Really not a Marriott level property. Unfinished walls and ceilings. No AC or even a simple kettle in the room. So much for calling themselves a 3 star hotel

Front desk was nice. Room was acceptably clean.

Issues? The room looks and feels like a prison cell, seriously. No artwork, almost no furniture, battleship grey walls, the closet is a pipe bolted to the wall, etc.

Shower sprays all over the floor, terrible design. Cheap towels.

No air conditioning, no blackout curtains... In the summer the room is hot, open the windows and on a busy steet so tons of noise. And completely lit up with sunlight until 11PM.

Just a really bad and depressing room all around.

Find something better.

Room 418 for family was excellent with split door. Nothing fancy but good enough. Hotel clerk was excellent to give us this room instead of the one with just a wall split.

we got in late and there was no one at the front desk to help us check in. We had to check in over a computer screen which is not what you want to do when it's late and you are tired. Everything else about the hotel was basically good. The room was a little small and felt like an unfinished concrete box as that's what it basically was. But the next morning the staff were very nice, and the breakfast which came with the room was quite good.

Easy and clean

The check-in worked perfectly with the machine.

Later when we arrived seperatly I was able to get and extra keycard from the machine.

Whilst checking in, the system was convenient. However the parking system at the hotel is absolutely inadequate. The receptionist never told us we needed to get a permit at the hotel and I received two parking tickets in which is ridiculous. I complained to the parking officer and the hotel and they said the ticket wil be cancelled. If communication was clearer this could have been avoided. Customer service is very limited and poor.
The room was very clean the beds were not comfy but ok for a obe night stay.

Short break to Aarhus

VERY BIG room! Unfinished concrete walls was a bit of a surprise compared to the UK but didn’t detract from our stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location.

There is only 2 lifts and only 1 lift is working when I check-in. The next day both lifts are out of order. There is also a heavy door to open to enter the lift.

Need to wait almost 1 hour for the lift to work and by then near 11 am everyone is rushing to check out.

There is no staff at the desk most of the time.

Unfortunately there is no air conditioning in the hotel and it was unbearably hot at night. The location is near bay roads so too noisy to have the windows open. The staff were very helpful and did get a fan but it didn’t help that much. Although a basic/budget hotel it should still allow guests to be comfortable.

Simple but modern, location off-centre

A good option in Aarhus if you don't mind off-centre location. It's reachable from the city centre by c15min bus ride and is served by several buses - so at most times you will not have to wait long. Also, the stop is right across the street.
Simple, clean, modernly equipped room covering all the necessities. The size is actually fairly generous when compared with other Danish 'budget' places I've seen. Perhaps even stylish - though instead of exposed brick there is exposed concrete panel.

Okay værelse, ikke noget særligt. Sengen er god. Belysningen virkelig dårlig hvis man har tænkt at lave noget ved bordet. Derudover kun 1 stol til bordet selvom værelset er til 2 personer.
Badeværelse meget mindre end billedet viser. Man skal ikke være en stor person for at gå i bad der.

Oplevelsen var ok, men kunne være bedre.
Der lugter altså fælt af kloak (rådnende sæberester, og den slags) i både reception om aftenen, når man kommer sent \"hjem\" og hoveddøren nok har været lukket i noget (dvs der er ikke blevet luftet ud i noget tid). På værelset måtte jeg have vinduet åbent for ikke at have kloaklugt i næsen ved sengetid.

Der står det er handicap venligt,på hjemmesiden. Dette var absolut ikke den opnlevelse vi havde .
Derover, var der ikke mørklægning gardiner, varmt og megen støj fra gaden, vågnede midt op natten da det lugtede af røg, folk sad i vinskarmen mod svalegangen ved siden af og røg.
Ingen kaffe til morgenmaden på 2 dagen, den ene elevator var også i stykker.

Gutes Hotel im Stadtteil Viby

Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb von Aarhus City Center, aber es gibt nebenan ein Einkaufscenter und mehrere Restaurants. Schade finde ich das man immer den Fahrstuhl benutzen muss, da beide Treppenhäuser durch Alarmtüren gesichert sind. Beim Frühstück gibt es noch viel Kleinportionsverpackungen, ansonsten aber gut.

Overrasket over værelset var var så lille og badeværelset lige så. Vand på gulvet ved vinduet (glemte at sige det til receptionisten). Morgenmadsbuffeten med kog selv æg var lidt for mærkelig og samlet set var der ikke meget plads nogen steder og vi undrede os over, at det var Sheraton stil.

Der var god service i modtagelsen flinkt personale og morgenmaden var god men når man booker gennem hotels og smider 4056,- forventer man morgenmaden er inkl for 3 overnatninger dette er dog ik tilfældet det ik ok og personalet på hotellet mellem morgen og aftwn er flinke seevice mindet men natten mellem nat og morgen er ik helt så ovs på hvem der overnatter og ik gør vi oplevde natten mellem 9/8 og 10/8 at brandalarmen gik og og ikke en øvelse men der var ingen der snakkede med nogle af gæsterne eller talte op der kunne have værert alvorligt og ik en dum gæst der brød reglerne om rygning på værelset vi duerne var låste så man ik ville kunne flygte den vej det under alt kritik og på ingen måde i orden det trækker ned for havde der værert brænd var man nød til at smadre ruden for at kunne komme ud den vej det må klart ære en ommer fra hotellets side med vi duerne

Hotellet opplyser at de har gratis parkering. Det er ikke mulig å registrere bilen når man kommer utenom resepsjonens åpningstid da man kun kan registrere dansk skiltnummer. I tillegg kreves det parkeringsskive i bilen. Dette forventes altså at man vet og har tilgjengelig ved ankomst. Det er ikke alle som vet/har tilgjengelig. Etter en lang dag på reise og ankomst på natten, er alt dette vanskelig å finne ut av, som da resulterer i bot. Så informasjon om det på hotellets side kan være lurt.

Solo llegamos a dormir, pero no hay recepcionista a partir de las 11am por lo que te dejan la llave en una caja en la entrada. El cuarto parecía que estaba todavía en construcción, limpio, pero con varios detalles. El desayuno muy limitado para el costo del mismo. Puedes estacionarte en la plaza del hotel sin costo (pero debes de registrar las placas en recepción)

OK til overnatning.

Fint hotel til bare overnatning. Der mangler et bruseforhæng, så kunne de minimere mængden af håndklæder, da man så ikke skal behøver tørre hele gulvet efter bad. Derudover er morgenmad ALT for dyrt, hvilket nok er derfor ikke mange spiser der.

Anmeldelse af overnatning

Næsten alt var super fint, det bedste var hvor serviceminded receptionisten var. Vi var der i forbindelse med bryllup, han ønskede os et godt bryllup, ville gerne tage nogle billeder af os og ved udtjekningen spurgte han om vi havde haft et godt ophold og om vi havde hygget os til brylluppet. Det eneste forbedringspunkt er at få nogle hovedpuder med mere fylde da de var helt flade og sengegærdet var meget hårdt.

Det er suverænt det dårligste hotel jeg har boet på med absolut ingen service. Jeg lejer et værelse med 2 senge og den ene seng er fyldt med madkrummer toilettet løber og på trods af jeg har været i receptionen 5 til 6 gange lykkedes det mig ikke at møde noget personale.
