Professional and friendly staff, however the hotel is a bit far from most attractions. There is a bus option to dotonbori about 10mins from the hotel and T line close to the hotel, also about 10mins. There were some spots that lacked cleanliness but overall clean.

Nice decent room for family of 3. It's clean. Staff are helpful when we asked for towels, kitchen stuffs and buying laundry liquid. The area is quiet and safe. Walk around 10' to 20' to different train stations.

Stayed here for 6 nights. The area is quiet and around a 10 minute walk to the subway. The staff were very friendly and helped us with luggage forwarding, they had the slip ready for us when we checked out!

Pros:
•The hotel is very clean.
•The staff is kind and helpful.

Cons:
•There doesn’t appear to be on-site parking. I couldn’t find any parking spaces in or around the hotel building, which contradicts the property’s listed amenities. If you’re traveling with a lot of luggage or with babies/toddlers, this can be quite inconvenient. Parking is about five minutes away, and you may need to make multiple trips.
•Cooking pots, utensils, and dishware are not provided in the room by default. You need to request them at the front desk, and availability is limited—so they may not always be available. Additionally, there’s no phone in the room to call the front desk, so you have to go downstairs in person to make the request.
•The kitchenette is very small, and the sink is often occupied by cooking ware. As a result, we had to use the bathroom sink to wash dishes.
•There’s no restaurant in the hotel or nearby, so it’s important to plan ahead for meals.
•Laundry facilities are available, but they only accept cash. Be aware that there are no nearby places to withdraw cash, so bring some in advance if you plan to do laundry.

Excellent hotel for stay in Osaka. Hotel is in a quiet residential area but still 2 train stations are in 15 minutes walking distance. There are 2 family marts nearby for quick snacks. Room was spacious and well maintained. Will definitely book again if I visit Osaka.

Had the best stay here at Hotel Shinpoin. The customer service is amazing. They really go above and beyond to help. We had a lovely lady help us with luggage forwarding service. Easy and simple, all the paperwork etc done within minutes. A very eco friendly hotel, rooms have a sink and cooking area with a working fridge. Dishes and dish cleanser is provided to avoid use of single use plastic. Very clean hotel room, comfortable, bathrooms are spacious and very clean. We staying in a super twin, which had 3 single beds.

Nice apartment style hotel

The hotel room is clean, a bit small (understandably, it is Japan) but still spacious enough to have two luggages fully opened flat. The hotel is a bit far from train stations, but it is situated between a metro station and a JR station. It is more of an apartment style hotel, equipped with an electric stove and you can ask the front desk to book kitchen equipment to use. Complimentary coffee and tea are available at the front desk for you to obtain.

We stayed for 3 nights, the room has balcony but during winter it’s cold getting out of the room, it’s not a close building. It’s a 15-20 min walk to the subway and if you have luggages not very convenient. The room is nice and enough space for a family of 5.

Hotel Shinpoin can fit 5 people ( 1 parents-bed + 2 twin beds + 1 pull-out sofa). Has stove and pots/pans, and microwave. No breakfast. We would stay here again.

We very recently stayed here for 4 nights, the hotel is only a 10 min walk from Momodani station which is very conveniently on the Osaka Loop line into Osaka and also back to KIX. The staff were lovely, the room was quite spacious and although the restaurant was not operational there are plenty of dining options around the station which do some lovely breakfasts and dinners. It was a great base for our sightseeing and we would definitely recommend this hotel as an option to stay around Osaka.

We had loads of space and could really spread out, even as a family of four. The hotel is a little walk from transport but that's not an issue. The neighbourhood is nice and has some restaurants. The staff were polite but not friendly like in most Japanese hotels we visited.

根本廚房沒有設備，冇任何煮食器皿，碟等等
洗衣設備要俾錢，地方比較偏遠，附近冇乜食肆，全酒店得兩個車位都係喺樓梯底，好難泊，否則要自己出外找車位。
兩間房住咗三晚要求遲半小時check out要每間房收1000円

建て付けが悪く脱衣所のドアが閉まりませんでした。
子どもが先に寝ていたのでドライヤーも躊躇してしまいました。
チェックインが遅くなってしまいましたが女性スタッフの対応はとても丁寧で子ども用のアメニティも別で手渡しでくれました！
寝巻きが部屋に置いてなかったので取りに降りるのもだるくて諦めました。
廊下が窓がなくむき出しなのでコインランドリーや部屋出た瞬間から蚊に刺されまくって嫌でした。

元々ベッド2つ、ソファベッド1つの部屋を大人2人、小学生2人で予約していましたが、ベッドを１つ増やしてもらっていて全員快適に眠れました。
特に事前に頼んでなかったので、とても助かりました。
部屋も綺麗でしたし、お風呂は浴室乾燥があり洗濯物もすぐ乾き、ファミリーには大変助かります。
周りの騒音も少なく、周りは高級住宅街でしたので、治安も悪くはなさそうです。
通天閣まではタクシーで1000円程で行けました。
1Fの自販機ではドリンク以外にもカップラーメンやスナックもあり、便利でした。
駐車場は車種によっては停めれるらしいですが要確認です。
スタッフの対応も素晴らしく、ブランケットが足りなく要望したら、大小2枚のブランケットを出してくださり、快適に過ごせました。
リネン類も清潔で、ロビーも爽やかな香りがしました。
今回、ユニバと万博で2泊利用しました。また大阪に行く際にはぜひ利用したいオススメのホテルです。

トイレとバスが別になっているのでゆっくりお風呂に入れて疲れを取ることができました。収納がたくさんあるので連泊するには最適です。

USJと万博へ行くため、大人2人子ども2人の計4人で利用させてもらいました。当日予約でお安く泊まらせてもらいました。部屋は広くはないですが清潔感があり、寝るだけなら十分です。ホテルの駐車場は2台しかないので、近隣のパーキング(夜間料金400円)に停めました。初めてのホテルに子どもたちは大興奮でした。ありがとうございました。
