It was also very convenient that the hotel elevator connected directly to the shopping center. By taking the escalator, I could easily reach Uniqlo, MUJI, and Starbucks without going outside, which was especially convenient.

Super convenient! The train station is on the lobby of the hotel. Awesome toiletries. You need to get the body loofah total life changer. Their breakfast buffet has a lot of option to chose from. Lastly the toilets are like no other specially in the US. Warm toilets seats are a game changer.

Great location, but The biggest issue we had was that the rooms are not insulated. The train noise went late and began very early. They could better insulate windows and room better. The rooms were a bit small and hard to maneuver. The bed was a bit uncomfortable. A slight bit more softness would have been nicer for the bed. However the bathroom and shower were nice. Hairdryer was also nice. Refrigerator was small but nice to have. internet speed was perfect for online meetings. Hotel Staff were very helpful and ready to serve or assist in whatever way they could.

This hotel was located at the Kyobashi station so it was extremely convenient to get around anywhere in Osaka. The staff was amazing, my Japanese was very limited but they were able to understand me, the check-in process was smooth. The room was clean and the view from the 15th floor was amazing! There is nothing bad to say about the hotel itself. The only minor issue was that the elevators were very busy and it was difficult to get on and off one depending on the time of the day, but that is not the hotel's fault. Overall, amazing place to stay, walkable distance to Osaka Castle.

Kyoto Inn was okay, did not realize they has two different sections of the hotel. Beds in older part of hotel were not comfortable.

Osaka would have gotten a better review had we not experienced a rodent problem on day one and two. The massive rodent tore into several of our belongings looking for food. We had been bringing food in all of our other hotels and did not have one problem.

This hotel is conveniently located above a busy train station,and we found that easy to get around. The Osaka Loop line is a very busy train line though, so navigating that with luggage was a struggle. However, this hotel suited us really well - with a 4 bed room, and the toilet and shower room were separate (important for families!). The beds were the most comfortable beds on our Japan trip, and the views from the room were great!

The room we chose for this part of our stay was huge in relation to normal Japanese hotel rooms. We were able to comfortably lay out our 4 suitcases to help pack our purchases for our journey home. This room even had a sitting area where you could relax. (Actually, this review is for the latter part of our stay, not for this part when we had a smaller room). The staff is friendly, professional and polite. They have amenities (toothbrush, washcloth, face lotions, etc. in the lobby to help yourself.) Convenient train access too!

This is my second time staying at the Keihan Kyobashi Grand Hotel, and for this trip we booked 2 nights before heading to Tokyo, and then 3 nights after returning from Tokyo. The first 2 nights we were in a very small room (this review) because the larger ones were not available. The small room is okay (if you're used to Japanese small hotel rooms,) if you haven't done much shopping yet. The last 3 nights were much more comfortable due to the spacious room we chose. Regardless of the room size, the staff is very professional, friendly, and helpful. The location can't be beat due to the proximity (within the major train station for JR and the Keihan lines) for easy access to anywhere. There is a mall connected to the hotel and lots of convenience stores and restaurants close by as well. Will definitely stay here again!

The hotel is extremely convenient in terms of transport and dining options. Rooms are clean and nice and clean daily. The only thing is for the twin bedroom that I am staying, the space is bit cramp. However, for the cost, location and proximity to other places in Osaka, it is definitely a super choice for travelers.

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Keihan Kyobashi Grande. First off, the location is amazing! Very close to the JR station, the metro station, and the Keihan station. It is also connected to a mall as well as surrounded by other malls and streets with loads of food options. It is also very safe since you cannot go to floors above floor 7 without your hotel room's keycard. The staff are also very friendly and nice and very helpful. The rooms were clean and very comfortable to stay in and there really isn't anything I can think of to complain about. Had a great time staying here and would stay again in the future!

Convenient to 2 train stations -literally can exit the hotel and walk under covered roof to train. Elevator is connected to a nice mall.
The rooms seem on par for Japanese hotels, a bit small for 6’3” Folks but comfortable beds. The price was awesome in June!
The staff really were attentive. The breakfast was great with lots of Asian items for breakfast.

Was given a tiny room with little space for luggage even though our reservation was for a slightly larger room. When inquired about it, the front desk staff barely spoke English to probably explain the situation, offer an option, or adjust our room rate. Carpets in the room and in the hallway were heavily stained. The only bright spot was the location. The hotel was right across from the train station and surrounded by restaurants, pubs, stores and malls. Very convenient.

We were pleasantly surprised to have this hotel not just close to the Kyobashi Station, but actually attached. Very convenient! The surrounding area was ever so slightly sketchy at night, but I never felt unsafe necessarily. The staff was friendly-ish, and helpful for the most part. The hotel was clean, the rooms were nice and bathroom was amble with nice amenities included.

I liked that the hotel has easy access to both the Osaka Metro and the JR line. It's built on top of a mall so there's shopping and dining right at your doorstep. The staff are generally friendly. It is, however, obviously rundown as I noticed damage to the walls in my room.

It was a great location. The JR & Keihan rail lines were steps from the hotel. Easy to travel from the hotel.
A nice mall with good stores, food department and restaurants were below the hotel. There were convenience stores close by as well as a supermarket. There was a selection of places to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner so there were many choices and no need to go far.
I would recommend this hotel. It had access to everything. Room was clean and well serviced.

Simple room right next to the Kyobashi station. Don't follow Google Maps after you get out of the station ad it takes you around the block unnecessarily. Just go across the way to the Keihan station and the entrance to the hotel is on the right. Great ramen shop nearby and beef bowl with egg and miso soup for breakfast for only 240 yen! Great to get you started each day so you still have room to eat at all the other eating plces. Would definitely stay here again. Not far from Osaka station or Tennoji station as both are main stations that you can go anywhere from.

Rundown hotel that looks good at the website. Room is super tight with 4beds, with no enough space for us to move around. If we're not going to get charge for one night, we'll move out right away. This is not a hotel feel but it looks like Motel to my own experience. Staff is not bilingual and need to use Google translation which is not reliable as well.
We always travel and this is the worst hotel that I've stayed in. The best part about this place is shopping, dining and train are all nxt door. But the cleanliness is zero ⭐ and need to big time remodel. Will never book this hotel again, even you pay me to stay here.

My stay at Hotel Keihan Kyobashi Grande was excellent. Being so close to Kyobashi Station made it so easy. The staff were friendly and the check-in check-out procedure was seamless and easy. The rooms were a good size compared to the super small Japanese hotel rooms I have experienced. Even the bathroom was a decent size. The bed was comfortable without being too firm and the pillows were good. The breakfast was the usual hotel fare that catered for all tastes. I really couldn't fault the Hotel at all. Excellent stay.

The hotel was very close to the subway station, so that was convenient. However, there was no room service aka no room cleaning (except on the 3rd day of your stay, which was pretty inconvenient). In tokyo, I paid around the same amount per night and there was daily room service. The washroom was very small, but manageable. As for cleanliness (right as we first stepped into the room) I would rate it 3.5/5.

One thing I liked was that they had Amazing Osaka pass which you can ask at the counter. As for the dinner buffet, it was overpriced and mediocre dishes. The manager gave short of my change ($50 CAD short), which I had to explain. Took awhile since there was a language barrier, but he checked and gave me the right change in the end. Overall, services weren't too bad. Would I use the same hotel again? Prob not.

Good price for a convenient location. Tiny room but it did the job. We had 2 nights in Osaka and were busy rushing around all over the place and the room was perfectly fine for what we needed. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel. The hotel is in the train station and above the mall so there were plenty of cheap food options available nearby. We came from Hiroshima on the Shinkansen, arrived at Shin Osaka and then it is a couple of train stops to the hotel.
