, modernly designed and furnished but still kept some references the the old building in which it's located. Our 2 bedroom apartment was HUGE and very comfortable with kids, 3 full bathrooms, kitchen with all appliances you can need and the location is just fantastic right next to Sao Bento station, Porto's Cathedral, Dom Luis Bridge, Ribeira and more.
Communication was also very good, we were contacted in advance to get the codes to the property. When the apartment we got had a problem with the AC and couldn't be fixed until the next day they quickly offered that we a move to a similar apartment that was luckily available. Although our reservation included a baby there was no crib left in the apartment, they offered to come and set it up the next day (as we arrived in the evening) as we mentioned we need it for that night they told us where we can find one and pick it ourselves.
Would highly recommend and will come again for sure.
Small negatives: (1) Information about parking is not up to date, the parking they direct you to is around 35 EUR per day (it's very close) notice you can purchase an online fare for less which we found out about too late; (2) For our 3 nights stay there was no cleaning or towel\bedsheet change, we didn't ask and they didn't offer.

Our apartment was amazing. 3 bathrooms for an apartment that comfortably sleeps 4 people was a real treat! Great location. If having a reception is important to you then avoid as there isn't one. Just a desk that is never manned. It didn't affect us but it isn't a \"hotel\" as we expected. Overall great stay and would recommend.

This is a newly remodeled studio right in the heart of Porto. Close to everything. Very spacious with good amenities. The negatives are the noisy location with the outside noise/traffic and the unit looks directly onto a fountain where the homeless sleep and people do drugs. I highly recommend you ask for the door codes in advance. Otherwise when you arrive at the unit, you will need to call the number on the door and they will text them to you within a few minutes. That was not explained well.

This property was perfect. Great location, immaculately clean and very close to the shops and cafes. Lovely facilities with everything you could need quite a luxurious. It’s a 10 min walk leading to the river bridge and cafe/bars.
It was difficult to find as it’s a doorway in between the shops. Sao Bento is the easiest train station to get off and it’s a 5 min walk to the property.
The only thing that would be helpful was instructions for kitchen equipment.

It will be nice if the property owner to leave some written information inside the property. it is fine if the owner is not local and not present, but at least have a whatsapp number or leave a bunch of information for the guests.

Very spacious apartment. Both bedrooms had their own bathrooms. Centrally located in Porto, within walking distance to all sites and metro. Check-in was very easy. Only issue we had was the dishes hadn’t been properly washed from a previous stay and had food remnants stuck on them. Make sure to wash them before using.

Very nice property. Very clean. Few issues we had: we got there after a night of travelling and we did not receive an access code for main door. It was pouring rain and we couldn’t reach anyone. We had to go to a travel tourism office to be able call someone. The access code issue needs to be fixed ASAP for other travellers. Also there was no bottled water and no smartphone in the unit ( as was advertised).

The apartment was huge and perfect. Nice location. We never saw a human. Had trouble with no hot water and it was the end of the day before someone got back to me with what to do, though in fairness I only messaged; I did not call. Code to get in was sent by email at check in time. Biggest complaint was the parking. I had the impression there was something on site. The garage was very close, but also very expensive.

Good location but there was no heat in the apartment with 0 degrees overnight so very uncomfortable during day and especially at night. No toilet paper in bathroom. Clothes washer but no dryer. Simple changes could greatly improve this apartment T since it does have a great location near sights and train.

Steps from the central train station we came in on, and central to so much in Porto. This apartment is gorgeous, with very comfortable beds. The wash/dryer combo was also so helpful! The bathrooms luxurious! Multiple windows open up to a gorgeous street but once closed it was silent. This is located on a Main Street with multiple cafes, restaurants and stores feet away. Would stay again 100%

We had a fantastic trip to Porto and the apartment suited are needs perfectly.
The apartment is situated right in the centre of Porto and is a short walk from Sao Bento train station.
The staff at the apartment were very helpful and provided us with a talk about the city as soon as we arrived. You also have a smartphone in the apartment which has lots of information about Porto such as where to eat and drink.
If you are thinking about a trip to Porto, I would definitely recommend Your Opo.

My wife and I normally use mass transit on our vacations abroad, and this place was conveniently located within a 5 minute walk from the metro station. Communication is encouraged prior to your arrival, and they reached out to me a week before. Luckily they were able to use 'whatsapp', because I have no cell service outside of the USA.
Hugo was there when we arrived, and was super nice. We got a fully furnished apartment right off of a main street in downtown Porto. We had a kitchenette, eating area, sitting area, bedroom area (studio apartment), and a narrow balcony overlooking the street. The bathroom was clean and towels and toiletries were provided. There was a combo washer/dryer for our clothes, ironing board, iron, refrigerator, fully functioning apartment. The grocery store was a 5 minute walk away and pointed out to us by Hugo. The queen bed was comfortable, and the apartment smelled fresh.
I mentioned we were on a main street. Once I closed the balcony doors, the noise level dropped to near zero. Sleeping was not a problem.
Something we didn't expect, but were very glad we were offered, was a working cell phone that we could use during our stay. It was able to receive data all over the city, and allowed us to use google maps on our walkabouts. It also came with 30 minutes of international calling!
