My boyfriend and I stayed for 4 night 5 days very nice staff. The indoor water park was a blast the hot tub wasn’t very hot more like bath water but still a great time. Parking was a bit hard but we managed. The only thing was the room was quite dusty and had a strange smell when the heat was on. We were missing a shower liner as well and the pillow cases were definitely not clean or replaced and had stains and with that dust and a few little hairs when we moved the pillows from the top of the bed. Foundation on the comforter led me to believe that all the bed stuff was glanced over and just left from the last ppl since i do not wear makeup. Called down and just asked for clean sheets to be brought up but other than that bathroom very nice we had a balcony with a view of the slopes and the tubing was definitely one of my favorites. Do just wish i didn’t receive two dirty beds after spending so much money but win some you lose some. over all a good first time at camelback back

Stayed here on a Thursday- Saturday. Crowds were obviously way less on Thursday and I don’t think I would ever stay here on the weekend- lines and waiting times get insane and prices double. The room smelled like an old college dorm which was very unpleasant and it was definitely worn down. Stain on the shower curtain. Staff was nice and kids had a great time at the water park!

We had an excellent stay! My family and I absolutely loved it. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The amenities were great and made our stay even more enjoyable. No parking at arrival and missed Snow tubing with my family-the whole reason we went.

No food in the restaurant-out of Fish, Chicken, Onion rings, special drinks both Saturday and Sunday

No one answered the phone for the dining experiences for an entire month before our trip-was told by Trails End Manager they had no phone and no phone line-he had to install it the day before my trip.

Also told by trails end manager he had to drive and get french fries for the entire hotel because no one even had fries.

Had to sit separately from family because had to make separate bookings because no one would answer the phone or return messages

waitress on our second night at the restaurant had a poor attitude

food and drinks on night 2 reservation was so bad we sent back 2 meal and a drink

We reserved a room for 5 people and were given 3 towels

The room phone did not work to call housekeeping or the front desk to request things in the room

We did not have fitted sheets on our bed.

Took a while to get the luggage carts.

Arcade has no unlimited game cards and is over priced

Overall this hotel was very poorly run. They were understaffed and the property bids not have enough spots to accommodate the number of people vacationing.

Check in was smooth, we got the king-bunk beds room (425) and noticed blankets at the bunk beds had stains and not washed previously or often. Also there were some food garbage left from previous guest in a drawer. Other than that, pretty clean.

This place is great!! The staff is super helpful and super nice! It’s a great place for families for sure! But even if you’re going as a couple or group of adults you can still have fun! Views amazing! Only complaint is the beds. Yeah I know yikes! Not sure if it was just our room but man probably some of the most uncomfortable beds I’ve slept on and I travel a lot. Still, it’s a great spot. Would recommend you at least try once.

Room service went through all my bags and private belongings. They rummaged through the clothes in my dressers and stole my 180$ perfume. Management barely cared that their employees are doing this to guests. I will never go back and wish i can have my money back. All this money for such an aweful time feels so disappointing

Check in was ridiculous with a long line and people that were “water park only” getting priority check-in. Water park needs better upkeep— wave pool has pieces of debris floating and the ONLY hot tub was barely warm. We were informed assigned to the hot tub that it had been leaking for awhile. We paid top dollar for a suite to enjoy outdoor activities for New Year’s and expect a hot tub. Do better Csmelback!! We will take our business to another hotel-Waterpark!

This place has seriously gone downhill and appears to be under new management. It feels like Camelback was sold and is now being run purely for profit, with little to no concern for guest experience or safety. At this point, it feels like guests are being overcharged for declining services.

We have stayed here five years in a row and have never had an experience this bad. Removing valet parking was a major mistake — we spent 45 minutes just trying to find parking, which is unacceptable for a resort of this size, especially in winter.

The snow tubing was horrendous. It was extremely slow, dangerously overcrowded, and completely disorganized. Tubes were scattered everywhere, people were falling off to the sides, and there was little to no supervision. It felt unsafe.

The shuttle service was a complete failure. We waited over an hour and a half, and it never arrived. There was no communication or assistance from staff.

Our room was never cleaned during the stay. No housekeeping service at all.

To make matters worse, a fire alarm was pulled, and the hotel descended into chaos. Guests were running throughout the building with no clear direction or crowd control from staff.

Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience. Poor management, overcrowding, lack of organization, and serious safety concerns. After five years of loyalty, we will not be returning.

I’ve been to aquatopia for the day a handful of times and this is the first time I stayed at the resort. Stayed with my partner for a romantic getaway. Beautiful and clean room, the pools and swim up bar and outdoor hot tub are gems. The bar staff is always attentive and puts care into the drinks and the atmosphere. Check-in and check-out are quick and easy. All staff is helpful and professional every time I’ve been here. Thank you for a great stay!

Room cleaning service not done as specified every three day we need to put the trash outside the door because three days is too much time also we need to ask for paper, clean towels, and trash bags multiple times. The hotel is expensive but no problem with that the issue is they charged a 25 dollars Parking fee daily on top of the daily rate waiting time at the reception on the 30th was a nightmare almost 2 hrs next time I’ll book other options in the area

Stay away. Nightmare experience. Unfriendly staff (Steve at front desk), nobody was helpful when questions popped up. Restaurants were closed, rooms were dirty, terrible overpriced for what you actually get in return. We went to the front desk at 11p because the vending machines were broken and we needed bottles of water. They had zero water on the property to distribute or sell to us.

The only positive is that the waterpark was fun and the kids enjoyed it. But also pretty filthy.

We will not be returning.

Our stay at Camelback Resort was extremely disappointing and unacceptable.

From the first day, our room had a major heating and insulation problem. The heating unit under the window was poorly installed, leaving large, open gaps between the unit and the wall. During below-freezing temperatures, freezing air continuously blew into the room, keeping the floor near the window ice cold at all times. We reported this issue multiple times throughout our stay, both in person and via the resort’s text system. Nothing was ever fixed.

We were forced to stuff towels into the gaps ourselves just to reduce the draft. Despite this, the area remained freezing. We were traveling with young children, and the prolonged exposure to the cold resulted in both of our children becoming seriously ill with pneumonia after the stay. This was deeply upsetting and could have been avoided if the issue had been addressed.

Additional problems included a very long walk to the room (5–6 minutes from the main entrance), a poorly designed bathroom with constant water on the floor after showers, and overall lack of responsiveness from management.

For a family resort, ignoring serious maintenance issues—especially those affecting children’s health—is unacceptable. I cannot recommend this resort.

We enjoyed are stay. There was always ample parking and check in was a breeze. The kids loved Aquatopia and we liked how close we were to the snow tubing area and the views. We really enjoyed dinner at Alta Vida. Our 2 bedroom room was spacious and we were able to control the thermostat without a problem.

As far as negatives, our king size bed was very uncomfortable and made a lot of noise every time we moved. Mattress needs to be replaced (room 361). The arcade was overpriced, but the kids enjoyed it. The wait time for our food inside Aquatopia was about 30 minutes which we felt was too long. I believe they need a better system like at Great Wolf Lodge where you can order on the app instead.

All in all, we would return. Maybe we’ll return in the summer so we can try the outdoor waterpark, hiking trails, zip lining and other outdoor summer activities.
