Location was the one positive. Hotel was outdated. Room wasn't very clean. Wallpaper was peeling of the walls and ceiling. Black spots all over the shower. Pretty sure it was mold. They advertised a buffet breakfast, but it isn't. Instead you choose from 3 really bad meals. We stayed at 4 different hotels while touring around Japan. This is the only one that charged a tourist tax. If i had my time back. We wouldn't have stayed here. Glad we only stayed a few nights and most of it was out touring Osaka and kyoto.

We booked last minute and ended up walking 5 miles to get there, from a different hotel we stayed in one night. We were exhausted and dehydrated and a lovely young woman at the front desk gave us electrolyte candies to help us recover (it was a hot day). We did not originally plan to walk so far. Anyway the staff were all really kind, polite and helpful. We were allowed to check in early for a small fee, which was really nice and very helpful. The hotel is attached to another building and there is an International help center (a lovely lady named Kiyo helped to make us feel welcome and also helped us with our early check in). There are some nice dining options within walking distance, a yummy French bakery called Parigot a few blocks down the road.
If you are sound sensitive bring earplugs, there is a fire station that occasionally can be heard. We are quite but some of the other less considerate people staying at the Hotel were loud and woke us up. Anyway I was happy with our stay overall.

Not a bad stay here! The staff were friendly and the first night we stayed was quiet. The second night there was some people being loud in the hall and made it difficult to sleep. There is also almost no water pressure in the shower if you are using hot water which I didn’t like. The room was a decent size and the beds were comfortable.

Nice but small rooms

The Hotel was nice. Some taxis didn't know where it was from The Tennoji Station, it wasn't very far, only about a $10 cab ride. The breakfast was very nice and it was only about a five minute walk to the nearest subway station. The room was small, but good for the price.

Staff at this hotel was exceptionally rude. International implies some understanding of other cultures. This was the worst hotel I have stayed at in Japan. I have been here 2 years and have never experienced such poor service and poor amenities.

Motorcycle parking (with hassle), so so breakfast

This in a convention center hotel. The only reason we stayed here is because they are one of the few places close to the dontonbori area with motorcycle parking. That said, the management a security guards didn’t waste an opportunity to hassle us about where to park our motorcycles. Plenty of suitable and out of the way spots, but the security guard insisted that we park way over at th bicycle parking area. Rooms were slightly grimy and need updating. Breakfast wasn’t very good at all. The hotel is a 5-10 minute cab ride to dontonbori.

A good value hotel

About 9 mins walk from the airport bus stop at Sherton Hotel next to Kintsu major station. So easy to Nagoya, Kyoto and Nara. The hotel is easy to find and the road is safe. 2 metro stations closed to the train station and 2 stops to Namba.. Check in is smooth and felt welcome. Gifts given on checkin. Hotel room is clean with 2 large twin beds and a twin sofa bed. Room size is large in Japanese standard. The free buffet breadfast is more than adequate and tasteful.
A good choice to stay for family in Osaka. Will book it again for future Osaka holiday.

We stay 2 nights. First impression was little old. I thought I wanna stay more gorgeous. But room is clean(little tiny), we gets a lot of amenities and 2waters in refrigerator. My saticefaction is high.

It is our first time visit Osaka. We r very happy staying at this hotel. First, the hotel location is easy to find. There is a local supermarket (called Fresh) in 2 blocks that we really like to shop for cheap food and gifts. There are 2 subway stations within walking distance (8 mins walk). There are also many Japanese restaurants nearby the hotel. Hotel staff are nice, but English is limited. We received a bagful free stuff when we check in! We got free bottled water and Japanese cookies daily in our room. The room is big and clean. We have 2 double beds and a sofa bed for 4 of us. There are also a fridge n a coffee table. Very handy. I like the big window that can be opened so I can see the outside view. Hotel provides free breakfast. It’s simple but good enough to start our day. There’s free wifi, fast n stable. The only shortcoming about the hotel is that it’s a bit old fashioned. We need to use key for entrance, so we have to leave our room key at the front desk when we go out. There is no air conditioner in the room. It might be hot in the day time, so you need to open the window. Make sure the staff write down the period of your stay on your breakfast coupon, otherwise they will keep your coupons before the breakfast and you will need to ask for another coupon for next day.
Overall, I like this hotel and plan to return next time I visit Osaka.

Very pleased with our stay. Room was standard size, big enough for two people and their luggage to fit and not be cramped. Room clean. Staff very helpful, room came with free breakfast and they also provided a few free little gifts (socks, drink etc). Little bit out of the central area but only 2 subway stops to Bamba which worked well for us. Would stay there again.

Comfort hotel and good for family

The room is clean and has more space which make me feel comfort. I booked for two bed room which the bed is quite big enough for 2 persons (1 adult & 1 child) so it's suitable for family. The hotel location is not too far from airport limousine bus stop (Kintetsu Uehommschi (Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka)) around 700 meters. Overall is good and good choice for family.

Staff were top notched. Very polite and very helpful. There was an array of free gifts which was a pleasant surprise. Rooms were tidy and neat and of good standard bearing in mind the price we paid. The hotel itself is a bit dated and in need of a little tlc. Walkable to Dotonburi, Osaka castle, Tennoji Temple and Korea Town. Close to transport links. All in all an excellent stay and we were please with it.

Can't beat the price since breakfast is included every morning. Initially when we checked in we we're greeted by very friendly staff who gave us small goodies but for the rest of the stay some of the front were not friendly. Over all, good rating...good for basics, sleep and shower and breakfast. Located in a quiet neighborhood, close to the subway (about 10 min walk) and little convenient stores and restaurants around.

I am not sure how this hotel scored an overall score of 4. That's why we chose it but we were immensely diaspoointed and I don't like giving bad reviews, but hopefully this will help other families. I have a family of 4 and the room had two king size single beds. No one slept well for four nights because you couldn't move. The other problem was that it is very old and is one of those places that makes you want to wash all your clothes after you leave. Also, the buffet breakfast...we had it once and didn't bother again. Finally, the closest JR stations are a 20-30 minute walk. Not ideal if you spend all day sight seeing with kids.
I don't know if we just had a bad room. The staff were lovely.

This hotel helps me a lot.

Although their location is not really close to the subway station, but they have 24hrs restaurant and supermarket near them. When I try to order something online. They try their best to contact that online store and also help me to solve my problem that I can't understand any Japanese, and my goods arrived in the correct time. When you check in, they'll give you a gift that you are available to choose.

Great stay. Near station with good access.

Hotel was excellent. Clean rooms, excellent service, many freebies and complementary rental items (ask for the foot massager). Located near a Mos burger and Yoshinoya, and the Hihi town and railway shopping center with lots of restaurants. However, it was a bit of a walk from the train station, so may be difficult for those with lots of luggage. We managed fine with 2 pieces. Nearest station has good access, with two subway lines and the Kintetsu rail lines that go all the way to Nara (where we got in from) and Kobe (where we left for).

Hotel is at least 10 min walk from nearest subway/train station, 18 min from nearest JR station if you get a JR pass. Not too convenient and quite tucked away in a residential neighborhood with not much around. No laundry room, had to go to a nearby coin-op. At the staff were attentive, and spoke broken English, and Mandarin.

Reasonable hotel, not too far from JR train statio

Bit difficult to find initially - taxi drivers didn't know where it was from Osaka station (had somebody fluent in Japanese with me so wasn't a language issue) apart from that hotel staff were nice, gave all these free drinks etc on arrival. Rooms are relatively large from a Japanese perspective. Bathroom was fine, but toilet was a little dirty/worn.

Good budget stay in a convenient location

Staff were friendly and well-versed in English.
Rooms were standard size for business hotel, so don't expect too much.
Bed linen was a little old, and pillows were not comfortable. They do offer free special pillow rentals though.
Morning meals were nice, but lacking in variety. (Although they did have special new year dishes, which was nice)
Also, they gave souvenirs and drinks upon check-in!

A bit run down, but okay for the price.

This is a teaching hotel so the (young) staff all speak some English, and they try hard to be helpful. Our room was badly in need of renovation- the chairs were very stained as was the carpet, the grout in the bathroom was very mottled with mildew (even though it didn't smell mildewy), one outlet was coming out of the wall, etc. Having said that it was bigger than most Japanese hotels at this price, the bed was comfortable for me, and the location is reasonably convenient. A breakfast buffet is included in the room price; there aren't a lot of standard western items but you can get by- I'm used to the Japanese style breakfast so I enjoyed it.

The staff was incredibly friendly and it's about a 5 minute walk from the subway station. Unfortunately, the rooms are very small for its price (at least for what I'm used to). No closet (just a couple of hangers on a hook in the wall), just barely any walkable space in the room, which the bed, luggage, and a chair will already take up pretty much all of it. The window can be opened that leads to a balcony which you can just walk into another person's room. This place is just fine for one or maybe two people with very little luggage or if you are just looking for a place to sleep.

The hotel is located a little bit far from the subway around 10 minutes walk, but the price is cheap compared to other hotels in osaka so we opted to book this hotel.It also comes with free breakfast except that the food is the same everyday. Simple room for short stay

Staff: Staff were mostly friendly except for one guy who seemed a little hostile when we headed out of the hotel with the key on our second day. We took our key with us for the entire first day. We weren't informed that we have to leave the key at the concierge. He gave us a look that made us seemed like criminals.

Amenities: Pre-selected at the reception desk and I like that they gave options for masks and drinks.

Room: Size was a little small but we have stayed at even smaller ones so I think this is fine. Room is clean but they forgot to top up the sanitary bag after the first day - not picky about that though.

Breakfast: Simple with a few items to choose from. We stayed for a week but didn't have breakfast there everyday as you may get sick of the food since there are only a few options. You have to show the people in the cafe your breakfast coupon daily as it states the period of stay. However, on our second last day there they took away our coupon so we were wondering if there is no breakfast provided on our check-out day. After moving to another hotel we realise that this is not the case. Breakfast is supposed to be provided on the check-out day too so this is quite disappointing.

Overall it's a simple room for a short stay and nothing fancy. The biggest advantage would be that location is quite centralise and also the hotel have lots of maps for guests. Even hand drawn maps that let you know what are some of the eating places they have around hotel.

Very clean and spacious rooms 27 sqm. Although its an older hotel and its more of a 80s vibe, its so clean, spacious and close to dotonbori.
Staff were friendly.
There were free amenities too. There is a washer & dryer on the 4th floor which was easy to use.
And a kitchen with microwave to use for guests.

All in all really good!

ホテルの前に24時間1500円の駐車場がありました。大阪市営の駐車場に止めたのですが、少し歩かなければいけないので失敗ですた。次からはホテルの前の駐車場を利用します。

フロントのスタンプさんの対応は感じが良かったし、事前の問い合わせにも丁寧に答えてくれました。
暑い日だったからかエアコンの効きがあまり良くなくて、とりあえず１番強くして過ごしました。

清掃はちゃんとされていると思いますが、建物が古いのか天井のクロスの傷みが気になりました。

大手のビジホと比べてしまうと快適さには欠けますが、
部屋数が少なめなのかエレベーターが混むこともないし
土曜日宿泊にしては料金が良心的だと思いました。

建物はかなり古いです。寝るだけなら良いですが、部屋でくつろぎたいのなら考えたほうがいいです。HOTEL宛に荷物を送っておいたのですが通常部屋に入れておいてくれますがフロントに置きっぱなしでした。
近くに保育園や学校があるので治安はいいです。

古さは感じました。
たまに冷蔵庫なのか空調なのか、うるさい音がする時がありました。
スタッフの方はみんなとても感じが良かったです。

仕事で宿泊しました。シングルルームですが一般的なホテルよりも広いです。ベットは硬め、枕は普通、シャワーの水量も強め、空調設備がイマイチ、窓は大きく部屋によっては半分ほど開放可能、部屋のクラスは汚れているところもありますが気にならず。朝食は3タイプ(サンドウィッチ系)から選択可能でコーヒー、フルーツ系のジュースなどセルフサービス。近隣のホテルよりもリーズナブルな価格帯で寝るだけなら最高の条件かと思います。また宿泊したいホテルですね！　上本町近辺で宿泊先を検討される方にはオススメです！ありがとうございました！

サオリ

加湿空気清浄器を予約時に事前リクエストしており、返信にて承知しました、との回答をもらっていたのに、部屋には設置されていなかった。そのため、フロントにてその旨を伝えると、そもそも清浄器の取扱はなく加湿器であればあるとの回答で、事前回答への謝罪は一切なし。案の定、懸念していたハウスダストの症状が出てしまった。

チェックイン時に、チェックアウト日の朝7:45にタクシーを呼んでおいて欲しいとお願いしていたのにも関わらず呼ばれておらず、チェックアウト時に呼ぶ始末。予定が崩れた。

部屋の壁にかけてある絵は傾いていた。とことん適当なホテルだと感じた。決して快適な滞在とは言えないものだった。
