The staff speaks English and is very polite. Rooms are small, but cozy. All the amenities are there. If you don't want your room cleaned, there's a button by the door that lights up outside to notify the staff. Very convenient!

Great service and a beautiful hotel. The staff was extremely helpful when we needed to make a dinner reservation at one of their recommended restaurants in the area. The room was very clean. The breakfast was excellent, we really enjoyed trying all the options. The only downside was that the bed and massage chair were both very firm and not comfortable.

Have been at this hotel 2 previous times and the stays have been in generally quite pleasing.

This time around, there were some issues as it seems that the hotel may have lowered the quality of some of the amenities, in which I felt could be improved. e.g. quality of toilet amenities, no complementary drinking water, and disposable indoor shoes

There might be some issues with other vacationers as it seems to be quite popular with foreign tourists, who may be a little rowdy. This time we were in the same floor with an Indian school trip school trip, and many of the kids were quite rowdy, loud, and knocking on doors quite throughout the night, which was annoying. This is not the fault of the hotel, but just an issue we have faced the last time around.

I wrote to your customer service to ask for direction to your hotel before I went to Osaka. They gave me the wrong direction and caused me walked n took train for another one hour in the cold weather. Such an incompetent customer service you have.

Staff were great and the rooms were normal-sized (Japan-wise). There's free drip coffee sachets at the lobby that you are free to hoard if you want. It was walking distance to a train station. There's a Yoshinoya and several supermarkets across the hotel.

Lobby is at the 2nd floor too if you're staying here. I got lost for a bit coz I can't seem to find the lobby, it was just an elevator.

Rated it as 4 because there were dust accumulating at the ceiling on top of the TV but they didn't seem to clean as thoroughly as other hotels. Stayed here for 6 days and the dust was not cleaned. Also the bed was a bit uncomfortable as it was on the hard side.

Well located hotel - very near Uehonmachi station

Easy to find Hotel - just cross the road from the station and walk about 50m.
Hotel entrance is on 2n floor. Rooms and fittings a bit dated but all clean - would have preferred wooden floor in room to carpet though. Breakfast was a choice from 3 different options - not buffet - however what was supplied was quite adequate. Location near station, airport bus and reasonable shopping centre was a bonus

Love the location of this hotel. Easy access from Kansai international airport and Osaka international airport by limousine bus. It is also very near to Kintetsu Osaka Uehonmachi station.
Choice for breakfast is very limited but good quality.
Only complain is the Wifi is too weak.

The hotel staff is very nice and so helpful.
The hotel is conveniently located a couple of minutes away from the subway station and the airport limousine stop. Also there is a good choice of restaurants and stores all around.
The room is clean and the furniture is efficient (note that we had a small fridge in it).
The main drawback of the hotel is the slowness of the elevators.

Close enough to namba and nipponbashi (1-2 stops) via Kintetsu subway lines. Costs more to go elsewhere cuz you have to use multiple train companies. Had room with massage chair but it only does upper body. Does not have foot massager because that only comes in “ladies” room. Default breakfast with room worth 500 yen is ok but I’d recommend upgrade to 800 yen meal that is more Japanese keiseki style.

Convenient location with everything close by.

The hotel was closer than imagined from the airport shuttle stop. Everything needed was near by, supermarkets, evening snacks and metro lines. It is a biz hotel for the near by area but very comfortable. Highlight was breakfast every morning, it was worth paying a little more for it. Food and coffee were great and staff were very friendly and helpful. I would come back.

Nice hotel far from noise but still convenient

The hotel is two stations or 10 min from Namba, the downtown area. There are a few restaurants and diners near the hotel. Also, there is a Lawson (Japanese convenience store) and Aeon (Japanese supermarket), both open 24/7, within 2 min walk, which makes getting late night snack very convenient. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, speak fluent English too! The room is not too spacious but Japan has too much to offer, I cared was a comfy bed to rest for the night, and this hotel provides just what I need. Room amenities are what you would expect from any other hotels in Japan of the same star-rate: iron board, fabric freshener, full set of toiletries you name it. I enjoy the long table and the little sofa in this room in particular because what you want at the end of the day is a place to pile up your haul and dirty laundry. All in all, if you don't mind the two-station distance, this hotel is amazing for its price.

I'm travelling alone and stay at this hotel for 4 nights. Room very clean with complete amenities + free Wi-Fi. security system is also good as you will need a key card to go up to your guest room floors. great location with subway, department stores, convenience store & restaurant nearby. Close to Kansai Airport Limousine bus stop which is very easy to travelling to & from Kansai Airport. I would recommend and will definitely stay at this hotel again for my next trip to Osaka.

Great place to discover Osaka

Spent four nights here.
Fairly close to several subway and train lines so you're able to base yourself here and easily get to your adventure destinations.
Longish walk but not impossible to get to the main sort of shopping/dining covered mall - this can be easily accessed by subway also (2 stops).
All very good. Neat and tidy.
Two things I personally didn't like, but by no means a deal breaker:
One, the pillows weren't to my liking, very uncomfortable. I did read the day we left that it might be possible to get extra/exchange the pillows. Something like that.
Two the dryer in the coin-op laundry is the type that is inside the washing machine. They never dry properly leaving the clothes damp. But if you're not washing this of course isn't an issue.
I would stay in this hotel again.

Daiwa Roynet is the confidence brand in Japan. We stayed for one night and everything was as expected. This affordable Uehonmachi branch has everything nearby - subway/metro/rail station, convenience stores, drug stores, a 24h Aeon market, a mall, and the Kansai airport transfer bus station within 5 mins of walking. If you are up for it you can even walk to Dotondori, Nipponbashi, and Namba.

The facility itself is clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The bathroom was larger than I expected and there's even a massage chair in the room. The staff was friendly. Overall we were very satisfied with our choice.

We booked a few hotels in this holiday trip, this hotel has the smallest room. But the location is great. It's very near to Subway station, and there are two shopping malls including one supermarket around.

There is one bus (#62) to Osaka Castle downstairs. You can also walk there, which is around 30 mins.

The restaurant in hotel 1st floor is great. The price is very reasonable and the meal is delicious.

The reception is in the 2nd floor and the staffs are helpful. There is limousine bus to Kansai Airport beside the Kintetsu building (5 mins walking to this hotel) If your flight is in late night, you can leave your luggage in the reception and they will return to you when you come back.

We stayed 4 Nights. One of the biggest rooms we got in Japan. Got shops and stations nearby for convenience. But if you rely on JR pass, you still have to walk 15m to the nearest one or you can pay to use nearer metro line. Walk distance from Osaka Castel. A must see place.

Clean and Convenient Hotel

The hotel is strategically located diagonally across the Kintetsu mall which houses the train stations. The latter has JR and non-JR lines as well as subways operating, so it was very convenient for us to move around in Osaka.

Apart from the many shops and restaurants within the mall, there are also convenient stores, shops and restaurants around the hotel.

While the hotel café/restaurant is on the ground floor, the hotel reception is one floor above. So we had to take a lift to that floor to check in first. Checking in and out were very easy and pleasant. They use a good card security system to get to the floors where the rooms are.

We asked for a quiet floor and the male staff at the check in duly obliged. The rooms were not large but big enough for a comfortable stay, and everything else was provided.

Breakfast was a choice of 3 set meals which appeals to us as buffets may become unpleasant, depending on hotel guests. We are pleased with this hotel overall and would readily recommend it.

Comfortable and close to the station!

So this hotel was the third hotel my friend and I stayed at while in Japan. It was very close to the station and had very easy access to a grocery store, convenience store, pharmacy, and shopping.
I gave the staff 4 stars only because they spoke less English than all the other hotels we had stayed at, but with Google translate it was not an issue at all.
The hotel provided great little extras, breakfast, and coffee as well as tea. I highly recommend this hotel if you travel to Osaka.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on 4/15, 4/16/15. Good location - -close to shopping centers, restaurants, super markets & subway stations. From Osaka ITM airport - take #0 limousine bus to Kintestu Uehonmachi terminal. It takes about 30 min and the hotel
is only a few blocks away. It costs about US$6.00 per person one way. The Japanese style breakfast is OK and not much choices. The room is clean, quiet and the size is a bit bigger than some of other Japanese hotels.

I chose Osaka as a base for travelling in Kansai area.
This hotel is very close to Kintetsu train line and another local railroad.
Room condition is very good, new and clean.
I spent 7 days 6 nights there and will definitely go back to the same hotel. SUGOI!

Fantastic value for money. The room was Japanese size which is small by western standards but more than adequate for our needs. what it lacked in size it made up for in comfort. It was superbly clean and tastefully decorated. Traveler needs were thoughtfully considered and met. The reception staff provided excellent customer service. Recommend purchasing the breakfast which was great value for money.

Lovely hotel with all you need for your Osaka stay

Our room was great, although a little small (suitcases in the way scenario) but that is to be expected in Japan. Very clean, easy wifi access, comfy bed and I would definitely recommend getting the Japanese breakfast, which is a steal at 500 yen (just under three pounds...) We were also given lots of useful information with our room key, including a metro map in English which proved very useful.
