I had a wonderful stay at River Side Tbilisi Hotel. The location is perfect — right in the heart of Tbilisi, within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, and the Old Town area. It made exploring the city incredibly easy and convenient.
The rooms were very clean and well-maintained. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day, and everything felt fresh and comfortable. The bed was especially cozy, which made it easy to relax after a long day of sightseeing.

Overall, it’s a great choice for anyone visiting Tbilisi. Excellent location, friendly staff, clean rooms, and a very comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to coming back again!

Had a great stay at Riverside Tbilisi Hotel! The place is super Instagrammable, especially the restaurants — perfect for photos any time of day. Everything was really clean and well looked after, from the room to the common areas. The vibe is cozy but stylish. Breakfast was a highlight: lots of choice, fresh food, and really tasty coffee. The location is great too, easy to walk around and explore the city. Would 100% stay here again!

I had a wonderful stay at Riverside Tbilisi Hotel. The location is excellent—right by the river, with beautiful views and easy access to the old town, restaurants, and main attractions. The hotel itself is very clean, comfortable, and well maintained.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile and great local recommendations. The rooms were spacious, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring the city.
Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with a good variety of options, and enjoying it with the river view was a real highlight. Overall, Riverside Tbilisi Hotel offers great comfort, warm hospitality, and a perfect location. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tbilisi.

This truly is a TERRIBLE hotel. I think they’ve done some smart marketing with the Tiffany blue and Tiffany bar and Café. But the overall hotel is extremely shabby. My room had significant water damage and it had a drain in the bathroom with smells that were so terrible. It made me nauseous. I had to cover the drain with a towel, but you could still smell the sewage. Every time I showered water got literally everywhere. Their attempt at fixing the water damage is just by putting caulking on top of the mildew additionally being on the fifth floor I was right underneath the bar/terrace which meant between 8 PM and 11 PM. There was always loud music. There is no gym, no full length mirror and on one day I came back and it was already 4 PM and my room still had not been cleaned. I hated staying here. Towels were heavily stained and off-white color. I felt disgusted by the smell and overall cleanliness was extremely poor. I would not stay here again and I would not recommend. There are a lot better hotels in this area.

Quaint European Hotel with Old European LUXE feel and finishes! Attentive staff, Nice Xmas decorations, Beautiful breakfast variety (you could special order omelettes and oats) and views at Tiffany Bar and Lounge!! The best part was my room! GORGEOUS DELUXE TIFFANY SUITE with the blue and white finishes!, Chandeliers and beautiful carpet! Also great location right in the heart of the action in downtown Tbilisi close to Galleria Mall, Museums and great FOOD! Stayed for 1-week, Room cleaning could have been a bit better, but otherwise I highly recommend!

The hotel is cute and has some fun character parts. The breakfast has variety. You can ask for eggs to be made. They are usually ok, but maybe a bit over-cooked. The rooms are nice and good-sized. The AC/heat is good with a mini-split. There is a mini-bar, as well. The deadbolt lock on my door didn't work, and the internet doesn't consistently work, despite a router extender outside my door. The staff were helpful, and when an umbrella was needed, they had one I could borrow. It is right across the street from the Dry Bridge and Market. There are not a lot of restaurants or things around the hotel so be aware of that.

So far, I’ve been rather disappointed with this hotel. I did book a single room with a balcony, but I hadn’t expected the room to be quite so small—and located directly beneath a bar stage. The loud music continued until midnight, making it impossible to sleep. I reported the issue to reception, but they still refused to move me to another room.

In addition to this, I found some members of staff to be less than friendly or professional. Breakfast officially starts at 8am, and I was actually turned away when I tried to sit in the restaurant at 7:55am, which seemed rather absurd. Housekeeping is also not prompt—the overall service feels reminiscent of the Soviet era.

If you’re looking for that kind of experience, perhaps this hotel will suit you. But for those of us simply seeking a relaxing holiday, it may not be the best choice.

How River Side Hotel has managed to claim 5 stars is beyond me—unless those stars were bought and paid for. This is, at best, a run-down 2-star property masquerading as luxury. The place is dirty, poorly maintained, with visible leaks, moldy walls, and an overall vibe of neglect.

The so-called bar upstairs turns into a nightclub-level noise factory every night, with bass so intense the entire room shakes. Sleep? Impossible.

I had booked a 3-week stay and fled after just two miserable nights. When I politely explained the conditions were unlivable and far from what was advertised, the staff were not only dismissive but downright rude. Not only did they refuse a refund, but they had the audacity to charge me for a single coffee capsule I used while trying to stay awake through the noise.

There are plenty of decent places in Tbilisi—this isn’t one of them. Do yourself a favor and steer far, far away.

Lipstick on a pig. English comprehension was horrible. I am severely disabled - walk with two canes, heart and lung issues, and legally blind. Went inside to check in, was told by hotel staff it was wrong hotel. Gave directions which led to a construction site. Managed to walk back in the dark and was told that ofc it is the right hotel. Staff is beyond abysmal. Refused to give us manager’s name or contact details. Dark as a tomb inside. Never received any VIP benefits. Central heating was not turned on in near freezing temps. Did not understand what “toilet paper” means, so bought at a shop. “Marble” is just ceramic tile made to vaguely resemble marble. No charging points & very few outlets. Bluetooth speaker had US cord with 110v sticker, but was rated for 220v and ofc wrong shape for Georgia electricity. No adapters provided. Bathtub was covered with dark grey stains on the bottom. Robes were dingy and grey with age. Cushions ripped, carpet stained, multiple damage to walls, no peephole in the door, deadbolt on the door did not work at all. “Non-smoking” hotel with ashtray and smoking area directly directly in front of the only entrance. Breakfast buffet left to sit in the open for hours. Refused to print a receipt. Rude “security” jerk screamed “A-HOLE” in Georgian at me on departure. This dive is only “luxury” to locals who don’t know better. Infinitely better actual luxury hotel just 100 meters more up the road. I left. Heartily recommend you avoid at all costs.

My recent stay at the property was truly delightful, not only because of its impeccable cleanliness but also due to its superb location. Many of the main tourist spots were just a short walk away, which made exploring incredibly convenient.

OK hotel in historic building but poor breakfast

The River Side Hotel is a good hotel with a few issues. The location is excellent to access any part of Tbilisi either walking or by Taxi/Bolt.
We had three issues which lowered our opinion of this hotel: a) breakfast was very poor - the selection was very limited and most of it was not tasty. Though we have a reservation with breakfast, after the first day, we chose to skip breakfast and take it outside the hotel. b) we had 2 rooms - one was excellent, the 2nd was a bit creepy with it's colors and style c) room service was done very late - we came back at 17:00 on one day and the rooms were not done yet. They did quickly come up to make the rooms when we complained.
Overall, it's a fair value for the price paid, but we would have expected more for a 4* hotel with such high ratings on hotels.com (especially in regards to breakfast).

A pleasant enough stay. As a hotels.com gold member, I was upgraded to a larger room. The room could be best described as Soviet chic and had a bizarre constant smell of women's perfume, but fortunately the windows opened. Many of the rooms including mine faced onto a busy road, and could get noisy at times. The included breakfast was adequate, but not great. Avoid buying drinks or meals at the restaurant on the top of the hotel unless you are on an expense account as the costs are ridiculously high. The laundry was similarly you expensive. Otherwise, no complaints.

Hospitality was superb, smiling people and manager greeting guests in the morning, did have a quick chat with him about the hotel. He asked for suggestion about breakfast which was already very good. For the given price range it was much better than I thought, from walnuts and fresh waffles to lava cakes and great cup of coffee and hot omelets, Nice selection of salads as well, I really enjoyed tomatoes in Georgia and tiffany bar was not an exemption.

Beautiful hotel with exquisite crown molding and chandeliers throughout. Being a real estate investor, I really enjoy that kind of thing. The bed in the suite was much more comfortable than the superior room. Short walk to the President of Georgias house. I loved working out of the Tiffany bar on the first floor; it has amazing furniture and ambiance. The breakfast staff in the Tiffany bar was also very kind. Tiffany Terrace on the roof has good food and I think the price is reasonable for a boutique hotel in this part of the world. As much as I liked this hotel, there were two negatives. The first day I checked in, I went to the restaurant on the roof in the evening. I sat at the bar and was there literally ten minutes before the two staff members who were directly in front of me, acknowledged my presence. The girl who I believe is the restaurant manager, was one of the two staff members, and she was not very friendly to me the entire four days I was there, whether it was the Tiffany bar or the Tiffany Terrace. Secondly, I already think peoples manner have deteriorated with smart phones, with the use of speaker in public areas. Sunday afternoon, a family came into the Tiffany bar (I believe they were part of the group that owns the hotel). They proceeded to allow their kids to run around the restaurant like it's a playground and watch movies on their tablets on speaker, with no consideration for paying customers. Most of the staff are excellent and kind.

Stayed in Riverside for two nights, however could not extend more as it was fully booked for New Year. I like their special scent when you enter the lobby area and nice table with free welcome drink which I was offered during all day. Pretty good Sparking Wine. Room had great view over the park. Slept well, Internet speed was great and room was cozy. Bathroom with great shower and all the amenities I was hoping for including shaving accessories for free. I would love to come back.

Taxis in tbilisi try to double the price but bellboy was very helpful in this. Room on the 4th floor had a great terrace type balcony. Vibe is amazing and tiffany restaurants inside also full of trendy locals.

One of the best hotel experiences I ever had. Staff went beyond to make my third stay here great. I was upgraded, treated well. Room was huge, beautiful and cozy. Great hotel in a great location. Great sense of security in Tbilisi in general, and specifically around the hotel.
The room was very clean and very comfortable. Beds are super comfy
Above all - the staff really went above and beyond to help and answer any questions I had.
There is a nice lobby area downstairs, which the kids loved. The restaurant for breakfast and dinner is also great with some very tasty local dishes, and even things for the kids. Tiffany Terrace at night was very beautiful. Recommend to try some in house cocktails they offer.
It was a very hot week, but hotel has AC all around, so coming back from a city hike was relaxing. They offer discounts in many trendy shops, but I did not have time to try them. I would love to stay again if I manage to visit Tbilisi again
