Good Value Hotel if you travel by car

I have used this facility many times. Staff is extremely gentle and attend to client's needs.
Rooms are equipped with all it is need for a hotel of this category. Nice shower, good variety of TV channels but only in italian and good bed.
Breakfast exceeded my expectation especially for a Best Western.
A plus is the free parking and the vicinity to the Highway. City Center is just 5 minutes drive and there are plenty of parking (paying) around. The hotel also offers bikes service, I believe, so you can feel like a real Ferrara citizen, being the city full of bikers all around.
I will be back again for sure, as always when I am in Ferrara.

No more free bikes

I was supposed to stay for 2 weeks at this hotel. Unfortunately, the manager decided to start charging the rent of bikes, even though in states \"free use of bikes\" on HOTELS.COM. The front desk personnel was not helpful and even laugh when I explained that the reason I book this hotel is because of the free use of bikes. I immediately decided to cancel the rest of my stay and went to another hotel in Ferrara with free bikes.

Mediocre all-round

This hotel offered a lot of things online that were not available due to COVID (food services). The listing should absolutely be updated. The reception closes from 11pm-7am, so good luck getting breakfast if you have to leave early.

The beds were rock-hard, and there were no prices available for the items in the fridge (3Euro for a small bag of crisps).
The amenities provided were squeeze bottles of soap in the shower and by the sink, towels and toilet paper.

There was a water heater machine that I could not figure out how to add water to, so no self-made coffee, and a mini fridge.

The internet was OK for completing my work, making phone calls, and streaming videos but I had to adjust to a lower quality.

The gym was decent, but the treadmill did not work.

When I checked-in, I told the receptionist that I would be leaving a day earlier than my previously booked (but not paid) reservation. When I checked-out, they had already charged me for the full reservation. They were \"kind\" enough not to charge me the tax.

The hotel is close to an Aldi, a Lidl and a Steakhouse, which was the ONLY good thing about the location. The prices for laundry were ridiculous (one shirt cost 6 Euros) Don't stay here for more than one night.

Initially, we were unsure of the hotel since there was a terrible smell in the reception area. However, that had disappeared by the following morning. The room was excellent - really clean and comfortable. The location is in a semi-industrial area but we felt safe at all times and walked to the centre of Ferrara in about 20 minutes. Breakfast was excellent and the hotel service extremely good, thanks!

The local neighborhood is not really very nice but within 5 minutes drive or a 10 minute walk you are in fantastic Ferrara with all the culture, food, sightseeing etc you could want. there is a local super market and a steak restaurant very closeby

Disgusting, smelly and stained blankets/towels

Me and my family were traveling Italy, by car, and we needed a hotel to stay overnight in Ferrera. We had to book it last minute and have been driving all day. We arrived at 1:30am approximately. The hotel staff at the time was one elderly gentleman, did not speak much English to no fault of his own.

The room however, was absolutely disgusting. First, when we entered the room we were greeted with a terrible smell. We had to open windows and let the room air out for a good 30 minutes before we could even stay in it. While this I tried to ask hotel staff if there were any other rooms available and was told there were none.

So let me break it down to what made this the worst hotel experience we've ever had.
First there was the smell, then we discovered our blankets had SEVERAL stains all over it and the towels as well had stains. It was supposed to be a room for a family of 4 but it was ONE bed with ONE pillow and a FOLD OUT COUCH with ONE PILLOW. The mattress on the foldout couch was only a bit thicker than the metal frame supporting it. Needless to say it felt like sleeping on a rock, and woke up with sore backs and necks. And with how small the room was it got extremely stuffy in there quick.

Now, for a FOUR STAR hotel and the rate that we paid, we did not get 4 star treatment.

Best Western showed very little respect to their guests, and they'll be lucky if they ever get my business again.

I have pictures of the room as well, and plan on spreading the word about this.

A gem on the outskirts of the city

The Hotel is not in the best part of town but a brisk 10 minute walk and you are in Ferrara city with all its delights. The extremly friendly and helpful staff, the parking, the breakfast, the rooms & wifi and the nearby (1 minute) steakhouse and a supermarket, make this an ideal business stop.

OK, but we wouldn't go back...

Our experience at this hotel was uneven. On the plus side, the king size bed was fantastic, the room was spotless, free wifi was excellent, and breakfast was plentiful and good. On the negative side is the location of this hotel, which is just awful - in a commercial strip of urban/industrial wasteland 1.9 km outside of the charming medieval city of Ferrara. We booked here because the rate was excellent compared to other hotels in the city. Staff were kind and helpful, and if you just can't stand being away from an American eatery, you only need to walk next door for a steak or hamburger. Despite these amenities, we wouldn't go back because of location. Also note that the hotel is hard to find - the address does not correspond to where the GPS takes you.

We stayed here on our way to Trieste from Rome it is located approx 2 km from the historic town centre near the autostrada from the outside I was concerned when we approached. This was dispelled when we drive in easy parking, quick friendly check inn, clean comfortable room, great breakfast and very nice and clean breakfast room. Bike hire is also available ( Ferrara has the highest use of bikes in Europe ) really enjoyed this hotel

Very nice hotel but outside the historic center

We stayed here because were traveling by car and also wanted to save some money. The hotel itself is very nice in all details (excellent room, helpful personnel, lavish breakfast), but it's not in a particularly pleasant or desirable location. I would estimate it is 2-3 km from the historic center and it is surrounded by a car wash, warehouses, shopping centers, and some factories. The hotel provides bikes for free (first come, first served--be warned, and there are only 8 bikes) and there must be a bus route nearby (did not ask, since we drove to the outside edge of the center and parked there for the day for free). Hotel parking is free. Location is however convenient to major roads and the train station. A large American-style BBQ joint is just next door, but did not try it.

Stayed in a 4-person room. We were on a regular bed and kids shared a thin fold-out sofa. Bedding was flimsy. Pillows looked like disposable ones, very flat.

Easy place to stay. Felt like a US hotel with easy parking, breakfast included, etc.

Location required a drive into Ferrara. There's some sort of refinery nearby and roads looked too busy for walking/cycling. But drive is quick and parking was easy in Ferrara.

Abbiamo pernottato in questa struttura con un neonato. Avevamo selezionato il servizio gratuito “baby” e in camera abbiamo trovato uno scaldabiberon e un lettino. Dopo ci hanno anche portato la vaschetta per il bagnetto e il fasciatoio! Servizio impeccabile!!! Staff gentilissimo. Avevamo già pernottato presso strutture best western e ci siamo sempre trovati benissimo; ovviamente riconfermiamo!

l'abergo offre lo standard Best Western, che è di alto livello: ampio parcheggio, staff cortese, simpatico e professionale, check in e out rapidi, colazione di buon livello, WiFi ben funzionante. Camera ampia, televisore grande,bagno in perfette condizioni, ottima pulizia, tavolo da lavoro. ho riscontrato solo un punto negativo, che però ha influenzato pesantemente il mio soggiorno: a causa del clima freddo dei primi di maggio 2019 la camera era gelida, e non è dotata di un impianto di climatizzazione singolo che permetta di riscaldarla, anche se il termostato è presente. risultato: notti freddissime.

Abbiamo soggiornato 2 notti al Palace Inn e non ci è mancato nulla. La distanza (relativissima) dal centro e dal Castello non si soffre, grazie anche al parco bici (migliorabile) a noleggio gratuito. Con la ciclabile, essa diventa anzi, la piacevole occasione di fare un po’ di moto alla portata di tutti. Completa e varia la colazione, ottimo il riposo, gentilissimo e molto disponibile lo staff. Se c’e un (piccolo) appunto da fare riguarda l’assenza di un calzascarpe in stanza ed il fatto che, avendo chiesto una stanza non fumatori, ci è stata invece assegnata una stanza senza divieto di fumo, ma comunque assolutamente pulita e inodore. Da consigliare.

L’hotel è collocato appena fuori Ferrara, il cui centro resta comunque comodo da raggiungere. In compenso c’è il parcheggio gratis, tranquillità (le arterie stradali non sono in stretta prossimità) e l’hotel offre una colazione fantastica a 4€/persona (macchina Nespresso professionale per caffè, estrattore per frutta e verdura, ampianscelta di cereali & C.). L’allestimento delle camere è stile “business” con materiali moderni e in ottimo stato. Prezzo concorrenziale.

Hôtel à coté d'un centre commercial (Lidl), d'un restaurant à viande Roadhouse et de diverses usines, nécessitant un véhicule.
Nous avions pris une chambre double confort. Belle dimension, toutefois peu d'armoires avec une seule petite penderie et quelques étagères.(rien n'est fermé).
Bon petit-déjeuner buffet complet pour 4€ par personne et par jour. Excellent café avec choix de pâtisserie et viennoiserie mais un peu limité en pain.
