Property was located in a great spot close to the train station and places to eat and shop. Rooms were tiny but functional, if you don’t mind living out of your suitcase since there is very limited room to hang only 5 items or so total and no dresser. Biggest issue is we had multiple things disappear from our room, that they could never find any of them and the $100 they did locate after we checked out they refused to return unless we came all the way back to Japan to claim it. Wouldn’t put a credit back to our room instead. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. Plenty of other hotels in the vicinity to stay at instead.

Nice to find an array of essentials easily available in the open as well as comfy pj's on a shelf by the elevators.
Breakfast was provided as a buffet you paid extra for. We did not do this. But the nearby grocery store was amazing with food you could eat at the store or take away.
We were surprised that most stores closed fairly early in the evening , as well as many restaurants. So eat early!!
The train station was right across the square, as well as a handy 7-11, McDonalds and many good stores,including a mini-Walmart style store practically next door where you could buy cosmetics, groceries (limited), drug store items, various souvenir type purchases.

Amazing staff, location, efficiently designed room. The bed and pillow combo was perfect for great sleep and relaxation after 20,000 steps a day.

Also we are in kyoto the next couple of days and will be returning here for our last night in Japan: they kept our big luggage for us in storage!

Really amazing stay! We didnt try the restaurant, but it was packed for every meal period: it must be good!

Stayed for a week long business trip. Location is great, right across the street from the Takadanobaba station. Compared to an APA, the rooms are slightly bigger and have a more modern design. Breakfast buffet was great and had a lot of options, definitely recommend.

Only bad side, washroom has a slight pipe smell typical of some Japanese budget hotels. The shower head was also a little bit dirty.

The location was excellent, very close to the subway station. Good blackout curtains for blocking light and minimal sound that could be heard from the outside streets. The staff and amenities were good as well. The one thing is that the room bed frame was a bit dusty, which could be cleaned a bit better.

This was an ideal hotel for first time travelers to the area. Less than two minutes away from multiple train lines the hotel leaves you with access to everything you need from local food, shopping and of course konbini! The rooms are large enough for about 3 suitcases and a few bags. The provide great amenities from soaking bath powder, pajamas, and even face masks. After a long day of sight seeing you can rest on the large full size firm mattress and stream your Netflix from the large flat screen.

This hotel was awesome : perfect location (a busy square, but not overwhelming + tons of food options near by) and the train station is right across the street, so getting to bigger cities was SO convenient! Great location very close to Takanobaba station which allowed for us to travel around Tokyo easily. The breakfast buffet was incredible and very convenient. The rooms were small, but we were out and about seeing Tokyo most of the day so it didn’t matter. The bed was comfortable. The overall hotel cleanliness was incredible. There was laundry services in the hotel and a laundromat very close by. Highly recommend staying here.

This hotel is very conveniently located. The staff is lovely and very accommodating. Our room was impeccably clean and rather small, typical for Tokyo. But the way it was laid out, with a sliding door between the sleeping area and the shower/toilet/sink areas (all separate) provided privacy. So the room being small was not a problem. Beds were comfortable, A/C was great. Breakfast (included in our reasonable room rate) was AMAZING. We chose the Japanese selections rather than the western choices, and everything was fabulous - tamago, udon, different types of vegetables, yogurt with toppings, fresh fruit etc. Don't hesitate to book this hotel!

Amazing hotel!! We stayed there 8 nights and then extended 2 more nights for a total of 10 nights. Super convenient area a short minute walk away from the train station. In a nicer quieter area vs Shibuya and Shinjuku, but just a train ride away from them. A Lawsons and 7/11 is super close by, as well as fast food and local restaurants. The staff was super nice and always willing to help. Super clean place. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone!

This was one of the nicest places that I have ever stayed and for the low price of the room its an unbeatable value. The location is perfect its right by the train station and a Don Quixote plus and endless amount of good restaurants. The room was very clean and high tech, the bed was firm but not too firm like alot of the hotels in japan and the pillows were perfect. The hotel offers so many free amenities and the breakfast buffet is next level. If you are staying in shinjuku I cannot think of a better place than this!

This hotel was amazing and in a great central location. And not to mention right across from the train station. Which was a huge help! My favorite part of my stay was the pajamas they offered.

Breakfast is served during a reasonable time and the front door is locked only to guests after hours for ensured safety.

The room maintained a reasonable level of cleanliness, though we were caught off guard by the mandatory housekeeping service every three days. We prefer our personal items remain undisturbed during our stay. The hotel operates with minimal staff presence, relying entirely on self-service kiosks for check-in and check-out procedures. Unfortunately, we won't be returning due to an apparent plumbing issue that caused an unpleasant odor in the bathroom. Additionally, the thermostat proved ineffective at maintaining a comfortable temperature—the room consistently felt too warm during the evening hours. The location is also quite inconvenient, situated far from most tourist attractions and requiring over 30 minutes of subway travel each way.

As someone who formerly lived in Tokyo, it is essential to have the hotel breakfast since it is hard to find breakfast elsewhere. The food is very good and I ate there every morning. The hotel also offer laundry and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

My only complaint is the toilet paper is way too thin. This is not charmin. Beside that you will love your stay.

One of the best locations to stay in Tokyo! Takadanobaba Station is literally across the road which is on the JY Yamanote line the main train line in Tokyo. This makes seeing all areas of Tokyo easier. There is also a 711, Lawson, and Family Mart within 2 minute walk. Sakae Dohri street and tons of amazing food options within 5 minutes. Also next to a Donquijote.

Staff were incredibly nice and helpful for any needs you may have. They helped my luggage forward to my next hotel in Kyoto and any other needs I had.

Breakfast is a buffet with a lot of options.

Rooms were nice and clean, with tons of free amentaties or items you may beed.

Great stay overall. The hotel itself is clean, efficient, and the check-in process is extremely easy, exactly what you’d expect in Japan.

Where this place really shines is the location. If you want a true taste of city life (being out late, surrounded by restaurants, nightlife, and constant energy) this is peak. You can step outside and immediately be in the middle of everything.

Rooms are on the smaller side (typical for Japan), but the bed is surprisingly wide and comfortable, making it perfectly suitable for a trip where you’re mostly out exploring and just need a solid place to recharge.

That said, if you’re looking for a hotel as a destination in itself (spacious, relaxing, and somewhere you plan to spend a lot of time) this probably isn’t the right fit. It’s much better suited for a younger, nightlife-oriented crowd who plans to be out and about.

Overall, great value and ideal for experiencing the city.

Room is clean. I love the option to ask for towels, makeup the room, or not touch the room at all. The room is smaller than the average American hotel, but considerably spacier than a Japanese hotel. Facilities were very clean and new.

Laundry service is randomly busy. On a weekday at 4 am, there were 8 people trying to use the laundry machines. However, a few days later, there was no one using the laundry from 6 am - 2 pm. I appreciate how one of the laundry machines take card, however, keep in mind that will be the most popular machine. Be prepared to use 100 yen coins only to pay for the others.
