The only slight glitch with the room was that there wasn’t a single downlight over the kettle area. If you wanted to boil the kettle at night or early in the morning, all three downlights had to be turned on. Otherwise, very comfortable in a newly renovated room!

The rooms are (very) newly renovated, and quite more elevated than your typical motel. Very clean, great check in experience (arrived very late due to traffic delays, and they were responsive about how to check in). Central location within a couple of minutes drive to the main Dubbo attractions. Would stay there again, and would definitely recommend.

Arrived to find a phone no to call. No one at reception. All lights off.
Called several times and could only leave a message.
No response for more than half an hour.
Left a message to say I was not happy, to cancel my room and refund my money.
2 hours later i received a message to say a room key was left for me. This is now 7:30 pm. I replied that they obviously had not read my messages., left 2 hours prior.

We arrived tired & stressed after I found I had left my phone at Coonabarabran. The receptionist was a joy, she calmed me down and pointed out that we arrived safely, had accommodation and I knew where my phone was and that it was safe for me to pick up on the way home.

I loved that you didn't need to drive to the Artesian pools and the safety of my vehicle was a big priority. The spa resort was amazing. I would defiantly stay again and recommend to my fellow travelers.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Fountain View. Our room was nice and tidy. Our beds were comfortable to sleep in. The facilities were great to use. It was safe and we didnt hear any traffic even though the motel was located on a busy road. The service provided by the staff were excellent, they were helpful and friendly. The staff were nosey and rude on arrival. The room was not clean - nail clippings on the carpet, pubic hair in the shower, sanitary bin not emptied, cockroach under my pillow, pillow was so old the stuffing inside was falling out. Loud neighbours having domestics could be heard for all hours of the night. Air conditioner was dirty and didn't warm room very well. 3 guests but only 2 towels. For this price we expected better than this!

After riding hundreds of km’s in the heat, I booked online when we arrived in town and we went straight to the property and were immediately given the key and showed to the room.

The owners are a lovely couple who look after the place ver well.
We would stay here again anytime without even looking for anywhere else.

It was a great place for an overnight stay. In spite of being on a major road there was no traffic noise. The room was spacious.
