Average hotel with big room

Arrived late and leave early next morning. Nice big room with nice bed and good view in highrise. Although the building seems to be old, but the room is clean. I'm satisfied with the stay and hope to have time to explore the neighborhood area next time.

Great Hotel in City Centre

We love staying here! I am travelling with 3 small children. The hotel was extremely accommodating and able to upgrade is to a suite. So everyone had a good night sleep after the flight and car journey!
Situated in the City Centre there is easy access to the shops, Public transport and the pool next door!

A good Inn

It's a nice Hotel in a wonderful landscape. But first you have to drive in a parking lot. If you take by accident a wrong lane, the parking garage is like a maze. Especially when you have your luggage with.
The rooms are nice, except we couldn't find the temperature control of the ac.
The worst thing was that the Lady at the desk offered to get the room and breakfast, but never mentioned the price for that. I assumed it would be approximately the same as it is in other Hotels in the area. I didn't asked for, my mistake. Next morning I paid the bill and have been shocked. $ 15 for one breakfast. Boa, we had not golden dishes, no Champagner, just a buffet breakfast. I was full for the rest of the day.

Great Hotel

This was one of the last places I stayed on a four week vacation. It was probably the nicest of all the places I stayed. I was quite impressed. The staff was helpful and friendly as well.

Checkin- Mitarbeiterin unfreundlich, unpersönlich, kein Wort des Willkommens, keine Erklärungen z. B. dass zum Frühstücksrestaurant ein extra Fahrstuhl zu benutzen ist I trotz wenig Gästen, Frühstück nur zu drei festgelegten Zeiten von 90 Minuten, Entscheidung dazu ist beim Checkin notwendig I im Frühstücksraum, direkt am Eingang ein Tisch mit Bettel- Trinkgeld- Sparbüchse Kuh, dazu schriftl. Erklärung, dass sich die Kuh über eine Spende freut I einige Gäste erhielten vom Frühstückspersonal zubereitete Spiegeleier, doch es gab keinen Verweis, mündlich oder schriftlich, dass diese Bestellmöglichkeit besteht I bis zur Mittagszeit kein Housekeeping im Zimmer gewesen, deswegen Nachfrage an der Rezeption, darauf Zusage der Rezeptionistin, dass Housekeeping noch kommen wird, doch als wir abends zurück kamen, war nichts im Zimmer gemacht, wir beschwerten uns bei derselben Rezeptionistin, diese hatte kein Wort der Entschuldigung, wir bekamen von ihr auf Nachfrage nur einige völlig alte, dünne Handtücher, auch beim Auschecken, am nächsten Tag, kein Wort der Entschuldigung vom Rezeptionisten I ein Fenster im Zimmer ist kippbar, doch es reichte schon ein kleiner Luftzug oder eine Bewegung im Zimmer, damit das Fenster laut zufiel I Seifenspender in der Dusche war beim Checkin nur zu 15 % befüllt, blieb dies die ganze Zeit auch I Zimmer ohne Safe, Kaffeemaschine und Wasserkocher I das Hotel wirbt mit kompletten Vier Sterne Service, doch geboten wird bestenfalls Jugendherbergsniveau

Wir waren für 2 Nächte im City Hotel am CCS für den Rennsteiglauf. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Das Personal war sehr freundlich an der Rezeption, sowie zum Frühstück und Abendessen. Das Frühstücksbuffet und Abendbuffet war top mit einer grandiosen Aussicht über Suhl. Das Hotel war überall sehr sauber. Etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Bad, was eine Renovierung vertragen würde;-). Getränkeservice ohne Gebühr top 👍. Vielen Dank dafür. Auch für schöne Ausflüge zum wandern oder Rad fahren wäre das Hotel ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt. Wir würden es wieder buchen.

Das Haus ist perfekt, wenn man ins CCS oder ins Bad möchte. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Der Frühstüchsraum/ das Restaurant hat einen wunderschönen Blick von oben auf Suhl. Wir haben nur gefrühstückt, waren aber von der Sauberkeit und dem Essenangebot sehr zufrieden. Angenehm ist die Frühstückszeit bis 11:00 Uhr und die Auscheckzeit bis 12:00 Uhr. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Die Bilder suggerieren, dies sei ein Hotel mit eigenem Innenpool und Wellness. Das entspricht nicht der Realität. Im Nebengebäude ist das städtische Schwimmbad, für das man eine Eintrittskarte kaufen kann. Die Beschreibung des Hotels ist irreführend.

eigentlich gutes hotel, tolles fruehstueck mit tollem ausblick im 16. stock.
bei 34 grad aussentemperatur war die klimaanlage defekt. hatte aber genau wegen einer klimaanlage das hotel gebucht. beim check in um 22.00 keine info darueber, geflissentlich uebergangen. im zimmer war es super warm. anruf an der rezeption, da hiess es, die klimaanlage wird gerade neu gestartet. war echt keine gute nacht. am morgen hiess es, dass heute die handwerker schon da waeren und das ersatzteil, welches seit donnerstag nicht da war, mit dabei haetten. bis mittag waere alles wieder repariert... toll, wenn man sich drauf verlaesst. ...und dann doch nix geht. auch die naechste nacht war sehr warm und von erholung keine spur. nirgends eine info, kein \"entschuldigung\" - nix.
schade, hat das eigentlich schoene wochenende echt kaputt gemacht. :-(

Ihre Buchungssystematik ist uns fremd. Keine Rückzahlung bei rechtzeitiger Stornierung! Sie werben mit Schwimmbad. In gehobenen Häusern bedeutet das, ab 7.00 Uhr kostenlos kurz schwimmen zu gehen- vor dem Frühstück! Bei ihnen ab 10.00 Uhr gegen Gebühr! Die Zimmer sind Spitze, das Personal sehr freundlich.
Weiter empfehlen werde ich unterlassen.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr gut. Freundlicher Empfang. Sogar 2 Stunden eher als geplant. Zimmer gut. Gaststätte im 16.Stockwerk sehr gutes Angebot, auch zum Frühstück. Parken z.Z. etwas eingeschränkt wegen Bauarbeiten.

Tolles Hotel im Thüringer Wald

Trotz kleinerer Corona bedingten Einschränkungen können wir das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Allein schon das Frühstück im 16.Stock ist Gold wert, auch wenn es gerade nicht das leckere Buffet gibt. Es gibt genügend Parkplätze und man hat ein live adventure Spiel gewonnen, erst such das Hotel, danach such dein Auto. Sicherheitshalber erst einmal für das Gepäck vorfahren. Schwimmbad nebenan ist super, besser als jedes Hotelbecken! 👍😀

Gutes Hotel,günstig gelegen,ordentliche Preise!

Wir waren am Wochenende in Suhl unterwegs und stoppten im CCS.Nach einem problemlosen Check-Inn ging es auf das Zimmer,welches sauber und sehr geräumig war,das Badezimmer ließ ebenfalls keine Wünsche offen,sodass Wir anschließend einen kleinen Stadtbummel unternahmen.Am Abend ging es dann kurz an die Bar um im Anschluss noch im Haus zu Speisen.Auch hier gab es Nicht‘s zu beanstanden,Essen war gut und hat Uns gemundet und auch die Getränkepreise waren Top!Noch kurz zum Frühstück,gut,ordentliches Brot und Brötchen Angebot,im Ganzen zu empfehlen!Wir kommen beim nächsten Besuch bestimmt wieder.

Das Hotel hat eine gute und zentrale Lage unmittelbar neben den Museen und der schönen Altstadt.
Wir sind freundlich empfangen worden, die Zimmer sind geräumig und sauber, Gratisgetränke gab es auf der Etage und das Frühstück mit Aussicht in der 16. Etage war auch gut. Preis und Leistung stimmen.

Good hotel in Suhl

We went there by motorcycle. We could park in frint of the hotel. The beds were really comfy. The rooms very clean. The personnel were kind and friendly. There is supermarket 200m from the hotel.
Restaurants and bars within 300m.
There is a good bar at the hotel. Breakfast very good.
We stayed three days riding motorcycle in the mountains. Very very good curvy roads.
I highly recommend the hotel.

Das Hotel ist familienfreundlich und modern ausgestattet. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Der Ausblick über Suhl während des Frühstücks in der obersten Etage setzt dem ganzen die Krone auf. Das Personal war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

mürrischer Empfang, erstmal musste ich überhaupt warten, dass jemand mich einchecken lies. Im Restaurant wird man angemeckert, dass wenn man nicht reservierte hätte, man eben wahrscheinlich lange warten müsse. Gast scheint eher zu stören. Strassenlärm im Zimmer trotz 9.Etage und geschlossenem Fenster. Keine Minibar vorhanden

Unfähiges Management bei hoher Auslastung

das Restaurant war geschlossen mit der Begründung, dass das Hotel ausgebucht sei. Deshalb auch kein Frühstück möglich, nur für Gäste einer Veranstaltung (Schützenclub). Minbar gibt es auch nicht. In der Dusche nur gerade leicht lauwarmes Wasser, ebenfalls mit der Begründung, dass das Hotel voll sei. Unfreundlicher Empfang, dazu keine Entschuldigung beim Check-out. Die DDR ist hier noch voll vorhanden. Nie und nimmer 4 Sterne, für drei Sterne in dieser Gegend zu teuer.

Komfortabel und zentral

Wir waren zum Besuch des Reinhard Mey Konzertes in Suhl und haben es sehr genossen, vom Hotelzimmer aus direkt in das CCS gehen zu knnen, ohne einen Mantel oder eine Jacke anziehen zu müssen. Das Zimmer war groß, geräumig, die Betten super, das Bad sehr suaber und ebenfalls geräumig. Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!
Allerdings wäre es super gewesen, wenn in der Beschreibung des Hotels der Zugang zum Schwimmbad per Gutschein enthalten gewesen wäre - dann hätten wir Schwimmsachen mitgebracht und usneren Aufenthalt um einen Besuch des Ottilienbades verlängert - schade, dass keine Information dazu imn der Hotelbeschreibung steht!

Wir hatten Karten für eine Veranstaltung im Congress Centrum und ich kann diese Hotel nur empfelen.Mann kann direkt vom Hotel in das Congress Centrum gehen.Das ist einfach genial.
