This is a fab place to stay for a trip to Lisbon, the rooms are a nice size and there is free water and coffee pods which are replenished whenever you want. The breakfast is very good value with lots of choice and the views are great. Added bonus of free biscuits and fizz in the downstairs lobby whenever you want. The staff are lovely and we will definitely stay again.

This was a perfect stay at a perfect hotel! Everything was amazing: the breakfast fresh, varied and massive, the bed super comfortable, the bathroom spotlessly clean and fully equipped, the staff beyond polite & helpful (thank you Renato for the lunch suggestion, and thank you Rui for doing your best to upgrade us). The gastropub on the 7th floor was a gem. The view was breathtaking and the cocktails & food were all top notch. Both nights we went up there. The location is also very good as it is only a short walk from the historic centre, 15mins max to the river, and most importantly is in a flat area, not a hilly one, which made our walks with my 75 year old mum easy and enjoyable. I could not fault this hotel. Thank you for an unforgettable stay!

Altis Avenida Hotel was in the heart of the city. I was able to walk to a plethora of restaurants and other sightseeing activities. I also did all of my souvenir shopping diwn the street. Even the grocery store is less than a 5 minute walk. And the staff is exceptional. From the moment we stepped foot in the hotel, they welcomed us with warm greetings. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great stay!

Great hotel. Everyone was so nice!
Rooms were great, shower and bath were also amazing. Black out blinds are amazing at helping with jet lag.
Can hear a bit of noise from the hall in the morning but night time was quiet.
Great location, would definitely stay again!

The hotel was very nice and extremely well located in the Old District to explore beautufil Lisbon. The front desk and concierge services were very effecient and always friendly. The rooftop is a terrific spot for evening viewing, having a cocktail and the food was very good with a sufficiently broad menu.

Location was great and right near a train station. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Parking not bad, large garage not to much of a walk. Roof top good but more expensive as wood be expected. They brought us blankets when it was cooler! Loved that touch. Mini bar is not free as I thought I heard them say in intro. Not clear pricing. No prices near it and we spent a lot not knowing drinking the water and a couple of snacks. Post prices near the fridge!!

Hotel was beautiful. I’m sad we only had one night there. Staff were great. The room was very nice and loved the shower. Also really thought the 7th floor lounge area was spectacular. If I come back to Portugal, I will definitely book 2-3 nights here.

Outstanding hospitality!

Hats off to everyone at Altis for going above and beyond in making my first time at Altis not the last. Everyone was kind, friendly and genuine! I cannot say enuf praise for the front desk/reception/concierge and super sweet housekeeping. Altis must be doing something right as you could feel the crew giving their best, Bravo Altis!! Location, location, location! In the heart of Lisbon, walkable 100% to anywhere in Lisbon and ticket office / train stations within steps for any excursions elsewhere. Wonderful VIP treatment from check-in through check out. Staff always on stand-by to assist with smiles, nice home base after a long day of sightseeing. Enjoyed the guest only sun deck to see the sunset every night with complementary glass of Portuguese spumante.
