The suites are located below the walking path which makes it quieter and less busy. Probably the best view in the caldera area! The staff was amazing! Knowledgeable, friendly and always ready to help. We had an amazing stay! Our suite was beautiful, peaceful and had a spectacular view. We had an amazing time!

We can’t wait to someday return to Astra suites. This property is so spectacular and the staff was so professional and friendly. We never wanted to leave our room with its infinity pool. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and wonderfully designed the room service food was absolutely the best that we had in all of Greece. We ate every meal in our room and we’re never disappointed. We couldn’t recommend Astra suites more highly.

Excellent staff and property. That kid that brings the suitcases from the drop off to the hotel and back needs a raise! The hotel, GM, and staff are very kind and professional. The only downside is that there should be snacks / food allowed at the pool. Also, I realize the property needs to be cleaned daily. However, it was inconvenient to have this done while we were eating our breakfast outside at our table. Couldn’t this be timed a little later in the morning? Thank you Astra!

The stay at Astra Suites was spectacular. The hotel is in the perfect position to see the Santorini Caldera, and watch beautiful sunsets every day from your balcony. The daily breakfasts were fantastic: healthy and delicious. Walking to the hotel and taking the stairs are part of the experience of this scenic area. It would be extremely difficult (maybe impossible) for someone in a wheelchair, but even though my husband and I are in our seventies, and have bad knees, we took the challenge of this location, got the best walking shoes we could find, and just took our time in walking from the hotel to the Village, and later from the hotel to Fira along the Cliff Walk. It was completely worth it. They are the most stunning views I have ever seen from a hotel patio. I wish I were there now.

We just left the Astra Suites and we didn’t want to leave. The view is unbelievable and the staff are so attentive and friendly. We had such a delicious dinner at Five Senses Restaurant, that we brought our friends there the next night. I had an amazing massage by Nicholas at the spa. The whole experience could not have been better!! Thank you so much to everyone at Astra Suites for such an unforgettable experience!!

Everything in the hotel was great - the staff was so kind and attentive, and the complimentary breakfast menu was various and tasted great! However, we did not like that our terrace area was quite separated from our room so some of the visitors mistook it as a public area - and this is just a personal preference for the design of the room. The room was very neat and well organized but there was not much sun inside, so I could tell little humid and shaded all day inside. The public parking area was very limited and not very convenient.

Phenomenal stay. My husband and I stayed in the honeymoon suite and we could not have better words about this hotel. Staff was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond for us. They saw that every detail was met with high expectations and that we were taken care of. Although we went during a time where the weather was not ideal, this is where the honeymoon suite was the best choice for us. The indoor pool was the BEST decision we made when booking because of how rainy/chilly it got during our stay. The stay is pricy but we felt we got our values worth- view was breathtaking and felt like a dream. Manager also very kind- sent us a welcome gift and prosecco. Highly recommend. It will be difficult to stay anywhere else should we find ourselves in Santorini again.

Word of caution- I don't recommend this stay if you may have mobility issues. There are many steep steps involved in getting around the cliffs. Thankfully the porters met us up at the parking area to grab our luggage- otherwise that would've been pretty tough.

I liked that the room I stayed in was clean and spacious. I didn't like how pricey the room was given that there was nothing other than \"free\" breakfast being offered. Breakfast was not what my family and I expected; the portions were quite small. During our stay, the weather was a bit chilly and I really wanted to swim in the pool but it was not heated.

Our stay at Astra Suites was absolutely incredible! We felt like celebrities! The minute you arrive, they take care of you between taking your bags, giving you lemonade, and providing top service. They knew who we were before we even arrived and throughout out stay, they knew exactly who we were when we went to reception. The breakfast options were incredible, we loved both types of pancakes the most! They were able to make us reservations at the hotel restaurant, Appagio, and To Kokkalo with no issue. They were all so tasty! The pool was fantastic and the bartender was so friendly and made the best drinks! The room was also top notch, especially with the view! We are already planning our next trip back! Thank you Astra Suites for a great unforgettable stay in Santorini.

We loved our stay at Astra suites. The staff were all very kind and helpful. The view was also magnificent, loved it so much. The room was spacious, and the breakfast options were great. Our only small gripe is it's not as private as we hoped, as there was a walkway nearby and the restaurant was above us. So there was a fair bit of foot traffic and noise around us, and folks could easily see onto our balcony. Take that into consideration if you're thinking of booking.

From start to finish our stay at this hotel was perfect! We were on our honeymoon and the staff treated us like royalty. We splurged and got a honeymoon suite with the indoor pool and it was the best room we’ve ever stayed in. I’ve stayed at the Four Seasons resorts before and they don’t even compare. We stayed in 4 hotels while in Greece and this hotel had a bed that was so comfortable I wanted to own it.

Astra suites was PERFECT!! From the minute we arrived the service was astounding, our room/suite was clean and spacious and the views are UNREAL! We ate complimentary breakfast on our balcony every morning which was one of the highlights of our trip, Nicholas the bartender was AWESOME, food was delicious, and the whole team is able to help with everything!! Great location, close enough to everything without feeling “touristy”. Cannot say enough good things about Astra Suites- book it for your next trip to Santorini, you will not regret it!!!

The initial room the hotel checked us into was not a room a 5 star hotel should posess. It was small, right infront of a loud pool area, not soundproof in any way. The internet modem was on the nightsyand next to the bed buzzing away. Seemed lile we were in a cheap motel room.

When we asked to be moved to a more suitable room, we were told the hotel was fully booked and we had the option of upgrading to a pool suite (extra 1000 euros for 2 nights) or spening one of our 2 night stay in one room, and the other one in another room (on top of this inconvenience, we had to pay 400 euro for the upgrade).

Nice hotel but only if you stay in the higher end rooms. Very good breakfast and a great view.

Fantastic Hotel in Santorini

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon. We could not have asked for a better location or hotel! The staff were the friendliest hotel staff we've ever seen. They made themselves available to us for anything and everything we could've needed. At one point, when a ATV rental we'd booked fell through I asked them for recommendations for another rental place on the island and turns out they work with a company who had a rental for us, just outside the hotel, 20 minutes later and was a better price than what we'd had before! The honeymoon suite we were in was spacious, with probably 15 foot ceilings. The view off the balcony was as breathtaking on our last day as it was on the first! If you're looking for a hotel in Santorini look no further than Astra Suites!

The best place on earth

The view was absolutely stunning. Breathtaking and secluded enough that you don’t have all of the crowds like in OIa to watch a perfect sunset every night. The staff really go out of there way to make sure everything is perfect and are very accommodating. They recommended a tour of the island when we first got there which allowed us to decide what we wanted to do the next couple of days. The view was so good that we did not want to leave, the breakfasr was amazing. By far the best orange juice I have ever had. You get what you pay for and it’s hard to beat this room with a pool and a hot tub and a sauna. Good location to some restaurants and just very peaceful. An excellent place to stay

There isn’t a high enough rating for Astra Suites. We didn’t want to leave. The Manager George is absolutely amazing. He knows you and your schedule better than you do. He is a great communicator and is so soft spoken that it just relaxes you on the spot. The staff and restaurant waiters we also amazing. I saw the waiters run to carry a guest down the steps after seeing that he was injured and having a difficult time. Amazing service and amazing place to step. Loved loved loved it!!!!!!

A jewel of a hotel!

We could not recommend this place more highly! The hotel is beautiful with the most stunning views. Our room was beautiful and a haven from the hot sun. Comfy beds, fabulous bathroom and wonderful views. The staff are all very attentive and polite and looked after us so well. We felt like royalty! Dora is charming and George the owner greeted us as well. During our stay the hotel sent us some delicious Vinsanto. Our balcony breakfasts were a highlight too - so delicious and served with a smile from the lovely waiters.

This hotel knows how to treat customers! Before we even arrived they made sure to have porters ready for our luggage to carry down the steps. The staff at Astra are incredibly friendly and helpful. The location offers stunning views of the Caldera as well as unobstructed views of the sunset! We had an amazing time and will definitely book again!
