This 4-star hotel offers a quiet yet central base in the heart of Suhl, in the middle of the Thuringian Forest. Guests can dine in the hotel's restaurant, which serves a menu of Thuringian and international specialties, or relax with a drink at the hotel bar.

The accommodation is pet-friendly and has on-site parking. The main attractions are within easy reach, with the Congress Centrum Suhl just a 3-minute walk away and Suhl train station a 9-minute walk from the hotel.

Our restaurant will be closed until January 15, 2026. We look forward to welcoming you back on January 16, 2026.

Clean and decent hotel, well situated with walking distance to town centre. Loved the little frozen lake that I could see from the window. Quiet town, visiting in February wasn’t the turist moment.

The Michel Hotel is a nice family and business hotel. We felt really home and warm welcome. Thank you also for the amazing Birthday Party for my dad, your hospitality was amazing, the coffee and cake selection inspired everyone and the buffet and the ice fountain was mind blowing. Decent hotel, bad internet experience

Nice hotel downtown Suhl.
Rooms are clean and staff is nice.
The only, but big downside for me was the close to non exciting internet.
For someone traveling 110-130 days per jaar, internet is a priority.
Sad to say it was not just bad , it was horrible
Hopefully they can do something about it.

Achat-Hotels im Vergleich als Magdeburger Stammgast. Das Zimmer hat gegenüber dem Magdeburger Hotel verloren, in Suhl besteht doch Sanierungsstau.
Eindeutiger Gewinner war das Frühstück und auch die Abendkarte im Bistro. Reichhaltig, gute Auswahl, netter Service, gern wieder.

Das Bett ,welches man nicht als Bett bezeichnen kann war eine Liege mit einer fetten Matratze drauf, diese kippelte und rutschte, zwei meiner Kollegen sind von dieser runtergefallen auf dem Fußboden. Wir hatten vier Einzelzimmer gebucht in allen Zimmern hängen die Handtuchhalter nur noch so lose an der Wand.

Wir waren für zwei Tage im Hotel. Besonders gefallen hat uns die zentrale Lage, die umfangreiche Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet und die überaus freundlichen Mitarbeiter/Innen im Service, an der Hotelbar und im Frühstücksbereich. Wir waren sehr zufrieden!

ACHAT wird noch eine Chance bekommen.

War das zweite Mal dort. Diesmal war das Bad nicht sauber (Lippenstift im Waschbecken, Haare auf dem Boden).
Das Frühstück war eher mittelmäßig, das Büffet lustlos aufgebaut. Wenig Auswahl bei Brötchen, Wurst, Käse, Cerealien. Obst war o.k.
Die Kaffeevollautomat lieferte keine Milch. Kann passieren. Wenn aber keine Servicemitarbeiter zu sehen sind, ist das nicht unbedingt
Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt den gezahlten Preis wert.

Das Zimmer und das Bad sind ganz nahe an unbeschreiblich. Das Zimmer war sehr, wirklich sehr klein. Im Bad stiess ich bei jeder Drehung an irgendeinem Gegenstand.
Wie dieses Hotel 4 Sterne bekommt, ist völlig rätselhaft.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. Die Betten sind gut, das Frühstück auch. Das Haus ist, wenn auch renoviert, alt. Die Zimmertüren sind undicht, gehen schwer zu, weil sie hängen.
Insgesamt ist das Hotel zu diesem Preis okay.

Schöner Kurzaufenthalt für 1 Nacht

Wir waren für 1 Nacht zu Gast, da wir eine Abendveranstaltung im CCS Suhl besucht haben. Das Hotel ist genial gelegen. 5 Minuten zu Fuß bis in die Innenstadt, CCS und Restaurants direkt in der Nähe. Das Zimmer ist funktionell, großer TV. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, mit großer Auswahl und toller Qualität. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Gerade noch akzeptabel, aber ohne Wohlfühlen

Leider sehr in die Jahre gekommen, Charme-befreite Aufenthaltsbereiche, wenig Komfort und die heutigen Erwartungen an den Zimmerkomfort (Ausstattung, Wasserkocher/Getränke) werden kaum erfüllt. Aber immerhin sehr freundlich-bemühter Service und ein wirklich gutes Frühstück.

Der Check-In Termin von 15 Uhr konnte nicht eingehalten werden. In der Dusche war das Duschgel alle. Die Siliconfugen der Dusche waren sehr schmutzig. Die Heizungsanlage blubberte die ganze Zeit(sollte man mal entlüften). Das Bad stand nach dem Duschen unter Wasser.

Zur Haupt-Check-In-Zeit war die Rezeption mit nur einer Angestellten besetzt.
Das Zimmer war winzig.
Im Bad konnte man sich nicht bewegen.
Das einzig Positive war das gute Frühstück. Bis zur letzten Minute wurden die Platten nachgefüllt und alles schmeckte frisch.

Man merkt dem Hotel an, dass es ein DDR Hotel ist und seitdem auch kaum etwas verändert wurde. Keine Lüftungsanlage im Zimmer, daher war es in der 5.Etage so warm, dass man es Anfang Juni nicht mehr aushalten konnte. Selbst in der Nacht bei dauerhaft offenen Fenster.
Im Bad gab es keine deutsche Steckdose, die Lüftung ging nicht und das Licht war einfach fürchterlich.
Im Zimmer selbst Befanden sich keine Steckdosen am Bett. Die Matratze ist sehr weich und man konnte das große Fenster komplett öffnen, dass nicht wirklich sicher ist.

Frühstück war sehr überschaubar. Wenig Auswahl.

Hervorzuheben sind die Mitarbeiter. Super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage geht nicht idealer für einen Besuch in der Innenstadt
