Excellent location within walking distance of everything, just across the street from the train station and steps away from the main pedestrian zone with all the stores.
The front desk staff were extremely polite and helpful.
Pretty decent breakfast with nice selections but if you're staying for more than 2-3 days it gets a bit repetitive. I love that they have a coffee machine that you can access any time of day or night!
The room was pretty small but manageable for one person. I really wish there were more flat surfaces in the room. A small desk is just not enough to put everything down and to have space to work if needed. I found myself moving stuff from the desk to the bed and back to the desk multiple times a day. Just adding a shelf or a couple of small tables in the empty space could make a big difference. But overall it's a pretty nice hotel in a great location.

I stayed at the Ritz in Aarhus for two nights at the end of May, and it was a fine place to be located in the city. The hotel is very close (2 minutes?) from the main railway station, and perfectly located for shops, restaurants and buses around the town. My room was located on the 4th floor, with a good view of the main street. The public areas of the hotel are OK, although the lounge/bar beside the reception is perhaps a little bit basic. The lift was really cool - 'old school' with a concertina folding door! Breakfast was really nice, served in the basement / wine cellar.
I somehow managed to leave behind my airpods, and the hotel staff were amazing. They leapt into action, and the pods were back with me in Scotland in a mater of days. In fact, the staff were all friendly, helpful and lovely,a nd deserve a medal for dealing with me!

Location is why we chose this hotel. Easy access to everything in central Aarhus. However, cleaning in rooms leaves a little to be desired; even when we put out the \"brush and dustpan\"... she hoovered, made the bed and whiped the bathroom. Glasses, cups, plates and cutlery were certainly not removed.
The self service taps for lagers on the ground floor were not really working, which in turn required a lot of effort from reception staff.

They do have an elevtor; it's tiny AND you have to manually open the door--and it's a super heavy fire door. I managed it only because I have big hips to bump it with. That said, the staff allowed me to keep my wheelchair in the lobby because I couldn't manage it on that elevator. Not the first hotel I've done that in, so I'm always grateful when they can make it work. Superb front staff!!! Can't say enough nice things about them. Nice breakfast although all the juice has added sugar. Handy location right across from the train station and about 2 blocks from the long pedestrian only shopping street, which is fun to browse. Take the #18 bus to Moesgaard Museum if you have time. The bus stop is a block from the hotel.

Excellent hotel, really friendly staff, clean room. Only thing I found a bit odd was a frosted glass door with no lock for the bathroom, but as a solo traveller I had no issues with it.

We like staying in this hotel however on this stay the toilet bowl seemed dirty with lime deposits. Also, no hooks to hang towels. No small hand towels. A couple were fighting at midnight. Police came.

Lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Aarhus. We had a room where we could have our daughter and our dog. 300 kroners extra for the dog. The room alocated for dogs is a really fine room close to the ground floor. The hotel is only a one minute walk from a park. The only downside is, the room is adjacent to some sort of service room, so you can hear noisy machinery behind the door. The service level is very high and staff are helpful and friendly. The hotel and room are very clean. A littke criticism would be that they wrote in a mail to us, that there would be a little toy and food bowl for the dog. There was neither. We did not bring our own food bowl because they wrote this. When we asked for a food / drinking bowl they found an empty discarded food container that was leaking. When we asked for something else they put two of these together. At most hotels we have stayed at with our dog these items were included in the dog fee. We would stay there again, so these issues are only for information on the hotel. The breakfast buffet was beautiful. High quality and very tasty. The breakfast room was very comfy. They offer free coffee, cake, veggies and fruit in the lobby. This was a really nice service.

They should not say there is a bar, a restaurant or parking, as none of those exist. Rooms are very small, there’s no safe in the room and there’s no ac available so it’s hotter than heck. You can’t keep windows open because of the noise all night long and the toilet paper is like sandpaper. The breakfast is great and the people are nice but the elevator is too small (holds 2 people). All in all, it was OK, not great.

The triple room was clean and comfortable. Except the bathtub is little unsafe for oldies like us. Since the water wet the floor from taking the shower and felt unsafe to get out from the tub.

Wonderful staff!!, great location with dining, shopping, train station 5 min walk, center of town 5-10 min walk, fantastic breakfast buffet. The room was clean, but in a noisy part. The water in the shower was too hot and the water valve was defective so I could not adjust the temp. I made a complaint but we were leaving the next day. Double bed was terrible. Every time I moved the top mattress bounced and disturbed my husband, and vice versa. We did not sleep well. Breakfast was good. Staff were very friendly and check in was quick. The hotel is close to the train station, restaurants, and shopping. The room had no special amenities.

Hyggelig personal, bra størrelse på enkeltrom og helt ok frokost (som gjerne kunne tilpasses intoleranser litt bedre). En dårlig lukt på rommet som ikke ble borte og lunkent vann i dusjen trekker ned hele opplevelsen og derfor også antall stjerner. Iskaldt på rommet første kvelden fordi noen hadde satt opp vinduet på grunn av lukten. Fikk lånt en varmeovn så det ble varmt igjen.
