If you are looking for a super basic, dorm or hostel style room with a nice pool and good dinner restaurant bar in an isolated part of Rhodes, it’s an ok choice. Otherwise go to one of the many more equipped resorts or hotels in interesting parts of the city and area. They have no services here and not even a hotel phone for emergency situations.
Expect a very noisy restaurant and pool area right on a major busy road with buses and trucks all day. Have zero expectations for decor or design in rooms. Like a student dorm. Very basic breakfast but friendly staff. “Mountain view” is a hill and view of the backyard shed I paid and extra $60 per night for. :(
The staff and owners are friendly but completely inflexible and un accommodating. They grossly misrepresented the services and amenities on Expedia which heavily influenced my choice to book here for 5 nights. However once I arrived they said they didn’t offer those services and some disagreements between the owners communicating whether they ever had them.
I asked for 3 nights costs return to me which they repeatedly refused and explained why I booked there. Decided to leave anyway for my safety/ accessibility and book the rest of my trip at the Sheraton for close to the same nightly off season rate and get a stunning view of the ocean and a 5 star resort service.
Double check rates on other sites because after booking here I saw it half the rate I paid elsewhere which would explain their 1 star hotel service style.
