We stayed at Amus Hotel & Spa with my wife and son and had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent, and the food was outstanding — both breakfast and dinner offered a wide variety of delicious options. The hotel has a small but beautifully maintained territory, perfect for a relaxing stay. The rooms are simply furnished, yet the beds and pillows are very comfortable. There was some noise from the restaurant ventilation and the nearby road, but overall, we truly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in one of the suites with a pool/garden and were all inclusive. Our room and pool/garden were very nice and we were very happy with them. Would be good to have solar power to heat all the pools though as the water was very cold. Only small downside for us was the noise from The main road along which all the hotels are placed and the pump for the pools as we were next to it but having said that we live near a major road so wasn’t really a problem for us. The food was excellent and plenty of it and all of the staff in the suite areas we dealt with were all very nice, lovely, friendly and helpful people. We didn’t manage to use the spa but hopefully we will go back and use it next time we go.

A really nice hotel with good services and amenities nearby. The staff were brilliant and always so friendly and helpful- special mention to the staff at reception, at the bars and restaurants!! We went all inclusive which was well worth it and would definitely recommend the hotel. The whole area was very clean and the rooms cleaned to a high standard .

We stayed at Amus Hotel & Spa in August 2025 and had the most amazing stay! The staff were incredible, the food was fantastic at the buffet and all the on site places. We stayed in a duplex with sea view and were so impressed with the size of the room and the balcony space. We were later upgraded to a suite with private pool. We preferred the layout of the duplex but were still incredibly comfortable in the suite, and the pool was fantastic. We would love to return to this hotel again, we had a brilliant time.

Amus is a lovely hotel with lots of facilities, attentive and professional staff, good quality rooms, restaurants and bars. Spa is genuinely a great addition. The private beach is across the road, but the fact you access it via tunnel makes all the difference and feels both safe and non disruptive. Only positive feedback about the booked in restaurants - they are great for a resort hotel. All inclusive option didn’t disappoint either. Overall a great 10 days relaxing at Amus and exploring Rhodes.

It’s about a 20-minute drive from the airport. Staff were kind, polite, and helpful throughout our stay. Cleanliness & Room: Room and common areas were very clean. Housekeeping came daily, and towels were changed regularly. Bed and pillows were comfortable, blackout curtains worked well. The balcony was nice, though the shower cabin was narrow. The room had a wardrobe, drawers, hangers, safe, and an empty minibar. Air conditioning worked well and was essential in the heat. Pools & Beach: Two small outdoor pools – one at ground level and one on the rooftop. The rooftop pool was often crowded with kids, and swimming was hard due to ball games. Water was surprisingly warm. There’s also an indoor pool, but the chlorine smell was too strong for us. The hotel has its own sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach. Access is easy via underpass, but no hotel-run beach bar or snack area. Many guests reserved poolside sunbeds early with towels. We preferred the sea, which was great. Food & Bar: We booked half board. À la carte restaurants are extra unless you’re all-inclusive. Lunch is €25 per adult, €12.5 per child. À la carte (1 pizza + 2 salads) was better value. Food overall wasn’t great. Too much pork, not enough kid-friendly options. Weak bakery section. I’d rate food 6/10. Bar was nice: Greek coffee €4, cocktails around €10 Other: Wi-Fi was free and strong. Spa and gym available, but we didn’t use them. You can change towels daily at the spa. Lots of kids at the hotel.

Amus is a lovely hotel, and we really enjoyed our stay, all of the staff are friendly and helpful, it is a good distance from Rhodes old town and the airport.
Food at breakfast was plentiful with a great variety, plenty of space to sit inside or outside.
Olivetti restaurant was lovely too.
Pool and activities were good, access to the beach is perfect with a tunnel under the road making it safe, lots of restaurants and bars nearby along with supermarkets all in walking distance. Our rooms were great, nice size and kept clean. The toiletry products were lovely. The spa was nice, staff very friendly, but it is pricey. £100+ for a massage.
Some areas to improve, the pedestrian access to the hotel needs to be improved you can only walk on the drive which has lots of hire cars and taxis on it. They should enforce the message not to put towels out before 09:30, there is a sign up, but it is at the wrong end of the pool. I they didn’t remove any despite the sign stating that they do. We mostly found somewhere for 09:00, and there were 3 of us.
You have to scan a QR for any menu that you want to see, even in the restaurants. Which isn’t great if you don’t take a phone to dinner, or pool bar etc.
The bathroom toiletries are attached to the wall to prevent you taking them, which I 100% support, but please make them reachable from the bath! You can only reach them if you’re having a shower. Tricky to get up every time you want some shower gel!

I also have to eat gluten free and I ate very well here! Each meal time they would show me what I could and couldn’t eat and for breakfast I could even order gluten free pancakes. Would highly recommend this hotel!

From the moment we arrived until departure, we were so impressed by the warm and welcoming nature of all the staff. Lia, in the suites reception was incredibly attentive and professional and we appreciate everything she did for us. She is a credit to the hotel!!
Our room was very spacious and the comfortable bed offered a perfect nights sleep after a day of exploring. Lovely variety of breakfast choices and great location - close to some great restaurants. The cleanliness of the steam room and jacuzzi in the spa weren’t too great but overall all other facilities were fantastic!

The stay was very good, all staff were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend to book the AMUs suit, it is slightly away from the main hotel building and alittle quieter. Different pools available depending on your needs, close to the beach, with a underpath that leads directly to the beech. Although it is not a sandy beech.

5 night stay in suite with Mountain View on 9th floor. Nice bright room, clean, sofa bed for 3rd adult, 2 bathrooms one with just toilet and basin, double balcony, some sun in afternoon. Breakfast had lots of choice, didn’t see anything GF however if that’s what you require. Nice pool area with one on the roof too. Drinks and food expensive. Beach sunbeds free. Should make getting beach towels easier, quite a walk to spa to change them. Resort fairly small, lots of touristy shops and restaurants. Lovely sunset views from beach. Can walk to Rhodes town )apparently takes an hour) or get the bus from the road outside the hotel. Enjoyed our stay.

The staff where absolutely brilliant and couldn't do enough for you, I would definitely stop here again. The only issue we had with the hotel was we paid for a suite which boasted a heated pool and was told it wasn't working which we was ok with at first as we had free spa access included too then be told that the hot tub wasn't working either. It did get fixed towards the end of the holiday though, Other then everything was amazing.

AWFUL customer service by the receptionists. As soon as me and my friend arrived, there was no warm welcome like other hotels, the receptionist was very cold and blunt. Once we signed in and were informed that we had an hour until check in, we were told to move our luggage OURSELVES. So we had to walk to the spa ourselves, carrying all of our luggage into their lift, up and down multiple stairs, with still no one offering to help. Then once we get there we we were haggled by the lady at the spa with ridiculous prices specifically for the spa. For example, if I want JUST my fringe cut, it would cost me €40. Even without a wash and blow dry. And so when we politely said that we are tired and we’ll have a think about the offers as we have literally just arrived, the lady became very cold, rude and then ignored us.
The rest of the trip, not one person there explained where any of the facilities are, how to access the private beach, or even where breakfast was going to be and at what time. We had to figure everything out on our own, which is very odd to me considering it’s a 5 star hotel. ALSO at the end of our trip, when we checked out, the receptionist unprofessionally forgot to charge us for the tax for our stay and so they practically harassed my phone when I arrived at the airport telling me I didn’t pay and and that I need to now FIND their email and pay it ASAP.
The breakfast was also not nice, eggs were super oily. The bar staff were lovely and so were the housekeepers

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rhodes Bay Hotel & Spa, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles, jokes and a seamless check-in process. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable - especially Audrey, Manolis and Fedra!

The mountain view room was clean and a good size with working air-con.

The hotel's amenities were great, with 3 different pools - the rooftop pool being the favourite, although we found the pool temperature to be quite cold, although the indoor pool was warmer.

Overall, our stay at Rhodes Bay Hotel & Spa was great. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location (bus-top right outside the hotel to take you to/from Old Town) made it a memorable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay, would definitely return.

Should not be a 5 stars hotel.
From reception to bars and restaurants, poor service from a staff mostly (apart for a few individuals) clearly not trained to the standards and just not helpful/not bothered.
Room looked tired, with mismatched floor tiles, a tv in front of a mirror, a scruffy bathroom and a ripped sofa.
Food was varied but quality average.
Silly system with the pool towels which need to be collected from the spa.
Spa staff very pushy to book, list of treatment and prices hard to obtain. Yet they ambush you after your treatment to leave a review.
Picture perfect spa but not thought through, a jacuzzi without steps to get in, with nowhere to leave your towel, a steam room with steps down you can't see/no sign, a huge sauna struggling to get hot with nails sticking out of the benches.
Messy pools areas with sunbeds all over the place, cigarette bots in the grass, glasses on tables for hours.
Very loud music for \"activities\" at the downstairs pool twice a day, played over the pool's music, with young entertainment team dancing, all rather tacky.
Good gym but blocked shower and toilet without lock.
Cleanliness and tidiness under average all round.
Overall lack of attention to detail.

Negatives:

I found it odd that they did not allow people to order food/drinks from outside (first time I’ve seen this at any hotel or resort I’ve stayed at)

It is not very close to the city, and the beach is very wavy.

Loved our time at the Rhodes Bay Hotel.
The staff were amazing - in particular the pool bar staff (George and Milinos) who recommended some amazing local restaurants and kept us entertained with expert service and particularly great Bloody Mary's. Anna and Melissa gave great pool dance classes and we attended the bingo which was good fun too.

We would have loved a massage but the prices were not published anywhere. We talked to the spa staff twice who tried selling a 600 Euro whole package.

Breakfast was good. Well organised, great selection and views outside are amazing.

Overall really loved our stay. The room was beautiful, the view was amazing and the little touches really made us feel welcome. All areas including pool was super super clean and all staff we talked to went above and beyond. The under road walkway to the beach was a great idea!
Would recommend and was sad to go home!

The hotel itself is great with an amazing view & had really good facilities from the spa to the pool and right across the road is the beach.

The staff at reception however I think could be more helpful and friendly. Everytime we went to ask a question whether it was for a taxi or just directions- it was like we were bothering them. It wasn’t all reception but just mainly the person who checked us in which kind of ruined some of our experience with the service.

It's not a 4 or 5 star hotel - it is a three, and there are problems every step of the way and it really wasn't enjoyable. The room was opposite lifts so lots of chat, housekeepers shouting and furniture being moved around. Balcony light didn't work. The bathroom had no ventilation so condensation everywhere, and flooded floor. Housekeeping gave no toilet roll and didn't come everyday. Products out of date. They made the bed and left everything else.I got two single beds pushed together. And the middle where they joined was uncomfortable - this is unacceptable for a 5 star hotel. Jacuzzi wasn't working, receptionist said 'that's the pressure, it is what it is'. I then called her a second time she said yeah it's not working. Towel system insane. Has to wait in a 20 min queue everyday for food, service bad. I informed there was a piegon in the buffet and they laughed. Poor food labelling, marked veggie when it was meat. Lack of information about facilities and classes. I wanted to give feedback but was refused an email address. Adult pool area quiet except for lifeguard talking loud on his phone. Sunbeds on beach and by the other pool uncomfortable, and towels don't cover the bed. Generally staff incredibly rude, and dinner service was bad. Waiting for drinks, arriving after I finished my meal. They had someone in a suit to show you to a table and then that's it, completely ignored. It took them 25 minutes one night to bring a card machine.

The property and rooms were very nice with lots of pools and areas to relax. The bar bits menu could have had a few more items. When restaurants at the property were closed it was better to go through room service menu instead of the bar bites menu for food. Also the pools closed too early. July is very hot and the sun goes down after 8pm. It would been nice to have at least one pool open till 9pm. There were a few times we wanted to use the pool after 7pm but were unable to since they were closed. The really nice beaches required a 25 to 1 hour drive from the property so we had to rent a car. The beach by the property was not very nice.

The view of the room is wonderful. It is more like a 4-star than a 5-star. The staff service was mixed, some were excellent and hospitable, while some were rude. The lady in the shop for bus tickets was especially rude, should not be in service business. The taverna at the 11F next to the pool offers excellent food, music, and overlooking the ocean with sunset. The service was excellent, the best in this island. This taverna is must-go if one is staying in this hotel.

Rhodes bay hotel is a dream come true for many tourists. Renovated, clean amazing staff. Such friendly accommodating people. Literally your wish is their command. Restaurants on premises offer great selections at breakfast, tirelessly. Gourmet food for dinner. The pool clean and quiet. The spa truly an art of massages and other services. Loved the sauna and the staff.

This isn't a bad hotel, but its definitely not a 5 star one!!

There were some plus points:

The food was great, especially dinner.

The pool on the 11th floor was nice

Our room was spacious and modern. The patio was huge with a lovely view

Now the bad stuff:

The staff! There were a few exceptions, like the lovely lady serving pool drinks on the 11th floor, and some of the waiting staff in the main restaurant, but overall we found the staff quite unfriendly and unhelpful. Most of the time we felt that they really couldn't care less. This was especially true with reception

Housekeeping was pretty poor. Our beds were made and towels changed, but our room was not cleaned. The floors were really dusty and full of hair. Under the bed and sofa were very bad. They didn't remove dirty glasses and cutlery and only replaced (some) toiletries after 4 days.

Ridiculous system to collect/return pool towels! Can only be done at the spa at certain times, no use for those using the 11th floor pool or anyone wanting a swim before 10am. Most people used their own

Our stay included 2 a la carte meals. We tried to book the nicer restaurant in advance but were told no. But there were no dinner slots left when we arrived. Bit of a con!

No pedestrian access to the bus stop into town, you walk on the road which is so dangerous on the dark

Really loud club music at the main pool - more suitable for a club 18-30 hotel!

The gym showers - disgusting

The view would have been okay if not for a large purple flood light from the hotels outdoor restaurant pointed into my window. I had to close the curtains to block the floodlight, so the view I paid extra money for was not visible. Further, the loud music from the hotels outdoor restaurant was audible in my room through late into the evening. I requested a high floor room in my reservation. I was assigned to a room two floors from the bottom. Reservation requests are not honored. There are better options for the price point.

COCROACHES IN ROOMS. DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL. Horrible service, dirty rooms with cockroaches. We stayed in this hotel for vocation and rented cabanas. We expected 5 star hotel to be extremely clean and enjoyable, however we received only rude service, cockroaches in our room running around every day, and the hotel did not do anything. When we were leaving we expected to recive any discounts, or compliments from hotel, instead the hotel charged us extra for late check out. I would say Greek people do not know how to provide service to people. This was my worst vocation and I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Hotel is a bit dated and in need of modernising the lobby and public areas - they look from the 1980’s and very old fashioned compared to the Olympic Palace next door. Rooms were clean, modern and spacious in comparison. Balconies plagued by birds and their muck. Again attention to detail with balconies, condition and balcony furniture lacking. Pool areas nice, would be better if all the beds were padded and not just those around the upper pool also if a more central convenient location for towels. Food at property good. With a little more investment and attention to detail this hotel would be amazing.

The staff were all so friendly and helpful, and genuinely thrilled to hear how wonderful we thought the hotel was. The deluxe Seaview suite was stunning, all the facilities were really clean and new, the lobby is like something out of a Bond movie! We upgraded most days to full board as all the inclusive food and drink were delicious. The pool was a bit cold, but it is only April! The bar at the top has the loveliest views looking over to Turkey - a perfect place to sit to watch the sun go down with a cocktail. We'll definitely return...

Staff amazing ! Great location! Minor issues not enough sun beds probably due to distancing but everyone gets up early and save beds! Men having to wear trousers at dinner should be smart trousers as ripped jeans against smart tailored shorts doesn’t make sense ! Apart from that overall smashing hotel as I said staff are exceptional!

Good food

We enjoyed staying here for a week all inclusive. The food was very good and the staff were always helpful polite and smiling under their masks. The place was clean and the hotel itself was on the main road to Rhodes town about a 10 minute drive away in a taxi. The bus stops outside the hotel if you prefer to use this for a small one way charge each time. The access to the beach is via a subway and the beach is pebbly with sand a little further out into the water so bring beach shoes. The 2 pools that were open to us in regular bungalows were not heated but as it was September it wasn’t too bad but the sea was warmer. It is mandatory to wear masks in the lifts and foyer but it appears some guests wether they are staying or visiting for a wedding cannot read and do not wear them without any challenge from staff. The quietest pool is on the 11th floor and the noisiest with swim up bar is on the ground floor - the waterfall feature and road proximity as well as music being played made me stay away. The A La Carte restaurant was ok but could only book once a stay ( even if for 2 weeks) and has separate menus for those all inclusive and those not. All in all it was a good place to stay but not 5 star luxury. The rooms are tired and dated ( but very clean) - and the king size bed we had was comfy. The aircon worked well and was quiet- I am not one to return to the same hotel unless something spectacular- so wouldn’t stay again. We are going back to Rhodes as it’s lovely.

The Deluxe Room is very small with a miniature shower and a view of the woods and trees. Also the room cleanliness was not done and did not vacuum bed linen for the 6 days we stayed at the hotel.

This hotel didn't quite live up to expectations. Busy and impersonal reception which seemed to be all about filling in registration forms, including supplying rather too many details about our credit card! Room was ok - not very big, but clean and comfortable at least. No idea what was going on with the carpet in the corridor though! Terrible design! Breakfast buffet was nice but overall, our stay felt very overpriced for what was on offer, especially as we had spent the previous few days at another hotel which was vastly superior and a bit cheaper. It lacks some nice finishing touches that are the mark of a great hotel.

Was not so impressed with the quality and comfort of the sunbeds at the main pool nor the uneven and rocky pebbled beach (especially as the hotel website portrayed a sandy beach - not an honest depiction of the reality).

We were upgraded as soon as we arrived as we were originally staying in the bungalow, however, upon arrival found this had not been refurbished. Luckily they upgraded us to a new refurbished deluxe room which was nice.
Overall the hotel was okay, the breakfast buffet was terrible and truly awful food. We never ate at the hotel as the food seemed terrible, and there was a strict dress code for men for the evening which we found ridiculous.
The sunbeds by the adult pool were good however the pool area itself seemed tired, much like the rest of the hotel. The main pool sun beds were awful, so uncomfortable and the holiday activity staff unbearable and made the whole place feel very cheap.
This hotel is cheap and cheerful but not what the pictures have you believe. Rhodes itself was lovely and the hotel was fine for us as a young couple, but would not return or recommend.

Excellent choice - you don’t need to look further. The hotel is stylish and the atmosphere is chilled despite being located on a busy main road. Very helpful and professional staff and brilliant entertainment by Alexandra, Dragos and Jerry- especially the aqua gym! Well suited for solo holiday makers not just families.

The property is well located, and has many areas to relax (pools, bars, grass area, private beach etc). It is a little dated but still a very nice place however the housekeeping was very hap hazard! On arrival the room was spotlessly clean BUT the sheets on the bed had not been changed since previous occupants and were visibly soiled!! The toiletries were replaced some days and not on other days. The tissue box was not replaced when empty. There was no condominium so no details about the resort facilities (we didn't realise until day 8 that there was a library and an additional pool and bar upstairs. Only by chance overheard that the restaurant had buffet theme nights and still not sure where the gym is located! Who knows what else we didn't know about). Having said this, the breakfast buffet food was fresh and a wide variety available and the specialty restaurant was amazing. Most of the staff were very friendly although did not engage in conversation beyond what was essential. For the rice I would have expected a little more attention to details.

Great find, well located for getting into the old town. Food was lovey at all meals, with lots of options.
Overall facilities were good, 4 pools (one only available when having treatment at the spa), bars and restaurants were all enjoyable with helpful staff. The spa is worth a visits, treatments well priced and they have a beautiful Haman but you do have to pay to use it.
Only 2 issues, toiletries were not replaced unless asked and the hotel has had some rooms renovated. Sadly we were not in one of these, the room was fine for the price but the bathroom was small and if you are anything other than small in size using the tiny shower cubical will be hard.
Otherwise decent value for money.

Great location but 4 stars not 5

Pleasant hotel but tired. Apparently they are upgrading this winter and this will hopefully address the issue. Facilities are all there and staff are great and help in anyway they can. Would stay again as location lovely and exclusive beach area in particular very good.
