The hotel is dated. We lost electricity one day and the TV was broken and never replaced, despite them having a look at it. Buffet food was fine but lacked flavour unfortunately, although kids loved it.
There was a lot of sun lounges around the pool, just need to get up early and secure one with a towel. Loved having three pools for the kids to go between, a great small kids splash pool near kids club, a quiet pool and then the biggest pool had music playing and lots of activities. The entertaining staff were brilliant and showed enthusiasm daily. I wasn't so keen on the evening entertainment.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Sol Cosmopolitan. We found the hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff friendly. The all inclusive buffet had an excellent choice of food every day. The pool bar added to the selection of feed available and had a relaxed vibe in the evening. If you choose to use the spa treatments, I've never had a better massage! The Abba tribute on the Friday were excellent fun.

The staff were all amazing! Always friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself was tired in some comunal areas and the sunbeds were not very comfortable, but overall it was well maintained. Pools were clean and toilet facilities wete cleaned regularly. Rooms were cleaned daily. Toiletries only replenished when we asked. 5th floor room had good views. Superior rooms same size as other rooms. We asked to move from our original room as it had an extra single bed in, which meant there was a table and chairs squeezed next to double bed. We literally would have had to climb over the furniture to get in and out of bed! Food was good. Cocktails not great - mostly too sweet as lots of orange juice drink and syrups. Self service soft drinks and ice cream.

Pros:
Staff were polite, helpful and friendly.
Lovely sunset view from the Terrace Bar.
Short walk to Ixia bars/restaurants, on a main bus route for Ixia, Rhodes and airport. Taxi’s come quick if ordered by Hotel. There’s a rank just outside too.
There are 2/3 shops to pick up essentials, typical holidays gifts and beach stuff.
There are 3/4 bars/restaurants right outside hotel.
Reception were helpful with a room change.
5mins walk (across a main road or using an underpass) to the beach / sea.
The pizza at the pool bar was nice.
The barman in the lobby bar was great.

Cons:
The whole place needs a refresh. Especially soft furnishings. It’s very dated. I felt we paid well over the odds for what it was.
The All Inclusive buffet was challenging, we ate out 2-3 nights out of 7. There were some live cooking stations but the quality and taste didn’t work.
Rooms are VERY basic.
We didn’t see any decent entertainment all week, except what was coming out of the kids club.
The worst beach I’ve ever been to in my life - it was like dirt rather than sand, lots of plastics and cigarette butts and you definitely need to buy rubber beach shoes as it’s all pebbles.

Just go B&B and use it as a base to explore Ixia & Rhodes if you get a really cheap deal. Try Villa de Mar and Amalfi Coast in Ixia.

Hotel let down day the food and inclusive drinks

The staff including the manager are great. It is very clean and has a nice spa. However the inclusive drinks are very poor especially the spirits which bare no resemblance to the originals. I went to the nearby shop and bought my own bottle of whisky on the first night. Although not as bad,the food is repetitive and mostly of poor quality. We ate out many times in the evening even though we were all inclusive.The manager explained that they had to keep within a budget. I would suggest they divert more money to the food and drink. They are by far the main reasons why I would not return. There are not many restaurants within easy walking distance. Beware of recommendations from the locals because everyone has a relation or friend linked to a restaurant. Ask another tourist if they’ve tried any. We were always able to get a sunbed near either of the clean pools. This hotel seems very popular with Germans,French,Skandinavians and Russians. Some who lack any manners,especially in the restaurant. The evening entertainment is poor except for the Greek night with local dancers. The rest of the evenings it is the hotels enthusiastic but amateur animation team who are much better suited to the daytime activities. The beach just across the road is not very good and very windy and stony. Wear something on your feet as it’s very uncomfortable. The hotel is situated between Rhodes town and Lalysos with not much choice of facilities and restaurants.

GREAT PEOPLE, MADE OUR STAY. GREAT LOCATION.

What makes this hotel special is the staff, always smiling, helpful and kind, something that can always make or ruin a holiday so for us, they made our holiday. 2 lovely swimming pools (it would have been nice it the hotel puts a sign for \"adults only\" in one of them as there is plenty of room for children on the bigger swimming pool where all the activities take place. Good selection of food and snacks. The staff at the cocktail bar were lovely too, local drinks do not taste as good as the branded ones but I guess you expect this in an all inclusive resort. Great location, bus stop just outside the hotel. Beach also a few steps away.

Average hotel, nothing special

Somehow they had managed to overbook the hotel which meant we were staying in a different hotel for the first 2 nights. When we finally got back to this hotel is was very disappointing. The staff were fairly useless and a little rude. The food was pretty tasty, can't complain about that. Shame they didn't know how to pour beer. All in all I wasn't very impressed with the hotel. Wouldn't recommend to anyone going to Rhodes, at all.

Stayed at cosmopolitan, Ixia for one week from September 11th 2014, arrived lunchtime and was told straight away to go and eat, which we did, on return to reception the lady said we were having to be transferred to another hotel bout 5 minutes down the road as they had a problem! they took us by car and said they would collect us after 12 noon the following day. the other hotel was fine apart from the food wasn't that great. They collected us at 1230 pm on now the second day and was booked in cosmopolitan. Room was nice overlooking pool and seaview which we had asked for. All staff were friendly, food was good, and hotel was clean as was room.
Nicky (think that was her name) was the lady on reception, she was lovely and couldn't apologise enough! she wouldn't say what the exact problem had been but was having to do it again the following day to another 14 people!!!!!!!!!!!! Somebody needs to take responsibility, in management, to stop this happening! Nicky coped with her job extremely well and looked after her clients to the best of her ability.
Despite this problem we would be more than happy to return to this hotel.

Don't go by the website

They put a tag around your wrist which you are supposed to wear all the times. It cannot be removed temporarily. Horrible idea!
Crowded breakfast area. Poor quality breakfast. Poor decor. Dirty sofas in lobby and bar. Lack of civility amongst some male guests who were walking around in dining and lobby area, topless!
This is only our personal view as we were looking for an up market place. Mareblue might appeal to those who like Blackpool for a holiday.

Reception staff helpful. Cleaning staff came into room without knocking first! Noisy at 4am for 2 nights.

Had purse and camera stolen from bag by pool on the first day with my teenage daughters right next to the guy. Thieves obviously target the busy pool area.

Shortage of sunloungers, not much shade by pool.

All-inclusive, and all low class

We stayed one night at the Mareblue because it is close to the Rhodes airport. It was the worst mistake of the trip. I could imagine at one time where the Mareblue was decent but it is now \"All Inclusive\" which sounds great - free drinks and food all day long. The food quality is very poor, about on par with airline food. The drinks we had were also very poor quality. So if you want infinite low quality goods, this is the place. If you want anything decent please choose somewhere else. One thing not all inclusive was the wi-fi, which we paid for and it barely worked and turned off regularly. The staff was nice enough, but they forgot to give us our passports back (they hold them overnight) and it caused a tremendous headache. The room was the worst part...our reservation said \"double bed\" but it was actually two single beds pushed together. Like that would ever be the right setup for anyone. I strongly recommend against this hotel unless you are a big family trying to save money and don't mind the lowest quality food and drink and a completely packed pool with the worst beach on Rhodes.

Super hôtel pour un séjour en famille avec des enfants. Très bien situé, avec une ambiance agréable et un buffet bon et varié. La cuisine est peu salée, mais on peut facilement ajouter soi-même. La vue sur la plage est magnifique et l’accès par le petit tunnel à pied est très pratique. Il y a également deux supérettes juste au pied de l’hôtel, ce qui est vraiment pratique.

Côté points à améliorer : l’hygiène reste correcte mais, étant assez maniaque, j’ai remarqué certains détails comme une odeur d’égout dans la salle de bain, la présence de rideaux de douche que je n’apprécie pas, ainsi que quelques signes d’usure sur les sanitaires. Je n’ai pas non plus aimé les verres en plastique réutilisables, qui laissaient parfois un goût désagréable.

Dans l’ensemble, un très bon séjour et un hôtel que je recommande malgré ces petits détails.

Gutes Essen mit sehr großer Auswahl, alles wurde immer sofort aufgefüllt. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, sehr gute Englischkenntnisse und viele haben auch Deutsch gesprochen.
Pool und sonstige Umgebung sehr sauber und gepflegt, der Strand war vermutlich aufgrund der Jahreszeit noch nicht ganz auf Stand (noch recht viel angeschwemmter Müll).

Perfekt ställe att åka med sin familj eller sin flickvän för en lugn, trevlig eller romantisk semester.

Är man ute efter en utekväll men inte vill bo inne i stan finns det taxistation som går direkt in till centrum för 9 euro, 1-4 pers.

Men ska man ut o upptäcka staden nattetid skulle jag personligen bo på mitsis grand eller möjligtvis inne i gamla stan.

Hotellet erbjuder också olika aktiviteter dagligen men stänger 01.00. all inclusive är också enbart i bruk fram till 23.00 men det som ingår i den kommer man väldigt långt på.

Såvida det kommer till maten är den bra för att vara grekisk standard. Men som sagt det är ju en cafeteria/buffe så inge 5 stjärnig lyx middag med oxfile direkt.

La struttura si trova sulla baia di Ixia, in una posizione panoramica dalla quale si possono osservare le coste della Turchia e dei tramonti mozzafiato, soprattutto dalle bellissime camere vista mare situate al sesto e al settimo piano. Lo staff è estremamente cordiale e amichevole, la pulizia delle camere e degli spazi pubblici, comprese le piscine, è il punto di forza dell'hotel, grazie alla dedizione e all'impegno del personale delle pulizie che, nonostante lavori senza sosta, è sempre con il sorriso. Buona animazione, sia per adulti che per bambini, compresi gli spettacoli serali. Andrebbe invece decisamente migliorata la qualità delle bevande comprese nella formula all inclusive, che al momento è insufficiente e non rispecchia gli standard dell'hotel. Le spiagge antistanti l'hotel, seppur gradevoli dal punto di vista panoramico, sono adatte soltanto agli amanti del wind surf e altri sport analoghi. Il mare di Ixia è molto mosso e ventoso e la spiaggia di ciottoli non è molto pulita. Tuttavia questo non dipende dall'hotel, poiché sono gestite da privati. Consigliamo di noleggiare un'auto per visitare alcune spiagge fantastiche e le maggiori attrazioni presenti sull'isola.

Mycket nöjda!

Mycket nöjda med själva hotellet. Bra servis, trevlig personal fräscha rum och hela hotellet. Maten var mer än OK, alltid något intressant att äta, alla kan hitta det de vill. Varierande maträtter (grekiskt, italiensk, kinesisk, osv) varje dag fullt med frukt och grönt samt massa med efterrätter. Alko drinkar kändes blandade med vatten, men inget stor problem för oss. Snacks fanns tillgänglig under eftermiddag samt fika, glass, drinkar, osv. Animation teamet var bra, flera program om dagen både för vuxna och barn. Man kunde koppla av lite själv när barnen lekte i Mini Club (barn 8 år och 3 år). Var besviken på själva Ixia området, slitet med dåligt infrastruktur som kunde hållas renare. Det fanns ett par restauranger och butiker i närheten. Men man kunde ta buss eller taxi till Rhodos City som ligger ca 10 min från hotellet och där fanns det mycket att göra, upptäcka, osv. Taxi kostade 10 euro och buss 2 euro/person. Stranden var tvärs över gatan och var rätt stenig, men med vacker och varm havsvatten. Parasoll med 2 stolar kostade 10 euro. Solstolar vid bassängen behövde man reservera med handduk inte senare än kl 8-8.30 på morgonen, kom man senare än så det var svårt att hitta plats. Det blåste mycket i Ixia, vilket var skönt.

Mukava paikka pariskunnille!

Good value for money. Short distance to Rhodes-city. Hinta-laatusuhde erinomainen. Allasalue mukavan kokoinen ja meren rantaan lyhyt matka (toki tie välissä). Hyvä ja runsas aamupala, altaalla sai välipalaa ja juomaa, kattava lounas ja runsas illallinen. Juomat (olut, viinit, drinkit) olivat ihan ok ja samoin palvelu sekä iltaohjelma. Varasimme hotellin vasta torstaina (tulo oli lauantaina) ja saimme edullisen hinnan ja sen vuoksi söimme paljon muuallakin useina päivinä. Olimme ainoat suomalaiset koko hotellissa :-) Suoraan hotellin alapuolella on taksiasema ja bussipysäkki. Jo kahden hengen porukalla taksilla liikkuminen oli lähes saman hintaista Rhodoksen kaupunkiin (8 €) kuin bussilla (jotka näyttivät olevan melko täynnä aina) ja samoin lentokentälle oli helppo lähteä siitä (17 €). Kahden viikon lomalle tämä olisi hyvä paikka toiseksi viikoksi ja toinen voisi olla jossain pienemmässä paikassa. Suosittelen lämpimästi aikuisille.

Ok all inklusive nära Rhodos stad

Fräscht välstädat hotel, saknar dock lite finess. Restaurangen bjöd på stort utbud vid bufféerna men ganska tråkigt - skolmatsal.
Hotellet ligger tråkigt vid vägen precis men runt poolområden ok.

Bell'hotel proprio di fronte al mare con una bella spiaggia di ciotoli e sabbia ( sdraio ed ombrelloni a pagamento ), ad un paio di km dal centro storico di Rodi , molto carino sia di giorno che per la sera.... Anche senza un auto le maggiori attrazioni dell 'isola sono raggiungibili con i mezzi pubblici o con navette dedicate

좋아요~

호텔 내부 풀장도 있고 해변에서 가까워요. 근처에 슈퍼도 있고. 버스 정류장도 가까운 편. 시설이 아주 좋은 것은 아니지만 청소나 직원 서비스 좋은 편이고 올인클루시브답게 음식도 깔끔한 편. 와이파이가 로비만 무료고 객실은 유료라는 게 매우 아쉬운 점입니다.

Très bon hôtel, face à une plage galets/sable

Très joli hôtel, situé à 15 minutes de taxi de Rhodes. Les chambres sont propres et spacieuses, le cadre est sympa. La nourriture est bonne, sauf pour le petit déj, car les viennoiseries sont molles et sèches. Le personnel est quasi invisible, l'ambiance pourrait être plus conviviale. J'ai passé une bonne semaine dans l'ensemble, surtout qu'on peut louer une voiture pour 35€ la journée au pied de l'hôtel.

Arrivati a tarda notte,siamo stati accolti da un consierge simpaticissimo,avendoci persino riservato qualche sandwich dalla cena.La stanza si trovava all'ultimo piano in posizione tranquilla vista mare e piscina,tutto ok se non che avevamo specificato di volere una stanza con letto matrimoniale,essendo una coppia molto kuschelig;ciononostante la stanza aveva due letti gemelli ; ((. Ci è stato garantito il cambio facendolo presente il giorno dopo: il personale diurno,anch'esso molto gentile,ci ha dato un'altra opzione,una camera alternativa al secondo piano e con arredamento un po' più moderno,sempre vista mare/piscina; forse un po' meno riservata ma ci andava bene.E' iniziato così il nostro meraviglioso soggiorno al Cosmopolitan.
Frequentato soprattutto da russi,belgi,olandesi e scandinavi il che è perfetto se ci si vuole davvero sentire all'estero.Le stanze sono pulite, l'arredamento semplice e il bagno con vasca e senza bidet,presente invece nella prima stanza assegnataci.Molto rumore la mattina quando rassettano le camere.La colazione lascia a desiderare: niente cappuccino,il caffé è solo americano e c'erano sempre lunghe code alle poche macchine.In compenso,il pranzo e la cena a buffet erano squisiti,con molte portate diverse di giorno in giorno.Occhio ai bicchieri non proprio puliti.Avevamo una formula all inclusive ma gli orari sono abbastanza rigidi.Nel complesso molto soddisfacente anche se come 4 stelle lo standard è un po' basso.

grazioso hotel a due passi dal mare. Poco pulito

Con la mia famiglia ho trascorso un soggiorno al Mare Blue la penultima settimana di agosto. Purtroppo ho notato una scarsa attenzione alla pulizia: le aree comuni lasciavano molto a desiderare; spesso piatti e bicchieri sporchi venivano abbandonati dal personale dell' hotel addetto alle camere al di fuori delle camere stesse, In una settimana il pavimento della nostra stanza non è mai stato lavato. Anche l' acqua della piscina non era certo pulita.
Il cibo non era all' altezza di un 4 stelle.

es ist ein massenhotel mit sehr vielen zimmern, daher auch teilweise größere wartezeiten am buffet
lage: im norden der insel ist es eher windig, u.a. auch surferparadies

Bra familjehotell med god och varierande mat

Vi trivdes bra på hotellet och bodde i en familjebungalow. Många olika nationaliteter på hotellet. Bra mat och väldigt varierande, bodde där 11 nätter och hann inte tröttna på maten. Inget festhotell utan familjevänligt och tyst varje kväll efter 23.00. Det enda vi hade önskat var att det låg närmare stan men en taxi till stan kostade 8 Euro så det gjorde inte så mycket.

서구에서는 일반화되어있는 형태지만 All Inclusive 호텔이 한국에서는 잘 알려져있지 않은 것 같습니다. 투숙 내내 모든 식사와 음료수 (맥주, 위스키, 칵테일 포함)가 무료입니다. 휴식을 취하기에는 매우 좋은 패키지이고, 가격도 상당히 저렴합니다. 호텔 자체는 조금 오래된 것 같으나 시설, 서비스나 청결 상태는 나쁘지 않습니다. 식사는 부페로 운영되며 메뉴가 좀 단조로운 면이 있으나 질은 훌륭합니다. 다만 짐을 맡기려 했더니 잠금장치도 없는 빈 방에 그냥 넣어두라 하네요.

Décevant pour le rapport qualité prix

Hotel classé 4 étoiles qui correspond plutôt à un 3 étoiles moyen. La chambre était relativement petite, le sèche cheveu présent mais inutilisable (raccord tuyaux appareil fondu avec un trou énorme), éclairage mural sans abat jour avec fils électriques à l'air libre, 2 ascenseurs pour tout l'hotel (7 étages), cuisine identique pendant 7 jours midi et soirs ( a chaque repas morceaux de poulet, d'agneau et de porc le tout systématiquement en sauce, y a que la sauce qui change), pas de salle de fitness, le matin il faut s'arranger pour systématiquement piquer tasses, serviettes, couteaux, cuillères, sucre à droite et à gauche pour dresser soi même sa table. Points positifs : une équipe d'animation qui s'en sort plutôt bien avec des bouts de chandelle, personnel très agréable et serviable, petit déjeuner excellent avec un grand choix de produits. A noter que l'hotel ne dispose pas de transat à la plage.

Soggiorna anche tu al MAREBLU COSMOPOLITAN...!!!

E' stata una vacanza spettacolare, cha di fantastico che di qualsiasi cosa sei alla ricerca MAREBLU COSMOPOLITAN te la offre...è attrezzato per giovani, coppie, famiglie, bambini, anziani...c'è tutto animazione ballo si mangia bene, le pulizie ed il cambio della biancheria viene fatto tutti i giorni...fan, tas, ti, co!!!
