For the most part the room had everything needed. The bathroom had been refurbished at some point and was clean well equipped.
The kitchen was old but clean with a very large new fridge which unfortunately didn't have a freezer.
I was booked for 2 nights, however checked out after 1 as the airconditioner in the bedroom was noisy and leaked - dripping all night onto the carpet, even after being turned off, meaning I got very little sleep. The receptionist was friendly and helpful and offered a change of room. I opted however for a refund for the unused night's accomodation which I was provided with no fuss - although the hotel was unable to process the refund as I'd booked through expedia and was required to phone them myself. Reception advised later that the air conditioner had been fixed.

The peoperty has all the basic amenities, although it is dated the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is no housekeeping on Sundays and beds will not be made if something is left on it.
Otherwise the location is convenient and close to the zoo. We were only there to wash and sleep so it ticked those boxes.

We were placed in a room directly facing the Newell Highway. All night we were subjected to the road noise of interstate semi-trailers, trucks , road hoons and sirens. Hardly much sleep.
At check-in asked for wifi connection, was given square code to copy, later that night could not connect wifi as required password. As no phone in room to contact reception waited till following morning. Next morning on toilet found it would not flush, cistern empty. Go to reception to complain, sorry they said had plumber cutting off water. Why were we not advised accordingly, stupid look but no answer. Why were we not given wifi password when checking in when we particularly asked for in, again stupid look but then gave us the password as we were about to leave. Left toilet full and told them ... this was not our usual way of leaving a room. Whole experience totally disgusting and third world level .Give it a miss!!

Our king size bed was a medium firm and comfortable enough, however, one side did like to make a wire popping sound when rolling over. Shower had excellent hot water flow, and was very clean. The air conditioning functioned well, but as with many, the power LED light makes the room less than dark during sleep. TV channels had great reception. Would be nice to have at least one sitting chair in all standards of room. Plenty of robe space.
The small gym room had a functioning and bluetooth connected treadmill, elliptical and cycle; plus a small cable weights machine and a few small kettlebells and dumbells. It was clean, with a functioning air conditioner and the window overlooked the scenic golf course.
Unfortunately, as with many motels of this style, the window side of the room receives a lot of traffic noise from the Newell Highway's constant heavy truck traffic; and without double glazed windows, you hear all of it.
It is easily within walking distance to the fantastic Western Plains Zoo; and if you don't ant to drive anywhere, the golf club restaurant made high quality cantonese and malaysian dishes of very generous servings.

We stayed here just one night and slept very poorly due to the location of hotel. It’s near the start of the 50 km/hr zone which means trucks slowing using compression breaking all night long. Maybe those units further back might be quieter (we were in rm #80). Food in restaurant was simple but fine and nice that we didn’t need to walk or drive anywhere (though bowling club is very close too). We required a 2BR apartment which was a poor layout (1 bedroom off the other bedroom rather than off a lounge area (no lounge area at all) which was odd but every new experience is fun. The room/bathroom was well cleaned.

Does not deserve the words 'Quality' or ' International' in it's name. Very old and tied building. Facilities were hit and miss. Lack of crockery & utensils, No kitchenette space except the bathroom bench. Room not cleaned properly, and the 'international' staff' have zero idea about eco-friendly. Towels left hung were still changed over for new. Very disappointed. Only redeeming feature was that it is less than a kilometre from Dubbo Zoo.

The bed was tilting to the side due to the springs being worn out. When we tried to turn the air con heater on it kept flashing “filter” so I gather no one had cleaned the filter on it (as it is the middle of winter and 8 degrees at the time I was not impressed) and it wouldn’t work at all until that was done so it just flashed all night. The only chair to sit on was broken in two places so you had no choice then to sit on the bad bed or the floor. In the bathroom the door stop on the back of the door dragged on the floor each time you moved the door. Overall not good at all, I will steer clear of this place and I’ll tell friends.

Intrusive road noise from the Highway

This was my second stay here and while it was a spacious room and generally comfortable, although carpet was stained and probably due for replacing and curtains did not fully cover the window, nor are they blackout curtains. it unfortunately was near the highway again, with a lot of road noise. If planning on staying it would be wise to request a room further off the main highway
