This Motel is a hidden gem! Im kind of a 4/5 star hotel patron. But I had a last minute trip. The staff is so friendly. The rooms are totally redone, hardwood floors and comfortable. I realized after, my back didn't hurt from sleeping on the bed!!! There is also an outdoor pool that looks soo inviting. It's in great spot on 76 in between downtown and the busy part of 76. I will definitely stay there from now on.

The Homestead Motel, though small, is exceptionally well run. The staff person who greeted me was expecting me and easily provided for a room other than the one she had reserved for me. She also gave me easy-to-follow instructions about how to get where I needed to go and avoid traffic delays. The room had sensible, comfortable furnishings--no frills--but did provide a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. I was informed early on that the motel did not provide breakfast-either free or for a charge--but it was easy to find a hearty breakfast nearby. The room was exceptionally clean with plenty of towels and fresh linen. Given the many more posh alternatives in Branson, I would readily stay at this motel again.

Service is great with extremely clean rooms. The lady makes you feel right at home and you don’t have to have room service come in you can leave your towels outside and they’ll change them out. Very respectful decently priced. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and this one is by far my favorite!

Very Clean But..
The room was very comfortable and VERY clean. However, it is quite dated. For the amount of money we paid, we will stay elsewhere in the future; where the rooms are a little more updated, modern, and cozy. The sink looked to be an 80s model. Same with the bathtub. Hot water makes an awful groaning sound like a horror movie. Hot/cold in shower was backwards. I had the water warm enough, soaped my face, suddenly the water was so hot I couldn’t stand it; soap in the eyes, I push the faucet colder, to no avail, all the while burning my arms. Walls/ceilings are VERY thin. Neighbors were not at all quiet. Even walking was loud at midnight, at no fault of the owner, of course. I was very appreciative of the lady that owned the establishment, and the room’s cleanliness. I just think there is more value for the dollar in that area. If Homestead wants to compete, they should really spend some time updating their rooms.

I travel to Branson a few times a year from St Louis to bring our kids to Silver Dollar City, we planned this trip at the last minute. I was very impressed with the room, it was updated and very clean. Ive stayed in several hotels around the area and this has been the cleanest. Even though its located on the begining of the strip, the location was close to blue line so it wasnt a bad drive around the traffic. The Owners were nice as well.

This is a quaint little hotel that is clean and quiet. We had a sofa bed, so there was plenty of room for everyone. The only minus would be is that it’s off the main road, so getting on the road takes some patience.

I'm sure that in the 60's it was a great place but we're not in the 60's anymore. Needs serious updates. Whoever rated this 4.5 on a scale of 4 must be family or friends. TV is the size of a monitor. Floors are old wood laminate. Next time we'll just go to the Hilton for $80 more but it irritates me that people inflate the ratings. I felt deceived. Lesson learned.
